Transactional Data Reporting (/SAPAPO/RLCDEL)

Dear All,
We are deleting stocks and other transactional data using the report /sapapo/rlcdel by location. However, we need to verify after deletion how many stocks and transactional data are there in APO system prior to deletion. Thus, we need to compare the data before and after deletion. Does anyone knows of any report we could use? Response are appreciated.
Regards,
Philip

Hi Philip,
If you are using the report RLCDEL in the background, you can check the spool for detailed info.
If you are running the report in the foreground, check the field Test Mode and execute. You will be shown how many data entries are going to be deleted. Click on the Delete button on the left to actually delete the entries.

  • Last Transaction Date Report

    hi
I'm trying to run a report in order to audit our database of suppliers (over 1000) (supplier records managed in symmetry)
I need to see against every supplier the last date that we paid them so that I can identify the ones not used in the last 2yrs and disable them.
the closest report I'm getting is one that shows every payment date for every supplier and is so large that I'm running out of space in excel when exporting the report.
Any advice on what items to select and parameters to set in order to get this report would be much appreciated!!!!!

My suggestion is to use the vendors table (PO_VENDORS) and the checks table (AP_CHECKS_ALL). Bring in vendor id, vendor name, and check date. Use a Last_Value function on check date to return the last check date for the vendor. See if that might work out. Or if having trouble with that, define the join in the business area between the vendors table and the checks table to be an outer join on detail, that will return master rows with no detail and master rows with matching detail. Take out check date from the format and add sum of amount to the format. Then edit for a check date (say >= '01-Jan-2008') that if you don't have any activity for after that date, then you want to get rid of those vendors. Run the workbook and any vendor with no activity will show as a NULL value for sum of check amounts (so have to add Amount(SUM) from the checks table to the workbook item list). Vendors with activity after that check date will show a numeric amount (might be 0 if in and out). You can then add a condition to filter for amount IS NULL and get the list of vendors that you want to look at disabling. Worked like a charm when I tested that here.

  • Time_dep master attributes not shown in transaction data report

My 'emp-ids' has timedependent attibutes. When I create the query from a ODS[ where emp-id is part of key] and drag the attributes. I do not see the attributes in report. I had a data-to and date-from as part of key fields for ODS. I choose range spanning different Years. I am expecting to see changes to attributes as well key figure info.I can see the KeyFig but not attributes.
The MAster data is loaded first and ODS later. Attributes are all set to be time-dependent and are navigational.
When I use the 'Key Date' feature of Query-Properties I can see emp-attributes that belong to only one of the date range, but Key figures are for all data ranges.
Shouldn't I be able to see attribute changes along with KeyFigures when I choose different date spans.

    Hi,
Are the 'date-to' and 'date-from' infoobjects time-characteristicts type of infoobjects or a normal characteristic infoobject? (Time characateristics infoobjects are system provided ones eg 0CALDATE, 0CALMONTH).
If it is a normal custom defined characteristic (like any other CHAR.. infoobject) then BW will not be able to relate it with the time values of the master-data (even when you are filling these with date/time values, it is not known to the system as a time field) and result in this problem.
    cheers,

  • Upload transaction data first BW report don't have master data description

    Hi All Expert,
    Im newbie to BW.
When i do my task, i upload the transaction data first and then upload the master data (customer, vendor) secondly.
When i viewing my BW report, it didn't show up the Name of customer and vendor.
Izzit because the order of upload transaction data and master data is wrong so i got this problem?
How can i solve this problem? (because i try to reupload the master data again, the name field still blank)
Hope someone can advice or help me.
    Thank you very much.

Check in the master data infoobject whether the texts are loaded or not. If not, load the master data texts from your source system.
Just right click on the master data infoobject and click on "Active master data".
If still it doesn't activate, go to Menu --> Tools --> Attribute change run.

  • AR aging report--from transaction date

    Hi
Presently the 7/4 bucket aging report shows current and invoices no of days past due i.e. 31 days due past due date.
Is there a report or any way by which this aging report can be generated to show aging from transaction date.

