What URL for E-recruiting page to use from external job posting web site

Hello,
What is the standard SAP entrance back to E-recruiting from an external job posting site? We have sent our job postings to an external web site vender (Monster) to be posted for candidates to review. On the review page at Monster is the Apply Now button for a particular job. When the candidate clicks the Apply Now button, we would like the job detail to show within E-recruiting for the reference code of the job posted. Otherwise, the candidate has to repeat the job search within E-recruiting to get to the referenced details. Currently, we have a custom enhancement to populate the reference code (parsing it from the URL) to the Job Search page so at least the candidate can click one more time on the search button and the details display. Is there a standard page or better way to get to the job details in E-recruiting without custom enhancements coming from the external job posting web site?

Hello Cindy,
this is not very difficult and completly possible within the standard application functions. As you show all position data already in the page of the job board (like Monster) you use a link which dirctly referes the applicant to the page where he enters name and mail-address to apply for the job (if he like to see the postion instance again this page do includes a link to the data overview).
The link you use is the same link used in the "request for application" correspondence with which you can request a candidate youidentified in your talent pool to apply for a position.
The link should be available directly if you use the XI integration scenario but can be created very easily. Only 2 things to know:
- do you use the standard posting channel ID 0002 for external postings or have you confiqured a custom posting channel for posting at monster
- how do you get the job information to the monster guys. As you wrote you do not use the XI integration, so have you created a customer own publisher to dump all information to a share where monster is reading it automatically or do you maintain the publications by hand?
If you could give me this information i'll post the easiest way to get the link.

Module_data where clause using globals.site.dateNow

I'm trying (and failing) to get a list of blog posts that are excluding the not yet released posts, here is what I have:
{module_data resource="blogposts" version="v3" fields="id,siteId,blogId,postTitle,createBy,releaseDate,createDate,lastUpdateDate,enabled ,deleted,disableComments,slug,postUrl,metaBlogPostTitle,metaBlogPostDescription" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'blog.releaseDate':\{'$lt':'{{globals.site.dateNow}}'\}\}" order="-id" collection="myData"}
The "query" works but it ignores the globals.site.dateNow and displays everything (including posts greater than today).
If I do a greater than (in testing), it doesn't display anything, it should have only displayed the unreleased blog posts.
Bug? User error? Formatting incorrect? Any tips would be great.

In your 'where' filter above, you are using, 'blog.releaseDate', if you want to filter the data based on the blog posts' release date then use 'releaseDate' only. Like this -
where="\{'releaseDate':\{'$lt':'{{globals.site.dateNow}}'\}\}"

I probably just missed something stupid but I could use some help please.

Every financial institution (bank, credit union,...), every news outlet (print/TV/Radio/blog) reaches out to millions of elderdly folks and other non-geeks and tells them to run away as soon as they dont see a Key or Lock on a secured page (or maybe so-called secured page from what I get you are trying to push through).
This is a major Change Management disaster waiting to happen... Not just for Firefox but for every web site using secure transactions. Countless organisations are going to get calls from users telling them, "Your site is not secured, Oprah and CNN told me so".
Go for color scheme or other visual indicator to warn of security level, but absolutely dont lose the icon !

Repositories are used for storing and/or retrieving content and metadata.
The KM standard configuration uses several internal repositories that are controlled by CM. They are used for storing and staging various content and metadata and for navigating in this data. These repositories are preconfigured and preactivated in the KM standard configuration. You do not normally need to modify their configuration.
In addition to the aforementioned internal repositories, you can integrate additional external repositories into CM, such as a WebDAV or file system repository. You can establish a connection to these repositories by configuring appropriate repository managers.

I don't know where to post my question??

It is not a support issue but a general question regarding getting the iphone 4 8gb and if it is a dumb move. I can always refuse the pkg when it arrives tomorrow but I would really like your thoughts. It is Verizon w/2 yr contract. Dumb move? Going for the 4 s would have been a bot smarter. Maybe I just answered my own question.

One more quick thing. I know my needs would be met by the 4 8gb because I am one who does very little on a smartphone. I do not watch anything, no videos, don't play games. I do have a small list of music. I am 44 and know the 8gb supports my needs fine
HOWEVER, my biggest issue that I totally forgot to address, is the support for this outdated phone?? One thing I cannot handle is a slow phone. I do browse the internet on my phone. I text and call, use calendar notes stuff like that. But as I said, biggest cncern is how much longer t continue to get updates and support and speed.

