Warp Stabilizer error: Unable to acquire rendered frame

Hi,
I am trying to apply Warp Stabilizer to a clip. Analyze process starts but then halts after 15-20 frames and a pop-up appears "Unable to acquire rendered frame".
I have previously used Warp without any hitches.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard

I too get this, sometimes not and the analyze just drops without a word, but most of the time I get the error. I tried on material such as: Red r3d, uncompressed fullHD/SD, mp4, canon 7D etc. pretty much all formats there is, so there isn't a problem with what type of files or what GOP structure it got. I cannot solve this even by creating a new project or reboot, I even reinstalled AE and the Matrox drivers, I tried unplugging the MXO2 mini but got the same result, so I'm pretty much done testing, I tried everything I can think of. I allocated RAM differently, shut of multiprocessing, enabled it, more RAM to few cores and then less RAM to more cores, increased cashe, disabled it.
Sometimes when I let the footage play out with RAM preview, the analyze gets to the end in the background, but whenever I just let it work for itself it drops.
So I tried everything and the error still persist. What should I do?

  • "unable to acquire rendered frame" error message with AE CS6 Motion Tracker

    Hi Everyone,
I am having issues with the built in tracking software in After Effects CS6. Everytime I hit "analyze" I receive the error message "unable to acquire rendered frame" or it simply remains at "0% (frame 1 of 70)". Sometimes I get the message "unable to obtain dynamiclink server connection". I've tried different types of footage, re-started, re-installed the software, deleted (emptied) the database and caches, started a fresh composition, and even did a fresh install of OSX but nothing works. Any ideas? I've searched a lot of forums on this and I've seen the problem in similiar situations (same error message with Warp Stabilizer analysis) but nobody seem to have found any resolution.
I'm running AfterEffects CS6 on Mac OS 10.8.
Processor  2.93 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    Memory  8 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB
    Downloaded all the latest updates.
Done all the usual emptying of caches, repaired disk permissions, re-installation of software, etc.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you.

What firewall/antivirus software are you using?
After Effects communicates with the background camera tracker process using TCP, and some overly aggressive firewall/antivirus software can block this communication. That may be the problem in your case.

  • Warp Stabilizer error when using dynamic link

    Hey guys,
So I'm very new to video editing, and not surprisingly, I'm running into problems.  I'm trying to use dynamic link to allow me to Warp Stabilize and color correct video clips in a Premiere Pro project.  When I try to apply the Warp Stabilizer (through dynamic link) in After Effects, I get this error message:
After Effects error: Stabilization analysis doesn't work with Collapse Transformations (514)
    (25 :: 101)
I read the only other thread on this which linked to the following page:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AfterEffects/9.0/WS064964FC-424C-4e5a-A5C3-2160B3DFBCA4a.html
Unfortunately, that didn't help me much.  Maybe the answer is in there somewhere, but if so, its way over my head.  Can anyone give me a simple explanation of why this doesn't work?  I feel like it should be a simple solution so I don't have to go through the process of importing into AE, render, export, import to Premeire Pro, and replace the clip there, blah blah.  This is what dynamic link is for, right??  Thanks for any advice you guys have!

Not sure I properly understand you...
As for me, the solution is in AE warning message - just disable Collapse Transformations switch in your AE precomp...

    Hi ,
I have created a  10 captivate  movies and published them ( there are no quizzes attached to them however there is interaction in the movies as users have to enter correct text responses, click boxes etc).
I have then used  presenter 09 in articulate and used the insert flash movie option, made sure that I selected the SKIN file , copied the remaining captivate files in
before publishing I ensured that the there was no bookmarks, unchecked the options open in anew bower  window,   when running in LMS ignore flash cookie. I then zipped the whole folder and uploaded and selected the index.html file .
When I am using articulate with no captivate movies I do not get the error, when I include a captivate movie I get the error. I have looked at all the blogs and have updated the scorm manifest files tried republishing but to no avail. I have tried republishing and with a  click box and the reporting boxes checked again to no avail.
After 6 hours of trying I am now starting to pull  my hair out and doubt my sanity  is there anyone out there that can help  it would truly be grateful.
The e log message is attached and is as clear as mud to me!!!!

