How can I get Apple to recognize me? Every time I try to put in my Apple password, it doesn't recognize it. I try answering the security question, will not recognize it. I end up changing the password then try signing in again and it won't recognize it. We start all over again.
Have you changed the email address associated with the Apple ID? I did, and learned the hard way that it caused a lot of problems. I had to delete that ID and create a new one, then it caused problems with iCloud because of my old email address. If that's not the case, you might need to set up a new Apple ID altogether. Sounds like a pain, but it's not too hard, and you only need to create a new email address. You can also set up new security questions for the new ID and it should be recognized when you enter the information in iTunes, the App Store, etc. If that doesn't work, I recommend calling Apple and explaining the situation. After an unsuccessful Itunes update I started getting a "msvcr80.dll file is missing from your computer" message. I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Visual C++ file and it said the reinstallation was successful but I still get the same error message and Itunes won"t install or run. Any suggestions? Thanks

When you uninstall, the items you uninstall and the order in which you do so are particularly important:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

I have forgotten my itunes account info.....When i have tried to answer the security questions to get access I enter my birthdate and the system says it doesnt match and please check my personal info and re-enter? I bought six songs using my itunes gift card in February but I cannot play the songs or downlaod them to my ipod because I get an error saying the original file could not be found. I have used the gift card previously with no issue. How do I fix it?
Have you moved or deleted those tracks on your computer (the gift card has got nothing to do with it) ?
You might be able to re-download them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes (re-downloading isn't possible in all countries) - if those songs appear there then delete the entries from your iTunes library (where you are clicking on them to play them and gettinf the 'original file' error), and they should then get a cloud symbol against them for re-downloading.
If they don't appear in that link then have you got them on, for example, an external drive ? -

Since I downloaded Firefox 5 I cannot get the links to work for accepting or receiving gifts for Farmville & Frontiersville, what can I do. When a request is posted on my FB page and I click on it to send or receive a gift it just shows that its "connecting" and sits there for several minutes then only sometimes actually goes to the gift. I imported about 300 RAW images yesterday and worked with them for about an hour. iPhoto locked up on me and I rebooted. After I did the event icon for that event is now gray and it says there are no photos. I know the photos are there. Any idea how I can recover them?
a best practice to is to never have any computer program (including iPhoto) delete the photos from the card but to import the photos and keep them and then after at least one successful backup cycle has completed and then reformat the card -- I use three very large (32 GB) cards in rotation so I do not reformat for typically a year or more giving me one more long term backup of my photos
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library database

I bought acrobat adobe professtional version II in 2012. Now I re-download this software to my new computer. All info was downloaded. But when I opened the file, I need to verify the serial number. I entered. But it showed up that the serial number is valid, but the qualifying product could not be found. I could not be able to find Ver 11 from the list. What can I do?
The qualifying product is the older version that you owned before you purchased the upgrade to version. It is what qualifies you to use the less expensive upgrade version. So you need to select the older version and provide its serial number to prove that you qualify for using the upgrade.
