Everytime I open the icloud page I have to relog in with my username and password. Even if I click "keep me signed it." It is a royal pain.
On a similar note...how do I get my icloud mail account to open in imail like allof my other email accounts???? Thanks
Your signature says you have 10.6.8 - assuming this to be correct, you need to set Mail up manually to access your iCloud email as detailed here:

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?

I have a hotmail account sync. With my Mail on the Macbook and iPad, everytime I open my mac all emails are transfered from the iPad to the Macbook. Is there a way to keep a copy of the emails on the iPad? Or access them after transfered?

That’s just the problem I’m having. I follow all the steps as found in the iPhoto help. I select a photo then click the i (INFO) button in the lower right corner to open Faces - Keywords - Places pane. Then select the Keyword I want to remove, then the delete key. The key word I want to remove is removed okay at that point, (from the Keywords pane.)
However, when I go and do the same operation on a second photo - again the keyword is removed in the Keywords pane - then when I go back the first photo - the unwanted keyword is back. -
How do you get passwords to stay valid?? Why do videos from Facebook and mail only play in 1/2 the screen?? I have been forced to Apple by my boss. Try deleting the account from the iPod and reentering the settings. It is easy to make an error and notbe able find it.

My iPad keeps shutting itself off during use. It does not matter if the battery is 100% charged or not. Anyone have any reason this could be happening?

why does it tell me my ipad is synched with another itunes library and wants to erase the thing when I want to synch it? I haven't synched it with any other mac but my own.
Hi Lisa,
I know from experience that this must be a frustrating situation for you especially if you don't want to loose the music/video content that is currently on your ipod. Unfortunately though you may have to consider re-syncing it as it thinks its currently synced with another computer.
If you bought any music that is on the ipod through itunes you can opt to right click the ipod in itunes and 'transfer purchases' if you authorise your library in the 'Store' menu in itunes. Some reasons for this happening may include some of the following:
Deleting and reinstalling your itunes on the computer.
Removing the account you had on the computer you used itunes in and making a new one. (User account, eg: Lisa).
Changing computers in the past.
A friend or family member syncing it on their computer to give you there music.
A sign of a failing iPod.
Alternatively you can opt to not sync it and keep the music that is on your ipod there but this means you will never be able to update your ipod.

Are you able to receive any mail at all? If not, make sure that all of your information for mail is accurate in settings again. if you still have nothing, go to your email through safari. (example: www.yahoo.com) If you do not see the emails here either, it is a problem with the password reset server not your mail app.

I am trying to download a variety of files and when it is finished, the Mac freezes up and the task bar continue to blink on and off.
I have to go into Firefox and actually quit the application to continue. Any help is very much appreciated.are you backing up files, or doing a Time machine backup, either way, the Time machine will STOP when finished and show "last backup at XXXXXX" meaning its done...... OR if when transferring files, it will show a progress bar on your desktop and vanish when files are copied.
Open up the Hitachi drive (your G drive is made by Hitachi, and the best made by the way).....and see if the files are there.
a MORE VISUAL way is to open the hard drive file, and drag and drop files INTO the Gdrive and you can see them visually be copied there as you do it.
To see your HD on your desktop GOTO FINDER......PREFERENCES....then GENERAL TAB.........check the box marked HARD DRIVES.........then your Gdrive will appear on your desktop........open it from there, and DRAG and drop files from anywhere INTO the Gdrive....... easy visual way to see the files being copied into the Gdrive. -
When I initially try to sign in to iCloud, I get the "Account not verified" screen and I am told to check my email for instructions to verify. No email is ever sent. My ID and password work on all other Apple app's. Why not for iCloud?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Why can't I download my already purchased music and other files from iCloud, even though I owe money to iTunes for my most recent purchases. Doesn't seem right that they keep me from accessing those files which I've already paid for!
- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Check for new 64 bit software for the modem, other wise you I'll probably have to boot your Mac in 32 bit mode first.. And then every time you want to go online.
I have the Sierra wireless 306 and have their 64 bit lion software installed. Works well.
