Valuation type change in goods receipts

Dear Experts,
We are creating the stock transfer through out bound delivery.
In out bound delivery we are changing the valuation type.. But while creating the GR system is asking the old valuation  type which is present in the PO.
We want new valuation type in the GR.
Flow is as -
PO with valuation type- outbound delivery( in this val type is changed)- Then GR ( wrf PO)
please suggest.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
During GR system will not allow to change valuation type. since ur doing GR wrt to PO, u need to change it in PO only.
One more option u need to try it out is ,
create inbound delivery wrt PO and see u can change it in inbound delivery if u dont want to change it in PO, then u can do GR wrt inbound delivery.

  • Change non valuated WBS element after goods receipt

    Hi all,
Do you know if it is possible to grey up in the PO a non valuated WBS element after a goods receipt?
The other account assignments (coster centers, assets, orders, valuated WBS elements) are automatically greyed up after a goods receipt, but not non valuated WBS elements.
    Do you know why?
    Thanks all for your answers.

    Hi,
I am using a valuated material type with a valuation class.
We create POs with valuated material types assigned to a non valuated WBS element.
As a result, when we create a goods receipt, there is no accounting movement (no movement on 408 account and material account)
The accounting movements appear only after invoice receipt (vendor account + material account).
    Hope it's clear
    Thanks

  • Movement type for a goods receipt for u201CRelease order for a PRqRel"

There is an intercompany sales at our case. Plant B enters the customer order by VA01. The requirements rooting from the customer order are bought from plant A  by Plant B. u201CRelease order for a stock transfer requisitionu201D is created automatically by entering the customer order and later using the TCode MD02. By this way Plant A can see the reauirements fort he customer order at Plant B. For the test purposes, I want to make a goods receipt for the u201CRelease order for a stock transfer requisitionu201D. The receipr will be at the Plant A but the customer order is at the Plant B. By the way, I have to point out that Plant A and Plant B are assigned to different company codes. How can I make the goods receipt? I cannot use 561 E. Because customer order belongs to differen company code. I fact, production should be done for this aspect but I donu2019t have enough experience for producing the goods by myself. Which movement type should I use for making a goods receipt for the u201CRelease order for a stock transfer requisitionu201D at Plant A?
Thanks in advance fort he answersu2026

    Hi,
This is controlled by the schedule line category In VOV6.
Just check which category is used in your scenarion and change the movement type here. (I think your entry is NC)
They are determined by the item category and MRP type in SPRO - SD > Sales > Sales Documents > Schedule lines

  • Output Type MLGR, 'Report Goods Receipt to Buyer' not proccessed correctly

    Hi
We are using output type MLGR to send a doc 'Report Goods Receipt to Buyer' which is defined
    under->Output Types->Mail title and texts.
    Its 'Proccessing Routine' is: RSNASTSO
    Form Routine is: SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF
All is well when we use MB02 MLGR,'Simple Mail',MP, UserName
It sends the email to SAPConect.
BUT the form comes with the definitions not with the actual values.
    Like so:
INCLUDE MMIM_SE71_NEUER_EDITOR_MAIL2 OBJECT DOKU ID TX LANGUAGE EN
                                             $DATE$, $TIME$
    $SGF$ oder $SGH$ $EKKO-ERNAM$ !
A goods receipt for your purchase order $MSEG-EBELN$
item $MSEG-EBELP$ has just been entered.
    Material:           $MSEG-MATNR$ $EKPO-TXZ01$
    Quantity delivered: $MSEG-ERFMG$
    Vendor:             $MSEG-LIFNR$, $AM07M-NAME1$
    Posting date:       $MKPF-BLDAT$
    $MFG$
        $MKPF-USNAM$
    Reg's
    Edan

    1. use variables '&' instead of '$'
    2. In transaction M706 for output type MLGR, make sure you have maintained the include by going in the long text, Choose Goto -> Change Editior, and maintain the form here :
"A goods receipt for your purchase order &MSEG-EBELN&
item &MSEG-EBELP& has just been entered.
    Material: &MSEG-MATNR& &EKPO-TXZ01&
    Quantity delivered: &MSEG-ERFMG&
    Vendor: &MSEG-LIFNR&, &AM07M-NAME1&
    Posting date: &MKPF-BLDAT&
    &MFG&
    &MKPF-USNAM&"
Then in MN22, delete the earlier condition record and create a new condition record in MN21
Here in the Communication in the MENU select
Goto -> Execution Parameter. You reach the dialog box Change Execution Parameter. Here you maintain the following data for mail processing:
Execution type        U   Transaction with memory
    Execution element     MB03
    Memory ID                  MBN
Par name: RM07M-MBLNR      Parameter value: MSEG-EBELN
    Save
Then create a PO (please remember to click on the GR message in the header), and create a GR against the PO.
In SBWP, you will get the values and not definitions this time for the message created.

