Webgui - save local file error

Hi,
I have a problem with the "save local file" (Excel) in the fictional MSS mentioned in webgui.
In particular I set tcode fpb_launchpad_cust Application Cate as URL that invokes a service (SICF) custom, which within a custom tcode. to customize the display and leave intact the standard webgui.
The log of the local JVM tells me:

in SICF doesn't exist.

Hi Diego,
First you should implement SAP note 742197 to have a JAR file with a valid certificate.
Once you have implement this note then you need to republish the WEBGUI and the IAC internet services via SE80. This [Wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/kmE] should help you in this process.
Finally, invalidate mimes in SITSPMON and clear IE cache.
What is the result of a new test?
BTW, the Query.class is inside the WS.JAR file.

Same issue here. Running Windows Vista Home Premium Edition and newest version of iTunes. Normally happens when I am ripping a CD into iTunes and by chance multi task or the screen saver kicks in.
What ***** is if you walk away while ripping a CD(because it takes 3 times as long in iTunes vs any other ripper), and it will halt your ripping until you click "ok". I have not tried the "dont tell me again" check box just in case it is a problem I need to know about. This happened about 2 or 3 days after upgrading to Vista and I got an empty library the next time I opened the library. Somehow it got corrupted. Luckily I back up the xml file and just restored that one file from last back up.
(off subject but also getting the maxed our processor still in the newest version for Windows Vista. Wish they would fix that!)

I have done the ALV Report and i am used 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' Functional module.
after Execute the Report System --->List------> Save-----> Local file (Option is Disables ).
How can i corret This...

An ALV Grid is not a displayed spool (this is not REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY) so the System options are not available, but look at menu List, Export or Send to (or List, Print).

System>List>Save-->Local File since we updated to ECC6

I wrote the code as below to check download authorization:
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'S_GUI'
ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '60'. " '61'.
if sy-subrc <> 0.
write: 'do not have authorization'.
else.
write: 'have authorization'.

Both cases the result is 'have authorization'.
Is it correct?

After patch application, the option of saving su53 screen to a local file is disabled.(system>list>save>local file).

About save local file

hi expert:
i open file saved via system->save->local file-> spreadfile
almost line item can be displayed correctly..
but some records are hidden into the description field of previous entry.
perhaps some special character exist in description field
for example : " [].
So anybody met similar problem..
your suggestion will be appreciated

Hi Kevin,
File will automatically be saved as TAB Delimited format.
Try saving file as xls by opening the file FILE--> SAVE AS, change file type as .XLS and save it.
If this does not solve the problem, open blank Excel sheet and use Data --> Import External data --> Import data option from Excel and select the file you have downloaded from SAP.

"couldn't save media file" error when saving

I'm using Keynote 2.0.2 and for some reason, it won't let me save my presentation when it includes a 3.3Gb quicktime .mov file.
The presentation runs perfectly on my laptop, but when I save, the spinning ball appears and then I get this:
"The following errors occurred while trying to save this document:
Couldn't save media file - week3edit.mov"
This is driving me nuts, especially as I can insert exactly the same .mov file into a PowerPoint presentation and have it save no problem!
What could be causing this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Use only numbers or letters in the file name. I've
seen failures in files that use even simple
punctuation. Cynthia's sound.mov should be
cynthias_sound.mov.
The other issue could be "protected" files. You can't
share iTunes Music Store files. If the file extension
is .m4p the file is protected.
These are .mp4 files that I converted. No copyright issues. And there is a space in the file name, but there are in all the other file names as well.

ITunes "cannot save library file" error in Vista

I just began ripping my latest pile of cd's into iTunes on my new Vista Media Center PC. Occasionally I get the popup "The iTunes library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for thei operation" I checked and double checked the security on all of the iTunes files and folders, and not only do I (the system administrator), but also SYSTEM and Everyone have full access to the folder and files. My library is in C:\Users\Jerry\Music\iTunes\ , which is the default installation directory selected by iTunes. I have almost 11,000 songs, and I have already completely rebuilt the library in this version of iTunes as a means to try to resolve this problem. I am on iTunes 7.2.0.16 , everything on the PC is up to date, and I see nothing that makes this error seem correct. Has anyone else seen this, and do you have a fix? Can't save a file; error message says file couldn't be opened

Using Pages '09 ver. 4.3 and OSX 10.8.4
When I try to save a new document in pages, I get an error message that says "the file 'xxxx.pages-tef" couldn't be opened.
How can I fix this so that I can start saving files again?

