Urgent really helpless

'Not a valid month' error. (ORA01843)
how can I amend the SQL below to solve the problem.
SELECT SUM(TRANSACTION.DISCOUNT_PRICE) as sales,
TO_CHAR(TRANSACTION.SHOW_DATE, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI') as timeslot,
TRANSACTION.SHOW_DATE
FROM TRANSACTION
WHERE TO_CHAR(TRANSACTION.SHOW_DATE, 'HH24:MI') = :course_to_query
GROUP BY TRANSACTION.SHOW_DATE
THE SHOW_DATE IS A DATE DATATYPE.

I doubt that you really want TRANSACTION.SHOW_DATE in your select list (and therefore nor in your group by list) at all, since you are already pulling back that value, except for seconds. Do you really want that coming back twice? - one with seconds, one without.
The general rule is whatever columns are listed in the select list must also be in the group by clause, if there is one. This doesn't apply to the aggregate functions (sum, avg, etc) of course.
Your course_to_query variable must have something in it that looks like the format you specified to compare it to... "hh24:mi". Does it?

[URGENT] Really frustrated over 'Not Charging' Err...

Hi,
I have Nokia x6 16gb and when I plug it to charge it it shows 'Not Charging' which is really frustrating :/
I use the charger that came along with my phone, I also used the charger which came along with another Nokia Phone (Both Orignal Chargers) and still this happens.
I had this problem before (Oct'13) but I pulled out my sim and then charged it and it worked, I tried the same again but no results.
When I open my phone, I have an app (iON Battery Charger) which displays my battery charge to be 7% but after I plug in my charger, after it displays error the App says 'Battery API Error'.
I have over a hundred problems with my x6 but I'm living with it but this one is serious.
Please help its Urgent.

URGENT : Really need Nokia's help on this one... A...

Good day!
I am using my Nokia N70-1 for both of my personal and business matters.
This morning, I saw a warning on my phone regarding an operation it couldn't process:
It goes like this:
"Telephone: Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first"
I checked the memory of my phone through its settings and saw that I already consumed all of its available memory which is 21MB.
I have no music tracks, videos, etc. on my phone.
Only messages and the phonebook.
I already deleted so many files this morning.
But the memory of the phone still indicates that there are no longer available memory space.
Now it started again to say to delete some data but everytime I try to delete some files, the warning message keeps on appearing and interfering the process.
I cannot delete the files.
Worst, I cannot accept and send messages.
What should I do?

You need to find out what is taking your memory up.
I would recommend that you power the phone down and take the battery out of the phone for 1 minute.
Put it back in and power the phone back up. *DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE*
Once the phone has powered up, access the Menu and go to the following location :
Menu->Tools->File Manager
The first bit you see at the top will have an icon of a phone - this represents the data you have stored on your phone.
Select Options->Memory details
and this will give you a breakdown of exactly what is taking up all the space on your phone. From here you should be able to access the relevant section of the phone to free up some space on your phone.
If for whatever reason you're unable to use the phone after powering it off and back on, then the fail safe way to get this working is to wipe your phone to the factory defaults which means that it will behave as if you had just taken out of the box when you bought it.
The downside to this is that you lose *ALL* the information you have stored on it - messages, contacts - the lot.

However please be aware that doing so will wipe ALL the data from your phone such as information in your calendar, contacts and so on.

Hi, I just bought a BB Bold and am having great difficulty to transfer infor fom my Palm Tungsten E2.
Main problem is my Palm is fried (while I was in Singapore, wrong power source and transformer did not work), but I have my data on my notebook. Does anyone know how I can sync my calender, contact list to my BB? Please help, feeling really helpless. Thanks.

Related to Network program using Java Client and C server

I am little bit experience in java technology. I need an urgent help as I have to submit a document related to C server and Java client. But while searching in net i cant get a proper guidance for C server as many errors thrown in sys/socket.h and other new header files. Can any one help me out for giving source code for C Server. so that i can further involve in that document. Thanks for your reply.. I have gone through many sockets server program in C but the real proble is the header file they include like
socket.h and in.h etc.. they also provide these header files but if we compile in turboC they inturn require some other header files. I dont get the full hierarchy of C server program. I found some help in Java programming Archive about C Server and java client. As i am new to C i cant get the full header files for the server.c if i complete taht only i can proceed to java client. If u can redirect me for any good C sites also i can be thankful for u forever..please

