Do you have the SSL module loaded/enabled in PHP ?
Call the "phpinfo()" function in a PHP page and check that the SSL module is correctly configured. You should see something similar to the following messages:

  • Business Server exception: attempt to establish connection failed.

    Hi.
I'm a total newbie to the BPA Suite, but I have experience with other tool sets like MEGA. I've downloaded and installed an evaluation copy of version 10.1.3.4 of the tool.
I'm working through the Business Process Architect Quick Start Guide, going through the sample Quote to Cash process. Everything is progressing relatively well as I go through the document (except that the QuoteToCash project is already loaded in the LOCAL business repository without me having to load it separately), until I get to the first simulation.
When I go to the Simulation module, I get an error: "Server access exception: Business Server exception: attempt to establish connection failed."
I don't know what's wrong, but there are a couple of things I'm thinking about. One is that I didn't install XE separately, so I think that I'm just using the default Oracle Lite instance that gets installed with the tool. Another is that my account is configured without administrator privileges, so I generally have to run installers as a separate user with administrator privileges to get things to work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

It might be bad form to answer your own question, but after further experimentation, I think that it's a permissions problem.
I repeated the installation on another (virtual) machine on an account that is an administrator, and I can simulate the Process Order process as described in the Quick Start Guide to my heart's content.
Now, the second machine isn't configured exactly the same as the first machine, so there could be other underlying or contributing factors. But I'm un-stuck for now.
I just thought I'd share what I found. Thanks.

  • RFC Exception COMMUNICATION_FAILURE with Message RFC destination RFC does n

Hi all , i did a small application in webdynpro abap  by calling BAPI . MY application  is when i enter the studentid and click the submit button i shoutl get student details .
but when i'm clicking the submit button i'm gettting the error
"RFC Exception COMMUNICATION_FAILURE with Message RFC destination RFC does not exist. Occurred " can any one help me out.

    hi rajeev.....
i am sure that you would have used service call.
in service call, in the destination part, you would have given a name. the service call automatically creates a destination in this name. but your user id would not have had that rights. so only you get this error. either use a already existing destination or get the access for that.

  • Error Message "Connection failed" appears periodically

    Hello
Several times daily the following error message (translated roughly from German) appears on a MacBook Pro with 10.6:
    Network Connection
The connection failed, because the communication device is not available. Make sure that it is connected to your computer and try again to establish a connection.
    http://homepage.mac.com/peewee/misc/ncf.jpg
I remember this icon from the app Network-Connection in previous versions of OS X, but it is not on that Mac anymore or i can't find it.
How can I get rid of this Message? Ethernet and Airpot networks work fine. The mac was never set up to use a modem or a cellphone network connection, at least not intendedly.
    PeeWee

The message is not specific to a modem connection. The computer thinks your primary network device is down. Maybe it's renewing a DHCP lease or there's some other issue. Check your network devices order in the Network Preferences panel to be sure the device you're using is the top one in the list.

  • Uncaught exception dealing with my SMS

Hey I keep haveing a problem my SMS or my folder that has all of them isn't there anymore should I backup and restore everything to solve it?

    Hi there!
There's pretty much no diagnosing uncaught exceptions -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
There might be an updated code set from the carrier -- check them via this portal:
     http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, one must remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Uncaught Exception Error with GMail on 8330

    Hi there,
Just installed GMail application (part of the Google set of applications) after setting up my BB email as the GMail account which is not affected.  There were no problems downloading and installing the GMail app on my BlackBerry Curve 8330 and now I cannot access the GMail account app due to the following error message:
    Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessException
Any ideas why I have this error?
What can be done to resolve this issue.  The BB mail account is fine, just the GMail app is the problem.
    Thanks for assistance...
    Lynn

    Hello again,
I have hopefully solved the problem.  I read some other posts that mentioned a new software installation might be causing an issue.  I ended up removing Bing, the Curve restarted, GMail now works!
Just in case someone has an issue.

    Yes I've tried different galleries
So, the problem is NOT unique to the specific server you are trying to connect to? In other words, you have tried different servers, with different credentials, and can't connect to any of them? Is that correct?
Can Lr connect to the internet in the map module?
In other words, unless somebody comes along who has the answer, or re-installing helps.., it seems worthwhile to isolate the problem, is it:
    * Lightroom/plugins can't connect to the internet?
    * FTP is broken?
    * FTP to a specific server is broken?
Or did I misunderstand, and you've only tried FTP to one server? - if so, it could be that there was some change at the server end, like it now requires a different port or something..
If you want to try another server, you can get a free account at Flickr, for example, and try to upload via FTP..

  • Display remains on with message "Connected"

I have enabled hard disk mode in my 120 GB iPod. Whenever I connect it to the PC, it will display the "Connected" message and the display will stay permanently on until I disconnect the iPod. I'm afraid this could damage the display, because the screen saver never kicks in and the display never turns off and keeps displaying the same message all the time. I'm worried because I wish to use my iPod connected in this way for several hours every day.
Is there anything I can do about this?

    Hi,
You say you tried both an nVidia card and an ATI - you haven't got both sets of drivers on your HD at the same time, have you. If you have - this is not a good idea. I'm assuming that your problems occur as Windows is booting?
Also, make sure your drivers (for your chosen VGA) are up to date.
Flashing the BIOS means that some of your previous settings will have been reset to the board's original values - you may have to go through them and adjust them as necessary - to your previous configuration. Make sure that PnP OS is switched off and APIC is enabled.
If APIC was enabled during your OS install and it's (now) switched off - You'll have difficulties with the Windows boot process!

  • Firefox has been strongly suggesting I update, which I've tried, but I just get the "barber pole" wait with message "connecting to the update server" for hours and nothing happens

Firefox has been suggesting I update my software for a few weeks now. I happily click on "update now" and my Mac appears to be trying to connect to the update server. The window displays "Downloading Firefox" and the barber pole wait bar is moving. I've done this 5-6 times, for HOURS at a time, and nothing happens.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
    * Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
    * Install the new version that you have downloaded
