I have 10 years of experience in construction industry.My area of expertise is in project management.I before 5 years I have a strong desire to work in IT industry. But not able to get a chance.But I need a career profile change to IT industry. So I choose to do SAp ps leaning *** certification from authorised training partner. module.please suggest
1. whether this is advisable.
2. Whether I need to resign from my current job.
3. What salary I can expect from SAP job profile, as my current salary is 7 to 8 lacs.
4. Whether I will get a job immediately after certification.
5. Howmuch SAP PS certification Job requirement in market.

Hi all,
In the control tab of a WBS element, I am trying to change it from non-statistical to statistical. However, the checkbox is grayed out and not allowing me.
I have tried using transaction CNMASS for this but I am getting error CJ727: Changing the contents of the field is not permitted
How can I resolve this?

i guess you have released the wbse. so system will not allow to indicate the statistical check box. as per standard you
have the indicate the check box before you release the wbse.
if you haven't the wbse then check the field status of statistical in opuk.

Career in SAP after 42 Years

Dear Experts,
I'm in a dilemma over entering into domain of SAP at 42 years age.
I'm a BCom Degree holder working in a IT company in Finance Department having 10 years of experience in Finance only. I am in AP Function. I am now 42 years planning to change my career to SAP as a Consultant
Is this a right decision at this age.
Can anyone please guide me through the various options available in SAP finance and the career prospects

In SAP FI probably there is a chance of getting into the role of a consultant; getting a job and flourishing (saying on the basis of your strong domain experience).
But in general, 40+ it is an uphill to start a Functional career, office dynamics, age and ego clashes etc. etc. have made many experienced people leave SAP and return back to domain.
If you desire is strong and will persevere, then by all means go for it.

Changing an asset from non depreciating to depreciating

Good afternoon,
We have an asset which, when created, was non-operational and was created with depreciation key 000. We now need to change the depreciation to the key ZDEP (which is straight line depreciation) from 01.04.2009. Get error message "E662 SYST - you cannot change the depreciation periods"
We think that if we changed the day indicator against 000 to be the same as that against ZDEP it will correct the problem.
Is this the correct solution - if so then what are the implications of existing assets with key 000?
Have you any other solutions?

Hi,
Better way to handle these kind of issue is....
Create a new asset with ZDEP dep key.
And post a asset transfer transaction with ABUMN. (from old asset to new asset) on 01.04.2009.
then check the asset explorer for the new asset, after posting the transfer transaction.

Change materail master from non-split valuated to split valuated (E M3 194)

Valuation category cannot be added in the accounting 1 view when stock is available in the previous period. Is there a way to overcome this?
This is the situation. We have stock materials that are not defined as split valuated until the business requires so. Valuation category cannot be added in the accounting 1 view if stock is available. In this case we issue the stock out, add the valuation category and then return the stock again as split valuated now. However, we still get error M3 194 since we have stock available in the previous period.

I did not find a solution to allow you to change split value back and forth. The SAP check is hard coded and there is nothing you can do about it. However, I found a trick to be able to change it back and forth.
1. Compare your stock figures in this period with the previous period (MM03 accounting view).
Previous period: 20 EA; value $200; MAP $10
Current period: 12 EA; value $144; MAP $12
2. You need to receive/issue stock in the current period to make quantity and value the same in both periods. We have configured special movement types (copy from 501 and 201) to allow pre-priced movements. You only need to make the amount field required for these new movement types.
In this example execute a 501 (use the custom movement type) to receive in the current period 8 EA with a total value of $56. After the movement this is what you have:
Previous period: 20 EA; value $200; MAP $10
Current period: 20 EA; value $200; MAP $10
Accounting: Inv +56
                  Exp -56
3. Make sure you allow posting to the previous period.
4. Issue stock out (201) using postind date in the previous period. After the movement this is the situation:
Previous period: 0 EA; value $0; MAP $10
Current period: 0 EA; value $0; MAP $10
Accounting: Inv -200
                  Exp +200
5. Change your material to split value or non-split valued (MM02)
6. Receive stock back in this period. You need to use the pre-price movement type. Receive the quantity and value so you have the same quantity and value you currently have in stock. In this example we should receive 12 EA with value $144. After the movement this is what you have:
Previous period: 0 EA; value $0; MAP $10
Current period: 12 EA; value $144; MAP $12
Accounting: Inv +144
                  Exp -144

How can I change adapter engine from Non central to central

My adapter engine is assigned as non central. However I want to have the adapter engine as part of the integration server.
If I look in the RWB, the adapter engine listed under the non central adpater engine. However I would like to move it under the Integration server Engine.
Can this be done or do I have to reinstall XI to get the adapter engine grouped with the IS.
Currenty componenets under the domain I have:
1) Integration which has Integration Engine, busines process engine and Mapping runtime.
2) Integration engine are blank, nothing underneath
3) non central adapter engine
my adapter engine here
4) j2se adpater nothing underneath
4) Tools
So what I want to do is move the Non central adapter engine to be underneath the Integration Server.
Any ideas how to do this....withoout a reinstall?

