can assign the following Time Management statuses in the Planned Working Time infotype (0007):
Time evaluation with planned times (0): Employees with this status are not selected for time evaluation. They cannot therefore be processed in time evaluation. The employees time wage types are determined in Payroll time data processing.
Time Management Status for processing time data in Time Evaluation and passing on time wage types formed there to Payroll
Time evaluation of actual times (1) and Time Evaluation PDC (2): Employees with these statuses have all their actual times, that is, all attendance and absence data, recorded*. It makes no difference whether attendance times are recorded at time recording terminals or in the Attendances infotype (2002).
Time evaluation with planned times (9): These employees have only the deviations from their work schedule recorded for them. The employees planned working times from their personal work schedule are used as the basis for time evaluation.
Time Management Status for processing time data in Time Evaluation without passing on time wage types formed there to Payroll
Time evaluation without integration with Payroll (7): You use this status to run time evaluation to handle special time accounts to accrue absence quotas, for example. It makes no difference whether all of the employees actual times are recorded or only the deviations from the work schedule.
The system stores the results of this time evaluation run in cluster B2, which enables you to run reports on the data, for example. The results are not passed on to Payroll. The time data processing part of Payroll treats the employees as if they had the time management status No time evaluation (0).
External services (8): Status for external employees. It makes no difference whether all of the employees actual times are recorded or only the deviations from the work schedule. The results of time evaluation are transferred to Materials Management (MM-SRV), and are not passed on to Payroll.

What is order management?
what is order management?
is it a general term used for OTC cycle in SD or something else??
<REMOVED>Hi
Below are details of Sales Order Management
Internet Sales
SAP Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) provides an e-commerce platform that enables SAP users to rapidly turn the Internet into a profitable sales and interaction channel. Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) offers everything customers need to sell products over the Internet: catalog browsing, product search, shopping basket, check-out, saving and retrieving shopping baskets, order status, and order history.
Field Sales
Mobile Sales for Handheld comprises a broad range of business applications to be processed offline on a mobile device, e.g., review customer information, take sales order via barcode scanning, create and/or modify sales orders, search for sales orders, and view a list of all materials.
Quotation and Order Management
Allows you to create and process orders, including pricing and scheduling order for fulfillment. SAP ERP supports many process variants, for example:
Cash sales
 Ship-to-order
 Make-to-order
 Engineer-to-order
 Empties
 Batch processing
 Serial number processing
 Payment card processing
 Third-party delivery processing
 Complaint handling
 Returns
Inquiries
Allows you to create and process customer requests.
Quotations
Allows you to create and process quotations.
Follow-Up Order
Creates an order as follow-up document to the quotation. Copies the data from the quotation into the order and creates two transaction documents, quotation and order.
Automatic Partner Determination
Allows you to automatically determine the partners involved in the sales transaction, for example:
 Ship-to-party
 Bill-to-party
 Payer
 Contact person
 Employee responsible
Automatic Text Handling
Allows you to determine and maintain texts on header and item level.
Pricing & Tax
Allows you to automatically determine the different kinds of conditions, such as product-, customer- and contract- specific prices, free goods, surcharges, discharges, freights, taxes, etc.
Flexible Price Calculation:
Highly flexible engine to determine prices based on whatever criteria one might think of. (This needs to be part of the database.)
Price List:
Customer-specific price lists can be generated.
Tax calculation within SAP ERP allows you to calculate transaction taxes, such as VAT in Europe. For complex requirements regarding tax determination in the United States, third-party software can be integrated.
Payment Card Processing
Works with payment cards, such as credit cards. Copies payment card information from customer master data in orders and other sales documents.
Credit Management and Credit Check
Limits financial risks by carrying out credit checks that can influence transaction processing and setting up a workflow connection to notify responsible.
Credit check evaluates a transaction based on the credit standing of the payer in financial accounting.
Product Listing & Exclusion
Displays a list of products a specific customer is allowed or not allowed to buy.
Product Substitution
Enables the automatic substitution of products in sales documents during sales order processing according to flexible, predefined rules.
Free Goods
Offers free items on the sale of certain other items or takes money off a particular sale to a customer.
Minimum Order Quantity Check
Checks the product level automatically to determine whether a minimum order quantity has been reached.
Document Flow
Provides interlinkages of preceding and subsequent documents for a selected transaction (for example, production orders, deliveries, invoices, and complaints).

