Afrojack Forget the world pre-ordered album thats now out wont download!
Hi I've pre-ordered Afrojacks new album forget the world and I've got 3 songs from the album that were available to download at the time but the rest wont download it just comes up with purchased but no download button and i just think that this is unfair because I've paid the money and now my songs aren't coming through! I am very disappointed with that part of the itunes store and this has happened to various people with various albums online. Please help me sort this out. Thanks.

It sounds like you pre ordered an album, but for some reason it hasn't downloaded to your library. Start by checking for any available downloads with this:
Download a pre-ordered item
When a pre-ordered item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download your pre-order.
If you enabled the option to automatically download prepurchased content in iTunes, then your pre-ordered content may already be in your library. If not, click the download link provided in your email notification, and your pre-ordered content will begin to download. You can also use the Check for Available Downloads feature in iTunes on your computer (choose Store > Check for Available Downloads) to begin downloading your pre-order.

Then if nothing downloads, check your purchased history to see if you can find the album there and download it:

HT5714 Will I be charged extra for pre-ordering an album that has already released a few songs?
I pre-ordered an album for $18, and the album already had a few songs released on it. It seems that I received these songs instantly, but I also paid for them separately, which as most know, is more expensive than buying a full album. Does this mean that an additional $18 will be deducted from my account even though I've already paid for those separate few songs, and will I be charged for each song that releases up till the release date of the album?
I just thought I was paying $18, but now it looks like I'm paying more.

I actually just finished sending iTunes an email about it (supposed to get back to me within 24 hours) and then found this article. I would suggest you do the same, but if you don't I'll try to remember to post back what I hear from them. I've always had great support for the odd thing that didn't work properly (like a glitch in a TV show or something) so I'm sure they'll clear this up without a problem. I asked the same thing too though, about what price I actually get charged, so hopefully I'll also get a response to that too. But yes, according to most pre-order rules in other stores, it should be the price we pre-ordered it for. Oh and yes I've checked for available downloads from the iTunes Store menu, but it just told me everything has been downloaded already. I double-checked my library to be sure it hadn't downloaded in the background but it was definitely not there. It has not downloaded yet.

Why won't some of my songs, that used to sync, sync to my iPhone5 now? There is an empty circle appearing to the left of the check mark in iTunes for the songs that are not properly syncing.
I've continued tests on different films, and tried my entire collection. I've found about two dozen that will play fine on the PC, but will not cooperate when streamed to either Apple TV or my iPad. I tried several more tests with the audio, and that turned out not to be a factor -- I could not replicate that on another test.
I wonder if something in the header of these files is corrupted or a flag is set incorrectly or something along those lines, as the data appears to be fine -- it's just not "handshaking" with my streaming hardware and/or the Apple Home Sharing code that powers it.
Is there any way for me to "scrub" these files and amend their headers, or get into the file and tinker with that info by hand? -
Out of no where suddenly Itunes refuses to get my album artwork. The info is exactly the same as Itunes but it refuses to get any artwork. I tried signing in and out, then back in. Nothing seems to work! Why won't it get my album artwork?
.wav tracks don't have a tag, so you can't save artwork, or indeed other metadata to them. Use AIFF or Apple Lossless if you want the highest quality, but 256k or 320k mp3 may be just as good depending on the equipment you have and your own hearing.

I backed my old iphone up to my computer and bought a new iphone. When i backed my new phone up I now I have an icloud photo (from my computer) album that I want to delete from my phone but I do not have the option. Please help.
If the album was synced to your phone from your computer, it can only be removed by sycing it off. To do this, deselect the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.

