Unable to download msn email

Msn email will not download.  Password is correct.  Intermitant problem that is usually resovled by restarting or syncing.  However thsi time it does not help.

You are trying to download one the messaging apps in the app store?  If so, you need your normal valid apple id and password.  If you are tryingto download it from somewhere notmthe app store, it is not going to work.  Apps need to come from the app store.

  • I am unable to open some emails from an exchange server.

    Since I updated to iOS7 I have been unable to download most emails from a work exchange server. In most cases it appears to be downloading the message yet nothig appears after a lenghty wait.

    A reset of the device is a good first step:
    Hold the home button + the lock button for about 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  You will not lose any data or current settings.
    If you have already done this and it didn't resolve the issue, try remove the email accound and then re-add it.

  • Trying to download MSN messenger please help

    I have just bought a Mac book Pro and am clueless on how to use it. I am also useless on computers and have no idea what I'm doing.
    I have been trying to download Lime wire and MSN messenger but have been told I need to download a compression file. I downloaded Stuffit Expander but I still am unable to download MSN and Limewire. It simply says:
    "The Limewirewin.ex does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is adviced that you obtain further information about the contents of this file from the sender or provier of the file."
    No idea what this means please help me, and make it simple please!!!

I clicked on that, but when I went to open the file and start downloading after about 3 minutes into downloading it says an error had occurred. Can anyone help me?

    I am a little worried. If you are an existing subscriber why would Adobe need you to download... I wonder if the message is a fake.
    I'm not clear, if you've had it for a year, whether you need to download, or you are just following the email?
    This page with the icon to download now. Was it a page on adobe.com ?

    Hi. Welcome to the forums.
    To be honest, there would not really be a clash between the products you've mentioned, because the online system using Norton is a server system and actioned before any download. There is possibly an option in BTNetprotect for "email scanning" or similar. This option can be turned off in the general case, since disk writes are covered anyway,
    Have you tried another browser (e.g. Firefox, Opera or Safari) to see if the same conditions exist ?
    Is there any particular error message or delay you are seeing ?

  • Unable to download emails. No signon.remember line in prefs.js file

    i have 4 email accounts in mozilla thunderbird. unable to download or send emails. looks as through the passwords for all 4 accounts are deleted.
    Could not locate user_pref("signon.rememberSignons", false); in the prefs.js file.

    Item 1. The ability to access gmail in a browser proves only one thing. You know the password. Nothing else.
    Item 2. Your reference to the prefs.js file sounds like your reading instructions for Versions prior to 1 whewn the config editor was introduced.
    Item 3. General internet browsing in done on ports 80 and 443 (SSL) Mail is done on Ports 110, 995, 143, 993, 25, 26,587 and 465. So being able to browse the internet does not mean that Thunderbird can get out there.
    Item 4. Crist1 is correct that Thunderbird will ask for a password if it is required. The fact it is not indicates it is not even getting out to the internet.
    Now the common reasons Gmail stops working are.
    a) Two factor authentication is enabled at Googles behest but no application password is generated for Thunderbird. They forget to tell people that bit.
    b) You do not have "access for less secure apps" enabled in your gmail profile.
    c) IMAP or POP access has been disabled in the gmail profile.
    d) Your anti virus is blocking mail because it has decided to. Disable email scanning or better still reboot into Windows safe mode with networking and see if it works then
    e) Anti virus /Firewall is blocking Thunderbird or the ports needed to access mail.
    f) New modem / Router / wifi extender that blocks ports that the old one did not.

    I am unable to download the premier elements 13 program. After putting in  the required code it gave a serial number and started to download but has stopped 20 % way through and wont restart.     I have seen "Arvato bertelsman" described online as a "3rd party vendor". The only two program's that I have seen for extraction of the file with the actual program have been
    Adobe Application Manager and Akami. So, I have no idea how Arvato bertelsman factors in your purchase at your local Australian retain shop. And, I have not seen that email
    address either.
    I am not sure this will work but try to contact Adobe Chat and determine if its representative can help you or direct you to a department who can. These days Adobe Chat support
    seems limited for Premiere Elements, and it seems to be referring users to Ask the Community which is us (user to user). Let us give this a try...click on the following link

    Another possibility....if you have a purchased serial number...download and install the Premiere Elements 13 tryout from the following web site and then insert you purchased
    serial number in them at installation. See if that works.

    If you have an old ID in Settings>iCloud as a result of updating to iOS 7, to change it you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change (you should need to verify the old account).  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    If you have two-step verification turned on, turn that off, then try it again.

    You can't download music via Safari on the iPad - you will need to download it on your computer, add it to your computer's iTunes, and then sync it to the iPad.

    You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

  • Why does it take all day for my msn email to download on my iphone5?

    Lately, for the past month or so my MSN email takes up to a day to download new messages. It will check for new mail the say downloading and there it will stay all day. Sometimes I power it off and the mail populates but often it doesn't.  Any ideas why this is happening or is there something I can do to fix it?.

    Almost right. While a ADSL2, T1, Fibre Optics etc would give you a faster connection it is way overkill and a far greater expense. Just ask your ISP for a faster DSL/Cable connection. You are probably below a 3meg connection. You will want a 3meg or greater connection. And that will make your stuff download faster. The Apple TV likes a 3meg or greater connection.

    Since yesterday I am unable to download the Flex Builder plugin for eclipse, having tried all the combinations of Language/OS available for this product, browsers and two different PCs at my home.

    Using the link above the case is always the same no matter what browser/computer. After the "Download" button is pressed the website "freezes" for about 30 seconds, then it refreshes and soon an email message arrives with the title

    Furthermore when I visit a link provided in the email Getting Started - Flex 3 Getting Started - Adobe Learning Resources, all the hyperlinks such as Watch, Full Tutorial, Download Project, PHP and Java will simply redirect me to the very same page (i.e. the one provided in this sentence).

  • I am unable to download certain PDFs from a website

    My job requires me to log on to a secure website and click on links to download pdf files. When I click on the links, the firefox opens a new tab, but that tab is blank. When I "right click" on the link and select "save link as" from the menu, the file is recognized as a php file and not pdf and I am unable to download it in a readable form. I have tried opening these files in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari and none of them work. However, the files download for other people with the same version of Mac as me without a problem.
    I have tried changing the preference for PDF to Adobe Reader in the preference>application window as suggested by other online forums and this does not help.
    I am able to download these same files from an email attachment which has been the temporary solution. Other pdf links from other websites don't download, but pop-up in a tab of the browser and I am able to view them. The IT guy said that he made the file so that it could only be downloaded for security reasons. I don't know if this is a reason why I am having problems with this particular kind of pdf, but not others. However, I'm not sure why I am having the problem, but not other people.
    I have a MacBook Pro version 10.6.8 and I have firefox 21.0. My Adobe Reader is 11.0.03.

    In order to uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please do the following:

    #Once the Add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the ''Extensions'' button on the left side of the window.

    #To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click the ''Remove'' button on PDF Viewer (what is this?). You should see a message that informs you about the successful removal of the add-on.
    #Note that some add-ons require a Firefox restart to be removed completely. To perform a Firefox restart after the add-on removal, click the ''Restart now'' link in the message.