    Hi ninad
Aging Reports by default are generated based on Transaction date only and not based on GL Date. Please explain your requirement clearly

  • Report showing items without transaction data (materials without sales)

    Hi,
I need to create a report (in BW for retail), listing all the articles that has not been sold for a given month and store (plant). My thought was to create a report, setting a condition listing quantity = 0 and set Access type for result values to Master data. But this is not working.
Having tried the standard SAP slow seller query on the material movements qube (0IC_C03), I did not see this giving me materials with no movement.
Anybody have any tips how to solve a query where you need to list master data that does not have any transactional data in the cube?
My only thought is to create a new cube, and fill by looping on my material master and looking to the transactional data and if there is not hit, the material has not been sold that month, but I'm hoping for a smoother solution.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Øystein

    Hi,
    thanks for you reply.
I have tried the query with show all master data and condition quantity = 0, and this list a huge list of articles, (to me it seems like the whole material master). Luckily it's not a huge retailer, the material master is aprox 50k records. But the output did not seem to be correct. And it was slow. And again, no store will be keeping the whole material master for sale, so this will list everything, not just the ones relevant to the store.
My second option will require more work, by updating a "no sale" cube/dso and loop on all master data, but this will be done once a month, and then the work is done at evening/nights, and the report should be fast. It's not to much work to create the routine, but running it I assume will be time consuming.

  • Transaction or report to check changes to financial data

Is there any transaction or a standard report which helps me to check any changes to financial data. I require this for auditing purposes. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Naren

Again, do you want the changes done to the master data (GL Accounts) or transactions that effect the GL balance? For the master data changes you can check FS04, FSP4, and FSS4. For transactional data, you are basically looking at the documents that effect a particular GL account which in turn has its own change log. Yes, FB04 is the transaction for documents.
In general most of the changes are tracked using what are called change documents and this information is stored in CDHDR and CDPOS tables. You will have to figure out the OBJECT for your data and then you can read the changes from here. You can also use CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ function module. Take a look at other function modules within this function group.

  • Report "/SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_RUN"  ????

    Hi All,
Can someone tell why the report "/SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_RUN" is used and what are the prerequisites before we execute this report.??
    Regards,
    Chandan

    Dear Chandan,
with this report the macros are executed in mass processing.
At first you should create an activity (Prerequisite: You have already defined a planning book and a data view) in customizing for Demand Planning.
Afterwards create a planning job in transaction /SAPAPO/MC8D and schedule this planning job in transaction /SAPAPO/MC8G.
In  the report /SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_RUN, the program process each step.
I hope these informations can help you further.

  • Question while using report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL

    Hello all,
While using Report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL and going through system documentation, I found that:
"Normally, the order data remains in the database (it is not deleted as in live Cache)."
From the above statement I am assuming that data gets deleted in live cache on a timely basis, Can someone please let me know how frequently the data gets deleted in live cache?
    Thanks for your time,
    Venkat.

    Hi Venkat,
There is no specific frequency for data getting deleted from the live cache.
It depend on the transactions which are taking place in R3 and APO.
For eg. Sales orders create a requirement in the R3 which is transferred to APO.
Now when this sales order is delivered, the requirements gets deleted from R3 and similarly from APO livecache. But this information does not get deleted from the APO database tables.
So this report is used to delete R3 document data that is no longer required in APO.
Cleaning of the database tables in APO leads to better performance.
So as a best practice, this report should be scheduled to run weekly.

  • AR Transaction Data vs Line Item

    Hello,
I have need to generate a report with some degree of detail and I am having an issue understanding the correlation between AR Transaction Data and Line Item.  In a report I would like to show sales for the period and AR balances and I need to be able to drill down on these (at Profit center level or Business Area Level both Characteristics have been added to the extractor and are being populated).
How is Sales for Period derived in Transaction Data?  Can I create this same Key Figure at the Line Item Level?
    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
    MK

