Undelivered full order qty but order status is completed

Hi,
I have 2 Orders wherein the order qty was not fully delivered but the overall status of the order is completed.  It is no longer in open order report.  i check the Cust MD, it is not requiring complete delivery. The order has no delivery or billing block, no reason for rejection, no credit block. There was no history of changes made to the order. The system did not do automatic availability check to propose delivery date for the balance so there was no additional schedule lines.
Please help me analyze other cause of this.

Hi,
Please confirm me whether this is Third party sales order with BOM items are there in the order.
If yes, in this case eventhough partially delivered then order status should be completed. There is no standard functionality is not there for this case. You have to  changes the order status to being procesed.
confirm the same. I will suggest how to do it.

  • Apple Hardware Test (AHT) Hard Drive Full Read Fail But SMART Status OK

    I have a Mac mini Server from Mid 2010 running Snow Leopard Server.
    Ocassionally, it'll freeze up with the spinning beachball wheel for a few minutes. This usually happens when opening an app or performing an app function from the menu bar. It's a pretty clean system—there are not many apps installed.
    I suspect it's a hadrware issue. I ran Disk Utility's Permission and Disk Repair. All good. SMART Status is verified. So I ran the Apple Hardware Test. Everything passes except for the Hard Drive's "Full Read"—it fails because "Reading took longer than the average time". The Hard Drive "Short .. test" and "Check SMART Status" pass.
    Does anyone have an idea of what's going on here? Is the hard drive the issue? I don't understand how there can be a read issue (or hard drive issue), when the SMART Status is verfied.

    S.M.A.R.T isn't perfect. Neither is AHT for that matter, but if it is reporting that reading is taking longer than it should then an impending failure is likely. The occasional "wait cursor" appearance supports that diagnosis.
    Consider yourself fortunate in that you still have the ability to back up anything important, and you can plan a convenient time for its replacement.

    We found out (note 862814 ) that mrp does not manage minimum order quantities right (see below).

    Description of requirements:

    MRP Wizard yields unexpected result.
    For an item having Minimum Stock 4 and having only two item in stock MRP suggests only two items for
    purchase though Minimum order Qty. is 3.
    From my point of view this result is wrong.

    Business needs:
    As there are hundreds of items to be ordered at the vendors, it is almost impossible to control the Minimum order Qty. Ordering non adequate quantities results in bad prices! This should be a basic function in MRP.
    Examples:
    For an item having Minimum Stock 4 and having only two items in stock MRP suggests only two items for
    purchase though Minimum order Qty. is 3.
    Current Workaround:
    Laborious control of every Purchase order from MRP suggestion.
    Proposed solution:
    MRP should recognize Minimum order Qty. Best it could be set individually if Minimum order Qty is recognized or not.

    did you define default warehouse for items?
    If it is true: did you select the default warehouse for the MRP process? Did you select another warehouse?
    If you select another warehouse (not default) the behavior is correct.

    Like for example let us assume two cases.
    Case 1:- order less than Fixed order qty (Fixed order qty =50 and the FIxed lot multiplier =50)
    Let us assume that we have set Fixed order qty equal to 50. We have a physical order of 40 then still MRP will place a order of 50 only. In case of tumhi snagaSame is the case of Fixed lot multiplier it will place a order of 50
    Case 2:- order greater than Fixed order qty (Fixed order qty =50 and the FIxed lot multiplier =50)
    Let us assume that we have set Fixed order qty equal to 50. We have a physical order of 60 then still MRP will place a order of 50 twice. Same is the case of Fixed lot multiplier it will place a order of 100.
    eventually we are doing the same in both the case so what is the exact differnece.

