Why Inspection lot numbers are not in sequance?

Hi All,
In my business scenario I am creating inspection lot for inspection type 01. System does not create the inspection lot number in sequence for example if I do the GR system creates the inspection lot number say 1000000016, and after some time if I do the GR for the same PO and material I am getting the inspection lot number 1000000019, 25,35,175,225 like this? can some one let me know on this why this is happening? I checked in QALS table for the list. All created inspection lot numbers are not in sequence? Pls let me know

Regarding the pattern, I would say it is always unpredictable.
Although the buffer is provided as 50 & system is supposed to pick the same, my exprience is that it is not fixed specially in case of inspection lot.
We do have same buffer but the lot number creation is uneven. This will be for initial few lots & it will be stabilised eventually.
This is not the thing to worry but still it concerns you a lot then you can raise the ticket to SAP with priority as high. The buffer making zero at this time won't be of much help as the numbers are already created.

HT4972 Why Pages and numbers are not updating.

My pages and numbers are not updating for about a week now Why?

Some one else had a similar problem last night...same as yours. He claimed that Pages had been stuck trying to update for about week. I posted this and he said that it worked - which part he did not say - but give these things a try.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to resume the download.
If you have all of your Pages files backed up in iTunes or on your Mac, this might be the answer. Try deleting the waiting icon - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
I have deleted Pages a couple of times when I had issues with it and then reinstalled it. I even deleted a stalled Pages once and then tried the update successfully again after that. My files are always backed up in iTunes and on my Mac so I had no apprehension about deleting the waiting download.

Here is an extreme newbie Q...
I want to install Arch linux...
I have windows 8 64-bit installed on the HDD with MBR partition table...
And here are my partitions (in order) that I see from the arch usb installation media:
/dev/sda1: System Reserved (primary, active)
/dev/sda2: C (primary)
/dev/sda3: Extended
/dev/sda5: D (Logical)
/dev/sda6: E (Logical)
Uallocated space.
So I already have 2 primary and 1 extended partition.
Now, my question is: Why did it skipped the number sda4?
Is it normal?
When I create third primary partition on unallocated space, it assigns the number sda4 to it...
What is going on?

This is true; however, Windows will boot from a GPT disk only on an EFI-based system. If the computer in question supports EFI, you can make that switch, as described here, or you can re-install Windows. If the computer is strictly BIOS-based (as are most that are older than about 2 or 2.5 years), you're pretty much stuck with MBR if you're booting Windows from the disk. Overall, it's probably better to just stick with MBR partitioning.
FWIW, Linux doesn't need to reside on a primary partition. Given the setup described by Sameer, my recommendation would actually be to use GParted to expand the size of the extended partition (/dev/sda3) to cover the whole disk, and then create logical partitions for Linux. This way you won't use up all of the primary partitions, which might prove to be important in the future, should you need another primary for some reason. It can also keep the partition numbers increasing, albeit with a jump from 3 to 5.

Why Pages, keynotes, and Numbers are not free? I bought my Mac at Oct 14, 2013. With the new OS X Mavericks relaeaed, Apple said that these three Apps are free to new buyers, I bought Macbook Air last week. Why I didn't see these three Apps free after I logged in the Mac App Store?

***For those that purchased iWork 09 not on the app store but as a retail disk copy you can get the update for iWork even though it may show $19.99 for all the apps:
You can reupdate to iWork 9.3 by going here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563
then after it is updated close the app store if opened then open it again and sign out then sign in and then all the iwork 2013 apps should show as update rather than $19.99 cost each. This worked for me. I bought iwork '09 on disk but it showed 19.99 each after I upgraded to Mavericks so followed the above steps and it worked. I am now updating all my iWork suite I bought on disk, NOT on the Mac app store and now I have a Mac app store set!
Apple sure has a problem that needs to be fixed otherwise iWork will eventually be free for everyone...
Someone at Apple forgot all of us old retail people before the Mac App store existed!

Numbers are not comming in Arabic style in PDF o/p

The font used in the Report is Arial
In uifont.ali file under PDF[subset]
Arial="arial.tty' has been added.
Your advice helped me alot. Arabic characters are comming properly in PDF O/p. But Still the numbers are not comming in Arabic style. Instead numbers are comming in engl I have set Regional options to Arabic. I am getting Numbers in arabic style when O/P is viewed in Report builder previewer or HTMLCSS or HTML. How to get Numbers in Arabic style in PDF o/p.