  • PO Price Change after Goods receipt

What is the config settings for not allowing the price(Net price) change at item level in Purchase order after the GR or partial GR is made.
    Thanks

    Hello,
Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided. It is possible to change the net order price in a PO item after the GR has been posted.
What you cannot do is add new delivery costs. This is forbidden with an error message.
In the customizing transaction OMF4 you can disallow the changes for the net price setting it as a "display" field only for the field selection groups ME22 and ME22N. Please, take into account that AKTV, NBF, PT0F will also be checked (or other entries depending on your specific document type and item category).
Unfortunately, this will affect the "net price" in the transactions ME22 and ME22N all the times (this is, the field will be a "display only" field always; it will not allow changes, independently of whether you have posted the goods receipt or not).
    I hope this helps!
    Esther.

  • Valuated Sales order stock - Goods Receipt

    Greetings,
I am trying to better understand the concept of 'Valuated Sales order stock" and I read in the SAP documentation that:
"When you are using a valuated sales order stock, externally procured individual requirements materials are assigned to the sales order stock at the net order price at the time of the goods receipt"
But I find that in our SAP system, this is not the case. Externally procured materials are valued at whatever price they are costed in the sales order they are used.
I can have a PO whose net price is 5000 Euros for Material X but if that same Material X is costed at 8000 Euros in the Sales order to which is it used, the GR for Material X will be at 8000 Euros.
(the PO for Material X is assigned against the sales order).
Perhaps I am misunderstanding what is meant by "externally procured individual requirements materials"?
In the example above, material X is not the Finished Goods sold to customer through the Sales order. It is a component that is involved in the production of the FG.
It seems to me more logical that Material X value be based on the cost estimate computed in the sales order rather than on the PO Net price...
Thanks in advance for your valuable feedbacks!
    Best regards,
    Sylvain

    Hello Nikolas,
    Thanks for your answer.
Yes, we value our inventory at Std.
(Is this why the GR is valued at Sales order cost estimate and not Net Price?. SAP does not mention this in its documentation)
I understand your point but my argument is based on the fact that if a purchased material (Material X in my example) is received into stock at the Net Price value, then, there will be a mismatch between
    - the Cost Estimate of Material X in the Sales order (Material X will be valued at its Std there, based on our Costing variant)
    and
    - the value at which this Material X will be consumed in the Production process (since it will be at Net Price).
This would cause a Production variance to be recognized since the actual costs to produce the Finished good would be different from the Cost estimate of the Finished Good in the Sales order (and the cost estimate in the sales order determine the COGS of the Finished Goods in accounting).
The difference of 20 you mention is treated as a Purchase Price variance in our case. That PPV is assigned against the Sales order.
    Best regards,
    Sylvain

  • Prevent PO item from beeing changed after goods receipt or invoice receipt

    Hi all,
Users had the good idea to change the description of the goods to be purchased, after a partial goods entry was already posted. Now they complain that what they get is not what they ordered (...)
Is it possible to prevent a PO item line from beeing changed with ME22N, after e.g. a partial goods receipt has been posted, or the MIRO posting has been done?
    Thanks for information!

    Kurt,
Standard SAP doesnt restrict you to PO changes when subsequent documents are posted.
You can have a Customer Exit to check in MSEG Table if any subsequent document exists for the PO entered in the PO number field. the exit could be used to check PO if MIRO/ MIGO have been posted or not.
Also define error messages if the documents are posted, user should get error message.

  • Valuation type change to existing stock

    Dear SAP friends,
Is there any possibility to change Stock of one valuation type to another valuation type.
For example I want to change Raw material imported  stock to Raw material Indigenous ( Domestic).
    Any answers will be appreciated.
    Ram

    Hi,
In this case you can use Tr. Code MMAM but provided the below conditions.
There should not be any stock for both materials(zero stock)
There should not be any pending PO's, PR's etc, for both materials.
Then try with Tr. code. MMAM.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Valuation type change

    Dear Gurus,
    I have a query.
we purchase the FG from vendor by sending SFG to them.( subcontracting ) FG is subjected to split valuation.
When take GR of the FG it is placed in quality inspection stock. Then after quality check we want to change the valuation type of the FG. Can this be achieved?
Or i will have to enter the valuatin type while MIGO (GR) itself?
    Thanks

    Hi,
After quality inspection, you keep the stock in the same val type. Then do transfer posting to another material with split valuation and batch using 309 mvt type and transfer the stock.
Now your material will not have stock and open POs. Now you can change valuation type and make tranfer posting again using 309 mvt and create new batch and save.
    Please check it out.
    Regards
