I have ipod classic, My ipod is in the disk mode, can't get out of it, it says error 1439, i had tried too many times, with trying to reset the ipod or restore it, but failed, please help me in this what can i do.
Try going to settings and reset all settings. This worked for me.

Can't get ipod classic 80GB into disk mode
I have tried and tried to get this 80GB ipod into disk mode by pushing the select/menu until it restarts and the select/pp buttons. It keeps going back to the red x. please help.
Is it possible my IPOD is defective?
Probably not, but it's more than likely that the docking station either isn't compatible with the Classic or the cables supplied with it aren't.
Does it specifically say the Dynex is Classic compatible? -

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
My computer won't recognise my iPod Classic, even in disk mode?
I have a 160GB 6th generation iPod classic and my itunes won't recognise it. When I plug it into my laptop the laptop makes the noise as to say it has a new device connected, but it won't show up in my windows explorer or in my itunes. I have googled it and seen that I can put it into disk mode to try and fix it but when I do that the screen says OK to disconnect, and doesn't change even when I plug it into my computer. The laptop still doesn't recognise it then. I have tried different leads and the computer makes the 'recognises new device' noise with both, but it still doesn't work. The ipod doesn't say it is connected, the charging icon doesn't even come up on the battery on the screen of the ipod but I have left it plugged in and it is charging. I think it's a problem with the iPod as even when I plug it into the plug socket to charge the same thing happens, with no response from the battery icon. The screen does however light up when it's plugged in so the iPod recognises that it is plugged into a charging source, but thats just the backlight coming on and nothing else and it won't let me sync it or anything.
I can't get to an apple store for over 3 weeks as I am home for Easter and there's none near me but any help would be appreciated!!

Charges, but doesn't display charging icon (no lightning bolt in the top right). Doesn't recognize that it is plugged into the computer, and the computer doesn't recognize it (MacBook Pro, again, latest OS).
I have reset it... twice. And I've put it in disc mode - same results.
It will charge off my computer, but it won't sync, and it hasn't for about a week, so my podcasts are all out of date

TS1441 Ipod classic stuck in disk mode
My ipod classic is stuck in disk mode, computer/itunes won't recognize, i've tried resetting, but either says "ok to disconnect" or "restore with itunes." When i plug it in, the computer nor itunes recognize that it's plugged in.... please help.
The best way to get out of this situation is to use a well-known tool called TinyUmbrella.
First of all download TinyUmbrella http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.in/
Now, making sure your device is connected to your computer, launch TinyUmbrella
It will automatically detect that your iPod is stuck in recovery mode
Select the Exit Recovery button and it should throw your iPod touch out of recovery.
Alternatively, you can right-click on your iPod name from a list at the side
of TinyUmbrella and select Kick out of recovery. -

I got a new Ipod classic for Christmas and when I hooked it up to Itunes it started adding some songs then froze as I had this problem with my old Ipod I restored it and was ready to begin again, then it started saying it was corrupted and after searching ways to fix this problem online I tried for a while to restore as prompted and fix it but then it went onto disk mode and now it's locked on that mode and I can't get it out of that at all. I put my old Ipod on this morning to my Itunes and it worked fine and synced as normal so now I know it's the Ipod. I've no idea how to fix this problem myself or why it started, I'm normally able to fix most of my technology stuff myself and all morning this has been stressing me out. I'm not sure where to send it for repair or how much it will cost at all, appreciate any help at all.I have the same problem. Have you figured out how to fix it? I'm going to my Apple store this afternoon to see if they can fix it. Thanks.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Everytime I try to connect, it gives me a message which reads http://www.apple.com Duplicate IP address: you must login with a different IP address". Help!
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
And reboot the Wi-Fi router. -
Junk characters like" � � "displayed in the jsp page please help.

I am getting junk characters like � � displayed in the jsp page.
In the JSP page i used javascript "& nbsp" for appending spaces to a string "CCR" to get "CCR " .
Now the Resultant string "CCR " has three spaces appended to its right.
This String is set in session in that JSP page.
In the next JSP page i am getting that string from session.
After getting the string the "substring" function is performed to get only the first 5 charcters of the string. Now the result is displayed as " CCR� � " with has last 2 characters as junk values � � insteed of displaying as "CCR ". Please help me in solving this issue.
Please note that initially the sting "CCR" is got from the Oracle database in Solaris Machine.

strenuously inspecting the string that is coming from the db? do an actual loop over the string, character by character, dumping to System.out to make sure the characters are EXACT coming out of the db.
note you have to append " " not just "& nbsp"
post the code that is doing the output. the relevant bean code, the jsp, everything relevant - WITH COMMENTS discussing where things are happening.
Also, is it "weird characters" in the browser only? have you done a view source on the actual html source that the browser is rendering (right click in IE and click view source). browsers can act odd if you don't feed then exactly what they want, and it looks like you're feeding it escaped characters that it is rendering as something else. -