    Ours is a MTO (81).
    In Scheduling Agreement / Sale Order , there are multiple schedule lines for a single item .
    Production Orders are generated for every schedule line of the Item.
    The client wants to know (for a custom developed report) , against which schedule line of the Sched Agreement/ Sale Order, the Production Order is generated ?
    This Information can be seen in MD04.But  I am not able to fetch from the tables .
    The schedule line field (KDEIN ) is not updated in AFPO table & the order no (AUFNR) is not updated in VBEP table .

  • How to restart WorkItem if the status is completed

    Due to my mistake in PRD not in DEV i changed the WI status from started to completed.
    Now i have 110 WI affected and i dont know how to restart them, or make them finish normaly the right path.
    In the LOG i can see: Execution was ignored (work item has final status)
    Area: SWF_RUN

    Resetting the status of a completed workitem? I think it is not possible , because you can reset the status of a workitem which is in in process state to ready state or the workitem which is in error state( May be not sure) but the status of completed workitem , not possible, because the workitem will not be in any of the users inbox.
    But will let you  know , if there is any possiblity
    Check this error when I tried to reset the status of workitem which is completed by using the FM
    SAP_WAPI_SET_WORKITEM_STATUS
    Status change from COMPLETED to READY is not allowed/possible

    the above problem is sorted with help of workflow and basis consultant as in SWU3 RFC destination was not enabled,
    as now it is enabled, workflow is getting triggered but after creating distribution package it is generating error saying no receipient found,
    the mail is not reaching the SAP INBOX,
    Kindly let me know whether i missing any config.

  • Sales Order Qty Confirmation Issue

    I have created the order form my material with quantity of 10 units. The total unrestricted stock available for the material is only 5 units.
    When I look at the schedule lines, the total order qty is confirmed even though the short of 5 unit of stock. 
    I was confused here.  By right, the order should only confirm the 5 unit with respect the stock availability. But I don’t understand why system has
    Confirmed the 10 units completely. 
    If my understanding is correct, the sales order has to confirm the sales order based on the stock. In later stage, once the stock is up, we need create the
    Schedule line for the remaining qty by re-do the availability check function.  
    Could you please someone correct me on this order confirmation logic !!

    Order is a normal (Type: OR) Trade order. And there is no consignment stock maintained for this material. 
    In MMBE, I can see only unrestricted stock exist for this material. 
    Please confirm whether my material setup is correct. 
    It is usual vanilla setup. 
    My doubt is that how come the order item has been confirmed with excess qty and system allows us to create the delivery as well.
    Firstly, on what basis the order full qty has confirmed. 
    Please advice.

  • Sales order qty not confirmed when delivery done with partial qty

    We have issue in drop shipment scenario process. Sales order created with 10 line items from CRM and order released from CRM and replicated order to ECC and backend created PR also. After that user set reject status for all items so that PR line items also deleted, again user released rejection status for all items and line items updated in the same PR with different line item number for materials then PO & GR also done in ECC and stock also allocated for sales order line items but still sales order qty not confirmed in CRM sales order. 
    I checked all configurations regarding availability check but could not found.
    Example:
         Sales order line item qty: 4            -      2 qty confirmed (delivered).
         For remaining qty (2 items)I have done GR. After GR It is allocated to sales order but it is not confirming the order quantity.
    plz help me to fix this issue?

    Hi,
    Please check In ERP transaction OVZJ, for the sales org, distribution channel, and division that is being used in the affected sales orders, set the Avail. Check Rule to 'E'. Then retest the issue, as this might help.

    i have created a sales order with suppersession material  for 2 qty and we deliver only 1 qty to customer.
    now i want change the sales order qty 1 so that status gets completed.
    but in VA02 material qty is in hidden mode cant possible to make changes. this is happening with suppersession material only.

    when we create order suppersession material entered with item cat. TAPA which generate automated second line item cat TAN. when we make delivery TAN gets copied in the DO and Billing afterthat.
    but issue is once delivery created. in VA02 order oty field (KWMENG)  become in grey mode. cant possible make any changes ?
    i have checked both the item categories completion rule which is (not relevent for completion)

