Transport Whole Org Mgmt Structure

Hello,
We're using the Organizational Management Stucture to assign roles to users (through positions assignments, etc). We normally do this from DEV and transport each change to PRD through QAS. We recently upgraded from 46c to ECC6 and we lost synchronization of the Org Structure assignments between PRD and DEV. I wonder if it's possible to transport the whole Organizational Management Stucture in one shot to resynchronize it. I searched in vain.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Martin.

Hi Martin,
You may want to look around in the HR (-related) forum(s) for further answers. Or talk to the basis guys about transporting table contents.
The org structure is held in two tables (HRP1000 and HRP1001) which can be transported.

  • Transport of org. structure

    Hi
When I transport an org. structure the user assignment is overwritten with empty entries in production.
Normally I'm making the org. structure in DEV with out user assignment.
Releasing it to TST where I allocate some test users and then release it to production.
The last transport I moved into production made the wished changes to the org. structure but I also cleared all user assignments (just like in DEV).
I know there is a table where you can set whether you want to transport the user assignment - but where do I do that?
We are on ERP 2005 without HR.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Henrik

    Hi Henrik,
I am do not know where the entry is you mean, but if you don't assign users in DEV, then no user assignment will be transported as you always transport from DEV. So any users allocated in TST will not be transported.

  • Transporting a Org Unit to QA

    Hello All
We're about to upload our WF to QA, and I've set all the WF definitions and rule to a transport package, but I want to know how can I do the same with my Org Units. I've searched about this and cannot found any info.
    Regards.

These aren't usually transported because the organization is maintained in production.
You can use report RHMOVE30 to transport an org structure manually, however I usually find it quicker and easier to just recreate the structure if it's not too big.
    Cheers,

  • Solar_project_admin to transport whole project

We have to transport Documentation of project "smart" to a newer Solution Manager(version 3.2). However project "smart" exists aso on newer Solution Manager system but can be overwritten.

  • Org Mgmt Relationships - Mgr to Employee / Position

    Hello experts,
We are running on R3 and I was wondering if it is possible to link employees directly to a manager for expense approval via Org Mgmt?? Currently we only have relationships between Managers and Org Units but I have been told that you could also create an "Admin" kind of relationship between a manager and employee directly which would allow them to approve expenses...
does anyone know if this is possible? Or have alternative solutions?
The "manages" relationship is the standard one we use, but if others would also be suitable then it would be great to know!
    Thanks,
    Euan Robertson

this is possible through workflows. managers can approve expense in the manager's workplace or mss if applicable.
you can create a new relationship between the employees and their approvers in table t778V.
Where do the employee file their expenses?

  • Where to find valuse for Org. Structure, Purch. Group etc

Can anybody tell me whether there is any table where various values like ORG. Structure, Company code, Maint. Plant. etc stored so that we can get all the values at one time?
    Thanks in advance

Yes, I am using BI 7.0 in the backend. So I think I should be installing the 2004s UI, right?
I presume to have done so, because now in my desktop(Start Menu), I have (against Business Explorer), Analyzer, Browser etc and also Business Explorer (SAP 3.5x) and against that I have Analyzer 3.5x and so on. So, that means, I have installed the 2004s too.
So, why is this 3.5.0 being shown in the WAD which is 2004s?

  • Org model/structure, territory management:

    Hi All,
Can some one tell breifly about Org model/structure, territory management & how tomaintain them?.
    Thanks, Sudeep..

    Hi Sudeep,
Organizational Management allows you  to set up your companyu2018s organizational structure.
You can use this flexible tool to maintain the company structure, including the positions and employees in an application, and assign specific attributes to the organizational units. Organizational Management allows you to specify organizational data automatically in a business transaction using the organizational structure. It can also be used to determine business partners; for example, you can find the employee responsible for a business transaction.
You can further Select Determination of Data for Organization as per the following
Determination of Org Model via Organization Rule:
Determination of Org Model via responsibility
<Wizards to Create the Orgainsation Determination are available for Ease Creation of Determination Rule>
    Teritorry Management
Territory Management enables you to structure and organize your sales market by dividing it into territories according to criteria of your choice (such as size, distance, revenue, products, number of visits). The organizational model reflects the internal view of your organization. The territory hierarchy reflects the market view. Changes to the territory hierarchy usually occur more frequently than changes to the organizational model. The customer base can increase or decrease and territories must be resized or reallocated to accommodate this, to ensure that a sales representative has the appropriate workload.
Territory Management enables you to structure and organize your sales market by dividing it into territories according to criteria of your choice (such as size, distance, revenue, products, number of visits). These territories are structured in a territory hierarchy.
In Territory Hierarchy you can Classify Territories as per your Requirements

