Trying to change to photography package

I have a single app account for PS CC, I have tried contacting the online chat support staff, I have been at 1 person ahead of me message for an hour now, losing the will to live. If there is any support staff here, can they help me cancel my current subscription so that I can change to the photography package?

  • Trying to change broadband package

    I've been trying to change my broadband package for over a month now.  I'm still on the old Option 3 unlimited broadband, I want to be on the current Unlimited broadband package which is half the price for the same service (£16 versus £30.50).  I sent an email and received a callback over a month ago and was advised that changes had been made.  I checked last week and I was still on the old Option 3, after going on Live Chat I was told it would be resolved and I'd receive an email to tell me when it was changed.  No email received by today so went on Live Chat again and they confirmed that no changes had been made but this time were very evasive and again wanted me to wait to be contacted.  I can understand why BT would want me paying double for the same service but surely they can't just ignore my requests?
    Can a mod help please?  I've tried the Complaints section on the Contact Us form but it just directs you back to the same customer service teams which haven't done anything so far.

  • Deploying standard changes to SSIS packages

    A couple glitches were discovered in our SSIS template.  Approximately 100 packages were built from the template.  Is there a mechanism to update all packages with the changes?  Or do I have to open each one and manually change?

    I'm into the xml and notice a lot of difference between packages for DTS:DTSID   I searched the net trying to find what DTS:DTSID is and if I should be replacing this text.

    Each package object has a GUID, and the GUID is marked as the DTSID element in the XML code of the .dtsx file. Generally, it doesn’t matter to change the GUID of a package object only if the GUID is unique. However, when we try to modify certain XML code
    snippet of a package, there is no need to modify the DTSID element actually.
    You can first make the changes to a package, and compare and find out the modified code snippet. Then, you can open the code of any one package, and then perform text replace in the project or entire solution scope.

  • What exactly is included with the new adobe photography package?

    okay first off, I'm in love with all of these massive changes all the way around.
    secondly, I'm a bit of a hot mess.
    For starters I am upgrading my poor old PC to a Mac (it was time!) this means I loose all my previous software. (It's time to upgrade as well anyhow) I currently have cs4 installed, and also lr4 On my PC. I pick up my new Mac mini tomorrow, and would like to have a solid game plan.
    I'm having a hard time understanding what the new cloud options are, as well as the photography package for $9.99/mo. With this, is creative cloud included? do I have to purchase creative cloud membership in addition to the photography package? Does this include full use versions of both photoshop and Lightroom? And lastly what is the benefit vs buying lr5 outright (physical software) and / or buying the full download use of Photoshop and using via creative cloud. My how times have changed.... I feel so out of the loop, however extremely excited for the changes and inspiration.

    My understanding is that the $9.99 photographer package includes Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom CC 2014, as well as 2G of cloud storage. It doesn't include access to the rest of the apps in the CC universe (which you'd get with a full CC package), nor does it include TypeKit as a part of the package. It also includes access to Lightroom apps for the iPad and iPhone, and the Photoshop Mix app for the iPad.

  • Problems buying the Photography Package through Amazon

    I tried to take advantage of Amazon's Black Friday promotion on the $9.99 photography package but have encountered nothing but roadblocks:
    1) I ordered it through Amazon and got a confirmation/welcome email from Amazon
    2) 30 minutes later, I got a second email from Amazon, saying that the subscription had been cancelled and that I had been refunded
    3) In calling Amazon, I was told that the payment/subscription went through without a problem, but that their system showed that Adobe had cancelled the subscription. It was suggested that I try again.
    4) I did, and experienced the identical sequence of events
    5) I had a frustrating 39-minute chat with support. The first rep never seemed to understand the issue. The second rep promised to look into it, but couldn't promise to have it resolved before the Amazon promotion ended.
    6) The chat crashed and the transcript has no case ID on it, so I have no way of knowing whether the issue is being escalated...other than starting a new chat, which I don't have the energy or patience to do.
    I will call Amazon again (they asked me to if the problem recurred), but I'm now reconsidering even bothering with either Adobe or CC.

