WebClient, ICI and CCS

I've got a few issues with our WebClient.  I'm trying to get WebClient running against the CCS for a demo to our supply chain.  Here are the problems I'm having.  First one is that the Work Mode (Ready/Not Ready) is not displayed in the WebClient.  Second, is that the agents that log into the WebCLient are not displayed in the CCS.  I've been through the configuration mutliple times with the same result.  CCS connections test out okay.  The WebClient runs just fine with the exception of the Work Mode not displaying and not connecting to the CCS.  I'm also seeing a "Missing value for XCM config parameter cs.http.port" in the NW log files.
BCB/ICI version: 3.00.64507
J2EE Engine: 7.00 2 cluster elements(1 dispatcher and 1 server)
CCS: 3.00.64507
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Seguin,
I am facing similar issues as you have mentioned above.
I have configured CCS for CRM 2007 the connection test on SM59 shows Status "OK"
But when i log into Interaction center there is no work mode(ready/Not ready)visible.
on checking CRM_ICI_TRACE the following message id displayed-
Exception CX_CRM_MCM_EXCEPTION
Exception text
Message class CRM_IC_APPL_UI_CHMSG
message number 060
message Failed to log on to the communication management software system
Program name CL_CRM_MCM_SESSION============CP
Include name CL_CRM_MCM_SESSION============CM002
row number 323
It looks like the IC does not recognize that CCS is available.
Please let me know how you solved your issues.

Prathiba

We are looking for a site to site model. I want all the devices on the remote network to be on their own subnet. We need to be able to hit individual remote devices from the head end. The devices at the remote site in turn also need to be able to communicate with each other without having to use the VPN.

  • BP creation in CRM WebClient - Role and Number Range assignment

    Hello,
I have the requirement to specify a particular number range and BP role when an Account is created in the CRM WebClient Interface.
For example as standard, when an employee is created through the CRM WebClient (BSP component BP_EMPL) the default employee role (BUP003) and the default number range are assigned to the BP.
I would need to specify a different number range and role to the employee
I've tried to configure the Account Identification profiles (activity "Define Account Identification Profiles" in customizing); with that activity you can specify which role and which number group you want to use for the BP (account) creation. However this customizing is affecting the IC WebClient only and not the CRM WebClient.
I was wondering if a similar customizing activity exists for the CRM WebClient (in particular for the BP_EMPL application), or if there's a way around this.
Anybody has an idea about how to solve this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

    Hi all,
I have done this by defaulting the bp group in the BADi
1.Go to the se18 and select BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS and select the interface IF_UIU_BP_DEFAULTS
    2. Go to the method IF_UIU_BP_DEFAULTS~GET_DEFAULT_VALUES and you can write your logic here to default the grouping.
In my case I wanted all accounts created to be defaulted to a particular grouping and my code looks like this
    lv_name1 = lr_current->get_property_as_string( iv_attr_name ='BP_CATEGORY' ).
                        IF lv_name1 IS NOT INITIAL.
                          IF lv_name1 = '2'.
                            lr_current->set_property( iv_attr_name = 'BP_GROUP'
                                       iv_value = '0060' ).
                          ENDIF.
                        ENDIF.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • What do ICI and IMS stand for?

On MSI's FTP site there seem to be two kinds of BIOS's, some with IMS in the name, others with ICI in the name.
The IMS's seem to be the ones that are publicly available via their website.
The ICI's are typically the ones that are suggested to try if your board shows bad DPC latency results.
Now I'm curious, what do IMS and ACI stand for? And what's the difference between these BIOS's?

/sbin => When it comes to binaries, this directory is where statically linked binaries live - Generally
Just run file against most of the commands you see in that directory.
/bin => This is where the binaries that users and the rest of the system normally use. When it comes to binaries, these are usually but not always dynamically linked type binaries.

  • Oracle Mail webclient error and Oracle Files web error

    Having some problems with Collaboration.
    I've made a single-box installation on a Windows 2000 with SP4.
    The installation was successfully done.
The problems that I have are listed below:
    1) Error in Oracle Mail webclient
When accessing the Oracle Mail webclient, I'm getting the following messages:
"Application Error. An error occurred during log in"
then, when I click im "Mail", I get:
"Application Error. Error occurred while refreshing folder list"
I've tried the steps related in the 247517.1 document, but I'm still getting the same errors.
On the Collaboration Suite start page (when user logs in), the user can see the Oracle Mail portlet whithout any problem:
Welcome to Collaboration Suite Mail, USERID
You have 0 message(s) in Inbox.
    0 unread message(s), 0 voice message(s), and 0 fax message(s).
    2) Oracle Files is not accessible in the HTTP page.
I can access the Files by a FTP client, but when I try the http://host:port/files/app url, iget the 503 error message.
I've seen a lot of messages about this here in Metalik, but none of them could solve my problem.

  • Upgrading from 7.5 to version 8: CEM and CCS problem with the EDMT

    Hi All;
The current UCCE is 7.5 and some scripts and configuration for the CCS and CEM were already done, when I tried to upgrade for version 8 and I used the EDMT version 8 to upgrade the side_A database (logger Database), then an error message appeared which states that CCS and CEM is existed and it should be removed.
After checking, I discover that UCCE version 8 is no more supporting CCS or CEM scripts and configuration.
But, how I can resolve this problem as removing all the related configurations and all the related objects in the scripts and the scripts will be very hard and very complex ... what is the solution to overcome this problem?
I think there should be a proper method or solution from CISCO to resolve this problem.
Looking forward to hear from someone that can help me.

