Upgrade on the cheep opinion please
Which would give me more boost, adding a cpu card that will bring me up to dual 1.8 ghz, or addition of a mac mini as a node? I simply cant afford a new MacPro for a while. Or should I just save the $600 toward my new cpu later. Thanx
The CPU speed is hardly ever a factor, and you have to make it significantly faster to notice any difference anyway. I don't the a Mac Mini would help much either, so I would save your money until you can buy a new system.
Why not look for a refurbished Mac Pro or a used one on Ebay? You might also see what you might get on Ebay for your current system, and then factor that into the price of new gear.

I have a mac, In"Design CS 5.5, a design gave me a file said it was CS 6, does not open in CS 5.5..Message says "Please upgrade your plug-ins to their latest versions, or upgrade to the latest version of Adobe InDesign." I only know from experience that when you invest in bargain pricing you usually get what you pay for.

Remove the iPhone from the list of devices in the car. Remove the car from the list of devices in the iPhone. Turn Bluetooth off on the phone and reset the phone. hodl the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and release. The phone will reboot. Turn the car on and put the radio into discovery/pairing mode. Turn Bluetooth on for the iPhone which puts it into discovery/pairing mode. The two should see each other.

My 'old' files have been backed up onto time capsule (Leopard), I have upgraded to Lion (thro snow leopard) and now checking back to retosre some old files i can't see or access beyond the date I upgraded to Lion? Help please?
Use the manual methods.. but it is possible for TM to wipe the old files in trying to fit into the space.

Used to have ios 7 betaon my i phone and downgraded to ios 6 so i can upgrade to the official ios 7 but i lost my pc back ups. Please help me
First off, Apple doesn't support downgrading and it can potentially brick your phone. With that being said, if you created a back up in iOS 7 Beta and are trying to restore it to iOS6, you wont be able to. You need to upgrade first then restore from your backup. Don't be suprised if it doesn't work. There is a very real possibilty you may have to start from scratch.

When I upgraded to 4.0 it will not show the toolbar "Firefox is not able to show the Toolbar. Please re-install the Toolbar" How do I fix this?
This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Are you still facing the same error ? If yes, are you getting this error everytime you are trying to export ?
Please try again and check.
This is basically a compilation error , where files are not converted into proper format correctly.

HI! I am using iTunes with Windows 7 64bit.after upgrading itunes to 10.5.2.11 it opens only once. If i close it, then it will not open again.the only way to open itunes is by disabling the APSDaemon.exe from the task manager.please help!
Refer this article to reset Winsock to it's default. Your PCTools may have inserted LSP.

My husband and I upgraded from the iPhone 3 to the iPhone 4. I activated mine and all was good. I activiated his and while syncing....instead of transfering his contacts, apps and ect. All of my contacts, apps and ect. were loaded on his phone as well. How do I change this. Please help. Thank you!
At this point it would be best to restore both phones. Do backups of both old phones, and restore new phones from those backups. (make you choose the correct backup for each phone or you'll back were you started).
You can use multiple devices with the same computer, and even the same itunes library. Howevever, it may be easier just to set up seperate user accounts on the computer for the future. -
I am using the iPad 3 64 and am an avid photographer . I have been using iPhoto as my editor when I download my pic to my iPad . I have upgraded to IOS 6. Please tell me why has the delete option has been removed iPhoto?
That was the first thing I check, my X no longer exist, the app still works fine and does everything it did in the past, the the x (delete) option is no longer there. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and did a complete reset, X still not there as an option. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I am using Windows 7 premium 64-bit. I have uninstalled Java completely through Windows program manager. There is no Java in my list of plugins. Every time I update my plugins I get the following message - "Missing JAVA? For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version." I cannot find Java anywhere on my computer. Checked every troubleshooting website I can find but there seems to be no solution.

if so, you can probably safely dismiss this warning since it's likely a mistake. when java isn't present, the site will give that warning message though a webpage cannot detect if this because of java being blocked or if it isn't even installed on the system. -
I cannot sync my iphone to my macbook since the highest software upgrade on it is 10.5.8. I cannot upgrade to the min. software necessary to upgrade to the itunes version that I need for the iphone 5! Please help!
The iPhone 5 requires iTunes 10.7 or later and iTunes 10.7 requires OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8). If your profile is correct it looks like you need to update your OS X on you Mac. You can contact Apple and purchase the software from them.
