URGENT: Canon MF4350d (UFRII LT) driver not working on 10.6.4?

Hi,
Up till recently, i've had no problems printing on my Canon MF4350d using my macbook pro.
Just yesterday, I started to get 10322 errors, meaning to say that my printer is not supported by Mac. Ive tried downloading the latest drivers from the Canon website (UK, US, AU) and yet it still doesnt work. I have read a couple of forum suggestions of clearing the printer files in the library, rebooting and such but had no luck with that either.
Some have said that there are no drivers currently for the 4350d in relation to the 10.6.4 update.
Is there a generic driver i can use? hopefully one that can do double side printing as well?

With all the drivers you have installed you have most likely caused a version mismatch. You only need one driver - the v2.10 available from the Canon Oz web site via this [link|http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100212606.html].
It sounds like you may already have this version downloaded. So I suggest you try the removal of the files again following this procedure which comes from the UFRII User Guide.
1. Open Print & Fax and delete any print queues that would be using the UFRII driver.
2. Open Finder and navigate to HD > Library > Printers > Canon > and delete the UFR2 folder.
3. Navigate to HD > Library > Launch Agents > and delete the file 'jp.co.canon.UFR2.BG.plist'
4. Navigate to HD > Library > Printers > PPDs > Contents > Resources > en.lproj > and delete the files named CNTD**Z*2.ppd.gz (where * indicates a character string that represents the printer model and 2 indicates a character string that represents the corresponding language).
5. With all of these files moved to the Trash, empty it and restart your Mac.
Some have said that there are no drivers currently for the 4350d in relation to the 10.6.4 update.
That's a load of BS. Those that have said this obviously have no idea what they are talking about...The current v2.10 and the new v2.15 driver work fine on 10.6.4.
Is there a generic driver i can use? hopefully one that can do double side printing as well?
No. This model only supports Canon's proprietary UFRII printer language.

Canon MP560 Scanner Twain Driver Not Working

I have a Canon MP560 MFP and for some reason the Scanner does not show up in applications like Image Capture or Preview. However, it works fine with Canon's MP Navigator 3.0. I downloaded and installed the latest Canon driver software for that Printer for 10.6 but that didn't seem to make any difference. I have tried turning off the printer and turning it back on. I use it wirelessly only and before the latest Canon printer update it all worked fine. Now it can print fine wirelessly and it can scan wirelessly only if I use Canon's MP Navigator, which I do not prefer to use for simple scanning tasks.
In Library/CFM Support I have a BJExtDDI.cfm and a TWAIN Source Manager.Shlb file.
What is missing here? This used to work fine.

The scanning via Image Capture or Preview uses the ICA driver. This is included with the [Canon driver update|http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899] available from Apple. The Canon scanner driver supports the scanning via MP Navigator but not Image Capture or Preview and the ICA driver does not support this application.
So it sounds like you have a problem with the ICA driver. This driver package is located in HD > Library > Image Capture > Devices > CanonIJScanner1. You could try installing the [ICA v1.7.0 driver|http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100213301.html] which will update this package.
If that doesn't help then can you confirm if you can see the scanner if you select to add it to Print & Fax. If you select to Add the wireless MP560 should be seen twice in the Default view - first as a Bonjour Scanner and then a bit later as canonijnetwork.
FYI - Another postee found that he was not able to locate the scanner component via wireless, while the printer component was still working fine via wireless.

Exact Problem : Audio stops working now, and then, intially reinstalling audio driver helped, but now, that trick is also not working!! I'm nither on mute, nor on low volume level!!
Laptop is brand new : And i'm using it from last 2 days only, so was installing everything for the first time.

Dvd drive not worked properly

i have hp pavilion dv4 series.my dvd drive not worked properly.for that purpose only i went 7 times in your service centre but they won't take action till now .why u people do like this .i want explation and just change my dvd drive that's all.

Sounds like a bad drive...I would get a replacement. According to Accelerate Your Mac database, it should work without issue.
Just enter the model number of the drive and select your Powerbook G3 2000, and you will see four reports on this model.

This procedure is much too complicated for an average user. You know that millions of Wondow XP users are switching to Windows 7. I' sure that most of them are facing similar problems. HP should come with a user friendly solution that solves the above issues. Don't you think?

I see that your HP Deskjet D2300 series driver not working in windows 7.
Do you see any error messages with the installer? Or does it just close out and doesn't install?
In the meantime, please try using our HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

Disk Drive not working and could not inter Hkey_Local_Machine

Canon Lide 60 Scanner does not work on Mountain Lion

Hi! Is anybody out there who would know how my good old Canon Lide 60 would work with OSX 10.8? Canon says Mountain Lion ist not supported on this device. Anyone an idea what to do without buying a new one? Thank you!

i bought a new canon scanner Lide 110 it's working perfect.
I tried my old scanner( Canon Lide 60) or it should work with this installed canon driver
i'am surprised my old scanner, lide 60 is working min Ml 10.8.4
photoloader does not recognise it. But Vuescan does. i use Vuescan 9.2.21
so the Lide 110 software works on 10.8 en higher for the Lide 60

USB drives not working on Macbook Pro

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro and both USB drives are currently not working. All storage devices work in my other Mac, just not in this one. They do not show up in disk utility or anything. I've attached a screenshot of the system profiler information, because when compared to my other Mac it doesn't show as many USB ports. Please Help, Justin

Hi i'm also having the same problem (Macbook pro late 2011). I have a back-up hard drive that will not connect to my usb either. I have done a PRAM & SMC reboot and neither worked. I read another post that said to erase the usb & retry connecting, but that's not really an option for me as this is the back-up of my entire disk + extra materials (I'm a medical student). I need the data off my hard drive urgently! It was working this morning and now it's not.
Mine does show up in disk utility, but I can't access anything on it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

DVD drive not working properly.....

here's the info on whats going on:
when i try to put in a CD/DVD it spits the disk out right away. after trying to put it in about five times or so, the drive takes it, makes its fancy noises to make me think that its reading the disk, but the computer doesnt recognize that it has one in the drive. sometimes it spits the disk out, but other times it will just keep it.
ive been reading posts from other users with similar issues and done everything that everyone has tried i.e. going to disk utilities and "verifying the disk" (it says everything is working normally), tried to "repair" the drive, and when i go the the info section about my disk drive it says that its read/writable, but not ejectable.
here is the info that it gives me, maybe this could be of some help to try and narrow down the possible problems:

I have a question similar to this.....
Just recently (no updates/changes, etc) my CD drive stopped working. It won't let me enter a CD at all. It is as if there is something in there blocking it. I tried restarting the computer, but that didn't help. It acts like I have to force it in there, but I really don't want to do that. As far as I know there's nothing in there, as I rarely use the drive. Please advise if there is any sort of resets I can do for the drive (I'm still trying to get the hang of my MAC).