Unknown problem with JSP, JavaScript - Pls help

Hi Friends,
I am facing a strange problem. Explained it below. Kindly help me as it is really affecting my work. Thanks in advance.
I am working on building a web application using jsp, servlet, ejb. the IDE used is WSAD 5.1.2.
I have the below :
1 JSP - Input page - for user input entry
2. Java script1 - For all client side validations
Java script2 - For handling the data submission to servlet (as selected by user)
Javascript3 - Header & Menu Bar
3 Servlet - This actually retrieves the values from the hidden parameters, sets them in session and redirects the control back to the jsp.
Logic for one small iteration : Two drop downs are there. On selecting the first drop down the second drop down should be populated and the first drop down should display the user selected value.
1. When the user selects the first drop down onchange() event gets fired which calls a method in the javascript.
2. In the javascript I set the value of a hidden form field to the selected combo index and submit the form to the servlet
3. In the servlet, I retrieve the hidden request parameter (Index),
set the index in session. Do my business logic based on the value of the index. Set the collection (to be displayed) in second drop down in session.
4. Send the response back to the JSP.
5. In the JSP, we have a method which is called during the onload() event of the body
6. This method sets the user selected values in appropriate controls(by taking from session)
Problem faced: I have a javascript which creates the menu bar for my application and this i've included it in my jsp. I dont know whats wrong with this javascript, when it is commented out the page works perfectly fine. Both the user selected value and the collection are loaded exactly as expected. But when it is included the collection is loaded in the second drop down but the selected index of the first drop down is not set - the drop down gets reset to the default value.
Also on body load of my jsp, I call a javascript method which sets the current date in one text field of my form. Even this is not working fine when I include this javascript. I don't see any script error in this javascript in my browser though. Strange but guess something basic :(
I'm sure there is nothing to do with session. I've tried printing the entire flow. The Servlet sets the values correctly in session and they are also correctly available in the JSP page. The JSP also gets loaded with the user selected values but something happens on page load which clears the values to default.
Am also confused in what way javascript is related to this, coz when I remove it things are working fine.
Am really helpless here pls do the needful. any help is appreciated.

In fdm i am trying to Import the data but i am getting the below error while importing text file.

When you perform a bulk load, you basically tell SQL Server to execute a command local to the SQL server. What that means is that if you pass it a parameter that says load the file :
C:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality\Mineapp\Test2\Inbox\mine\load_demo2.txt
SQL Server is going to look on it's C drive for the file.
Unless you have SQL Server running on the FDM server, this is going to fail obviously.
The 'right' thing to do is setup your FDM app using a share name. (i.e. \\FDMSERVER\FDMAPPS\Mineapp instead of c:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality\Mineapp).
If you are relatively handy with FDM, there is a config file (in XML) that has the path information for the apps and you just need to change it from the hardcoded C drive reference to the share you create.)
Your other option is to NOT load the fiels as bulk. If you have a lot of large data files being loaded, this would be a bad idea. If you have relatively small load files every month and not a lot of users on the system, this may not impact performance. I would update the path information if it were me.

my smart form working fine if equipment is not goes for AUC settlement but when it goes for settlement then i m not getting the aquisition value for deptt.
since after settlement equipment assign with a new asset number. so i m not getting the exect field to get the aquistion value.
b4 that i m using aquisition value for deptt is kansw from anlc table but it fails under settlement.
i got one field AIBN1 in ANLA that i m using for new asset no after settlement but where i will get the related amount means where i will get the aquisition value of the changed asset no.
please help me if u can?. since in my developmentment server data is not there so i m really helpless so plz give me exact relation

A file is(Xml/flat) is kept into the server.Xi is picking up with file and then it will call a webservice .this webservice will get the file data and post it to idoc.
It may need BPM .i properly dont know.Please anyone answer it descriptive.

Thinkpad Yoga doesn't power up

I bought a Thinkpad Yoga about 3 weeks ago. It came with two discoloured spots at the top two corners, so I went back to the shop and switched for a new one. This also came with the problem and I therefore switched for a third one again, which also had this problem.
I sent it in for replacement, Lenovo was willing to approve a direct replacement from them, so after 3 weeks of waiting (yes, which meant i spent only 1 day so far with this laptop). The fourth laptop arrived today. However, after working for a few hours, the laptop now refuses to power up at all.
I tried the power button trick, doesn't work. I tried pulling out the battery and power cable and pressed the reset button, doesn't work. I tried holding on to the power button for 5 minutes, pressing the reset button for 5 mins, doesn;t work.
Before I request for a fifth replacement laptop from Lenovo again, does anybody have any tips that could help me power up my TPY? I feel really helpless with this laptop right now. (Refunds doesn't happen in Singapore due to weak consumer protection laws).