Your course is set to be SCORM-compliant.
Upload your course to an SCORM-compliant LMS or SCORM Cloud (https://cloud.scorm.com) and test. You will not get the error. It has nothing to do with trial license expiry.

  • Getting the Error - unable to acquire LMS API while running in a SABA LMS

I have seen this post before in the forum, but the solution is usually pretty simple.  The person is trying to run a project published for a SCORM 1.2 LMS off of their desk top or some other location not connected to an LMS.  But in this case, my project is packaged to run on a SCORM 1.2 LMS and this error is occurring within the LMS when the course launches.  You can click on the "OK" button in the error dialog box and the course runs - although as the LMS administrator points out - the course also does not bookmark.  I think maybe a connection?  Has anyone encountered this?  This is Captivate 8 running in IE off of a SABA LMS. In accordance with the LMS admin, it is packaged for SCORM 1.2. Thanks for any help!

First good troubleshooting step to testing these sorts of API/LMS issues is to test the package in another LMS.
The most common suggestion is SCORM Cloud:
Scorm Cloud SCORM Cloud - A simpler way to deliver e-learning - SCORM
Or an LMS with free trial accounts, perhaps:
Inquisiq R4 - Learning Management System
Whichever tool, does your package still have the same issues with those other LMS?
If so, something is likely indeed wrong with the package.
If not, then the issue is likely with the Saba LMS.
In general, issues like this are often related to framesets. CP should search the browser windows for the API. If it can't find it, something may be interfering with that API 'hunt'.
Many LMS products log such communication so you can trace the errors. Ask you Saba Admin if there's any log/trace available you could examine?

  • Warp Stabilizer dropping

I have tried dropping the Warp Stabilizer on a number of different types of media files, 7D, uncompressed 1080 25p, 23,97, interlaced, progressive, mp4, Red r3d, DNxHD, Animation... you name it. Sometimes I get an error "Unable to aquire rendered frame" which pops out three times after eachother before dropping the analyze part. Other times, it just stops without any message at all, going back to "press analyze to start analyzing".
It's frustrating because I need to babysit a lot of rendering and I often have to reanalyze after it drops out right in the end. I have set up the RAM accordingly to each thread and everything and other functions within AE seems to work fine, just not the warp stabilizer.
I have searched for answers and just found another thread in here that speaks of the "Unable to aquire rendered frame" message, but no answers in there.
So what is this? Maybe it needs to be patched?

    My system specs are:
    Intel i7 3,7 Ghz
    16 Gb RAM
    Geforce GTX580 3Gb
    Primary disk: Intel SSD
    Win 7 Pro
AE is up to date, footage as mentioned is from a lot of sources, so source files doesn't matter.
It's stored locally and are streamed through a 6Gb/s eSata.
It dops out randomly whenever it analyzes. If I babysit it and press "analyze" every time it drops out of analyzing, then after a while I seem to get it analyzed, but I can't sit infront of it if I have a lot of clips going through stabilization.

  • Warp Stabilizer flicker, software renderer does nothing

I started this project on CC 2014, then migrated it up to CC 2014.1. I have tried exporting a couple sequences from it multiple times, with different output codecs (uncompressed, Cineform, H.264), and all of the results are the same: flickering video and noisy audio.
I have isolated the flicker to the Warp Stabilizer-effected shots, but no sequence setting changes or conversion to Software renderer over CUDA renderer makes any difference in the output. The audio also outputs as digital noise (sounds like when you listen to a data CD in an old CD player).
It is not an option to go through and re-add all of the Warp Stabilizer effects to see what different that makes, there are too many of them on the various clips in the project.
This affects both Premiere AND Media Encoder, so it's looking very difficult to get a quality render out of this.
    Please help!

