Why do movies recorded with my IPhone 4S take so long to buffer on the ATV 3 with AirPlay. 1080P movies from iTunes stream instantly.
I have a third generation apple TV and it works great with renting movies and streaming from my computer's library. However, it is extremely slow uploading movies recorded on my Iphone 4S. It doesn't matter if my Iphone 4s movie is streaming from my computer's library or directly from my phone it takes several minutes to buffer just a 1 minute video clip. Is anyone else having this same issues?
Clandherr, I'm having the same issue. Streaming a 1:43 video I recorded from my Iphone 4S took 10 minutes to Airplay onto my Apple TV 3G. I've also experienced lag when it comes to YouTube and Vevo videos. I've checked my Network Configuration on my Apple TV and I've got a great signal and I'm using the Apple Extreme as a wireless router with 5Mhz speed. My internet speed is super fast as well. Not sure what the heck is going on.

Cant view movies recorded on new iPhone iOS
updated iPhone 4S to latest version of iOS. Since then movies recorded on the iphone won't display on Quicktime Pro for Windows XP (black screen, video tracking needle moves normally, and sound plays back, but no video. . Your topic is misleading. According to your post, you are not having issues viewing videos on your iPod. The problem is viewing the videos on your desktop using Quicktime. You will be better off posting in the QuickTime for Windows forum.

Why does my iPhone 5 take very grainy flash photographs in the dark will a hard reboot be safe to do to try to fix or is it a hardware issue?
And By hard boot I mean holding the home and power button down at the same time for 10 seconds or whatever
I see other people have these grainy flash photographs if you try to take a picture in darkness the picture comes out very dark and grainy I thought the software would ultimately fix this but it's been going on for over a year I usually take my photographs in daylight but I need this to be fixed

Thank youThe flash on a smartphone camera is tiny. It only lights up a very small area right in front of the camera. It won't light up the whole scene.
Have you seen the size of the flash on a professional camera? Even they can't light a whole scene in the dark.
Fact is, a smartphone camera is not capable of taking good photos in the dark, even with the flash.
You'll need to buy and learn how to use a professional, dedicated SLR camera to be able to take good photos in the dark. It is not easy. -
Question:
When I sync with my iphone I get an error reporting message but the sync still works. After trying to download 10.6.3 Mac OSX Snow Leopard, this message appears every few seconds as long as Entourage is open. This continues until I quit Entourage. How do I turn this message off? It interferes with any other work I am doing. I appreciate any suggestions.I only have one video project that I ever published to iDisk. It didn't have any music or photo files attatched to it, just a few clips stitched together. I can play these clips right now in the Event Library (so I know the source files are on my computer), but strangely, under the Project Library, the project is not there. I'm almost certain that I didn't store the project on iDisk; I just completed the video and published it to iDisk (as a .mov file I think) for family to see. I've tried to figure out how to get iDisk to stop looking for this project to no avail.
I don't know if others have experienced this, but if I click on any project and on the menu bar select Share --> Remove From --> Media Browser... it lists iPod, iPhone, iPad, tv, Computer and MobileMe. Why would MobileMe be an option here? This is the case for any video project I select. Didn't iLife '11 and/or OSX 10.8 remove all mention of MobileMe? I wonder if this is part of the problem too.
Edit: I just removed every project I have from the Media Browser. Still no luck. -
i lost my appletv remote & can no longer connect to it with my iphone app. is there any way that i can reconnect with my iphone app without having to buy a new remote?

I have a problem with my iPhone 4s. An Apple rep looked at the phone tonight and determined I will need a new phone. I am now trying to back up my data to iTunes but I cannot get the phone to turn on. I have it plugged into my computer monitor but it just slowly flashes the Apple symbol. Any ideas on how I can get it to power up for the backup?
Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

I have changed my apple id, and its ok when i sync my Iphone with Itunes, but ON my Iphone still my old apple-ID is there. I can NOT buy things from Itunes or Upgrade anything now, how to fix this?
I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match. I have created a new Apple ID to match the new account but now I can't sign into iCloud on our phones or computer with the old Apple ID. I can't make any changes on iCloud on our phones because it directs me to the old account, which I can't sign into. I also can't sign me in on my computer to make any changes. Help!!! i've already synced my itunes on my laptop with my iphone but it's not synching all of the albums/songs. Everything was purchase through itunes so i'm not sure what the issue is.
What settings do you have in iTunes? Is it set to sync all music, it is set to sync only checked songs? Is there anything different about the songs that it is not syncing. Is it possible they were they purchased with a different Apple ID?

My iphone 3g is getting really slow. I done full restore ,deleted most apps . Not many photos in my album. i have no videos on my iphone. When taking photo with my iphone it takes ages for camera to open up. Very slow to take photo. Any suggestions? Please help !!!!

After restore I did restore from back up only, as I didn't want to end up without contacts details on my phone. If I restore as new device how do I get my all contacts? Still will have to use back up? Sorry if it sounds like I don't know what i am doing, i just have no one to ask who would know. Thank you

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. A Restore is more thorough than the Update. If still problem after the Restore on computer, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send iPhone to Apple Store for resolution. iPhone 5S is covered by Warranty.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.
