Updating my current Adobe plan

How do I update my currentl Adobe plan so that I'm not paying a fortune for 2 standalone applications. Currenty I am paying £14.29 per month for Acrobat Pro and £14.29 per month for a single app membership (dreamweaver). I've tried to contact someone from Adobe via online chat, but it doesn't seem to work

I just finished an interaction with the chat service. Adobe's like most other companies is a joke. See transcript below. Larges companies hamstring their employees with antiquated procedures.   • How do you update programs in Adobe Creative Cloud?

    I understand that the following applications are now available:
    Lightroom 5.4
    Adobe Raw 8.4
    Premiere Pro 7.22
    However, if I go to any application and to to /Windows/Updates, I get the message: “Your applications are all up-to-date as checked less than a minute ago.”
    Similarly, if I go to Creative Cloud Manager it lists all applications as “up-to-date”.
    My installed programs are currently all earlier versions:
    ·         Lightroom Version: 5.3
    ·         Adobe Photoshop CC Version: 14.2.1 (14.2.1 20140207.r.570 2014/02/07:23:00:00) x64
    ·         Adobe Raw Version 8.3.0.141
    ·         Adobe Premiere Pro CC Version 7.2.1
    I have tried:
    1.  Going to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and  renaming OOBE to OOBE_old followed by downloading the latest version of Adobe Application Manager. This did not result in finding any new updates.
    2.  Changing my browser from Chrome to both Internet Explorer (11.0.9600.1.17041) and then Firefox (28.0) and repeating 1 with no effect.
    3.  Deleting Lightroom and reinstalling it. This worked and I now have Lightroom 5.4 installed.
    4.  Deleting Photoshop  and Bridge and reinstalling them. The original versions were installed rather than the latest version with Raw 8.4.
    5. Downloaded Adobe Raw 8.4 from (http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2011/03/keeping-photoshop-up-to-date.html#notconnected) and tried to launch but get the message: Adobe Application Manager ‘Update Failed  -Updates could not be applied -This patch is not applicable for you. -Please check for updates from the Help menu in your product to see a list of latest updates available.-If the problems persist contact customer support for further assistance."
    I am running Windows 7 64-bit  Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1
    If I go to the Customer Support Chat Line, I am told that I need to be transferred to a “Product Person”. Last time after patiently waiting 45 minutes I gave up.
    Any suggestions as to my next steps?

    Thanks John. I have tried solutions 1 to 3 from (-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.h tml) and they do not work. So I presume that all I can do is to remove all 25 CC applications and start again!
    Incidently, ( http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ ) does not list Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 as an update even though Adobe have announced that it is available (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/04/camera-raw-8-4-and-dng-converter-8-4-now-a vailable.html). The same applies for Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 (http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/premiere-pro-cc-7-2-2.html). If they are not available this would explain why I cannot download them but I am very suprised that Adobe didn't mention this when I contacted them.

    Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
    The current stable version is Download 11.7.700.169.

    How do I open the updates window in "Adobe Application Manager"? Or can I or should I....??
    I am a brand new Cloud member.  I heard of the Retina update.  Assuming this was where the updates would logically appear I went to the "Adobe Application Manager" app first.  Without closing the "Adobe Application Manager" I opened Photoshop and went to the help menu and selected "Updates..."; a second window opened in the already open "Adobe Application Manager".
    I selected update all.
    The result is below:

    Now, I closed the "Adobe Application Manager" and opened "Photoshop" again and again selected "Updates..." from the help menu.  The "Adobe Application Manager" opened again with just one window this time and the updates happened correctly.
    I was hoping one of the updates would be to the "Adobe Application Manager", I don't think so.
    So, If I were you I wouldn't select "Updates..." from an Adobe app unless the "Adobe Application Manager" is closed until they fix it...
    Current version: Adobe® Application Manager - Version 7.0.0.128 (7.0.0.128) Note the Two windows in the "Adobe Application Manager" in the attached image.

    The updates are currently available by going to Help>Updates within the Application.  Once you invoke the Updater, which is a component of the Adobe Application Manager, it will locate and apply the updates.  It looks like most of your updates have failed to install.  I would recommend you begin by trying to apply the updates that are available on our product update page at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and seeing if you face the same difficulty.
    If you continue to experience problems with applying the updates then please review your installation log to determine the cause of the failure.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

    Need help in downloading and installing the current Adobe Reader version! I am running Windows Vista. I receive an error message that the current version is trying to update version 8.1. During the install efforts, the program locks up @ the 96% complete. Any ideas?

  • 9.2.0 Upgrade (CPSID_50026) "Files in Use" - "Some files that need to be updated are currently in use" "Program Manager"

    I have no other applications open, when I try to update with 9.2.0, but I receive subject error message.  Task Manager shows NO Image Name called "Program Manager".  There is nothing else running, that is obvious to shut down.  Any suggestions, Please?