I'm using MPE GPU acceleration. When I use software only I actually get a lot more render errors and the flicker worsens.

  • Warp Stabilizer Questions

    Hello,
I have been using Warp Stabilizer in the CS6 release of Premiere Pro.  I've noticed 2 things:
    1)  I have a sequence with a clip using Warp Stabilizer effect that has been rendered.  If I add a clip directly after it and add a cross dissolve transition, it requires the entire first clip to be re-rendered.  On complex stabilizations, this can take hours to days.  Is there any way to have it only require a re-render of the impacted portion of the clip instead of the entire thing?
    2) If I set my work area to a complex clip (synthesize edges, detailed analysis) with Warp Stabilizer and render the entire work area, it appears the efficiency goes down.  I'm not sure how this is possible, but the estimates of completion time (and watching the elapsed time vs percentage compete) seems to indicate that it may exist.  If I segment the work area to smaller regions in the clip and work my way through it, the total clock time to complete seems to be much faster.  In one example, it seems to go from 80+ hours down to about 12 hours.  In both cases it takes 100% of the CPU (8 cores) and a large portion of the ram (8-9+ GB).  I believe the performance options are set correctly.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,
I hope you get a good answer from the gurus at ADOBE on this one. I use ProDADS Mercalli V2+ Stablizer in Cs5.5.2 with 4 cores Xeon processor, i suggest you trial it as I have had no issues with the exception of cutting the clip after stablization, do it befor hand. I was thinking of upgrading to 6.1 ?

  • Warp Stabilizer CS6 scales down last frame

    Hey,
Every time I add the Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro CS6, it auto-scales the footage, except for the last frame. It just changes to 100% again, so I'll just have to cut it off. Any others experiencing this issue, or any ways to solve it?
    Thanks in advance.
Edit: turns out it's probably not the warp stabilizer, but the position. When I adjust the position, the same thing happens, and since the stabilizer changes the position, the position will probably be causing the issue. Keyframing is disabled.

This strikes me as a bug that hasn't been corrected.
Is there a way to see if it has even been reported? (I don't want to add a redundant bug report).
I'm having what I think is the same- or similar - problem in PPro CC.
    Machine: Windows 7 Pro,
    i7-3930K @ 3.20 GHz with 32 GB memory
    nVidia GeForce GTX 670.
Both CC and CS 6 installed.
I have a single clip of video footage exactly 19 seconds  (00;00;19;00)  long in Track V1.
I have added the Warp Stabilizer effect to Track V1, let it analyze and stabilize, and when playing, the last frame is "chopped off" by a noticeable percentage.
When selecting the Effect Controls tab, the Opacity keyframe icon is "active", though still set at 100%.
I lowered the clip Opacity, moved the pointer a few seconds to the left via left-arrow, and re-played.
The last frame is still chopped off.
I returned the clip Opacity to 100%, moved the pointer a few seconds to the left, and re-played.
The frame is still chopped off.
This "solution" appears to have no effect for me.
I also need the Timecode effect for this same clip, and have noticed strange things with it.
Although my footage in Track V1 is exactly 19:00,
    - AFTER I've added the Warp Stabilizer effect to Track V1, AND
    - have added an Adjustment Layer to Track V2 in the sequence, AND
    - have added the Timecode effect to the Adjustment layer in Track V2,
when I point to the last frame, the Timecode effect shows 18:29, not 19:00. After moving 1 frame to the left, i.e. hitting left-arrow once. the Timecode also shows 18:29. so the Timecode is showing the same numbers twice.
It seems that the Timecode effect is somehow "losing track" of what frame is being displayed.(Is it "counting from '1' instead of '0')?
    Any help available in this?
I've even gone so far as to:
    1) change, i.e. lower, the Opacity, save the project, then return the Opacity to 100%, then saved the project again; last frame still "chopped off".
    2) once the opacity was lowered, I've also rendered the sequence, saved the project, then returned the Opacity to 100%, and re-rendered, but the problem remains.
    3) I even "cleared" both the Warp Stabilizer effect from the footage clip, AND the clip from within the sequence, then added the clip back to the sequence WITHOUT the Warp Stabilzer effect, then pointed at the final frame, and that final frame is STILL chopped off.
For this project, I'm "sticking" with CC, because I'm working on it from both my home studio and another location which has only CC.
I haven't checked CS6 to see if the Warp Stabilizer and Timecode effects are working correctly, but both seem to have gone a little "haywire".
Is there some other way to fix the problem of the last frame being "chopped off"?