  • Transport of org.units and structure

    Hi all
I know there is a possibility to transport org.units and its structure (PPOMA_BBP). There are some settings to do in table T77S0 (key = TRSP.CORR) and 2 reports RHMOVE30 and/or RHMOVE50 to be used depending on the setting done in T77S0.
It is also required to configure ALE distribution model with IDoc type HRMD_A.
My question is: what do I have to include in the filter? What are the relevant info types to be replicated via ALE?
We're on SRM 4.0 with SRM Server 5.0 SP08. We don't have HR module in SAP R/3 in use.

  • SAP HR Org. Structure excluded from integration to SRM

We have not set up the automatic integration of HR org changes into SRM organization (report RBDMIDOC, message type: HRMD_ABA).
In SAP HR some new org units with its positions and employees will be assigned.
We would like to exclude this new part of HR Organization Structure from
integration to SRM. In the transaction BD64 we can filtrer object type,
subtype, infotype and relationship but this is not sufficient for us.
¿How could we exclude from copying to SRM a whole part of the organizatonal tree, for example excluding a root org. unit (one ID) and all its dependets org. units (evaluation path)?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hi Malgorzata Kaminska,
We had similar kind of requirement which we could acheive with
    01)  Write a custom program which calls the standard SAP T-code PFAL or (RHALEINI)
    02)  In the Exit R/3 outbound IDOCs, filter the PERNRs to exclude the list you do not want to.  If the list is static, you can maintain in a custom table one time and in the outbound idoc exit, check an entry exists in the table and exclude the PERNRs.  If the PERNRs are dynamic, then when the PERNR gets created, write another exit to populate in this custom table for PERNRs exclusion.
    03)  The custom program of point 01) will pick all the necessary PERNRs for replication and submit in the PFAL as select single.
    04)  The variant in the PFAL can have an evaluation path as P-S-O and executed under update mode.
    Hope this helps!!!

  • Org mgmt IT ( delete tadir entree

I am creating a new PD infotype with PPCI transaction, but the transaction did not generate the required objects. I had created the 'HRI9nnn'structure in the dictionary.
I'm unable to delete previous entries in TADIR..
    TADIR ENTRIES
    R3TR TABL HRI9xxx EXISTS
    R3TR TABL P9xxx EXISTS
    R3TR TABL HRP9xxx EXISTS
    R3TR PROG MP9xxx00 EXISTS
    R3TR PROG MP9xxxBI EXISTS
HOW TO DELETE THIS ENTRIES AND CREATE NEW  ORG INFOTYPE.
    Thanks in advance
    Mike

    Hi Mike -
Had you previously released this infotype to another environment?  If so, you need to put those TADIR entries in a transport and release them to move the deletion of those infotypes into your other system.  Then your TADIR entries are automatically deleted from your development system.
    Hope that helps!

  • Transport of CRM Organizational Structure

    - Hello Experts,
Hope you guys can support me on this issue,
Need to transport the Organizational Structure of CRM from Dev. system to QAS and then to Prd.(considering we're now on CRM version 4.0 SP09).
If anyone could send a manual or information on this procedure, that would be great...Thanks in advance,
         Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
It is not suggested to transport the organizational structure from one CRM system to the other CRM system in the same land scape.
For e.g. you have connected R/3 dev system to CRM dev system and the sales organizational strucutre is downloaded from R/3 to CRM.
You have to follow the similar approach between the R/3 QAS and CRM QAS and as well between R/3 PRD vs CRM PRD.
This is the only suggested approach that keeps all the systems in sync.
Off course, if you have maintained org structure manually in CRM dev then you can think of migrating it to your QAS system.

  • Report for Approver's name in Org. Structure

    Dear Experts.
Is there any standard way out to get a report where we can find the approver's name with the employee name. I want a report where i can find all the employee name with his approvers name, which is assigned in org.structure( reports line to). is here any standard way to find the same or we hv to go for some developments.
    Thnx.
    S kumar

    Hi,
    You may wanna check S_AHR_61016513.
    Select "Standard selection screen".
There object type O and find the object id of your root org unit.
    For evaluation path select O-S-P.