Sales are derived from the posting key used to post a AR document
The posting key is either sales/turnover relevant or not
As peopel use posting keys for all sorts of thingss- this is not the ideal solution to report Sales
    it also includes VAT
ow ar eyou planning to add Profit Centre -?
    Conside the following document
    Dr Debtors £117.50
Cr Reveneu Prfit centre 1  £50
Cr reveneue Profit Centre 2  £50
    Cr VAT £17.50
how are you going to get the profit centre onto the debtors postings?
You can't... you can see the data in 0EC_PCA_4 or you can join Ar4 ODS to the GL ODS via an infoset

  • Item Transaction History Report - Calculation for creating 'Running Total'

    Hello
Using Oracle Discoverer, we have written a report that pulls back all Inventory Transactions (by item number). This report lists both transactions IN (e.g. receipts into the store) and OUT (e.g. issues out from the store).
Our customer would like an additional column, to represent 'Running Total', to be added to the report. This column needs to capture the running 'On Hand Quantity' for the associated Item, as each transaction (both transactions IN and OUT of store) is displayed.
For example, if the initial/first transaction for an item was a Receipt of 500, then this column (on the first line) should display 500. If the second transaction for the item was an issue of 15, then this column (on the second line) should display 485. If the third transaction was for an issue of 50, then this column (on the third line) should display 435. If the fourth transaction was for a receipt of 20, then this column (on the fourth line) should display 455 etc etc
I'm not sure how I'd write a calculation to cater for this (within discoverer) - do you know if this is achievable? Any help would be much appreciated. This would be easy enough to do in Excel, but I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to discoverer(!)
    Many thanks
    Ross

    Hi,
You can generally do this type of calculation using analytic functions. You would partition by the item number and order by the transaction date in the analytic function. You can use SUM function (with an order by) to get a running total of a column in the report. You can SUM a calculation containing a CASE statement which changes the OUT transactions to a negative number. The SUM function will start at zero, so you then can use FIRST_VALUE function to get the first value for the item which you could then add to the totals.

    Kedalene

    Hi Kedalene Chong
ou don't need a list of variables to use them. Simply go to View -> System Information so whenever you hover around a field with the cursor, in the left bottom corner of the screen you will see the details of that screen along with the variable number if it is a variable.
So you will see something like:
    [Form=139 Item=29 Pane=0 Variable=91]
-> in this case the variable number is 91 - use it in Print Layout Designer.
So you can just use the variable specified in these details. When creating the print layout, just go back to your form, stand on a field with your mouse and you will see what variable to use.

  • How to get XLR to show BPs with no transaction data for a given date range

    Hi -
I am building an XLR report that does a comparison of net sales data across two periods for a given sales employee's BPs.
The report has the row expansion:
    FACT BPA(*) SLP(SlpName = "ASalesPersonNameHere") ARDT(Code = "ARCreditMemo", "Invoice") Group by BPA.CardName
    and column expansions:
    FIG(SO_TaxDate = @StartDate:@EndDate)
    and
    FIG(SO_TaxDate = @StartDate2:@EndDate2)
where @StartDate, @EndDate, @StartDate2, @EndDate2 are parameters that define the two ranges of dates.
The column formulas are, from left to right:
    =ixDimGet("BPA", "CardName")
=ixGet("SO_DocTotal")      <-- filtered by column expansion for first date range
=ixGet("SO_DocTotal")      <-- filtered by column expansion for second date range
The report works fine except for one problem, I would like it to include BPs for which no transaction occurred in either date range as well.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Lang Riley

Really appreciate your feedback!  Those are good suggestions. I should have mentioned that I had already tried both those suggestions.
Removing FACT on BPA in this case ends up returning all the BPs and not respecting the SLP(SlpName = "aName") part of the query.
Using **, i.e., * or #NULL, makes no change in the resulting data in this case.  I had thought that ** would be the solution, but it didn't change the outcome.  I still have BPs for which when their sales employee is used as the filter and they have no transactions for either date range, and yet they still do not appear.
I should further mention that the IXL query, as it now stands, does return BPs for which one of the periods has no data, just not both, and I have verified that applicable BPs with no transaction data for both periods do exist in my data set.  It seems that perhaps the IXL query needs to be restructured?  Please keep the suggestions coming including how this query might be restructured if necessary.
