Volume and app issues?!

Well it started with my volume continuously shutting on and off by its self without the volume switch or buttons being touched. It will just turn on and off my volume until it feels like stopping. Shortly after this my apps stopped working, every time I open any app it crashes. My phone has been reset, the apps have been reinstalled, and my phone has been checked for water damage, nothing seems to be working! Any ideas?

That does sound like a major problem as I mainly use my older shuffle in gym. My biggest problem is that I can't wear the type of ear buds that Apple supplies , I need the type that go in to the canal like shures' so can't think about getting the new shuffle. Can't find any place to write Apple direct about it.

  • Volume and Control Issues

    Just got two new units a week or so ago, both my husband and I have had issues with sweat (apparently) causing the volume to suddenly increase and then the contol no longer works until it dries out. Given the location where apple dediced to place the controls, you would think they would be sealed and water tight.

    That does sound like a major problem as I mainly use my older shuffle in gym.   • Nano - Volume and Settings Issue

    My Nano's volume will go up and down for no reason.It happens when the Nano is locked so it isn't going up and down because I am hitting it. Also, right now the Nano seems to be set so that the song title, artist and some additional info is read before each song. Any ideas on how to fix one or both of these issues?

  • Volume and Track Issue

    Since buying my Shuffle, I have been very disappointed in a couple of things. First, When I shut my Shuffle OFF, the voume seems to default back to very low, when I turn it back on. In iTunes,it is set and locked to MAX allowable volume. is there any way to correct this, so the Volume returns to the level when turned off?
    Second disappointment is that the when I shut the Shuffle off, it basically starts at any tune randomly. My Classic, would start at the same tune all the time. Any way to resolve that issue?

    Odd, my new 4th Gen Shuffle seems to do both things you want it to do in that it starts up where ever it last left off and the volume remains set the same as well.
    So the next question is, when you shut it off, are you also plugging it into your computer to sync up? Vs. Simply shutting it off, then turning it back on a little bit later without ever having plugged it into your computer.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit on a TouchSmart Elite 7320 drivers and apps issues

    First off, very few of the 64-bit Windows 7 Drivers on the HP site work, but I was eventually able to get it working for the most part.
    My issue is that they would like to have the HP apps installed (what used to be called the Smart Center and the Cyberlink apps).  I have tried to find them on the HP site and, of course, no luck.
    I have even tried accessing the Recovery Manager to see if they can be installed from there but it only opens to Explore the files, there is no boot option or executable.
    Any suggestions on how I can get a) valid HP drivers that will work and b) the TouchSmart apps

               My freind welcome to HP forum. What are you doing? My freind you have the right ideal but going about the wrong way. Please follow my direction to the tee. Click on start button then go to all programs search box . In the search box type in recovery manager. Now above it will be listed now open this one up.  Select Software Program Reinstallation click next in next window bing go list is now open now at a time select your software. Now you have selected software to you see that button on bottom of list called Next click it.  Bingo Presto! Please follow wizards commands. You can only install one program at a time so repeat steps as many time it takes.
          Now for divers do the same steps above but this time select Hardware  Driver Reinstallation.
    If for some reason this should fail then I suggest you do a full recovery from recovery disc you made because your (D Drive is corrupted. By sounds of in your post it is. Or you can order a set of recovery disc from HP's parts store.   • Volume and app bug on Amber L920 (with video)

    so, up to date Lumia 920, during music playback volume goes all the way down and won't go up without a restat. It happened again after a restart. As you can see, all sorts of things go wild because the volume got stuck, back button stopped working for starters.

    Also, i used to have a black 920, prior to Amber, then i occasionaly had the volume going down problem, but never going down to 0 and getting stuck there and never all the other stuff that happens.
    Not to mention that 2 reboots drained over 20% of my battery, which is also silly.

    We have just released an update to webOS, which does address several concerns from 1.4, so I would recommend first updating to the most current version, then see if the problems with the volume slider and camera app continue.
    If you do continue to see this, you may need to contact technical support for further troubleshooting.

  • Droid Maxx- texting and app issues

    My Droid Maxx has been giving me hell lately. I haven't received texts in over a month now, even though my inbox is empty and I have full bars. I receive calls just fine. I get random notifications that certain apps aren't working, like messaging and windows live.

    I first noticed this issue last Friday, it has been occurring consistently since then. I can send text messages, however I can not receive. Several people have sent messages that never arrive. I have had the phone for on about 3 months. Love this phone, until this issue. Like other posts, I have cleared cache, etc. Tried the Verizon Messaging App and even deleted all of my texting history. I am still getting the pop up. Spent 1.5 hrs on the phone with Verizon level two support on Saturday, still no fix. Clearly, others are experiencing the same problem. Where does Verizon\
    Motorola stand on this issue?

    Does anyone know what would cause the track volume to automatically go up during recording sessions?   
    And what would cause my midi devices to automatically disconnect when launching Garage Band?

    Seeing that Nokia does not give a solution to this, it seems that Nokia does not care about their customers the only thing I did was look for a third party music player and found the Alon Dictaphone, it has an integrated equalizer and sounds very good (better than Nokia preinstalled music player).
    I saw in other forums that there is coming the 3... update for the E61, BE CAREFULL; if this happened to us with the 2.. update, what can we expect from Nokia in further updates?? no support, very bad from Nokia. Now I am thinking to sell this E61 I have and buy a HP mobile messenger with windows mobile operating system, I`ve been told that is very good and also that HP brings to their customers very good attention and support, that´s not the case in Nokia sadly.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

  • Finder Issue and App Issue

    What can I do to not have the Finder window appear after starting up or restart? I only want the desktop to appear not Finder windows.
    I have an application that sometimes will not quit even though it will disappear from the screen. Noticing in the dock it is still open. It will not force quit after these incidents as well. I always have to restart the computer to close it.

    The Finder is always open and as Barbara suggest if you close all Finder windows prior to shutting down or restarting then you should only see your desktop after startup.

  • Facing issues with 3g Mobile Data Usage Current Period and Apps Volumes are differ.

    Hi All,
              i am facing some data mismatch with my iphones. the actual mobile data usage volume and data usage for Apps volumes are showing different data.
    for eg : Mobile Data Usage - Current Data Usage - Current Period volumes showing 342 MB but if i check the  Use Mobile Data For Apps Volumes for all Apps including System Service Data's and Uninstalled Data's are showing very less ( around 200 MB only ) compare with Current Period Volumes.
    Mobile Data Usage - Current Data Usage - Current Period  and Use Mobile Data For Apps ( Apps wise data usage ) Data's are not matching..
    Please let me know will it show like that only or its an issue ????  if you want i can share the screen shot as well.

    Apple does not repair devices beyond replacing the screen on some models or a battery replacement.  They replace the ENTIRE device.
    For the Out of Warranty replacement cost, you could have gotten a fully functional replacement device.  Instead you chose to spend less to get only the screen replaced and continue to live with additional issues.
    Apple will not touch the device now.  They will know that it was opened elsewhere and that the replacement screen is not original.