    Have these posted suggestions worked for anyone?  I have been using the same installation files on several different machines.  Most machines upgrade just fine but, I have a few that receive this error and I cannot seem to get past it:  "Some files that need to be updated are currently in use"  "Program Manager" is the program that the installer is complaining about.  Does anyone know what program "Program Manager" is?  I'm assuming it is an Adobe file but, why would it interfere with one of my installations and not all of them?
    I'm using the same installation files for all installs so, I don't believe that it could be my downloaded installation setup files.

    I tried downloading the most current Adobe Flash so I could watch things online.  When downloading it, it says that I already have the most current version.  Then when I click on the link for Flash to automatically update, it says that there was an error.  When I go to watch things online, it still says I need the current Adobe Flash.  How do I tell if I have the most current version or not?  How do I get it to work?  Thanks.

  • What is the list of current Adobe CC apps as of 6/21/2014

    I recently went through the CC 2014 updates on my Desktop and Laptop. This left me with Adobe products from three different product versions (numbered, CC, CC 2014). I'm trying to remove any superfluous apps on my laptop where HD space is at a premium and besides the obvious CC to CC 2014 upgrades, I wanted to double check that I only had the most current Adobe apps that are part of Creative Suite. To this end, can someone provide a basic list of each app and version that comprises the current Creative Cloud suite of apps as of today?
    For example, it seems like Extension manager might be depreciated now? Or is it just waiting for a CC 2014 update? I dunno, I guess the weird version control of Adobe has me confused now.
    I was hoping Creative Cloud would seamlessly upgrade stuff continuously so I didn't have to think too hard, but that doesn't seem to be happening, at least not right now.

    I can’t give you a list, but the numbered versions are the oldest, the CC versions are the next oldest, and the CC 2014 versions are the newest.  You can look in your list of apps and see if there are any duplicate versions of a particular product, to decide which ones are the newest; however, before uninstalling everything that isn’t CC 2014, keep in mind that:
    Adobe changed how extensions work in CC 2014:  CC and earlier can use Flash, but CC 2014 can only use HTML5, so installing CC 2014 doesn’t erase CC just in case there are plug-ins and extensions you want to work with that won’t work in the newer.
    If CC 2014 apps have all the plug-ins and extensions you need then uninstall the older ones; however, to get the associations working properly, you’ll probably need to uninstall all versions including CC 2014, then re-install just the CC 2014 versions. 
    Here is a forum message that describes the order to uninstall and reinstall things to get the associations to work right, and since you’ve already installed CC 2014, you’ll want to do what it says if things were done in the wrong older:

    I KEEP GETTING THE MESSAGE THAT UPDATES ARE READY TO BE INSTALLED ON ADOBE READER 8.2.1
    WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL, I GET AN UPDATE FAILED ERROR 1500 WHICH REFERS ME TO ADOBE READER REPAIR.
    WHEN I TRY TO RUN THAT, I GET AN ERROR 1606 WHICH REFERS TO ACCESS TO A FILE ON ANOTHER NETWORK TO WHICH I WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO FOR THE NEXT 8 MONTHS.
    IF I TRY TO INSTALL READER 9.3 OR UNINSTALL 8.2.1, I GET THE SAME ERROR 1606.
    I AM RUNNING VISTA OS.

    it would be realy nice to have a "Adobe Updater" for all Adobe Products.
    At the momemt Flash Player, Adobe Reader, Photoshop Elements, ... has their own updater, but some Adobe products have still no auto updater.
    So please create one updater for all products.

    I can speak only for Windows systems and there I currently know:
    - Air
    - Shockwave Player
    For Photoshop Elements (as example) there exist already the "Adobe Application Manager".
    Flash/Shockwave Player, Adobe Reader and Air should be also updated via "Adobe Application Manager".
    There it should be possible to set for each application, if we want also beta updates if available or not.

    We follow the following procedure to update standard price in material master. Our organization is a manufacturer of pharma products. ( System is not live yet)
    We have BoM's for all FG's and all FG's & SFG's are having Price control indicator as "S". Rest other materials are valuated for Moving Average price.
    > Run T-code CK11n for the FG.
    > Check whether costs of utilities and final product is as per the cost sheets prepared manually (10-20% difference acceptable)
    > Do not save it and goto CK40n tcode. Mark and release price of FG's & SFG's for the current date (eg: 16.01.2008). Now as 10th period of year 2008 was not open at that time and only 9 th period of year 2007 was open, the prices were updated as "FUTURE PRICE" in costing-2 view of material master.
    > Now that when i am opening 10th period (both financial period and inventory period), my future price is not getting updated as my CURRENT PRICE in material master as my standard price.
    Pls. reply to this urgently.

    I am sure about it that when CK40n was done for a future date when some n-1 period was open, the costs released would get updated as future price.
    When the period for which future price was updated is opened as current period, the future price automatically gets updated as current price and is also set as standard price in accounting 1 view.
    But i m unable to identify why is not working.

    When you change to the new router, did you re-run the CD to re-set the new SSID and password to the printer.
    Otherwise your iPad will not be able "talk" to your printer.

    Ipod touch 2 g does not go above ios 4.2.1 and the facebook update needs 4.3 , so there is no way to update the app.
