Urgent: Newly configured system doesn't show up in Maintenance Optimizer
Dear Experts,
please, I need a quick aid on the following issue:
I have just installed a brand new Java system with usage type Development Infrastructure.
As the system urgently requires installing the latest SPS available, I defined it in our Solution
Manager 7.1 SP10. I have installed the diagnostics agent, then I assigned it to the system,
I made the entire managed system configuration and everything is fine! Just when I started
the MOPZ, in order to calculate the stack, I found out, that the system isn't displayed anywhere!!
In the first step of the managed system configuration, I have created a new logical component
Z_NWDI. Reviewing transaction SMSY, I saw that this logical component is not assigned to the
solution, so I assume that this might be the problem. But I didn't find a way how to make this
logical component a part of our solution! I have checked all the setup in LMDB, and it all seems
to be perfect, I compared things for which I wasn't sure, with another Java system, which is
shown in MOPZ.

how you link the system using solution manager SLD or any other SLD. if you use other SLD also please update teh CR content.

transaction SE38 and run the report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM
.( it will delete the old data and re-synchronize from the SLD )
and select the below option and execute it. so it will delete and re-create the latest details.

Yes, it has been showing up in My Stuff on the AE panel the whole time. I opened my Extension Manager and uninstalled the SuperOverlay Creator, went back to InDesign, installed the panel again, restarted InDesign, still no dice under Window > Extensions.

System not available for selection in Maintenance Optimizer

When planning the maintenance in MOPZ I choose product version and the system displays a list of systems assigned to the Product Version. However, the list only shows one of the two systems assigned to the logical component (prod system). I have looked at the logical component in SMSY listed under SAP ERP -> SAP ECC Server -> Z_SAP ERP and both systems are listed and are "green". A Consistency Check of the logical component shows no errors.

There is no 'display filter' on the screen you are referring to, Change Management -> Maintenance Optimizer -> Create New Maintenance Transaction. This is the initial screen of the maintenance transaction where it shows the 5 steps of the maintenance transaction. The following selectable fields are available:
Priority
Short Text
Product version
When I make a selection for the product version an additional selectable table is available where I can select the systems. I should be able to see all the systems assigned to the logical component, however I only see one of the two systems.
I have checked two other Solution Manager systems and there is no 'display filter' or 'hide filter' button either.

Only 1 Instance show up on Maintenance Optimizer Transaction
Dear all,
I got another issue relate to Maintenance Optimizer transaction under dswc, I have 2 satellite systems under 1 logical component.
On the first step of MO transaction , I select Product Version SAP ECC 6.0, there is only 1 system appear, in fact in my logical component there are 2 systems ( in SP Stack screen both systems appear normally)
Anyone know the cause, or there is any further set to be done ? Thanks...

In MOpz, you are selecting the product version ECC 6.0
check once if both those remote systems are difined as ECC 6.0 in SMSY or any other product version ? Second system might be defined of type ERP
and, are you able to see all the systems as 'green' in SMSY -> Solution landscape -> select that particular solution and see if the systems assigned are green or not. Also, by selecting the particular system in the same screen, once check include/exclude button and check consistency then.
and, Are you able to see EWA service sessions for both of those systems in that particular solution view ?

and if the problem is related to the product version, then you should change the product version to the type of ERP instead of ECC 6, I forgot the exact note number for this, but you can try the below one for this

We had a SCCM 2007 sp2 environment before. then we changed the server and installed a fresh SCCM2012.
We use active directory client deployment method. even i tried installing the client from the exe file of ccmsetup.exe
until now 120 systems client has installed successfully but we faced two issues:
1- on some systems ccmsetup process exits after 10-20 seconds!!
2- on some systems even after a successful installation, the system wont show up in the config manager console.
any advise or help?
thanksYes, those are client side logs. If the client cannot communicate with the server, there is no way for the server to have information about the client in its logs.

Newly created ringtone doesn't show up
I recently created a ringtone for my iPhone but it's not showing up except in iTunes. it's in m4r format and appeares to work just fine. Any reson why it would show up in iTunes but NOT on my phone?