Change open item management status
Hi,
We found the some GL accounts are maintained with no open item management status and already have postings in those GL accounts.
No, our client is aksing us to rectify the all this kind of accounts with no open item management.
Earlier we rectified this problem with zRFSEPA02.
But it is creating some problems in their reporting. Now my client is asking us to suggest a solution other than zRFSEPA02.
Because there are around hundres of accounts in no.of company codes say around more than 30 company codes.
Please let me, is there any solution to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance
Thanks& Regards,
PRASAD1. Out of 4 G/L, we have managed to change 2 of the G/Ls to open item using ZRFSEPA02.
2. While other 2 encounter error "Line item total does not tally with account balance."
- Message no. FH099
3. Basically we have make the account zero and blocked these G/Ls for posting before executing program
ZRFSEPA02 and still can't find out what went wrong since the steps are the same.
4. Anyhow we can now tick all 4 G/Ls to Open Item Management with the successful G/Ls showing
their line item as open item in FBL3N while those failed G/Ls currently showing line item as posted in the similar report.
Running SAP 4.7
Message was edited by: Mohd Shazaly A Jamil
We have successfully change to open item management for another set of G/Ls and the steps are below:-
(a) make sure all the balances were carried forward for all related ledgers which in our case we have 2, 00 and S
(b) ensure G/L account zero for all doc crcy, local crcy1, local crcy2 and local crcy3 (transfer for temp. to conversion purpose G/L)
(c) blocked all the related G/Ls
(d) execute ZRFSEPA02 for all the related G/Ls
(e) unblock the G/Ls from step (c)
(f) reverse entries from step (b) -
Waht does time management status 0 without payroll integration mean
In our project, the client does not want to use time evaluation and so, we have set the time management status value as 0 (no time evaluation). Also, the client is not implementing (at least now) SAP-Payroll, as they are processing payroll through a different software. We have configured work schedules ( they need just 4 different work schedules) and assigned appropriate ork schedules to all employees in infotype 0007. We have also configured one absence quota (Earned Leave of 20 days per year).
My query is how will the system behave now with time management status value as 0? Can we process absence quotas? What is the use of work schedules, in this context, as any way the system does not evaluate employee time in Time Management. Neither the time wage types are evaluted in Payroll, as SAP Payroll is not implemented.
-ShambhviMy thanks to all of you. I would like to summarize the answer for my query:
Since time management status = 0, there won't be any time evaluation, which means attendance and absence data, even if entered won't be evaluated in Time Management. Since Payroll is not implemented, the question of time data getting evaluated in Payroll does not exist. However, absence quotas can be maintained, irrespective of the value of time managment status.
Please correct me, if my understanding is wrong

Infotype 0007:Time management status
Hi Experts,
In Infotype 0007 , in the time management status field i have maintained the value as " Time Evaluation of planned times".
What does this mean ? ....
Does it mean that absences and attendences are not necessary to create. Kindly help me how the evaluation takes places
in this scenario.
Thanks in Advance,
BalajiHi,
This is SAP explanation:
Indicator 0 or BLANK:
The employee's actual times are not recorded, and his/her time data is not accounted using the time evalulation program.
Indicator 1:
The employee's actual times are recorded and he/she participates in time evaluation.
Example:
The employee's actual times are recorded at a time recording terminal.
The employee's actual times are recorded in the Attendances infotype (2002).
Indicator 2:
Employees' actual times are recorded and they take part in plant data collection. Their time data is accounted using the time evaluation program.
Example:
Employees' actual times are recorded using PDC systems.
Employees' actual times are recorded in the Attendances infotype (2002).
Indicator 8:
This indicator is intended for external employees. The employee's actual times are not recorded, attendances are recorded in the Attendances infotype (2002), and time data is accounted in time evaluation.
Indicator 9:
You can use indicator 9 for employees for whom only exceptions to the work schedule are recorded. In this case, the employees' actual times are not recorded, but they do participate in time evaluation.