  • Error with warp stabilizer

I've graded a couple of clips from DaVinci Resolve and exported as ProRes 4444 from sony F55 RAW.
Now I'm importing them in my Premiere Pro CC timeline, edit them and apply warp stabilizer.
The effects analyzes correctly the video, but when I try to export them (via Premiere, Media Encoder or After Effects) I get a generic error.
I tried to export the clips as ProRes 422 files but get the same error. Without the warp stabilizer the timeline renders without issues.
Does someone know how to solve this issue?
    Thanks

  • Premiere actually rendered "Frame not analyzed for stabilization; press analyze" on the actual video?!

When you put the Warp Stabilizer on some footage, it will ask you to analyze the footage so that it can stabilize it.
Some of my clips, apparently, went unanalyzed and when I rendered my video (which took several hours), my rendered footage actually has the "Frame not analyzed for stabilization; press analyze" blue warning in it. The warning rendered as if it were part of the film itself.
Is this supposed to happen? This is truly shocking.
Moreover, I would have expected that the render process would have gone through and analyzed all the footage and applying all the effects before outputting the final product.

  • Adobe Premiere CC 2014.2: losing rendered files when using warp stabilizer

    Hi,
I am constantly losing rendered files when using the warp stabilizer. So far I have tried about every hint I could find on the web such as cleaning the cache, rebuilding the rendered files, creating additional sequences etc etc.
Honestly I am getting tired of using a product that isnt cheap in the first place to rent and where a bug like this apparently persists over several product versions without being fully fixed (I have had this problem throughout 2014 but according to forum postings others seem to have problems with much earlier versions as well).
I would be really grateful if somebofy has any suggestion how this can be addressed.
I am also happy to help testing fixes - if there are any fixes available.
Thanks a lot and Happy New Year!

    Hi Catherine,
    Welcome to the Adobe forums.
Please try the steps mentioned below and check if it works for you.
    1. Launch Premiere Pro and create a Project, go to File menu>Project Settings>Renderer and change the Renderer to Software only mode, delete previews if you get a prompt and then try to import the clip.
    2. If step 1 fails or the Renderer is already on Software only mode, go to Start Menu and search for Device Manager, go into Display Adapters and Right click on the Graphics card to select Update driver software option, on the next screen choose "Browse my computer for driver software", then choose "Let me Pick from a list..." option and from the list select "Standard VGA Graphics adapters. You might need to change the screen resolution of your screen and once done restart the machine again.
Launch Premiere Pro and import the clip to check.

  • Renderfarm error: Pre-Flight Error: Unable to import previously rendered file

I have an error message I am receiving during network rendering on a  renderfarm, and was hoping for some help. The error is this: "Pre-Flight  Error: Unable to import previously rendered file."
Here is my setup and some details:
The user makes a comp, and adds it to the render queue set to render as a  quicktime movie file. Then they run a script which precomps everything  and sets it to render as a image sequence with "Skip existing files"  checked. This comp also has a post-render action set to import &  replace usage. After this comp is rendered, it gets pulled back into the  project and the original render item starts rendering the movie file  using the previously rendered image sequence as it's only layer.
This project gets saved to a server where our render nodes are watching  the folder. All the render nodes pick up the project and proceed to  render the image sequence. Then, after they are done, 1 machine will  pick up the second render item and begin rendering the image sequence  into the final quicktime movie.
All of this goes smoothly about 90% of the time. However, in some cases  an error shows up in the watch folder html page for the 2nd render item  (the one converting the image sequence to the movie). The error says  "Pre-Flight Error: Unable to import previously rendered file." After the  error occurs, no machines will start rendering the project.
My first guess is that the render engine on one machine somehow skips  rendering the image sequence comp, and then tries to render the  quicktime movie comp and fails because the image sequence has not yet  been rendered. However, I can't figure out why After Effects would skip  rendering the first comp.
    Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks for the help, and let me know if you have any more questions about the setup,
    Adam

