WLS 10.3.3 - BEA-280061 The persistent store could not be deployed

Hi,
We have an application which is using WLS 10.3.3. After installing, whenever we start a managed server, it fails with:

On investigation, the data/store directory does exist and the path is correct, but the store name directory does not - so for example if the store is called XYZ, there is no folder XYZ in data/store.
There are no errors in the managed server log at all up until this point.
We can get this working by:
* Starting the Managed server
* It fails
* ShutDown the Managed Server
* Create the folder XYZ using mkdir
* Start the Managed Server (this works)
This is the associated section from the config.xml:
<file-store>
<name>XYZ</name>
<target>manserv-1</target>
</file-store>
This is a four node cluster and this store is deployed to all of the nodes - all four nodes have the same issue.
Obviously I'd like to know why this is happening so we can correct it. I have looked round the web but can't see this particular error anywhere.
Thanks in advance for any help

Make sure the directory to which the file store points in available.
- Target attribute of the file store (The server instances or migratable targets defined in the current domain that are candidates for hosting the
file store. In a clustered environment, a recommended best practice is to target a custom file store to the same migratable target as the migratable
JMS service, so that a member server will not be a single point of failure. A file store can also be configured to automatically migrate from an
unhealthy server instance to a healthy server instance with the help of the server health monitoring services.)
- Directory attribute of the file store (The path name to the file system directory where the file store maintains its data files. When targeting a
file store to a migratable target, the store directory must be accessible from all candidate server members in the migratable target. For highest
availability, you can use a SAN (Storage Area Network) disk.)
Note that a filestore is a singleton service and is targetted to one server in the cluster at a time, in your case manserv-1.
So on the machine where manserv-1 runs you must make sure the directory "/<PATH TO STORE>/XYZ exists.

  • BEA-141151 The admin server could not be reached at ...

I have been at this for 3 days now... I created a new ManagedServer, but I'm not able to make it connect to the Admin server.
The Admin server is running and listening on port 5306. I can connect to the Admin Console (web).
I can also connect to the Admin server via WLST, using this command: connect('operator','operator01','t3://localhost:5306')
However, when I try to run the managed server from a script, it does not see the Admin server. This is the command I run:
    java -Dweblogic.Name=ManSer1 -Dweblogic.management.server=t3://localhost:5306 -Dweblogic.RootDirectory=<path to my domain> weblogic.Server
This is the error I get:
<BEA-141151> <The admin server could not be reached at http://localhost:5306.>
I believe it's trying to connect using "http", because I've never actually connected in the past. Here is a website explaining this: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13749/weblogicserver.htm#i1031832
Note: Regardless of which protocol you specify, the initial download of a Managed Server's configuration is over HTTP or HTTPS. After the RMI subsystem initializes, the server instance can use the T3 or T3S protocol.
I'm not sure what else to try... Firewalls are not in play, since this is traffic moving around on the local machine. I'm running on SunOS. Weblogic is version 9.2 MP3.
    Appreciate any help.

Is the NodeManager , AdminServer running ?The NodeManager is not running. Is it required?
Also, I haven't closed the command prompt.
I noticed the issue when I tried to deploy my project. Connected to Localhost/7001 but in the deploy project window, I dont see any soa_server instance
running. Also, in the console the soa_server status is shutdown.

  • Syncing iCloud with contacts and calendar in MS Outlook 2007, will get message that "the set of folders cannot be opened.  The information store could not be opened."

I install the iCloud Control Panel and information is uploaded from my Outlook Contact folder to iCloud.  ICloud folders are created and syncing process between my iPhone, iCloud, and Outlook works for a while (day or 2).  Then, when I open Outlook after a day of 2, I get the above message that "The set of folders cannot be opened.  The information store could not be opened."  The only resolve that I have found is to uninstall the iCloud Control Panel, the reboot my Windows computer, then reinstall the iCloud Control Panel and resync contacts and calendar to icloud.  This is getting to be very cumbersome to use this feature.  What is the cause of the problem that it keeps on disconnecting to iCloud?

I have also fixed it by uninstalling and then reinstalling iCloud, but as you have experienced, the problem recurs without reason.  Apple would/could not help as they say that the problem is with Microsoft's Outlook and that I should talk to them.  Microsoft's techies won't help without me paying some £200 as I have a Professional - a student's - version of Office 2007.  This is scandalous.  It is obvious, from the many who have reported the same problem n this forum, that Microsoft should look into this urgently and create a fix

    Hi,
Basically you have tried a lot but the issue still exists, now one more suggestion I can provide is to make sure Outlook is not configured to run in Compatibility Mode:
Take Windows 7 for example, in Start -> Type "Outlook" in the search box -> Right click on the "Outlook 2013" shortcut -> Click Properties -> Under Compatibility tab -> Make sure "Run this program in compatibility
    mode for" is clear.
This method has resolved the issue for some users in this thread below:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2007-office_install/cannot-start-microsoft-office-outlook-error-cannot/e75265b4-044f-4d92-a078-1acbf9ae34d6
I hope the information is helpful.

