UOM from vendor catalog changed!

Hi all,
SRM 5.0 ECS.
We have the UOM for one of our catalog vendors changed from TU to TB(tube). We need to map the changes in SRM system as vendor has no control oevr UOM.Now for the new PO's do I need to chanhge the UOM in CUNI in both ECC as well as SRM or just chnage at runtime through the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER??
Also there are some PO's whihc are alreayd created with the old UOM i.e. TU...How do I change the UOM in these PO's???Do I need to even change the UOM in these PO's ??Will I be able to change the UOM in these old PO's consideringthat for some of them the follwon docs have alreday been created(Fully paid PO's!)
If I am able/unable to change the UOM in these old PO's will it cause any issues when closing some of these PO's?
Please advise.Thanks!

Hi
The custom mapping table is a better option. You can make the table vendor specific, by adding a 'Vendor' field in the table. If 'Vendor' = 'X' and UOM = 'a' then UOM is changed from 'a' to 'b'. For all other Vendors (except X), UOM is changed from 'a' to 'e'. Refer sample table entries below:
'Vendor'       'Input UOM'     'Output UOM'
X                        a                     b
null                     a                     e
This custom table can be designed to work as a condition table with access sequence.

  • Wrong vendor selection while shopping from vendors catalog

    Hi,
Shopping cart has been created visiting vendors catalog but system created shopping cart on wrong vendor. This issue is not frequent but need to analysis/fix.
For example, selected the items in Dell catalog but in shopping cart the vendor is CDW.
Will appreciate your help if any one have faced such issue. We are on SRM 7.0.
    Thanks
    Jayashree.

    Hi Jayashree,
Please check the supplier number under : Strategic Purchasing --> Business partner in purchaser log in for which you want to create the SC from catalog and assign that number of supplier to catalog item in data manager.
    this will solve your issue.

  • Dropping first product from vendor punch-out catalog

    Hi,
We are having classic scenario implemented with GOA on SRM server 5.5 and support pack 9 with CCM2.0.
Currently we are facing an issue for one vendor punch-out catalog. When we are choosing multiple products from vendor catalog,it is dropping first product and bringing remaining products in the shopping cart. We have checked OCI mapping , it looks fine . I have also checked all configuration for catalog call structure. Can anyone answer what could probable reason for this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Importing from another catalog hangs up at "Checking for changed duplicate photos" in LR 4.3

Importing from another catalog hangs up at "Checking for changed duplicate photos" in LR 4.3.
I went on a vacation so exported a subset of my main LR catalog on my PC so I could do some work on my laptop.  I added some new photos and also editied some olde ones.
Now that I am back home, when I ty to Import from the smaller catalog into my Main Catalog on my PC, the Import from catalog process gets immediately stuck on the step "Checking for changed duplicate photos.'
How can I work around this?
Is this a new bug in 4.3?
    Thanks.
    John

Yes, the catalogs were optimized, but...the master catalog on my desktop is
    HUGE.  I mean...really, really, HUGE.
So, that probably explains the very long time it took?
But...I was confused at first, and really did think that LR was 'stuck'
while importing from the smaller catalog and "Checking for changed duplicate
    photos".
Next time, I'll just be more patient.
And...in the end, everything went as it should, and I now have all my edits
and new photos incorporated into my HUGE catalog on my desktop.

  • XSRF error when returning to SRM from external catalog

    Hello,
We recently applied support package stack 19 to our SRM 5.0 development system, and after doing so found that some of our configured catalogs began producing an XSRF error when attempting to populate the SRM shopping cart with items from the catalog. The symptoms encountered are practically identical with those described in Note 1615697 ("Return to SRM application from Catalogs result in Dump"). This error did not occur prior to applying support packages.
In an effort to resolve the problem, we applied the following Notes that described the same or similar symptoms:
1551982: Cross Site Request Forgery Protection for stateless BSP
1596088: frequent dumps in ITS services
    1607780: Update #5 to security note 1522651
1613427: ITS Services lead to XSRF Dumps
1615697: Return to SRM application from Catalogs result in Dump
1619323: Frequent Dump issue in ITS
1621525: Dump in Vendor list service
1629031: BBP_BACKGROUND_APPROVAL service results in dump
1632110: Quotation search help fields results in a Dump
1634612: Frequent Dump issue in ITS in Search screens
1650207: BBP_POC service results in XSRF dump
    1658516: Applets sheitern an XSRF-Schutz (COOKIE_NOT_FOUND)
1675491: ITS: CALL BROWSER and termination of a session
This did result in some of our catalogs working that previously were dumping, but we are still having issues with at least two and possibly other catalogs. These are external vendor catalogs using the OCI interface.
The error occurs at the time of transmitting items from the catalog back into the SRM shopping cart. The catalog screen is replaced with an error screen with the messages "The URL https://<<our SRM dev system>>:/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc03/ was not called due to an error" and "A:ITS_P:019 XSRF no sec_sesstoken". The shopping cart in the SRM system is lost after this error occurs. No short dump is recorded, but the SM21 system log records the ITS_P 019 error against tcode BBPSC03, program SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS.
Most of our catalogs, internal and external, are fine after applying the Notes. Just two external vendor catalogs still exhibit this error.
I experimented with adding a new parameter after the Return URL in the catalog configuration in SPRO with name = ~SAP_SESSTOKEN, value = `SAP_SESSTOKEN`, and type = SAP Field, based upon Note 1481392, but this did not make any change in the behavior.
I have patched the kernel (7.00) to pl335 (pl310 is delivered with sps19).
Anyone else having this sort of issue?
    Best regards,
    Matt