How do I stop Genius from recommending songs and albums that are already in my iTunes music library?
With greater and greater frequency, Genius is recommending songs and albums that are already in my music library. Up to 80% of the recommendations!. I am hesitant to give these suggestions a thumbs down, as I like the songs (afterall, I own them) and don't want to give the impression that I don't like the artist, genre, etc. as I appreciate how Genius works, when it does work.
I have updated Genius and updated iTunes Match, to no avail.
This quirk -- recommending music already in my library -- used to be a rare event. Now, most of the recommendations I get are for music I already own.
How can I fix this?To be a little bit more accurate the said book sits in my Documents on my Macbook, purchased through iTune for free in iTunes Store>Books. I can find it with Finder on my Macbook. It says it is in my Documents but it does not appear in the Documents folder in my Dock. Great! Even the iTunes Store says it is downloaded already. And why when I search for it with Finder on my Mac and click on the result does a window open up full of comoter language? I need some help.

Why won't Adobe reader no longer let me view previously download (from Safari) pdf's? I am running OSX 10.8.5 and have uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of Reader. I get this error message "Adobe Reader could not open 'OD Test Bed Proposals_0.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." I have tried changing the 'open with' options too. Thanks
Try this:
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins
Trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files
Empty the trash
Relaunch Safari. You can now download undamaged PDFs. -

For some reason the Apple servers are having an issue retaining the bank card's CVV code (three digit security code) in the payment method area. Every time I run into an issue, whether in the iTunes Store or the Mac App Store, when I check my account info the CVV code has been missing every time!
Try resolving the problem from iTunes, you have more access to your account details in iTunes. Sometimes it seems that when there is a problem with incorrect or incomplete information regarding your method of payment the Mac App Store's warnings get confusing.
Open iTunes, enter the iTunes Store, then log in and review your account information. Make sure that the billing address is correct and that if needed, the CVV code, the three digit security code from your bank card, is correct. On your way out reset the notifications. -
While downloading a book from iTunes, my internet service was interrupted and i didn't get the entire book. Now when i try to download it, i get the message that i already have downloaded it. It hit the download button in the purchased section, and nada! How can i re-download the book?

Try this:
Open your iBooks app on your iPad
Select the Store Button at the top
Select Purchased at the bottom
You will see your AppleID on the right at the bottom, then Redeem, then Support
Click on your Apple ID, and when the AppleID window comes up with the options, Sign Out
Then Sign In again and try redownloading your book

Not sure what is going on here. I pre-ordered an album. One of the songs was available for instant download so I have that in my library now. I received an email saying that the rest of the album is available for download. When I go into my purchased songs as instructed, it only shows 2 other songs from that album. Not sure what I need to do.

Depending on your settings, the songs may already have been downloaded to your iTunes library.

HT4623 Why are there some purchased albums that can't be downloaded?
There are several albums that I bought and need to download, but when I go to the album, it says "purchased" and there's no option to download. I also went to purchased albums, and it isn't in there.
Because the developers do not make them available in all countries.
You can ONLY buy from the itunes store of your country of residence ( as proven by the valid billing address on your credit card) AND you can ONLY buy while inside the borders of that country. -
Bought albums that never d/led but was still charged for them
i tried to buy two albums that never downloaded and when i checked my bank statement online it had charged me twice for them. i want my money back. :o(
If that does not work, and you still want to try to have your money credited to you account, contact your financial institution. However, do not wait very long. Usually you will have 60 days from the time you received yor statement to dispute a transaction purchased using your ATM/VCK. Check with your financial institution for exact dispute details and time frames. I work at a financial institution, so I encounter this daily. Try to see if iTunes will resolve this for you first.
I requested credit 2x from the iTunes store...the first time, they did not respond, and the second time, the only reason why they responded was because I sent a technical support email (I have lots of issues with iTunes) and after two emails (to tech support, they said they only handled billing. So, I responded and said I had billing issues also, and to not send me a non technical support email when they had already sent me two technical support emails. Consequently, I am disputing the charge for services paid for but never received. -

I have an account fully authorized complete with a credit card, so it is puzzling or a blip in Apples system!Is it hidden via an app age rating in Settings > General > Restrictions ? If not then you could try a reset and see if it shows after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