  • Confirmation of the production order qty equal to sales order qty

    Hi Experts,
    I need to control the confirmation of the production order should be equal to sales order qty.
    I'm having the scenario as follows
    If sale order qty for X material = 3
    while running the MRP, system will plan the order qty as 8 because of we maintained rounding profile in the Material master and enhancement we used for this.
    Rounding Profile Qty=5
    Total Production Order Qty=8.
    But, finally they will do the GRN for sales order qty only, remaining will be used for testing purpose.
    So, the confirmation also has to happen for only sales order qty. There, we need to control the qty based on the sales order.
    Is there any exit or Enhancement is available for this.
    Please help me.

    Exit for confirmation check is CONFPP04.
    However, opening orders for quantities higher than demand and leaving pieces undelivered and unconfirmed in production orders does not make sense. I could not get the requirement of incresing production quantity by adding rounding value? Moreover, if rounding is to be used for test purposes, why not do you receive them into stock? Why don't you receive 8 pieces into stock, deliver 3 pieces to sales order and transfer 5 pieces to related department?
    If it is because of MRP and you really do not want to produce extra 5 piece immediately, you may use material reservation or any other form of demand for 5 pieces, use EX for lot size calculation and have MRP create two planned orders for sales order and testing requirement, then you can convert planned order for sales order requirement into production order and continue processing.

  • Order Related Billing - Overall Status B after billing

    We have changed billing relevance of our order related billing item category to B (Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty) and the copy control to the billing document to E (Goods receipt quantity less invoiced quantity).
    This now allows us to bill these sales orders based on the GR and not wait on the IR.
    However, how can we control the overall status of the sales order item billed? When billed partially, the overall status is set to B (Being Processed).
    I see no process, except changing order quantity which will set this overall status to C.
    I see COMPLETION RULE but after setting this and completing billing, the overall status is still BEING PROCESSED. I assume this is because the copy control from sales document to billing document does not have an 'update document flow' option.
    Is the solution a custom routine in the copy control?

    the system behavior is correct. in a purely order-billing scenario, the status remains as "being processed" because you have not completely billed the item, and there are quantities that are still to be invoiced.
    if the open balance is no longer to be billed, in general we "reject" the open items.  this action completes the line item status.  if there are no other line items in the order, the entire document will also be completed.
    i think you have a third party transaction.  when you say "partially billed", are you referring to quantities invoiced based on GR, which may be less than the order quantity?  if so, rejecting open quantities in the sales order should complete the order.

    this problem is similar to the thread [SRM-SUS Purchase Order Response always "In Status"; which has been not finally responded.
    My problem exists in an environment without SUS.
    When a buyer confirms a PO response (POR) without any change, the system generates a new PO response with status "In process".  This new POR has also to be confirmed or rejected but the system generates again a new PO response with status "In process".
    So we have a very nice loop for the purchaser without escape!
    We are on SRM 7.0 SP07. The other thread mentioned that SAP will create some OSS notes, but I found nothing about this problem.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Gurus.
    I want to share my experience with this case.
    We have the same scenario, Confirm PO, the result is PO confirmed, but we receive a response from ECC and this Confirmed PO changes its status to "In Process" / "En Tratamiento".
    The new relevant information is that we added 2 new fields to the item PO, these fields are filled ok and sent to ECC.
    In a first time these new fields were lost due to the response from ECC. To avoid this situation I implemented the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for BUS2230, and method BBP_SUSPO_CHANGE to copy from the BBP_PDISC (Object BUS2230) rows the values to the new rows in the same table BBP_PDISC (Object BUS2201).
    With this change the new documents are confirmed directly and not changed to "In Process"/ "En tratamiento".
    That was my experience, now I have a question...
    In the correct business process for SAP SRM SUS  when you confirm full a PO...
    * this will be blocked or no?
    * Can be modified the confirmed items?
    * This depends of customizing?