    Hello All,
We got a requirement to update the Contract or purchase order with new partners from vendor  master.
In brief the partner information of a  PO when created with reference to a contract  will be reflected from the contract but not from Vendor Master partners .So when the vendor master got changed after the creation of the Contract the partner information in the PO is not in synchronous with Vendor Master partnes.
Hence please help us with any BAPI to update the PO partners with Vendor masters .

  • We are using SAP SRM to punch out external catalogs. Firefox version 3.5 and below works fine and the items from the catalogs are brought back to SRM .But when we use version 3.6.12 the items are not getting transferred back to SRM from the Catalogs.

SRM is a procurement system from SAP which we use to purchase goods and service. We have external catalogs like officemax, cdw etc which we punchout the items and bring it to SRM for ordering.
When we use firefox version 3.5 and below the items which we add from the Catalogs are correctly brought back to SRM for us to order. But when we use versions 3.6.12 the items are not brought back to SRM.
Internet Explorer 7 and 8 works fine. Is there anyway you can help us.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Firstly I would suggest you to upgrade your database from Oracle Release 11.2.0.1.0 to Oracle Release 11.2.0.2 . This is the recommended Oracle 11g database version  for SAP solutions. Many of your problem will get resolved with it.
    Question 1:
So my first question would be is there any other suggestions besides adjusting the mentioned parameter above in order to ensure that no work processors going into hang state due to RFCs' occupying it as this issue always happens at the end of the month only when there are massive users accessing it.
For immediate resolution the approach you have followed is correct viz limiting number of dialog processes for RFC. Secondly you need to analyze why RFC processing takes so much time. You need check which programs are getting executed by those RFC.
Generate EarlyWatch report for more detailed view
    Question 2:
My second question is what went wrong with the libttsh11.so file. How could it be 0 size in PRD when no signs of changes had happen to the PRD system. Is this a proven Oracle Bug or something else since I have never encountered anything like this before.
The libttsh11.so library cannot be found in the related directory.
    Cause
The file system is mounted using CIO option, but per Note 257338.1 Direct I/O (DIO) and Concurrent I/O (CIO) on AIX 5L, an ORACLE_HOME on a filesystem mounted with "cio" option is not supported.
Such a configuration will cause, installation, relinking and other unexpected problems.
    Solution
Disable the CIO option on the filesystem.

  • How BBPUPDVD determines vendor master change in ECC?

    Hi Experts,
How is the vendor master change in ECC captured and what is the strategy/check that the BBPUPDVD transaction OR vendor update report uses/does in ECC to pick up the updated vendor with qualified fields for transmission?
Qualified fields -> Purchasing block, curr change, comm method change, etc.
For e.g, if a vendor is blocked for a P.Org today and if we either execute BBPUPDVD OR vendor update job, so how does it determine the change in vendor master in ECC?
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hello Karthik,
just to complete what wrote Konstantin, those change documents are determined in ECC using CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ function modul inside BBP_SCAN_VD function modul which is called by RFC from SRM (report BBP_VENDOR_SYNC).
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Warning upon transfer of quotation from external catalog to SRM

    Hello,
We have implemented a punch-out catalog integration between our catalog and the client's SRM solution. However, we are facing an issue at the last stage of the integration -
Upon transfer of the items from our catalog, SAP throws a warning message to the user - "Source of quotation was deleted in vendor system". This is not the case and we are able to link the quotations to the approved orders that we receive at a later point in time. However, the client is unhappy about the user experience and would like us to fix the warning issue. Any help that you can provide  in either solving this issue or directing us appropriately will be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Please check the fileds which are getting transfer from your site to SRM and also compare the fields recieve from SRM side

    Bot should be same.

  • Can payment terms on AP invoice always defaults from Vendor Master

Can payment terms on AP invoice always defaults from Vendor Master

It defaults from vendor master in the purchase order and that carries forward to invoicing. But you can then change the terms in PO and those terms would be effective for subsequent invoicing.
Just FYI.. master data payment terms in company code segment defaults to FI invoicing, payment terms in purchasing segment defaults to purchasing based invoice (MIRO).
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks.

