uninstall any acrobat and reader versions, if you have win os clean (Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs) and then install acrobat std.

I had this same problem and my sixteen year old figured it out. Since the Windows PC running iTunes (which supports a housefull of AppleTVs) was running in a closet, he suspected it was due to having no speakers attached.

If you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

Unable to invoke CFC when trying to connect Adobe Download Assistant

I am running Mac OS X (10.10.2).
When Trying to connect Adobe Download Assistant with my regular Adobe-ID credentials I see following error message:
unable to invoke CFC - The method login was not found in component tdrc.tdrcfacade.
Is there a way to "repair" Download Assistant or to install the recent version?
