Transaction /n/TMWFLOW/CMSCONF

Hello!
If I execute the Tcode /n/TMWFLOW/CMSCONF I can see the projects created in tcode "SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN" but there are red.
Is there some activation steps to do it?
Other issue:
I have SOLMAN 4.0 and can see only two tabs, but not the tabs like "Distribution routes", etc.
Are these tabs only by SOLMAN 3.2?
<b>Is there some configuration guide or .sim-file describing the usage of Change Request Management?</b>
Thank you!
regards

Hey Thom,
Issue 1).
In SOLAR_PROJ_ADMIN, the reason you get those red icons because settings which are maintained are not as recemmended by SAP,
For e.g
if you define a Production sytem in your project landscape, then Cross-client changes are NOT permitted, however its permitted if it were a Development system.
Just click on the red icon and then on your right, you will see the tab where you get know what went wrong and correct it if neccssary.
Issue 2)
With Solman 4.0 distribution routes tabs are not present.
There are *.sim files and configuration available for Change request management in sap marketplace, but they are valid only for SOLMAN 3.2.
This is where you get them.
<a href="https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000633637&">https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000633637&</a>
Just click on Techincal or functional roles on your right and there you get everthing.
For SOLMAN 4.0, there are no config guide or SIM files available yet.
Please Reward for usefull post and close this thread if your problem is solved

We have upgraded our SMR 3.2 to SMR 4.0, in SMR 3.2 i can able to see the tab named "Distribution Routes" using /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF transaction.when i used the same t-code SMR 4.0 , i can only able to see System Change Options and Critical objects,Other tabs are not in visible mode ??? how can we retrive the same tab . or else is there any other t-code for Distribution routes ???? guide me ..
im struck up while following the SPRO settings in ChaRM.Send me is there any step by step weblogs are available ???

    Hi Prakash,
If you are trying to create project cycles with /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF-> Distribution Routes-> Project environment, go to SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN -> System landscape-> Project cycles. With Release 4.0, some functions that existed in 3.20 outside of the original tools of the Solution Manager have been reintroduced.
If you need to go to Transport Domains and to navigate to TMS system configuration, go to Transaction SMSY-> Environment -> Domain Controller Overview.
If you need this tab for other function, let us know.

    Hi,
    Please kindly ensure that the IMG has been configured correctly especially in the perspective for ChaRM;
    SAP Solution Manager
    - Advanced Configuration
       -Scenario-Specific Settings
         -Change Request Management
           -Standard Configuration
             -Transport Management System
Extended Configuration is for the purpose, if you need to specify

  • /tmwflow/cmsconf

We are implementig ChaRM and we have the following situation:
Some domain control are configured in production systems and other in
    development systems.
Only the systems that are domain control in development system appear
correctly in /tmwflow/cmsconf transaction and is possible set up
"project assignment" to mandatory. When the domain control is in the
production system is not possible set up this. In change Attribute
definition screen, only productions clients appears.
When we change the domain control to development system, this problem
    doesn't occurs.
Is mandatory that domain control to be in development systems? I have
system that is better domain control in production system.

    Hi,
Do you have a domain link between SOLMAN domain contoller with the other domain controllers?
    What does /TMWFLOW/CHARMCHK say?

  • /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF - Unable to see overview of systems

    Hi
I am unable to see an overview of systems at /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF.
I have configured the system landscape at SMSY. I have 3 clients in the landscape which I use as DEV, QA and PRD.
At SOLAR_PROJET_ADMIN, I have added these components to teh landscape.
However I am unable to see any "Change Request Management" relevant tabs in the "System landscape" tab here (as some posts in this forum suggest).
    Are these two issue related?
    Regards
    SN

    Hi
Yes I have created the project as "Internal Maintenance Project".
The problems that I see are:
    1. I do not see any "Project Cycle" tab in System Landscape tab at SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.
    2. At SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN-> System Landscape-> Systems: When I check the System Landscape, It says: Logical component ZECCis not used in Project ZPRJ. (However it shows a green light.) At SMSY however I see the project ZPRJ and the logical component assigned to the project with all its systems.
    3. /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF is not showing any projects/components. For projects to show up at this transaction I think there are some settings tht I have missed.
Can anyone walk me through the steps that I need to have done in SMSY, DSWP, Transport management etc that can help me see what I have missed? I must have missed some configuration?
Is there any Configuration in SPRO to be done?