    The issue has already been escalated by Amazon, which, frankly, seems to have a much more helpful and engaged customer service staff than Adobe does, if my experience so far is any indication. I spent 40 minutes in chat yesterday with two Adobe reps, with no discernible result, other than frustration, which is why I posted here. I spent most of my time with the first rep, who never seemed to have a clear idea what I was talking about. The person s/he passed me on to had a better grasp of the issue but promised only that he would pass my concern on. Before that could be confirmed, the chat session crashed. And although I'd had the foresight to request a transcript, the transcript itself did not include the case number, so I had no way of renewing the session, nor was I prepared to start again from scratch.
    Here's the difference between Amazon customer service and Adobe's: Amazon immediately took ownership of the issue and promised to stay in contact with me until it was resolved. Adobe barely understood what I was talking about and took no ownership whatsoever of the issue. Clearly, it's neither strictly an "Amazon issue" nor is it strictly an "Adobe issue." Amazon took the order, but Adobe cancelled twice. Any resolution, however it is arrived at, will involve communication between the two companies. That Adobe was not prepared to initiate that contact suggests that if I ever do get the CC subscription going, I should not expect stellar customer service or support from the company.
    All in all, my experience with Adobe was profoundly disappointing.

    this is an outstanding issue of over 7 weeks.  I am still trying to get a photography subscription running. There seems to be an issue with getting Lightroom 5 running.  I have recently cancelled a complete Creative Cloud subscription with your assistance and opted for the photographer package at $9.99 per month.  CC running ok and so is photoshop cc.  But no light room. Please help me get this sorted, PLEASE!

    You don't need to upgrade your software.  But if you're struggling with Spry, IMO you should cut your losses and switch to something better for the longrun.
    If you have a budget to work with, I highly recommend Project Seven's Pop-Menu Magic 3.  It's easy to use in DW CS4, 5, 6 or CC.  More importantly, it's bullet proof and works in all devices.

    There are two different LR’s, one with a serial-number licensing and one with a CC-signin license.
    You should uninstall the serial-number LR you have installed, then
    Quit the CC Desktop application,
    Restart the CC Desktop application—this will rescan what you have installed and not see LR,
    LR will now be on the CC Desktiop apps list, so install that.

  • Crashes after trying to change font in score window

    Hi,
    I'm having a weird problem with Logic 7.1 in my powerbook 1.33. When trying to change a font in score edit window, Logic crashes imediatly. It happens in the "Text Styles" window as well. When you click in a font name, it's gone!
    Any ideas? Running in the latest Tiger with 1Gb RAM. Also, is it a problem to keep Logic 6.4 installed on the same machine?

    as a matter of fact i do, although my G4 will run classic. and LP7 is os x only, you need an older version of logic that runs in OS 9. logic won't run in classic mode.
    to save your file, i suggest taking it to someone with os 9 and an old version of logic. in fact, if you emailed it to me i could do it. someone on this forum suggested buying an older machine with USB (or getting a USB card) just for such emergencies. i have retained my old G3 powerbook with logic 5.5. it has a PCMCIA USB card on it so i can put in my XSkey.
    having to do this is stupid though. let's see, to fix this logic score display bug, we have to buy an old computer that can boot up in classic, open and resave the corrupted song in that. what a ridiculous work around.
    when I open older socres created on my previous mac-printer setup, it's all messy, dynamics, articulations and text (not to mention the wrong fonts).
    yet another reason we need some logic score updating action. the reason your score looks funny will be due to the fact that you probably resized your score using page setup - ie using your printer driver. the correct way to do this is by opening the instrument set display box and resizing there.
    fonts not being displayed will be down to whatever fonts you have available in your system, so if you do not have the fonts available then they cannot be displayed. another reason your display will look strange, particularly in terms of where your articulations and dynamics are placed in the score may have to do with how you inserted them in the first place. in logic, you have to be very careful to insert your dynamics, articulations etc on the correct stave (it will be highlighted blue when you select the object) and in the correct midi position. check to see if they are in your messy score by selecting the object (ie dynamic articulation or whatever) and opening the event editor. is it where it should be?
    another trick if the display is completely screwed in logic 7 is to cut an object at a barline. (though obviously not in the middle of a note). this forces logic to recalculate the score display.
    my advice if you want to have soft copies of previous scores is to create pdf's of them. i almost never print directly from logic (unless i am in a terrible rush), i create pdf's first. that way you won't run in to the display problem. you can do this easily in os 9 if you have laserwirter 8 selected in chooser. you can then save to file and choose acrobat pdf.
    let me know if you want me to rescue your logic song that won't open.

    What id shows in Settings > iTunes & App Store ? If it's the old one then tap on it and log out of it and then log in with the updated version

    I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud.  Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved."  It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
    Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud.  Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?