Hi Friends,
what is the difference between time management status 0 and 9. when we can use 0 and 9.
Thanks in advance
VenkatHi,
Time management status 0 means - Employee's actual times are not recorded, and his/her time data is not accounted using the time evalulation program. here the time wgetypes are formed by payroll.
Time management status 9 means - Employees for whom only exceptions to the work schedule are recorded. In this case, the employees' actual times are not recorded, but they do participate in time evaluation.ie (.Evaluation of planned times.)
Hope this will help

Time Management Status 7 without Payroll Integration.
Dear All,
when do we go about Time Management Status - 7 - without Payroll Integration.
In this case how the process goes on SAP. what do we do in this status. do we record employees attendances in 2002 IT
actually what happens.
Regards
kvnHi KVN,
You are using time management status 7 which means that no integration to payroll. Now as far as ur Quotas are considered then please use RPTQTA00 which is just a program and RPTIME00 or PT60 which will run time evaluation and if u want your Quotas to generate in time evaluation then just change V_556A_B in this table to increase so with time evaluation and no generation for Quotas to be with time evaluation.
The client may ask sometimes for few Quotas to be prorated on a daily basis and so on in that case go with TE Quota generation
else RPTQTA00 is ok.So see ur business and use either of it
Let me know if u have any further Questions.
Thanks

Question on dispute management status profile
Dear Friends,
I have a quetion on SAP FSCM dispute management status profile. While setting up the status profile we would specify the status values. A number is assigned to each status and it will have corresponding system status. In the standard delivery the numbers assinged to status are (10,20,30..etc). Does any one know what is the significance of these values? My question is it required to use this numbers or it can be anything.
Any help will be greatly appreciated..Hello,
The status profile is used by definition of the Case Management configuration behind each Dispute.
A number is assigned to every step, and the number controls changes in the status, and can only be moved to a new number if it is customized to do so.That forbids you to jump into undesired states...
My general recommendation is keep them in ascending order, since the default when opening a case is to give the lowest value, and generally, closed cases are 98 or 98.
Configuration is done via: SPRO->FSCM->Dispute Management->Dispute Case Processing->Status Management->Create Status Profile.
Here is an Example for Legal Claim:
10 10-New Case 001
20 20-Pre-Presentation of Case 002
21 21-Case Presentada 003
22 22-Case - Rejected 003
23 23-Case - Ammended 003
30 30-Payment Order 003

What is credit management how should we tell
hi
gurus my question is what is credit management.
2) If one customer exceeds his credit limit the sales order is blocked in the enduser system. WHO will release that order. Whether enduser called his higher authority by telephone or mailed or it is automatically knows by the superior means who is working in the managerial level working in n.s.o.
thanks in advancehi
The customers credit limit is assigned to the customer by going to the Logistics overview screen, Accounting, Financial accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change.
A credit control area is an organizational unit that is comprised of one or more company codes.
Create a credit control area and assign it to a company code in the Enterprise structure under financial accounting.
A customers risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit checks when automatic credit control takes place.
In SD credit check can occur in only three places: sales order, delivery and goods issue.
The system can use a simple credit check, static credit check or a dynamic credit check.
The simple credit check is set at the document type level e.g., sales order, delivery etc.
Simple Credit Check
Assign credit limit check to the sales doc type:
A warning message
B Error message
C Delivery block
D Automatic credit control
SAP enables static and dynamic credit checks so that a sales order for a good customer with a low risk credit rating is created and a sales order for a high risk customer with a high risk rating for the same doc type is blocked.
Automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, delivery doc types, and goods issue into specific credit groups.
An outcome procedure is defined using the credit group, the customers risk category along with the credit control area.
Risk categories are defined in the FI module.
Create the different credit groups e.g., for sales order, delivery, goods issue.
Assign the credit groups to the sales and delivery doc types.
Now define the settings for automatic credit control -> combination of credit control area, customers risk category, and credit group.
All that remains is the assignment of the risk category to the customer master record. This occurs in Finance by going to the Logistics overview screen -> Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change or FD32.
The static credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer.
The dynamic credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders not yet delivered, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer. The dynamic credit check has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after the specified time period.
The credit relevant data is updated into an information structure, where it is accessed and updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group. The system allows for no update, and update group 000012, 000015 and 000018. However, update group 000012 is thorough and used in most businesses.
To view the customers credit master sheet, proceed from the logistics screen and go to accounting, financial accounting, accounts receivable, environment, credit management, check, credit master sheet [F.35].
Settings for determining the credit control area of a document. The settings of items 1 - 4 are taken into account according to their priority. The credit control area found is stored in field VBAK-KKBER.