Well, you should get used to the fact that it's simply gone... Just looking at your screenshot makes me grind my teeth. From delayed writing of files to fragmentation in user folders to Windows doing obscure things this could be anything, but seriously, saving important files on the desktop? That is simply sloppy data management. There is no other way to say it. Read up on what proper file naming, incremental saving and backups are good for and why keeping work files separate and away from your user home directories is actually a quite simple, yet effective concept to avoid exactly that kind of issue.

  • OpenCL warp stabilizer renders in a small box in the top left corner

    Hi everyone,
I have just built a new computer with the following specs:
    Premiere 8.1.0 (81) build
    i7 4790s haswell-refresh,
    16gb Corsair RAM (4x4 DDR3 1600),
    Gigabyte Z97MX Gaming 5
    2x A-Data SP920 128gb SSD
    Sapphire Radeon HD 7750
    Windows 8.1 Pro CZ
Now I know this is a very weak configuration compared to other builds here, but I had hoped it would work fine for my amateur Full-HD workflow of clips mostly under 30mins.
The problem is; when I enable OpenCL acceleration, then all clips with warp stabilizer become about 1/4 of the preview window; it carries over to the final render. I have tried this both with the AMD card and without it (having OpenCL enabled with the Intel HD4600). No avail.
Now the funny part is that I used to have this same card running in my previous system; running on an obsolete Gigabyte UD3 with Core i5 750 in it and... IT WORKED! It was with the same Premiere version, running on the same OS. I've ditched that computer just a few days ago, but my new computer has this inexplainable problem.
The build is not the issue, as I had the computer tested and everything is stable with decent temperatures.
I am also having quite a lot of crashes while editing, but I think that's due to the infamous RedGiant suite which as I read on the forums is likely to blame. It's ok, i just need to save often. Would Neat Video be better? Does anybody know?
Another problem is the sluggishnes and lags when my clip reaches beyond 30 mins; I don't think that's ok, my videos produced with EOS M should not be anything demanding for this setup; when I monitor the ram usage, it never gets above 8gb (and yes, I have allowed CC to use up to 13gb of the total ram); also other resources are almost idle during editing.
The sluggishnes and lag is however even worse in SpeedGrade; over there when I move any slider, I need to wait for seconds! It somehow improves over time, but again, I just have an opinion now that this software suite is very very badly made. I am happy I am not using this to make money...
Please correct me if I'm wrong and any links that could help me resolve the problems are super-welcome.
    regards,
    Jan

Thanks for the report. We believe we have identified the issue and are working on a fix. For now the workaround is rendering in Software mode.

  • Warp stabilizer counting much more frames than actually exists...

    Hello, everyone!
I've just installed Premiere CC 2014 and I'm having problems with Warp Stabilizer... I'm trying to use it in clip with 25s and 24fps, but when I click "Analyze" it shows 1035764 frames! Also, it will take 2560 minutes to analyze it all! Doing the math, it should have only something like 600 frames and take much less time...
I know this stabilizer is very buggy, but I couldn't find a solution for this. Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance!

Well, for some random reason, if I replace each file for itself the bug disappear, i had to do this one by one. If anyone have the same problem, try doing this.
This solves the problem for now, but it took some time to discover and to solve it. Hope it doesn't happen again.
