TS1538 everytime i turn on my phone to do anything, call, text, play a game, etc. a request pops up for me to sign into itunes store, wants me to enter my ID password.
I recently made an in-app purchase that i did receive a receipt for, but would not apply to the game (in other words, so far i have been unable to use this 99 cent in app that i purchased.) as it was only 99 cents, i was not too bothered about it, and figured it was a game glitch and a lesson to me to NOT buy in-app purchases. the only thing now is that ever since i did this my phone pops up a message every time i go to use it asking me to enter my apple ID password. this is extremely annoying.
After a visit to the apple store, they were able to get through my pass code but unfortunately I found out that is was a problem with the logic board. Since Apple only wants to sell and not fix, I was able to locate an iphone repair near me that deals with logic boards and they are currently working on it right now. i should be getting it back soon. Im not sure if the problem you are experiencing is the same as i went through but it does sound like it may be also a hardware issue and would suggest searching online for an iphone repair place that can diagnose what exactly is wrong. You can use an AIM (Or AOL) as AIM stands for AOL Instant Messenger.
Apple have an agreement with AIM that @Mac.com and Mobileme/iCloud (*@me.com) Names are also valid AIM Screen Names.
However the Passwords must be kept to 16 characters or less due to the limits on the AIM servers.
Other Apple IDs are not Valid Screen Names unless you specifically Register them with AIM - OR they belong to another Service which iChat can access and are valid as Chat names with that Service.

Whenever I turn on my Apple TV, it get an error message that says "Have you forgot your password. You have attempted to log in too many times. Go to itunes store on your computer and get your password". I have logged into itunes store on my computer, but I don't know what to do next. I accessed my account on itunes store hoping that would give me a pasword or other useful information, but no help. What am I supposed to do?
I was not complete clear.
Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

When I try to update apps on my iPad, it asks me for my mothers password and displays her apple ID. How do I change it to ask for my apple id and password??? There is no featured tab in my iTunes store. . . and everywhere it shows me signed in. I had downloaded an app for my mother on HER ipad, and that is the only app I have done for her. It shows up on my phone, and now I cannot update any of my apps. I uninstalled that app on my phone, but when I want to update ones I have installed on my phone with my appleid, she keeps showing up.

how can I reset my iPad YouTube password? I can't sign into youtube on iPad. It says Username or password is wrong although both are correct when I log into YouTube account via Google. I also tried my husbands youtube login and password and the same outcome. Now I cant log into YouTube via the iPad account. I can log into Youtube via Google however my subscriptions and favorites are all gone. Can I reset the YouTube account located on the iPad? I cant seem to reset the password or delete the app and re-add. I dont want to reset the iPad since I have alot of videos and pictures on it.
Do you have Google 2 stage authentication turned on?
If so, you wont't be able to use your normal google password, but will have to instead generate an "application specific" password for the iPad YouTube app in the google security settings section. -
My phone is telling me to restore it as it will not come on and just shows a plug into itunes sign...however there is an error restoring it. HELP?!
You might try:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU) mode:

Solved the problem. I had to allow cookies for safari and it run - as here: Re: itunes keeps asking for my apple id password. it's NOT entered incorrectly.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

ThanksHere is a solution that worked for me, after nothing else would. Log out and back in to iTunes on your Mac/PC.
I had exactly the same problems as above, and no amount of network changes or even a full restore would help.
Finally, I went back to my PC, launched iTunes, logged OUT of that, then signed in again, this time with the new password.
Then I had to go back, and properly close Facetime and iMessages and sign in. It worked fine after that.
(To properly close an application, double click the home button, then hold down on the facetime app logo in the multitasking bar at the bottom, then press the tiny symbol.)

I've got the same problem right now. I have an old Apple ID that my whole family was using (of course that one works fine) but I want to sign in with my personal iCloud ID and it does the same thing that you described. Any answers?
Note: doesnt work in iTunes or the App Store from my Macbook Pro or my iPhone, but does work when I sign in to the Apple ID page in my browser. -

You can't use Find My Phone unless you activated it on the phone before you lost it.