Can't I get Arabic Native numerals in PDF o/p..? We need a solution urgently.....
We have seen some PDF documents having Arabic native numerals. But why a PDF document generated by Oracle reports is not able to show numbers in arabic style........
I want to know whether it is possible to get Arabic native numerals in PDF o/p generated by 9iDS report builder.
IS anything else needs to be done apart from configuring PDF subset section in uifont.ali in this regard.

i can see and manage documents in iCloud. i can create them on iPad and see them and delete them in iCloud.
But not on iMac.

Serial numbers are not copied to new storage location for 311 mvt type

Hi Guys
I have 10 stock of material A in 001 Storage location ,which all the quantity is serial number managed
I have transfered 10 quantity of Material A to 002 location from 001 location using 311 MIGO
But serial numbers are not copied to 002 location after transfer posting
001 and 002 are both are WM linked and belongs to same plant
Can any body suggest good solution,how it can be done

1.Check in material master whether serial number management is active in Plant data/stor Tab and serial number profile is assigned
2. Check while doing MIGO once if u enter the material and transfer qty you are getting the serial number tab or not
3. If everything is ok, then after posting the document check the serial number status in IQ09, check the stock type and the storgae location in the serdata tab

I am using the following formula to display the alternate white and silver background color in every reocrd but this does not work because the records numbers are not in sequence for ex : its showing 54,56,58 which is not allowing the alternate color, Any advice.Thanks if remainder(recordnumber,2) =0 then crNoColorelse Color (218,218,218);

Could you simply add a running total for each record. That will give you the 1 2 3 4 5 6 ....
Then in the details section color formula, use something like this:
if RunningTotal Mod 2 = 0 then crSilver Else crNoColor.

I am trying to do a stock transfer from Quality to Unrestricted in QA32, but SAP shows error "Please fill delivery note!".
I have checked the Purchase Order and Delivery Note is filled!

I can explain the process better:
I receive the material from a Purchase Order into my warehouse, mov. type 101. Then the material as quality inspection on goods receipt activated, inspection lot is created and material stays in quality status on stok.
After that, is time to do the results recording and usage decision. When usage decision is done with OK, I have to move the stock from status Quality to Unrestricted, correct? Here, SAP shows an error that I have to fill the Delivery Note!
I checked the PO and the Material Movement that is in the Inspection Lot, and Delivery Note is filled! I have made debug on system and bypass the message. Material is now in Unrestricted. I just wanted to know what was the cause of this?

Inspection Lot Status (CROK)not updating for Certificate Reciept

I want to inspect vendor materials on the basis of thier Quality certificates
1) Config Set up:
a) Certificate type :YA72
Cert for each PO item :checked
Certificate Check reqd: :Checked
Enhance cert processing: Checked
b) Control key :0005 ( Delivery release ,Certificate)
2) Material Master (QM View)
    QM Procurement : Checked
   Control Key :0005
   Certificate Type :YA72
3) Goods Recipt
    MIGO < Purchase Data<Cert Reciept :Yes
    Inspection lot is created
Question : Inspection lot status is not updating for Certificate Recived or not
                  My understanding is Inspection lot status should be :CROK -Certificate Recieved
CTCM-Certificate Missing
Pls correct my understanding in case i am missing something

Is the status in the GR document have the cert field set as 5?
Since you set the "certificate check required" you must do an explicit check of the cert. I included below the help screen from this indicator in SPRO.
You should be able to review the status of your cert in transaction QC53.

If you set this indicator, at goods receipt the system will generally perform as described in the field "Control without certificate".
This means that even if you confirm the certificate receipt at goods receipt, and thereby set the status "2 - Certificate received", the system will still perform as specified in the field "control without certificate". See Control without certificate.
You must explicitly check the content of the certificate recieved at goods receipt and set the status "5 - Certificate filed and inspected ", before, for example, the inspection lot status will be set to CROK.
You can confirm that you have checked the content of the certificate in the certificate transaction or when making the usage decision.
Note
If you have set the indicator and chosen an unsuitable setting in the field "Control without certificate", the goods receipt can be generally blocked.
This security function is generally used at electronic certificate receipt to check the accuracy of the certificate contents.

Old emails, in what manner? As in previous to installing the account on this device?

Spool numbers are not exist in TBTCP table but can be visible at SP01 trans

HI folks,
I could see four spool errors in SP01 transaction .But i couldn't able to find which job/program had generated that spool. I have checked TBTCP table also..but those spool numbers are not exist in that table.
Can any one please help me on this.

There is no error in SP01 tcode.
You need to check the tables TSP01 and so on and find the sppol numbers and then the user name and the times generated.
It works with a different mechanism.it's a RDBMS Concept and normalisation.
you can even use the FM RSPO_FIND_SPOOL_REQUESTS. or look for FMS RSPO* and explore.