  • Do Not cost and CCS

    Hello Everyone,
Afresh to CO module and have a question on the 'Do Not Cost' indicator on material master data and it's effect on material costing.
I have a raw material that has this indicator marked and the OBYC configuration has GBB - VBR mapped to, say, cost element 123.
Now, when I run CK11N for the finished product (the BOM has the raw material), I get the error message that the cost element 123 is not assigned to a cost component.
I understand this error can be resolved by OKTZ configuration with the 123 cost element and origin group from the material master data.
However, my question is, what is the purpose of 'Do Not Cost' indicator in the material master data and what role does it play in costing of a FG of which the RM is a component ?
I have read the SCN threads on this topic (a lot I would say) but didn't really understand what it means by "If the material is included in another cost estimate as a component to be valuated, the valuation price is determined through the valuation variant if no cost estimate with the same key exists for the material."
So summarizing, my question is "for the costing of a FG with a RM having Do not cost, is OKTZ configuration really required ?"
    Regards,
    -Ani

    Hi
Till now by seeing reply of the other consultants specially of Cristian Sir you may be convinced with your initial query.
Now coming to the your 'Ghost material', I suggest to check OKTZ settings again and see that if the GL hit by this material is asigned in any of the cost components.
If not the check if you have a cost component defined without giving a range of cost elements. You can check this on the screen where we assign the cost elements to the cost components. If that is the case then any cost elements which is not assigned to any of the cost components will automatically go to this blank cost component.
Now coming to its value of .01, please check your valuation variant and check according to the strategies defined for material valuation one by one. You will definitely find this some where. Or else paste the screen of accounting 1,2 and costing 1 and 2 tabs of material master along with the  valuation variant first screen i.e. strategy for material valuation.

  • IC Webclient: Stylesheet and Themes

    Hello,
I would like to adapt IC Weblient's stylesheets.
I have changed stylesheets according to "Consultant's Cookbook" page 105:
    BSP-appliction "ic_base" -> MIMEs -> stylesheets.
Unfortunately it looks like I cannot change completetly the css-layout of the adapted IC Webclient application.
Is it possible, that addititonally I have to change HTMLB-styles, so that I get my desired CI-styles. Do I have to assign a separate theme to my Z-BSP-application?
Thanks for your help in advance,

Solved. It is the client JRE runtime version issue, downgrade the JRE from 1.5.0_5 to 1.4.2_11, then the agent mode radio buttons appear.

  • ICI adaptor development--need spec and WSDL file

Hi, I'm trying to develop a adaptor between ICI and our contact center software. I have the V3.0.3 spec for ICI but couldn't find the WSDL file anywhere.
    Thanks

    Hello Beigen,
You can find the newest ICI document at:
SAP CRM Integrated Communication Interface (CA-ICI) [original link is broken] > “Integrated Communication Interface”
    or directly
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b075ad90-0201-0010-6a99-fac1a256ac39
However, we only have the WSDL as part of version 3.01.  The newer version is being worked on but no plan date yet.
With the ICI version that you can access above, you will be able to see more examples and detail how to implement the ICI adapter.  The most efficient way would be to contact the SAP certification center to get more information.   Hope this helps.

  • SAPPHONE (OR) ICI.

    Dear all,
We want to enable E-mail functionality through our CIC Webclient. But we are using SAPPHONE interface to connect to AVAYA (CTI) system.
As my understanding from SAP Help documentation that, ICI supports Telephony and E-mail functionlities. ICI is inbuilt component of SAP WEB APPLICATION SERVER (J2EE Engine).
Now SAPPHONE has installed in a seperate system and we are running our tests on it.
As per our basis consultant we need seperate hardware (server) to install ICI and one more server for TREX. He said ICI does cost our company additionally to implement.
I went through some documentation which speaks of 'Certification' for each channel. As a SAP Customer do we need to go for Certification? or Telephony Vendor (AVAYA) will take care of it?
Do we need to buy ICI interface?
Do we really need seperate server for ICI?
Why do we need TREX server?
How can SAPPHONE interface supports E-mail functionality?
In a Call Center Project, whose responsibility to configure and setup CIC interface with CTI system?
I am totally confused about the architecture of total setup.
Please help me to understand these process and connectivity in a very clear manner.
Each suggestion and solution will be highly appreciated
    Best wishe

    Hi Anrei,
Thanks, I read through the help document besides trying find other documents in help.sap.com.
I guess I got it. SAPphone is a component inside CRM server as indicated by below help document:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/28/797b14a9cf4296b02742f641c18971/content.htm
The CRM Server includes the IC WinClient framework and the following SAP applications:
    ·        SAPphone
SAPphone provides a telephony function to the interaction center. It allows data to be exchanged between the CRM Server and the telephony component.
    ·        SAPconnect
SAPconnect provides an integrated e-mail function to the interaction center. It enables communication management software to connect to the SAP system (for example, an e-mail server or SMTP server).
Although it is a help document for CRM 4.0, I think CRM 5.0 should have the similar archtechture.
I would score you as helpful, however, I still would like to see whether I could get answers for below points:
Is SAP CRM a mandatory component of ECC 6.0? In fact, I do not find it in 'Component version' inside our system.
Is SAPPHONE quite out-of-date and with limited support?
Do we need install new hardware for SAPPHONE?
    Thanks.

  • How to Configure E-mail and Chat functionalities

    Dear all,
How to configure E-mail and Chat functionalities for IC Webclient.
through IC Webclient ICI interface how can we configure E-mail functionality, As per my understanding, E-mails can be handled in a similar way of receiving phones.
Where these E-mails can be stored?, Where we define agent E-mail id?
being ICI is a multi channel support does it need SMPT server support? If No, would there be any difference in the functionality?
    How does CHAT functionality works?
Please educate in above scenarios to get a better understanding.
