Trigger an outband call

Hello!
Not sure how should be the best approach for my scenario, I tried to look for it on google but it seems I'm not making the correct question.
What I need:
From a UCCX script I need to capture Calling ID and Customer Service Queue with the purpose of built a callback list or outbound queue.
What I have:
I know how to capture the Calling ID and the CSQ (this is a parameter in the app)
What I don't know:
I don't know how to pass or send this information to somewhere outside the script.
I don't know what should be best and/or easier, if send this information to a txt file or some kind of report to have a list of call back requests or (not sure if this is even possible) to pass this information to an agent through Cisco Desktop and automatically trigger and outbound call.
What I'm looking for is even possible?
How it is called in the cisco realm so I can find useful information in the web?
Any better suggestion?

    This is my first time in ccBPM and require your expertise in gaining some insights onto calling an RFC FM using ccBPM.
    I am typically implementing the scenario as it is mentioned in this blog: /people/mitesh.parekh/blog/2008/12/01/receiving-aleaud-as-acknowledgment-in-ccbpm in order to generate acknowledgements from ECC.
    I have created the IR and ID and I am successfully able to exceute the BPM till step2. Step 3 is the ABAP mapping part for which i have specified teh required properties and Operation mapping too.
    My concern is that how do i proceed from Step 4 i,e how do i trigger this RFC call to ECC and receive it in BPM again?

    I am developing a scenario which looks like this MDM ->PI ( BPM)  -> ECC.

    I am posting MATMAS from MDM which is received in first step(receive step) of this BPM.
    2nd step (Send step - BPM) will send this MATMAS05 Idoc to ECC and Pi will have a message id generated for this message.
    3rd step of BPM (ABAP mapping) - which will read the actual PI Idoc number from system tables based on the message id from step 2.
    4th step: Idoc number retrieved is to be sent in the requset message of RFC ZALEAUD4XI.
    5th step: Response of ZALEAUD4XI RFC is to be received in PI and sent for further processing.
    Do i need a mapping between the requset output of ABAP mapping and the input RFC requset message of step4?

    I'm trying to make a adobe interactive form that needs to be populated by a web service. I have one field : In the dataconnection that is the input for the web service request and this is bound to the request. I have a button that is connected to my web service. After filling in a new value and pushing the button I want the web service request to be triggered.
    Thus anyone has a coding example or more information about using web services directly from within a Adobe Interactive form ?

    You may refer the Adobe ddevelopment center for the docs related to the execute property of the button to trigger a web service.
    <i>Alternatively, if you do not want to create a button to execute a call to a Web Service, you can do it via Script.
    Assuming your Data Connection is named ‘LeasePayment’
    For JavaScript:

    For Form Calc:

    execute(0) indicates no data merging

  • Calling a procedure from within a trigger

    Hi,
    I have a table (table1) which when a row is inserted into this table I need to populate a number of tables based upon gathering information from multiple tables using three fields passed in from table 1.
    I therefore proposed to create a before insert trigger on table1 calling a procedure which passes in the three new values as follows:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER trigger1
    BEFORE INSERT ON table1
    FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
    package1.populate_tables(:new.col1, :new.col2, :new.col3) ;
    END;
    This compiles fine, but when I actually insert data in table1 then I receive the following message and do not know how to get round it:
    ORA-04091: table table1 is mutating, trigger/function may not see it.
    I am using other fields in table1 to insert values into other tables (confusing I know).
    If anyone can help me I would appreciate it, or if you require any more information I would be very happy to provide it.

  • How to call a trigger when a transaction is rolled back

    Situation:
    Using a trigger to propogate changes from an Oracle8 DB to a remote non-Oracle database ( it may not even be a rational database etc.). The trigger is connecting to a external procedure to send the change to the remote "database" - all updates are to be replicated - inserts, deletes etc.
    Problem:
    If an update transaction is aborted in the Oracle database, after the trigger has been called but before the transaction is committed. The transaction is rolled back successfully in the Oracle database, but nothing happens to the remote "database". Therefore there is now an data inconsistency !
    How can I ensure that the transaction rollback occurs in the remote database as well ? There is no transaction monitor between the two databases. Can I get the trigger to be called again ?
    Any ideas, suggestions ??

  • Browser performance issue when Calling BI Publisher report from OBIEE dashb

    Hi Techies,
    We installed OBIEE 10.1.3.3 on SunOS 5.9 unix box.This is PROD env.We are calling BIPublisher report from OBIEE dashboard by clicking the BIP reports link on OBIEE dashboard.After clikcing the link BIPublisher report is opening in another browser window.But is it taking time.
    Plz tell me how can we reduce the time taken to open BIPublisher report window when we cilck on the report name in OBIEE dashboard

    There is no out of the box method to get the EBS report to OBIEE. You could look into moving the EBS report to a mountable web server directory after it completes and then show it in OBIEE via a link or html object. You will need to rename the report of course, every time you run it its going to change names.
    In an after report trigger you could call a small java class to move and rename the file for you.
    Alternatively, recreate the report in the standalone version. Be aware that you are going to have to set orgs yourself, BIP is not aware of orgs outside of EBS

  • After calling XDO data engine, error is coming but report is completing.