I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro. I have so many problems trying to get up and running with this machine, I don't know where to post my questions. My mouse doesn't work right any more, the thing doesn't recognize my printer any more, it won't launch my scanner any more... I have been at this for 4 days now. I just don't know where to begin to ask my questions here I am having so many problems getting this brand new machine to work.
I was migrating from a Powerbook G4 that worked beautifully. As soon as I got this brand new Macbook Pro and tried to use my Kensington wireless mouse, my HP Laserjet, and Epson flatbed scanner, it seems like the new machine just won't work with any of these items and I don't know where to begin to ask here.
It took 2 days to get Apple mail working properly on this new Macbook Pro and even my ISP was baffled by the problems encountered.
Could someone please tell me where I can post my question here about how to get the above stuff working with my new Mac? I am completely exhausted and ready to just return the whole thing.

i have an issue with the SAP working which is installed in my laptop, where to post these SAP BASIS related issues ?

Need help on where to post

Can someone point me in the right direction of where to post a problem I have been having. With two different monitors, an apple VGS and a Viewsonic flatscreen, my displays have a fragmented image after going into sreensaver mode. I have searched under keywords "display - monitor, fragmented - image" and can't find anything remotely near my problem. Any suggestions on where to post this or look? Affected - B&W G3/10.3.9 + 9.2.2

if it happens with two different monitors, and only occurs when the screensaver kicks in, and does NOT happen if you boot in os9 as opposed to running under osx classic, then i'd assume it's a software issue and post in the pre-10.4 osx forum...

Where can I get a DVD, or make one for that matter, of all the Apple conference videos? You know the ones where Steve Jobs introduces stuff and future planse and things. They're called 'WW' something something.

It is illegal to make copies, under the copyright
regulations regarding the use of keynotes
presentations, and there is no DVD for sale with them
(you would need a few DVDs, they go way back to the
early 80s).
The WWxx name is based on the name/location of the
conference, WWDC, WWSF etc.
Thanks for the info. A little disappointing though. I would love a compilation of the conferences and all the old commercials etc.

Question relating to Java printing and where to post...

First of all I am not a developer, but I have a question regarding printing in an application that was developed using Java and am not sure where to post it. I'll pose the question than defer to a moderator to move it if necessary.
Here's the issue and question:
We are using an application that has a host/client structure on several systems that use Windows Vista and XP. I have been told by the support team for this application that they use Java for printing tasks. I don't know if the entire application or just the print engine were developed in Java.
Here's the problem:
Whenever I tell this app to print for the FIRST time after opening the app, it takes between 4 and 5 minutes before it brings up the print menu. Again, this ONLY happens the FIRST time I tell it to print, and subsequent print commands are processed in a more normal timeframe.
If I close this app and immediatly open it again, it goes through the same silly wait time for the FIRST print only.
Tech support had me update Java to the latest incarnation on all machines, but that changed nothing. The guy even had the GALL to blame Java for the issue, can you believe that???
Anyway, my question to you people here - that develop with Java - is what in the world this app ( and I suppose Java ) could possibly be doing with this print job for 4 to 5 minutes?
BTW... these are NEW systems, with Dual-Core processors and a minimum of 1.5 gigs ( the server has 3 gigs) of RAM. Oh, and what I am printing is simply text, no graphics, just plain simple text.
Any and all comments/suggestions appreciated...

I agree with you about the application being the most logical source of the problem, and I have already provided their support with all the details that you suggest.

Where's my other site?

I see other posts that seem relevant, but I can't understand why I can find the actual indexes and folders with my first stie but when I created a new site, none of the specific pages show up. I do not use .mac because it is way too expensive for what you get. I want to be able to work with files. WHere the heck are the files. for my second site? It makes no sense that the file sfor site 1 are where I can work with them but not site 2. Having to use different logins for each sit., as one user suggested, is sort of stupid if you ask me.
I am still using 2006 because I cannot get 08 because I am not in the U.S. and Apple does not offer a download of O8. You have to get the box. I'm in COlombia and Apple's footprint in Colombia is miniscule.
Anyone out there able to help.

Are both of your sites shown in the site organizer over at the left inside the iWeb app? If not, one may have been deleted from iWeb's data ( the Domain file). In that case you will have to recreate the site (unless you have a backup somewhere).

Or did you intend to create separate Domain files for your sites but that didn't happen or it did happen and now you can't find one?
In any case, when you publish to a folder on your local drive, all the files for whatever sites are published are sitting in that folder. If you have mulitiple sites, there will be multiple site folders inside that, plus one index.html which points to whichever site is topmost inside the iWeb app.
If you are talking about stuff being missing on your server, that's a completely different issue.
Perhaps if you provide more detail about exactly what you are doing to create and publish and upload sites someone can offer better help.
Using different logins is just one way to ensure you get separate Domain files for separate sites, but there are other ways to do the same thing by manually manipulating Domain files, etc. Also I don't think O8 offers any advantages for the procedure you are using.
