Unable to change credit card number in itunes

I'm on the Edit Payment Information page in itunes attempting to update my credit card. Because I'm on a new PC the system wants me to verify the expiration date of the card and the security card. However, I am unable to do this because the card itunes has on file is very old and expired. I have been unable to find a way to add a new card. Please tell me how I can purge the old card info and add a new card.

Do you get the 'none' option on the screen so that you can remove the old card, and then add the new card from scratch ?

Sorry to be a trouble, But I can't change my credit card # (because BBapps will not allow me to log on to control panel to do so. Made the mistake as a 1st timer to assume would ask for credit card number after I purchased Documents to Go.
Did not ask, but charged the purchase to the CDMA number from former owner of my BBS2. I then erased the downloaded Docuiments to Go as I was not intending to charge some one else's card. I am more than willing to pay for the Documents to Go app on my own credit card, the problem is getting to it. I don't intend to have Blackberry service, but surely this does not prevent paying for and down loading programs for my device, If I will wipe the device without a new CDMA number I suspect that will not allow me to to offer a credit card number and get the Documents to Go program as well as others. Why is it impossivle to buy programs for a blackberry without a blackberry service contract for a CDMA number? This really seems very rigid since the BBS2 is so long out of date. There must be plenty of individuals that are doing this who had the wisdom to give a credit card number when they registered - I did not realize this was required as I routinely buy things on the net AND THEN give CREDIT CARD # to compelete the purchase. Is this some sort of Catch 22 situation ?
I like this phone and don't want to give it up. If necessary, I will buy a second BBS2 and try to register that WITH A CREDIT CARD number so that I Can use this machine. This an endless Catch 22? I don't want a CDMA service that is very hard to get outside the USA.
Can I register my BBS2 if I have a T-Mobile plan for the CDMA number (which I will never use and for which I will pay for programs with a separate credit card number ?). ? Otherwise I have a wonderful piece of junk because of arbitraty and rigid rules that are also preventing Blackberry profits as well as App producer profits . If I can't solve this, I will have to re-examine whether I want this machine that I still really like.

the itunes will not allow me to change my credit card number it takes the acct #, the date but the four numbers on my american express are frozen.

I am stuck with a similar problem. I moved from Ireland to the UK but for some reason, iTunes would not let me change the country in my payment information, it remains Ireland. I do not have any credit to spend and I still cannot change it. I even set up a new iTunes account and the country still remains uncangable. Hence, I cannot add the details of my UK card as iTunes believes it is set in Ireland. Have you managed to solve your problem?

Unable to Change Credit Card Info After Several Attempts Online, Phone, and Chat

To whom it may concern,
I have repeatedly tried to change my credit card info for billing purposes.
After several attempts, and phone calls telling me that it would take several weeks, it is still unchanged.
This is such a simple task, yet so impossible with your company. It shouldn't take this long.
The phone support staff are so scripted and unable to implement only the most basic tasks and simply repeat what i can look up myself online.
The Chat process is so painfully slow and difficult it is quite useless.
You would think a software company would be able to accomplish such a common task with no problem.
EXTREMELY disappointed in Adobe Customer Service options.
For the 5th time, who can I contact that can tell me how and when this will be changed?
Good grief.

What is even more frustrating to the absolutely useless chat function, is that when you talk to phone support they either give you a link to a page of how to update your credit card info or simply read that to you and guide you through something you can do yourself.
And that is where it ends… #awful

I have closed an old checking account and would like to use my new one with my current iTunes alias. Is that possible? Can I switch them or do I absolutely have to switch to a new user name and have to switch between accounts to play my purchased music?

No, you can change your account information. Trust me, it's the best way to do it, since any music you've purchased would become unauthorized when you change your iD.
Just go to iTMS and click on your username in iTunes in the upper right corner. That will take you to your account & where you need to go to change your checking account info.

The big challenge in this sort of application is key management, not the actual encryption. Ensuring that the key is available for the system to be able to automatically decrypt the data without allowing users to force the database to do this decryption is a rather challenging task. In addition to encrypting the data and determining how to securely store the key, I would look into fine-grained access control (FGAC) and fine-grained auditing (FGA) as well to limit the ability of users to retrieve the encrypted text and to audit the retrieval when it does happen.
Of course, I'm assuming that you have already configured Oracle Advanced Security to encrypt the database session communication, otherwise you'll end up sending the data over the wire in the clear.

What happens when you try to change your card details ?
You should be able to change your payment details on your computer's iTunes by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I have looked everywhere in the Apple system to get instructions to change my Credit Card number for iTunes Match. I found the instructions on how to change my payment information in the iTunes Store Account but when I follow those instructions, they are not correct. What happened is that I had to cancel my credit card and my bank issued a new credit card andin the meantime, Apple tried to renew my iCloud account and it was rejected because I had not changed my credit card information on file. Now I am trying to change my credit card information and I cannot accomplish that task. Can someone help me?

It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
It sounds as if you have already found the method to change your card details, but just to confirm: go to the iTunes Store. Click 'Account' under 'Quick links' at the right. Log in.
Where it says 'Payment Information' click on 'Edit' to the right of it.
You should then be able to enter the correct card details.
Is this not working? Do you get an error message?