    There is a strange situation i am facing with one XML report.XML data definition of this report has two trigger.
    One before report trigger and other after report trigger.
    While running(using concurrent program) the report is completed with following error:

    You pl/sql package is failing with
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error
    it means, you are trying to convert a string to number, and it fails.
    Test the package with the original data.

    You can use a timer in your when-validate-item trigger. In the when-timer-expire trigger you can call the procedure open_form

  • Best Practice to save record in a table with appropriate trigger

    Hi,
    At the same time, five users are inserting client information in a client table through Oracle form. Client table has the following fields:
    CLIENT ID
    CLIENT NAME
    CLIENT ADDRESS
    CLIENT ID is generating automatically by calling a procedure. In this procedure I am using MAX function to get maximum value of CLIENT ID. After that, I store newly generated CLIENT ID in a DATA BLOCK item say :MASTER.CLIENT ID.
    The problem is that all five users do get same MAX value(suppose 40) of CLIENT ID at the same time, and oracle form will surely throw an exception at the time of insertion the record in client table. CLIENT ID is PK and it is a member of MASTER DATA BLOCK.
    I hope all above will clearly illustrate the problem, further please guide, can PRE-INSERT trigger may handle this problem efficiently ? , if so, then how ? ...

    CLIENT ID is generating automatically by calling a procedure.So, in which trigger you are calling that procedure?
    After that, I store newly generated CLIENT ID in a DATA BLOCK item say :MASTER.CLIENT ID. I would guess that you are using the code generation procedure in the WHEN-CREATE-RECORD trigger block-level. Because this trigger normally intialize the value for new record insertion. If no then specify.
    further please guide, can PRE-INSERT trigger may handle this problem efficiently ? ,Yes, PRE-INSERT will work without any problem.
    if so, then how ? ... Because, PRE-INSERT will fetch the MAX number from the table at the time of save not at the time of creation. So, suppose five user will enter record at the same time but when they will save then PRE-INSERT will get the max sequence number. And it will never create problem. Because in five user's insertion sure there will be some time difference. So, max number can be get easily without any problem.

    I want to create a trigger before an update and if the record doesn't exist that is trying to be updated, then I have to create the record.

    If you are updating trougha a procedure, after update statement you can use SQL%ROWCOUNT to get how many rows have been updated. If it zero you can insert the record.

  • Cannot exit form after on-check-delete-master trigger fires.

    I have a master-detail form.
    I have used the default on-check-delete-master trigger that gets generated by forms when creating a relation between master and detail data blocks.
    After trying to delete a master record when detail records exists for this master record, I cannot exit the form from a when-button-pressed trigger created in the master block.
    I know that the on-check-delete-master trigger fires , which calls the "raise form_trigger_failure" function.
    This then prevents me from exiting the form from an exit button that I created.
    If I try exiting from the default menu "exit" icon, I first am prompted to save or cancel the changes I have made - even if there are NO changes made to the form.
    Plse someone suggest a workaround asap.

    In the future, please include all related product versions (not product names - we need versions numbers). Without knowing the product version generally we can only guess.
    I have tested what you described in Forms 10.1.2.3 (with Forms Bundle Patch 9593176 & 11710576) and it works as expected. The query is cancelled. Given that it works in this version, I suspect it would also work correctly in the latest version which is 11.1.2.0

    When calling a form using webutil from the menu the focus on the applet (I mean the Forms Application window) is lost and I have to click on the window to get back the focus on the application.

There is a job schedule for synchronizing the application data to reporting DB , this daly basis synchronization.     The problem is:
    When the synchronization runs the trigger will gets called and the synchronization prc never stops because of the table locks.
    1)     why some tables are getting locks? (I think this is becuse some source is waiting for another to release-deadlock)
    2)     Is there any problem in trigger? (I think there is some problem is trigger)
    3)     When I comment below part then sync procedure works fine

    Whenever you post provide your 4 digit Oracle version (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION).

    Many problems
    1. The outer query queries the same table that the update trigger is updating. So some rows may never get seen; rows inserted or updated by other sessions. This means the DISTINCT results may not be distinct at all.
    2. The cursors select into SCALAR variables so if either cursor returns more than one row the trigger will raise an exception.
    3. The nested cursor loops could be replaced by a simple update statement.
    4. The original issue of updating the same table queried by your cursor.
    Whatever it is you are trying to do - this isn't the way to do it.