14. Transaction V/08, Pricing
In the pricing procedure used for pricing, subtotal "A" must be entered in a line for
determining the credit value (mark the pricing procedure and doubleclick on "Control").
Usually, the net value plus taxes is used. This way the system is determined to use this
subtotal for credit pricing. The credit price is stored in field VBAP-CMPRE and used for
update and credit check.
You can find the used pricing procedure of the order under "Item -> Condition -> Analysis".

Which update group (field "Update") do you use in the relevant credit control area? The
default setting is "12". If you use another update group, check whether this is fine with
you. If you open an OSS message, please tell us the alternative update group.

16. Transaction OMO1
Which kind of update did you choose for structure S066?
In any case, "Synchronous update (1)" has to be chosen as the kind of update.
All other settings will lead to errors.

Query on Time Management Status
Dear Team,
Scenario:
We have some employees wherein the time evaluation will be evaluated for the status of 9 in Planned Working Time Infotype. After a period of time, these employees will be sent for education and no leaves are entitled. In this case, the time management status will be changed to 0. No time evaluation.
The accrued leaves will still be available for the employee while going to this education for example 20 days.
We have customized a rule, which will carry forward the last year balance to the current year balance on every 1st of the year.
In the above case, if an employee completes his education and returns back in the middle of the year other than the 1st day of the year, in this case, the carry forward of leave is not taking place.
My assumptions:
I would like to know an operation which would query the Previous Day Time Management Status and Current Day Time Management Status. If I can able to do this, if it is YES, the last old previous balance to be carried forward....
Please let me know if any other alternative method.
Thanks and Regards
Team Member.
Edited by: Patlolla Mallikarjun on Apr 26, 2010 8:35 PMHello Mallikarjun,
If you are planning on controlling thru a rule in schema, you can approach this way. Whenever an EE returns from education, change IT0007 time mgmt status to 9 along with additional time indicator say 'ED'. You can query the additional time indicator status in a rule thru the operation 'OUTWPATIND'. Hope this helps your requirement.
Best Regards,
Sunny -

What is ALERT Management.how to use it?
what is ALERT Management. what is it's use.how to do ALERT Management?
HI
Alerts within XI give us a simple way to monitor only those errors that we want to and send alert messages to different people depending on the alert category.
Alert configuration is used to have the system inform you of errors during message processing.
By using the Alert Framework, central monitoring can be provided with all errors reported during message processing in ABAP and Java. This enables an improved reaction to such errors in both the ABAP runtime and the Java-based Adapter Engine. For this purpose, the Alert Framework is provided with rules based on certain events and on information from the header of the message protocol. These rules determine whether alerts are send or not.
Alert Configuration:
1) An Alert is a notification informing its recipients that a critical or very important situation has arisen. The
situation is as severe that an action must be taken immediately in order to resolve the situation. The
system recognizes the situation and sends the Alert.
2) We use the Alert Configuration to have the system inform you of errors during message processing. we
can receive the Alert by e-mail, fax, or SMS.
3) To configure your Alerts, proceed as follows:
a) Create the Alert Categories that we want to use in our Alert Rules.
b) Create the Alert Rules in which we want to use our Alert Categories
4) An Alert is an instance of an Alert Category
5) Alert Categories can be defined by applications or customers using the Alert Category definition
environment, which is accessed in Transaction Code ALRTCATDEF
6) The Structure of Alert Category is defiened by the following
a) Technical key (language-independent) for identification purposes
b) Description (language-dependent)
c) Classification
d) Priority
e) Maximum number of deliveries. (This applies to delivery to a destination other than the alert
inbox.)
f) Expiry time (in minutes) after which the alert is deleted
g) Escalation recipient to whom the alert is sent if it is not confirmed by any of its recipients
h) Tolerance time before escalation
i) Short text, long text, and title
The title is used as mail title, fax subject, and alert title in the inbox. The long text is used as
mail/fax body and the long text view in the inbox. The short text is used for pager and SMS.
j) Container for variable definition if variables are to be used in the texts, or for other application-
specific attributes
k) Subsequent activities in the form of URLs