  • Specifying Critical Transport Objects under Change Management Extend config

I'm trying to configure Change Management and I am in SPRO under SAP Solution Manager -> Config -> Scenario-specific settings -> Change Managment-> Extended config -> Change Request Management -> Specify Critical Transport Objects.
It states that you need to select the system/clients for which you want to specify critical transport objects.  however, i do not see my systems listed there.  I'm assuming i've missed a prior step somehow.
Any help would be appreciated!  Thank you!
    Margo

    Hi.
There are several things necessary to make the system appear in this transaction (/N/TMWFLOW/CMSCONF -> critical obejcts)
    You need:
    - a smi project
    - a logical component assigned to that project which contains your systems
    - at least one system within your logical component of type "developement system"
    - the project needs to be released for change request management (tx: solar_project_admin, "activate change request management")
    Hope this helps.

  • Set Project Assignment of Requests as Mandatory in Change RequestManagement

    Hi Guys,
I am working solution manager 4.0 CHARM implementation. now my issue is i want to set project assignment of requests as mandatory in CHARM. but when i go to transaction code /tmwflow/cmsconf i dont find any projects.
Before this i have created a maintenance project for CHARM with maintenance cycle and activated change request management and i also generated IMG project for my maintenance project, but still i could not find any projects in /tmwflow/cmsconf. Therefore i would like to request you people to give your valuable inputs for this at the earliest possible.
    Thanks&Regards
    Raju

    Hi Yorker,
For the first part of your question where you want to make a field mandatory in the sales view of article master, you can do it through t-codes OMSR and OMS9 where you can find the field selection group to which your field is attached and change that field to reqd entry.
And for the secod part where you want to find out articles where this field does not have a value. Goto SE16N or SE16 and for that field click on the selection options button and select = and leave the field blank. This will give you all articles that don't have a value in this field.

  • Change Management. Cannot go to the next phase ... And common questions.

    Hi dear colleagues!
Here there are some unpleasant problems which has arisen during Change Management functions realization...
    1. After approving of Urgent Correction by so-called "Change Manager", "developer" couldn't set it status "in development" -> and begin corrections in DEV system. It outputs in status bar: "NO ACTIONS IN THE WORK LIST".
    2. How should i link some urgent correction (or simply Service Message) to a specific Maintenance Cycle?
The same problem I cannot go to the next phase, system outputs that "No Maintenance Cycle is open for the current system".
    3. And please can u explain in a simple words: Should i always make a maintenance project for using "Change Management" functions?
    4. Can we use "Change Management" for 4.0C (vers. of satellite) systems?
Any help and tips would really appreciate.
    Best regards,
    Vladimir

    Hi,
For configuring change management, you will have to follow the SPRO guidelines for setting up transport routes between satellite systems.
Well i list down the activities that you need to do. Details you can find in SPRO -- > SAP Solution Manager --> Scenario Specific Settings --> Change Request Management --> Standard Configuration --> transport management System
    1) Activate Extended transport control by setting  System Parameter CTC=1 in STMS --> Systems
2)Create Client specific transport route between satellite systems
    3) Ensure that all the systems in the domain have the same transport group.
4)Configure or activate Single transport Strategy in STMS --> Overview --> transport routes.
5)Activate TMS Trusted services in STMS --> Overview --> Systems --> Goto --> transport Domain --> Management Tab page --> Security option group box.
Besides these activities, you will have to execute the SPRO IMG Activity
SAP Solution Manager --> Basic Settings --> SAP Solution Manager System --> Activate Integration with Change Request Management
For activity Intigration Solution Manager make the following entry
    APPL: Change Request Management
    RFC Destination : NONE
For activity Integration Change Request Management
make the entries in table BCOS_CUST as g
    iven in the IMG instruction.
Now in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN you can activate a maintenance project for change management by going to System Landscape --> Project Cycle
Click the check box Activate Change request Management.
(NOTE: The above option comes only in Solution Manager 4.0, for SOLMAN 3.2 you can directly create maintenance cycle in /n/tmwflow/cmsconf --> Distribution Routes --> Project Landscape group box .)
Now you can create a maintenance cycle by clickin on the button Create Task List in project cycle tab page.
Navigate to task list and activate the tasklist (Maintenance Cycle) by clicking on the status button.
Now while creating change request ensure that you are assigning the correct ibase /component of the production system in the satellite system landscape.