I've never found a way to do this either, and find it very annoying. The suggestion given in this forum does not work (for events created from the iPhone's calendar); that setting seems to be limited to the iCal on the computer itself. Changing a timeline from 24fps to 30 fps after project started

HELP! I've somehow started a project with a 24 fps timeline when it should have 30fps. I just recently noticed my 1080/60i footage was playing back with a bit of a judder and then saw that the timeline had the wrong frame rate.
Anyway I can correct this without losing what I've done? Or start a new project and copy over what I've done?

You may wish to use MPEG Streamclip to convert 24fps to 29.97fps. It seems to work rather well.

Changed Material from non-batch to batch-managed

Batch management for existing material can not be done if it has stock and value.You can keep stock value NIL (By reversing) and then proceed with batch management.Batch Management you doing means , you just subdividing the material according to its characterstics of material.
The Customisation steps are:
1.Create Characterstics,
2.Create Class,
3.In material master, select classification view and tick batch management
4.Go to Logistic General->Batch Management->Batch Det and back Chk->Condition table-> Define Inventory Management Condition table
4.2 . Like wise Define Acess Sequense,
4.3.Strategy Types,
4.4.batch Serch Procedure,
4.5.Batch Srech Procedure and allocation,
4.6..Condition Record: Logistic->Central Function->Batch Management-> Batch Determination->Batch serch Stratergy->For Inventory Manament-> Create
Once you do all customising steps,Then you can receive the material as per you requirement.Example....Lets say H2SO4,you are receiving 98%,70% and 50% purity.According to you requirement and supply from Vendor you can keep in three different batches.This characterstic of material you can maintain in creating the characterstic ,,step-1.

SAP Basis is always in demand and NW admin knowledge will give you more opportunity. Certification on SAP Basis/NW Basis will be an added advantage for you.
Even after 3 years of experience in SAP you will be as a fresher and have to work very hard to tap the knowledge.

Can no longer send/receive MMS from Non-iPhones

Just recently (after I updated my iPhone 4S to the iOS 7.0.4), I have been unable to send or receive MMS messages from anyone who does not have an iPhone. I've tried to restart my phone and reset my network settings (temporary fix - it'll let me send or receive maybe 1 MMS from non-iphone user immediately after restart and/or network settings reset and then it will stop working again). I have no issues sending/receiving through iMessage to iPhone users, but for non-iPhone users, it will say "Not Delivered." This issue is both on Wi-Fi and Cellular Data. Has anyone encountered this same issue --- AND found a solution???? I don't have the option to back-up my data (pics/videos, etc) and do a complete restor of my phone to factory settings - so any solutions not involving that would be greatly appreciated!!

lindajj, Yikes!! I would be so lost without my text messages. I use my text for everything these days. Let's make sure that we get you up and running with no issues. Does everything else work on your cell phone (calls and data)? Are you using the text message application that came on the phone or a 3rd party application from the Play Store? Also, do you get any kind of error messages when you try to send out a text message? Please keep me posted.

You can change the method only when, available Qty becomes zero.
OR
you can do one workaround :
Make Goods Issue of that Item and take value of stock in any GL,
and then change the method of that item, then make Goods Reciept by using that GL which was used in Goods Issue.

Bulk changing all websites from SSL to non-SSL (443 to 80)

While I was cleaning up my Mountain Lion Server, I innocently updated some SSL server certificates.
Shortly afterwards, I found that ALL my HTTP (80) sites didn't work. I went into the Server.app and found that ALL my sites were now using port 443, rather than the port 80 that they were running on.
Since I have over 100 sites, I need to know how to BULK update them back by removing the certificate they were assigned when I updated that specific cert.
How did I update the certificate? I was looking at the Alerts section of the Server.app, that told me that some were expiring. There was a Replace button and that's what I clicked. I was never warned that it would change ALL my sites from having NO certificate to the certification that I replaced.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue quickly, without having to open up EACH site and change the certification to NONE (and thus changing the port back to 80)?

There's no bulk update via the GUI [1], which leaves shutting off Server.app and mass-editing the Apache data.
For a bulk change of 443 to 80, something like this should get you started.
FWIW, Do also confirm whether the port 80 sites are still around in the configuration data, as some web browsers are now selecting 443 whenever that's available.
[1] Yes, I'm probably ignoring scripting via AppleScript here. If I have to script something, it'll be the Apache data and not the GUI, and using bash, Python or other such and likely not AppleScript. Local preference.

As I understand you have a restriction on your PayPal account, unfortunately this is something Skype can't help you with.

When u have created the GL and if you have not activate or deactivate the OPEN ITEM mmanagement.
