Why isn't iweb saving all changes i make?

Does anyone know why some of the pages i edit are being saved and publish, but others are not?

Try clearing your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the pages that are having problems. See if that brings the changes up.

Why isn't iWeb uploading my changes?

For some reason iWeb is not updating my changes I make to my pages, especially my blog. I check to make sure the connection is good and it still will not upload. I save changes and then try to get out of iWeb and I get the error message that says quitting during upload could cause problems to the website.
What is going on?

The iWeb FTP will not upload files with bad names.
Check your files - paticularly image files - for spaces and/or special characters and remove them.

The behavior is same in Acrobat 11 as well. The thumbnails do not get refreshed till you close the document and reopen.

Thanks! I just wanted to add:
In addition to commenting out MyPaint myPaint = new MyPaint() and removing the this keyword when dereferencing setBackground() in MyMouseListener , I also changed
button.addMouseListener(listener);
button.addMouseMotionListener(listener);
into
this.addMouseListener(listener);
this.addMouseMotionListener(listener);
so that the colour changes when you hover the cursor in or out of the panel instead of the button.

Why won't iWeb publish my changes?

I have a rather involved photographic website that we just updated to include more and recent photos. When I tried to publish the changes, I got an error message. Eventually removed one of the photo-laden pages and tried publishing again, and it gave me the message that the site was published successfully. However, when I visited the site (www.stevefossimages.com) none of the changes were there. Yes, I refreshed, I shut down, rebooted, everything I could think of but none of the changes are there. Even the page I removed (Flowers) is still appearing on the site, even though it's not there in iWeb!
Please help!

Try publishing the site to a folder on your hard drive and open the local copy with your browser to verify all changes are there.
Once you confirm that they are try uploading the site folder and files to your server with a 3rd party FTP client like the free Cyberduck.
Many users have reported success with 3rd party FTP clients when they've had problems with iWeb's built in FTP client.

Why isn't my saved Photoshop image appearing in Lightroom?

After editing an image in photoshop and clicking save, I toggle back to Lightroom and my edited image isn't there. It says 'no photo selected." I am working with images on a new external hard drive and I'm wondering if this has something to do with it because I can still move between photoshop and lightroom with images on other external hard drives.

Nothing is happening. I also just noticed my folders aren't as they always are and posted another question for discussion... My hard drives aren't listed as their own folders, as they've always been. I have to go through the Mac HD folder to get to my images. Could this have something to do with my photoshop/lightroom sharing issue?

The fade effect works well in preview, but does not render when I export, or save when I reopen FCP. Instead it goes straight to dark!

But in the exported movie you don't see the fade out and fade in that you expected. Right?
What format are you exporting to? Is there a chance you could export just that small section and post it somewhere so we can see exactly what you are seeing?

The fade to colour/cold steel effect works nicely over the two clips when previewed, but when I export, it doesn't fade - it applies the black immediately. When I close and reopen, I have to adjust the sliders again to give the fade effect.
Is this an easy fix?

I photo8.1 not saving any changes I make to albums/events

Since Thursday, any changes I have made in iphoto have not been saved. I've deleted lots of photos from an event (a recent holiday) and made a new album so I can share/export the photos easily.
if i close iphoto and go back to it I find none of the changes have been made. The deleted photos are still in the event, and the album is empty. Any ideas on what I can do.
Never had a problem before, I have just over 10000 photos in iphoto

Sounds like your database is damaged.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Pages saving every change I make

HI, I wonder if anyone is having the same issue that I am having with Pages (and Numbers)?
Everytime I write any text or make changes the 'Progress...saving' dialogue comes up and I have to stop and wait for it to save. This makes the two apps almost unusable.
Boht are updated and current versions.
Any help or guidance is appreciated as I cannot bear moving back to office, but have work to do!!

I just installed FF, and I want a SIMPLE way to copy all my bookmarks. Why isn't there a menu item to do this? The need seems OBVIOUS!

I simply want to make a copy of all of my wife's "Favorites", i.e. your Bookmarks. In FireFox, PrntScrn won't do it, Windows "Snippets" won't do it, and any HELP answers I've seen are hidiously complex. The need/desire to have a paper copy or Word copy of her bookmarks (of course, WITH URL's) seems completely, blatantly obvious. Why all the secrecy? Why isn't there a MENU item to make a copy of the list of Bookmarks??
And no, I'm not going to try AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN to do the Export/HTLM solution, whatever that means. Sheesh. I'm 10 minutes into FireFox and I'm ready to go back to I.E.

When you hooked up to your PC did they attempt to import? Had you imported them previously and not deleted when the import was complete?
If you have to delete them directly on your device, you need to press the select button and just keep selecting until you have all of them selected, then put them in the trash.
You do not need to select one then trash it, then select another then trash it. You can select as many as you like before clicking on the trash icon.

Why isn't my iPad 2 giving me alerts for my all-day events? I have alerts set-up for 2 days prior. My alerts work for other calendar entries where they are set-up for 15mins prior.

The laptop has a more powerful wifi radio then the iPad. Try getting closer to the location where iPad can connect.