Does the laptop respond when u press the power button? If you have problem I strongly suggest refund or replacement.

DnD - Get Drop Mouse Position

I want to Drag some image file from a JList, and then drop it on a JPanel. The dropping on the panel functions. The problem is, i would like to get the position of the mouse, when the item is dropped on the panel. I use the panel to visualize graphics with Graphics2D, and the image dragged from the list should then be displayed at the position on the panel, where it is dropped. So how could i get this position? I have added a MouseListener to the panel, but it does not react on the mouse events which are caused by the DnD action.

I am really helpless... Is this a stupid question or does nobody know the answer?

I found a MouseDragGestureRecognizer Class, but i am not able to implement. Actually i have just a JList, from which Strings are dragged, and a JPanel, on which the Strings are dropped.

IMac (still) freezes - console: What is "unknown SIGSEGV code 0" ?

Some weeks ago I was writing that my iMac started freezing at irregular intervals. At some point I thought that had found the error - unfortunately it still occurs, though.
Most of the time what happens is this:
* I draw with my Wacom Intuso 2 in Photoshop CS4. Suddenly nothing works anymore. The mouse Cursor can still be moved (sometimes not even that any more), and iTunes or webradio like Jango still plays what's stored in memory.
Neither Finder nor the dock, expose or spaces work any more.
* I can't put the computer in sleep mode. All I can do is force-power-off by holding power for 2 seconds
* I restart the computer and it works like nothing has happened. Sometimes it stays like that for 15 minutes sometimes I can work several hours or a full day without anything weird happening.
* there are no graphic glitches so I don't suspect the graphics chip (any more)
Just to get this out of the way:
I have an itel Based iMac 24", 3.06GHz DualCore, 2GB RAM.
It's a work machine: Adobe software, Cinema4D and ZBrush.
Worked absolutely flawless before. Works stable most of the time on Windows. Crashes are different from those on OSX if they occur though.
It all started shortly after my mac choked on a security update during install (which had me force-reset the computer the hard way). I installed the Update manually but the freezes still occur.
I have fixed access-rights (several times).
I have performed an intensive system check from the OS disc - nothing found.
I keep the system updated as soon as there are new updates available.
When monitoring the temperatures the only two values above what I think reasonable at times are Graphics (up to 72°C) and power supply (up to 75°C).
All other values are well within normal limits. The Mac stands freely and not to close to any wall. No heat source close to it, no window with too much sunlight either ....
I've already reset the PRAM. No effect.
Now I'm not too familiar with the console but checking the 'system.log' shows something like this very often:

Is this something that could be crashing my mac?
Or does this mean nothing, really and the fault still lies somewhere else?
I'm really helpless, any more. My only hope is that it's no hardware malfunction and that my Mac won't die on me over the next few months.

Whether or not that will help with your freezing issues I can't say. If not, I've seen anecdotal information that suggests issues with Wacom tablets, but again I can't say with certainty that it involved in your problem, but you might try working for a bit, if you can, with the tablet disconnected and see if that has any effect on the frequency of the freezes.

Help : VM 1.2 crashing

Hi,
I have the following problem:
We run a servlet which heavily uses database access via jdbc:odbc. It runs on WinNT and 2000 with JDK1.2 and JRun 2.3.3.
Now the problem is:
The VM is crashing (with Dr.Watson c00000005 - I think this mean Access violation or Segmentation fault) on always the same use case but it is not really reproducible. Sometimes it works fine (algorithm is correct), sometime the VM crashes as soon as the use case starts, sometimes the VM crashes as soon as the use is finished.
I am really helpless!!!!!
What can I do to track down this problem?
What are possible reasons for the VM to crash?
Where can I find additional help?
Hopefulle someone out there can help me.

You mentioned database access via the JDBC-ODBC bridge driver. That is a Type 1 JDBC driver (part Java, part native driver) that translates JDBC calls to ODBC calls. The registered ODBC driver then translates the ODBC calls to native database calls. I suspect that the registered ODBC driver is the culprit. Try using another ODBC driver (newer version or different manufacturer) or try using a Type 2 JDBC driver (also a part Java, part native driver however there is one less layer of translation).
