My team have smartcard security project now , we buy blank smart card from some friend in china.
the suplier already gave us the step for Pre-Personalization, we already follow that step one by one :
1. select root using transport key >>> ok
00 a4 04 00 10 (transport key)
2. boot to jcop card >>> ok

3. write the new card manager AID >>> here we have some problem ....
we follow the instruction to write command from our supplier >> is (a2) B0 (a1) (a0) <DATA>
can somebody help us to understand this step, to fill a2,a1,a0 variable from that command . ?

If you are referring to editing your payment method, you can do this on your iPod touch.
Tap Settings > Store > Use Existing Apple ID and sign in.
That should take you the Account Setttings window where you can change your payment type.

Today, after it happened twice in 12 hours, someone told me to reset - i thought they meant reset all settings, not network settings. while in the middle of resetting, there was an invalid SIM card again. so a few questions - which should i do first? try to manually back up from itunes (not connected to cloud - will be after tonight!), or eject SIM card? don't know if one will jeopardize the other. also, the last time i backed up was 6 days ago - have taken hundreds of pics since then - are those all lost? is there a way to essentially not reset? i thought the reset was okay because it said i'd lose no data or media. Actually, this is how I do my projects   . . . I pull together all the assets (video clips, stills, graphics) and tag them in a database. Then, I can pull them into various segments.   I learned the ctrl+m five years ago when it was suggested on the old forum by some guy named named Steve Grisetti.
Example - - - I've done multiple soccer videos. There are maybe 16 players on a team... each is a tag.   There are great headers . . . that's a tag . . . don't forget awesome defensive plays . . . tag.   A tag for screwups / funny.    A tag for regular season play, a tag for post-season playoffs, etc.
This allows you to build it as you go.   So, as you start to compile a season end video, it's relatively simple to pull content.    Oops, you review the segments and see that one kid's hardly included... select the tag with their name and you can pull in a few more clips.   If you're documenting a season, you can see how the database is coming along and determine you need more footage of certain situations and then adjust the shooting priorities at the next couple games, etc.
As you build the collection, possible themes come... perhaps a song or two that might add an element or tie things together.
SO... goal is to assemble a collection of decent and tight clips (leaving room for handles on each). Tossing out all the superferlous stuff.    In shooting a 90 minute soccer game, there can be times when I end up with only ten minutes of visually interesting stuff.
I'm also compiling content to be used in a video for a cool company here in Seattle.   Different thing altogether, but will take a similar apporach (fewer digital assets, however).
I don't usually take assets from one project and put onto another . . . especially when doing youth sports, this could create issues.

Unable to access to GemXpresso Card Manager with JCOP 312 pluggin

I´m using JCOP 312 to install applets in GemXpresso 211 cards but I´m not able to achieve it. Before I achieved to install applets with JCOP 312 in JCOP 211 cards without problems. I read in others threads of this forum that it´s possible to install applets in GemXpresso cards with JCOP using com.ibm.jc.GX211CardManager class in JCOP configuration in addition to change Card Manager AID.
I don´t have the com.ibm.jc.GX211CardManager class so I can´t test this issue. does anyone have this class? I woul´d very appreciated if anyone could pass me this class.
I don´t know no other form to use GemXpresso cards with JCOP 312 eclipse pluggin.

Yes Safarmer, this is the point, "to determine what these setting are" :-). I know to configure JCOP plugin parameters in accordance with javacard type,
but the problem is find out values of these parameters (AID Card Manager, key values,...).

As you see, there are problems to access to this card with GemXpresso card, basically it´s not be able to select Card Manager.
I know I should to change AID Card Manager and Card Manager class to this: "/card -a A000000018434D - c com.ibm.jc.GX211CardManager" but the point is
I don´t have GX211CardManager class. Moreover I don´t know values of the keys to use with this cards type.

You could use GET STATUS command to get Card Manager AID.
Let see section 9.4 in GP 2.1.1 specification for detail.GET STATUS requires you authenticate to the card manager first. If the card manager is not the default selectable applet you cannot use this. For a GP card, a SELECT with no AID provided should select the card manager and the AID should be in the response.

Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.

Trying change my credit card info from previously lost credit card but can't since it says I'm accessing from new device and asks for security code for a card i no longer have. What can I do?

I've recently gotten a new laptop and replaced my damaged iphone. Apparently these 2 scenarios qualify as "new devices". This is fine but I also had lost my credit card previously that was connected to my iTunes account, and got a new one with all different numbers. When I try to change my billing information to this new card it won't let me because it says
"Your account has been accessed from a new device, and you must verify your payment information before you can make purchases."
and it asks for the security code of the card I had lost and replaced! I am not able to change my billing info to my new card thus because I can't get past this.

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.

It would be best for you to open iTunes, sign in and view your account. If all the purchases were paid already instead of entering your new card information, it will give you an option for "NONE" as a payment method. Again this is not applicable of you have a pending charges with iTUnes