  • Default Payment terms from Vendor Master not from Reference PO

    Hello guys,
I am creating a PO in reference to another PO and payment terms are copied from the old PO but not updating from Vendor Master. Our payment terms are changed very frequent and our users don't want to create a new PO with too many line items so they just copy an old PO.
IS there a way to update payment terms form Vendor Master after copying an Old PO? I know this is pretty standard functionality but just trying to see if we can trick the system,
    Thanks
    Ronnie.

If so then convert this into an error message ensuring that the correct payment term to appear in the message, that the users need not search themselves and find out for updating the payment term
One thing is that there is no configuration available for you take care of this automatically, there has to be user exit solution.

  • Dispatch Instructions for Direct Supply from Vendor to Customer.

    Dear Experts,
Our Company is Project Industry. We have implmented SAP ECC 6.0 in 2008 with SD, FI, MM, PP, QM, PS, DMS modules.
In our case 70% Deliveries to customer are from direct dispatch from our vendor to Client. Steps are as follows.
    1. Buyer issues PO to vendor for direct dispatch to customer. After readiness of material vendor gives Inspection call to Buyer.
    2. Buyer creates inspection notification using T-code QM01.
    3. Quality department visit the vendors place, inspect the material & clears the inspection notification.
    4. After acceptance of material, Project Execution issues Dispatch instructions to vendor with PO No. & Item details. This is    Outside SAP in MS word.
    5. Vendor Supplies the material to Customer based on dispatch instructions.l
    6. After receipt of dispatch document from vendor, Buyer creates Goods Receipt w.r.t. Purchase order in MIGO. We have Put ABAP check for GR creation to check Accepted Quantity of Inspection notification of that PO line item.
Now our Management wants to Implement above Step No. 4 of creation of dispatch instructions in SAP.  At the time of creation dispatch instructions, system shall check if inspection notification is created & allow the creation for accepted PO line item quantity in the notification & only after the inspection notification is closed in SAP . Dispatch instructions should have information such as PO No., Line item no., Material Code, Material Description & quantity to be dispatch, Vendor Name, Project Name.
As per my knowledge in Standard SAP Dispatch Instructions Process is not there.
Request you to give your valuable opinion.

dispatch instructions can be put into a long text at header or item level, just depends if they are item specific or apply to all items of the PO.
if you do this after the initial PO creation, then this is a PO change and you can print the PO changes as an extra message and send to your vendor.
checking  if inspection notification is created has  to be  made via user exit.

Please suggest your Valuable input on this.
    Best Regards
    Javeed

    Hi,
1] You can create PIR for that vendor and maintain the required payment term.
This payment term will automatically picked up in PO because highest priority is always given to PIR
2] You can also maintain the payment term in personnel settings
3] Also you can maintain payment term for a particular vendor plantwise. in short if you are raising a PO for a particular vendor from plant say XXX, that payment term for that plant will be automatically picked up in the po. Following is the procedure for the same
    Display vendor
    Go to PURCHASING DATA
    EXTRAS
    ADD PURCHASING DATA
TICK DATA RELEVANT AT PLANT LEVEL ALLOWED
    ENTER
    EXTRAS
    ALTERNATIVE DATA
    CREATE
    ENTER PLANT
    TICK PURCHASING DATA
    ENTER
NOW YOU CAN SEE PLANT BELOW PURCHASING ORG. VG00
    NOW CHANGE PAYMENT TERM.

  • How to replicate R/3 Vendor Master changes to SRM

    Hi Gurus,
We have scheduled the job "BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB " on daily basis, the job is running and updating the new vendor master from R/3 to EBP. But it is not updating the R/3 vendor master changes (E.g. Blocking the Vendor in R/3) are not getting update to R/3.
Please any one can suggest which job we need to schedule for this one. Also I found to report for this one " BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB" and BBP_VENDORS _SYNC", but I am not sure which one needs to setup. Also please suggest me any config needs to be do for this one.
    Your help will greatly appreciated.
    Thanks & regards,
    Sada

    Hi Sada,
AS per  OSS Note 602651 , for SRM 2.0 and SRM 3.0 [ EBP 3.0 and EBP 3.5] SAP provided the  report  BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB and BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB which could be scheduled in background for vendor replication and synchronization in SRM. These reports are equivalent to TCODE BBPGETVD and BBPUPDVD.
Thereafter from SRM 4.0 onwards SAP strategy has been to do one time replication through BBPGETVD and provided different way of synchronizing the replicated vendor. That is based on change object concept, for that it has provided an SPRO Node for Customization.
SPRO->IMG->SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server -> Technical Basic setting -> Settings for Supplier Synchronization
The Customization setting is required before we schedule the synchronization job. The Synchronization job runs the report BBP_VENDOR_SYNC.
    Cheers