Hardware Configuration tab doesn't show Vlan Configuration of VM
In SCVMM 2012 R2 I can go into the properties of a VM and set the VLAN and it saves and correctly sets the VLAN on the machine.
If I then go back into the properties the VLAN option is unchecked. If I make a change to any other setting and save it then removes the VLAN from the machine, disconnecting it.
On SCVMM 2012 SP1 it worked fine, on SCVMM 2012 R2 the Hardware configuration is always missing the VLAN information.
Can somebody else confirm that they are having the same issue with SCVMM 2012 R2?Yes - I confirm that I am having the same/similar issue with SCVMM 2012 r2. In my case, I am trying to assign a different VLAN after deployment. In SCVMM, I don't see the existing VLAN information, however, VLAN ID is correct on HyperV Manager. If I change
the VLAN ID, the change reflects in the VM however it will be missing on SCVMM. Seems like a bug. I am also opening a case with Microsoft support.

Newly created library doesn't show up in client
Hi everyone, i'm in the process of doing a migration from netware to linux, GW7.02 HP2.
I'm at the stage of moving library documents, so have created 2 new libraries in the new PO, the docs are stored in the PO.
I created the new library object in ConsoleOne, but it refuses to show up in my groupwise client so I can do the mass document operation to move the docs. I've restarted both PO's, done a groupwise sync and made default access as all rights. I've set myself as the librarian on both the new PO and old PO.
What have I missed out on doing here that would cause this, or is it some kind of GW replication that happens on a schedule that I just need to wait for?Rebuild the PO database.

anybody able to help me with my setup for apple tv. i've followed the directions in the guide and my tv doesn't seem to register in part. it's weird because my tv system info identifies the apple tv but the screen never went black and it doesn't show anything, too, my imac doesn't seem to register the apple tv unit either
I would try connecting it to another tv to see if it works there if it does
then likely your tv can't handle the default resolution and you should lower it on the other tv
if not then you should connect it by usb to the computer and use itunes to restore it's firmware -
I have an iPod with iOS 4.2.1 and would like to up date to version 5. The pc I normally sync with has XP operating system. So I can't up date to iTunes 10. And my iPod doesn't show the software update button shown in the article. What can I do?
You cannot update it if you can't get the latest version of iTunes. Actually, the latest version of iTunes will run in XP if you have Service Pack 2. Also, you posted in the iPad forum, and your profile shows you have an iPad, but in your post, you say it is an iPod. Is it an iPad or an iPod?

Good day, can someone show how to update a new credit card on iTunes Store as I have changed my credit card. It seems like the system doesn't accept the new infos but when investigated with apple store staff members, they said I had a previous purchase to complete for the payment in order to update my new infos. Task manager on windows server 2008 doesn't show the memory from newly installed 2nd CPU

We have a dual processor dell power edge t410 running windows server 2008 (64-bit), standard edition. I have recently added a 2nd xeon x5560 quad-core processor (first one is also x5560 with 32GB (4x8) memory) and 16GB ram (4x4). Seems like the new CPU is
recognized in BIOS, Dell's server admin app and task manager shows 16 vertical boxes (hyper threading is on both cpus) under Performance->CPU Usage History and these boxes show processor load spread relatively evenly across all threads. On the other hand
the additional memory for this CPU is visible in the BIOS, Dell server admin but not in the task manager, which still shows the 32gb under performance->physical memory. Rammap also shows only 32GB.. Currently running proprietary processes that along with
the metafile and windows own ring up nearly 30GB, which in turn causes system latency for GUI and apps, as if the additional 16GB are not there...
So the questions are these:
1) does anybody know why the added memory doesn't show up in the task manager / rammap?
2) if the new memory doesn't show up, does this mean that Windows does not use it (which should be impossible if the CPU is utilized, unless I am wrong about windows using the cpu..)?

Account doesn't show up in system preferences
In an attempt to override my master password, I started my computer in single user mode, typed /sh/mount -uw / and passwd, and then entered a new password. However, this created a new account called System Administrator on my computer that shows up in the login menu as "Other…". I want to delete this account, but when I log in to my usual account, the System Administrator account doesn't show up in System Preferences. Can anyone tell me how to delete this account?
(Btw, any tips on how to find out what the password is for the root user would be helpful. From my normal account, the new password I entered doesn't work for root, although it does in the System Administrator account.)

Its a user that will not be seen in system preferences and should never be gotten rid of (its great for troubleshooting).
The root user or (system administrator) is different from a User account with Administrator access.
