While transferring my Documents from my desktop to my new Apple laptop through a memory stick all of my documents were lost. I cannot find them anywhere...What happened?

If I'm reading this right, you copied the Documents folder from your User account to a memory stick? How big was the Documents folder?
How did you carry out the copy?
Drag and drop from user account to stick? - This should copy the data leaving the originals on your desktop Mac.
⌘-drag from user account to stick? - This would move the files - copy them over, then delete the originals.
Entire folder at one go or a few files at a time?
Assuming that you used the memory stick as received (straight out of the pack) it would almost certainly be formatted FAT32 or even FAT16 so it can be used onWindows or Mac. There are file size limits with both those formats, which could cause problems, but I'm not sure complete loss of data would result.

    Find the below scenario followed by us.
    1.Created the service order with the ZSR3 procurement item category.
    2.PR created for the service order 35035201 in ECC with no 0070088937.
    3.One queue is struck with the below details.
    4.If we re process the queue it will process with out any error and then only our document flow of the CRM service order line item.
    Plz check the queue name R3AD_CRM_SRV_0035025201 in CRM system from
    Tcode SMQ2 which is in SYSFAIL status. The corresponding BDOC in SMW01
    tcode has validation error message " Module CRM_SRV_EXT_VAL, BDoc type
    CRM_SRV_XTN. Message no. SMW3018 " . Plz advise.
    As per my understanding and debugging i think it might be a issue
    As a standard CRM any change/update in ECC document 0070088937 should
    send back the information to the source CRM document with header GUID
    4E6527B4D3070C10E10080000A8C6828 . But system is referring to a
    different GUID where there is no document exist in CRM.
    Pls find the root cause to trigger different GUID when information is
    passed from ECC to CRM system.

  • Problem in transfering the Document from CRM to R/3

    Dear CRM Experts,
               I am working in CRM 2007.
      we connected the CRM 2007 with R/3.
    In CRM we creating the Service order -> Service Confirmation -> Return Order.
    When  we create the Return Order in CRM it Copies the Document and creates the Same Return order in R/3.
    But in our case it is not creating the return order in R3 and  i am getting the Error message
    "An error has occured in the system R22CLNT787 while copying the document
    Message no. CRM_ORDER_MISC 020
    Diagnosis
    Errors have occured while transferring the document into another system. Remove the error messages from the enclosed log.
    Transmission log
    Object link not known in CO (Notification E IAOM 019)"
    Please help me to solve this problem.

    We had a similar error in transferring documents in the other direction, from R/3 to CRM.  During the transfer, SAP carried out the following steps:
    1.  Transfer R/3 object to CRM
    2.  Create 1Order Object in CRM
    3.  CRM send BOR object (log sys, GUID, obj type) of 1Order Object to the R/3 object
    4.  R/3 attaches the BOR object under linked objects
    5.  R/3 sends a response with the success/failure of the operation in Step 4.
    6.  CRM receives the message and writes it to a log
    We were missing Step 4.  (We are using Case Modeller in R/3 FSCM Dispute Management, so we had to attach/activate the link between R/3 and CRM in that step).
    Check CRM transaction SMW01 to see your message logs.  Perhaps they will offer more insight.

    You are getting error in the Sales Order is because of Master Data.
    Sales Documents will flow from CRM to R/3 when master data is consistent in R/3 & CRM side.
    Please maintain the master data in R/3 side & download into CRM Side.
    For Customer use adpater object CUSTOMER_MAIN & for Material object is "Material"

    I am getting following error while opening Excel document from SharePoint site.
    This issue appears when we open Excel document from Windows>> Run using below mentioned command:
    Excel.exe "{File Name}"
    If once I go to Excel back stage and browse for the SharePoint location, then this problem disappears.
    I have a work around for this issue but main problem is that i do not have any work around when i need to open Exel document using Excel COM interop in C#.

  • Heap space error while creating XML document from Resultset

    I am getting Heap space error while creating XML document from Resultset.
    It was working fine from small result set object but when the size of resultset was more than 25,000, heap space error
    I am already using -Xms32m -Xmx1024m
    Is there a way to directly write to xml file from resultset instead of creating the whole document first and then writing it to file? Code examples please?

    Hi Jay,
    Try doing this once again and go to Tcode SMW01 and try to locate your Bdoc. First it will be in yellow state and it will turn red (error).
    Once you get the error Bdoc, check the error messages in it (there is proper button on the top to get this). You might get the cuase of the error in Bdoc messages itself.
    If not, post me the Bdoc status and the Flow Context.

    Hi
    If you use another existing document type, check that it has a number range suitable to you.  Else create a new 'z' type and assign an entirely new number range, not used in the other doc types.
    It is useful to make the FI document number the same number.  If I understand from the forums, the FI number range must be external.  Search the forum for this.  It is very useful for the Finance people.

    Did you use any of the "sleep" drivers supplied? I have found it best to just totally reformat/erase the drives and let the OS handle them.

    I recently transferred itunes library from windows XP PC to new Windows 7 PC. The transfer was successful, however when I plug my 3rd gen Ipod Nano into the new PC, the Ipod icon appears along with the music, playlists, etc. The songs are shown but are 'grayed out' and wont play or sync.The 'Devices & Printers' window in new PC shows icon for Ipod driver & is OK. The icon for the Ipod appears but depicts a delta shaped warning icon that states that the Ipod is'not operating properly'. Tried troubleshooting. The troubleshooting message states the the Ipod is 'disconnecting'. Can you help me with this problem?        

    Then, I dropped the entire itunes file from the old PC (XP) into an empty external drive.
    That "itunes file from the old PC"?  Is that the iTunes folder, from the old PC, that was in the user home folder's Music folder?
    All of the library, playlists, etc. from the ipod as they always have been are shown, by they are 'grayed out' and will not open or play.
    That's on the iPod, correct?  Are all of your old playlists in iTunes, from the old PC, still there in iTunes on the new PC?  Are the songs in iTunes still playable?
    This document provides the steps to transfer a complete iTunes library between two computers.  See the section called External drive.

    There are many steps, but this is a summary.  (1) On the old PC, consolidate all of your iTunes data into the iTunes folder.  (2) Copy this iTunes folder to the external drive.  (3) On the new PC (that has iTunes installed but NOT running), replace its existing iTunes folder with the one from the old PC (on the external drive).  When you run iTunes, it uses the iTunes folder from the old PC, and it should look like iTunes on the old PC (with all the playlists, ratings, play count, etc.), and your iPod will see the iTunes library as the same iTunes library (because it is the same library).
    If you did something different, and the old PC is still accessible, you may want to try it using the method from the linked document.
