When using Firefox on my desktop computer, I usually have 3-4 tabs open. Whenever I log out of my banking website, it reminds me to close my browser for security reasons. Does this mean I need to close every tab when I log out of a secure site? Thanks. I'm using Windows 7 and the latest version of Firefox.

Why does the Welcome to firefox tab open with my google tab every time I open the browser? And why can't the browser hold any add-ons I downloaded? I loose then when I close the browser, even tool bars have to be reinstalled every time I open the browser

Every time I open the browser the Welcome to Firefox tab is the first tab, then a second tab opens and thats my google, then a 3rd tab opens for me to reinstall my toolbar. This has been happening for a good year. Updates have not fixed it. Others have this problem. I did a search for an answer, the question is out there but no answer. Now if I go into add ons and add a background Theme or an extension it all is gone when I exit the browser. When I open the browser again I get all 3 tabs and have to install my toolbar again. I DO NOT want to reinstall as I will loose all my saved data, passwords, bookmarks, everything! I have had this computer for a year, Windows Vista x64 bit. Its not the computer, it's the browser. What country are you in ? If they are still in the store then you should be able to re-download apps via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, and ibooks via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app, but whether you can re-download music, films or tv shows via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app depends upon what country that you are in - they can't be re-downloaded in all. Audiobooks and ringtones are currently a one-time only downloads. You don't have copies of your downloads on your computer's iTunes nor on a backup ?

How can I stop my login screen changing to shrunken dimensions when I log out from my account, it does so randomly!

Does anybody know how I might fix the followin:
When I log out of my user account on my macbook the screen display has started to do weird stuff like change size so that the usual log in screen appears small and to the left, not filling the whole screen, then if someone else in the familiy logs in to their user they may have the same problem within their usual screen, with a small area instead of the full screen to work with. THe remaining screen displays blue, without the chosen wall paper etc. It seems to do this randomly so that logging in and out of accounts, shutting down and reopening can get things back to normal, but only until it goes weird again.

It sounds like a problem wih the backlight inverter. Usually they just go, instead of on and off.
In a dark room hold a flashlight on the display when it blacks out. If you can see the items on the desktop, it's probably the backlight.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you on or keep you logged on is stored in a cookie.
So you need t clear the cookies from that site to make the site forget you and log you out.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

How do you prevent deleting files when you log out of an account on a MacBook

I have set up a new account for my son on my MacBook. I set parental controls. It will not allow him to save files when he logs out. How can I allow him to save files and then keep them when he logs out?

Selecting all does not help - the issue is I need a table within an incoming email to be moved to excel, edited and then pasted back into a new email. "Select All" picks up the email headers, signatures, any messages around the table etc so that doesn't work. Also, as pointed out above Excel doesn't have a select all feature to get the tables back into the body of an email.
I just tried again going from Excel into Outlook 2011. No luck. All one column down the left side of the email. All columns are removed and text crammed into one column. Just to check I cut from one Excel document and pasted into another and it retained all formating just fine. It is only in and out of Outlook that seems to be the issue.

I recently sold my IPhone 3G to a guy i don't know and bought a 3Gs but i think i forgot to log out from my iTunes account
I didn't have any concerns until today when i got a message when trying to update my applications in ITunes saying that this account has been accessed from another computer and requested that i verify my CC(Credit card) password.
I changed my account password and confirmed my credit card password and got charged 1$ but what i wanna know is if i am safe now, meaning if that guy still has my account info without my password, will it promp him for the Password when he tries to buy or use my account??

Go to Store -> authorize this computer. Do what you have to do.
And do not forget when you leave to deauthorize that comp and log out.

You can just remove the account from Mail in Preferences>Accounts. However you would be advised to erase the entire hard disk and reinstall the system from the disks the Mac came with (which you must include with it when you pass it on). Because of this, I can't access the programs. I am trying to access the free trials on the new account before purchasing the subscription on the new account, but it keeps me registered as the older account, even though I requested for the older account to be cancelled. Right I'm fairly new to this and a bit behind on current technology.
In simple terms is Icloud a website that i can log on to on any computer? And if i do will i find all of my photos and phone information on my account?
If so, when i log on to my icloud account there are only four icons avaliable to me. 1. Contact, 2.Mail, 3.Find my iphone and 4.I works.
Why isnt the photo icon avaliable so i can click on it and see all of my photos?

The link shown in your image is to the Service Plan page for the Connect account (which most likely shows as a white page or throws an error). The server URL you listed above is active and working, but you may just need to log into the server, and then select the desired meeting room. Meeting room URLs should have something after your server URL, for example: meet18787284.adobeconnect.com/myroom

Gmail app tab lost when I log out of gmail

I have gmail as an app tab. Since installing ff 7.1 when I log out of gmail the app tab icon is lost and rather than being presented with the logon screen for gmail I'm presented the Gmail approach to email screen which gives me the option to sign in to Gmail. This opens another tab, which is not an app tab, and my original app tab is still present with the Google icon rather than the Gmail icon. All ideas welcome.