It's recommended to download and install
Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office

  • Cannot open you default e-mail folders. The information store could not be opened?

    Hi
I have a freshly installed version of windows (windows 7 ultimate x64) and when I put my credentials into Microsoft office via the Hotmail outlook connector (x64) i receive the following error message
Cannot open you default e-mail folders. The information store could not be opened
is there a way around this?

What's the version of Office you are using? Is it a 64bit or 32bit edition?
Check if Outlook is in a compatibility mode:
    1> Open My Computer>Local Disk C>Program Files>Microsoft Office>Office XX>Outlook.exe.
(If you are using a 64 bit machine and not using Office 64bit, go to C:\Program Files x86\Microsoft Office>Office XX>Outlook.exe)
2> Right click on Outlook.exe and click on Properties and then click onCompatibility tab. Check if you have any check mark in any of the compatibility mode options. Make sure you also click on the option "change
settings for all users" tab at the bottom of the same screen and look for similar check boxes in the window.
3> If you see any check boxes in the compatibility mode options, uncheck all the boxes and click onApply and OK.
4> Try to open outlook again.
    Thanks.

  • I am a new user and my Iphone sound stopped. The Verizon store could not fix it so a new Iphone has arrived.  What do I do to keep all the apps I have on the phone? Can I transition them somehow to my new Iphone or do I start all over?

I am a new Iphone user so I am going to sound very dumb. The sound in my phone stopped working for some unknown reason about a month in. Verizon could not fix so a new phone was sent. I sit here with my current soundless Iphone and the new one. The guy at Verizon moved my contacts over but what can I do to get all the apps I downloaded to be on my new Iphone before I send the current one back? He said something about downloading something on the my PC (not a mac) and then restoring from the PC to the new phone.  Where do I start getting the stuff downloaded from my current soundless phone to the PC?

For the last 6 days I have been getting the above message when trying to login and update my account in App Store. I only get as far as the Terms & Conditions page, click the accept and that's it. So far I have not seen any other advice on this forum then to wait it out. Any other suggestions?

Same here in Mexicali, Baja California with my iPhone 3G. I am using a debit card which matches my billing address (apple suggested me this possible error) but still doesnt work.
Created a different Apple ID, triple checked the info and same error appears, i cant even cancel on iTunes.
Any update from someone or should we just keep trying until the servers are back on?
    Thanks!

  • Unable to get the dataSources while creating the persistent stores.

Hi, While I am trying to create a persistent store (JDBC Store) I am unable to see the already created DataSources in the dropdown menu. I also tried creating new DataSource from Persistent Store creating screen but still could not see.
Following steps followed while creating DataSource.
    Fill in the values for
    Name, E.g.: JD-JDBC-Store.
    JNDI Name – jdbc/JobDispatcherDS.
    DatabaseType – Oracle
Database Driver - Retain the default selection
    Click on ‘Next’
    Click on ‘Next’
    Fill in values for:
Database Name – SID of the Database
Host Name – The hostname/IP on which the Database is running
    Port – DB Port
    Database User Name - JOBUSER.
    Password – JOBUSER
    Click on ‘Next’
Click on ‘Test Configuration’ to ensure the correctness of the values. Got a success message on the screen.
    Click on ‘Next’
Select your target server. E.g.: AdminServer
    Click on ‘Finish’
Following steps while creating the Persistent Store
Clicked on New button. Select ‘Create New JDBC Store’ Option
    Fill in the values.
    name – E.g.: JD-JDBC-Store
    Target server - admin Server.
data source - not able to get any to select from the DropDown.
    Thank You,
    Naresh.

    Dear Rajesh ,
I am assuming your server is on Windows  :
    For Eg.
My SID is PRD and system number 02 and hostname prdserver then command should be execute like :
    E:\usr\sap\PRD\DVEBMGS02\exe>jcmon pf=E:\usr\sap\PRD\SYS\profile\PRD_DVEBMGS02_prdserver
    Rest all are same :
In JControl Monitor Program - Main Menu :
    Select : 20 : Local Administration Menu
And check the status of server0 process it shoud be up and running .

Thank you for posting your answer, and then solution! :> I was fighting
with my IIS/WLS installation last night when I was about to give up, I came
across your posting. Although I'm playing with 7, I thought I would try
reading your posting anyways, and thankfully I did. What I saw, reminded me
to look at the steps one more time and I found I wasn't forwarding the
.wlforward piece on! So thank you veyr much! :>>>>

    Fixed it.
I had mapped .wlforward to iisforward.dll instead of iisproxy.dll