Create a blank document

Select Mac Device and find your user folder or favorite, Desktop (not iCloud)

Usually a well written error message offers a suggestion as to what you might do about it?
Since it says opened and I clicked on Save, there is a bug in there somewhere.
All I was trying to do today was copy and paste some text from a website into numbers spreadsheet
Both Edit > Paste options but the text in one cell so I tried to save it as a text file first to try and import the data
Text Edit does not have a text only export format so before loading Terminal and starting vi or emacs, I tried pages. I'll go try XCode's editor or my Windows 7 vm with notepad and openoffice
I miss the old Pages with the Appleworks importer, this one needs more Quality Assurance Testing IMHO

PSB Save, 2gb file error

Hi all,
I'm on PS CC, trying to save a PSB file (360"x360"). I know that PSD won't work with something this size, which is why i'm trying to save as PSB. I've purged, converted to/from 8/16 bit, flattened and everything, but every time I save, I get the "larger than 2gb error". Am I doing something wrong? Is there an issue/formatting thing i'm not aware of?
Trying to get this thing to print by EOD, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible that the hard Drive is formatted using the FAT format which has a limit of about 2 GB. So this will all depend on what OS you have and it's format.
But all I can do for now is guess.

Save XML file error permission

When I´m in debug mode, everything is fine, but when I generate a Executable installer (native installer), it doesn´t work.

That's explicitely marked in documentation to not use "applicationDirectory" for write (updates/modification/deletion/etc), e.g.:
The File class includes static properties that let you reference commonly used directory locations. These static properties include:
File.applicationStorageDirectory—a storage directory unique to each installed AIR application
File.applicationDirectory—the read-only directory where the application is installed (along with any installed assets)
and later on the same page:
Modifying content in the application directory is a bad practice, for security reasons, and is blocked by the operating system on some platforms. If you want to store application-specific data, consider using the application storage directory (File.applicationStorageDirectory).

So as pointed in docs you could use applicationStorageDirectory as location where you application-specific content is to be stored/created/updated/written/etc.
(otherwise everything works fine when running local ADT/debug session - but it could fail at any time when deployed)

Scan Save to File error

When scanning to file, I get this error message: an error occurred saving the images to the chosen location. Please make sure you have write permission in the chosen file location. Error 8, [ (2 106,0) ]. Have installed the latest drivers; set sharing to everyone on destination folder. Help please.

Save XML File Error

I was trying to replace a Node in an XML file (see attached VI - LV 2010), but for some reason the Load or Save XML VI's are changing the format of the XML Header (only by a couple of \n characters, but enough for the application reading the XML file to say it is corrupt). In the Load XML VI I have left all the Inputs at their default values (ie. Preserve Whitespace) so why is the file being modified?
What the original file header contents look like.....

Believe me I have tried all possible variations of the inputs to the NI_XML.lvlib:Load XML File.vi, none of them make a difference. Also the Block Diagram of this VI doesn't help much since it is just a couple of Property and Invoke Nodes so nothing to debug really.

Note: I had to change the extension of the attached file from *.mtr to *.txt since the website says it is not a valid extension for an attachment.

Hi,
I got error while saving screen output by menu
System -> list -> save -> Local file -> Spread sheet
The error code was
"You are not authorized to save lists in local files(SY-SUBRC 12)
Please let me know,which auth is needed for the same?

our customer needs to run the report RFBELJ00 in a background job and wants to save the selected data in a local text file (because of certified accountant). Is there a possibility to do so? or maybe another report who delivers the same result and can save it in an local file instead of printing it?
I tried to save the data in a pdf.-file. This is not exactly what the customer wants but it didn't work too.

Yes you can do it. Execute the report in the background. Once the execution is complete. Go into SM37 and execute. Select the completed job and click on Spool button. Select the spool and click on display button, the report output will be displayed.
Now click from the menu follow either of the two paths:
1. Spool Request -> Forward -> Save to local file.
2. System -> List -> save -> Local file
In the ensuing pop-up, select Unconverted and save it as a text file to your desktop. You can also select spreadsheet and save as a csv text file.
