Why the serial number doesn't work?

Since updating from lightroom 5.4 to 5.5 the serial number - also visible in "My Products" (My Adobe) - doesn't work. I shall contact the support... Who can help me?

    There was no new serial needed to update from Logic 9 to 9.1.7
    If your Logic 9 was an upgrade from Logic 8 it may be asking you for your original Logic 8 Full serial first and then your Logic 9 Upgrade serial...
    Otherwise, it's best to call Apple directly and get them to help you...

    Are you getting any error message or other data that helps to understand why the SR # is not working?  Sometimes when entering a serial number a letter or number is entered incorrectly because a 1 looks like an l or an s looks like a 5.  Make certain that this type of an entry error is not your problem.

    Does your serial number have 24 digits starting with 1057?

    How did you buy iWork (no 's', capital 'W')?
    If you downloaded the trial version earlier, and have since purchased a serial number, iWork will ask you for the number the first time you launch one of the iWork applications after the trial period ends.
    If you bought a retail box, or bought the individual applications through the Mac app store, no serial number is needed, but if any part of the trial version is still installed on your computer, you'll get a request to enter a serial number before proceeding.
    In the last case, you must delete all traces of iWork and it's applications (but not the documents that you have created and saved), then reinstall the purchased versions from the DVD or from the app store.
    For the simplest and most efficient means of deleting the trial version, go to Yvan Koenig's iDisk, then to:
    for_iWork > iWork 09 > uninstall iWork 09.zip
    Unzip the file, open with Script Editor and run.

    Just downloaded a trial of Aperture 3.0.3, and got emailed the serial number.
    Click to install, enter my name and the supplied serial number, but the installer just says "The serial number you entered is not valid." and will not proceed.
    I've double and triple checked, the number is exactly as per the email, with upper case, no confusion between letters and numbers, but it doesn't work.
    Any ideas?

    in the boxes of the splash screen of a trial version.
    All the programs of the CS have been installed as purchased products
    except for Fireworks (but I didn't find it out until now).
    Now I need to use it and I am trying to install it from the trial version
    (which I downloaded few months ago but had never launched)
    by dialing the CS5.5 serial number I purchased but it doesn’t work.
    I dialog says that my serial number is not valid for the product I am trying to install.
    What is wrong with the license I purchased?

    Hi! About a year ago I bought a used computer with CS5 Master Collection (pretty much the only reason I bought is was because of that program.) The program was newly installed so I registered it to my Adobe ID. Now that computer is about to give up and I would like to install it on my new computer but I can't make it work. When I put in the serial number I get a message telling me that the serial number isn't valid for that product, but that can't be right. CS5 is the only product I've registered and under "My products" on my Adobe ID it says Master Collection, version 5. The only thing I can think about is that it could be a school licence, as I bought it from a school. If so is it still possible to make it work or is it no longer possible since the computer doesn't belong to the school anymore?
