XML input: Node

hi experts.
          I can't create an XML input file for my custom BO with node items.
          When I export the XML file from the schema, a warning pops up showing that it is not exportable.
          Is it because of the schema that I created from Service Integration?
Regards,
May T.

Hello Fred and thank you very much for your help!
That is exactly what I did.
Here is the code of my staging Expense report, the dummy BO:
import AP.Common.GDT as apCommonGDT;
import AP.ExpenseReimbursementManagement.Global as ERM;
businessobject StagingExpenseReport {
        element MyInputrow: ID;
        element MyExpenseReportID: ExpenseReportID;
        element MyEmployeeID: EmployeeID;
        element MyExpenseReportTypeCode: ExpenseReportTypeCode;
        element MyPeriod: UPPEROPEN_LOCAL_DateTimePeriod;
        element MyDescription: LANGUAGEINDEPENDENT_EXTENDED_Text;
        element MyReferenceExpenseReportReceiptID: ID;
        element MyReceiptTypeCode: ExpenseReportExpenseTypeCode;
        element MyReceiptCategoryCode: ExpenseReportExpenseCategoryCode;
        element MyAmount: Amount;
        element MyPaymentAmount: Amount;
        element MyNetAmount: Amount;
        element MyReceiptDate: Date;
        element SameExpenseReport: Indicator;
But with this BO structure you can only create one Item/Receipt in each Staging Expense report. [1-1] relationship as everything is in the Root node.
So for example, in order to get a standard expense report with 2 receipts, I would need to create two instances of my Staging/dummy BO from the XML, each with one receipt. And using the ABSL to find which dummy BO goes to which Expense Report.
Am I mistaking or I understood well?
Because the thing is we cannot XML upload a child node in a custom BO neither if I got it right.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards.

  • Creating target field based on input node

    Hi all,
      I'm facing a problem in creating the target node based on input node. See if the input node value is repeated I don't want to create the target field for the second occurrence.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_temp xmlns:ns0="urn:test">
       <row>
          <temp_id>1002</temp_id>
       </row>
       <row>
          <temp_id>1002</temp_id>
       </row>
    </ns0:MT_ItemEvent>
    In the above structure you can see the temp_id is repeated , I want to create only one target node. Plz help me to solve this.

    HI,
    Use the UDF and in that use Vector to create the result list with the values.
    use temp_id as imput and before that remove context
    after the UDF use the Splitbyvalue
    See the below code
    String () a;
    Vector prod = new Vector();
    for (i=0;i<a.length;i++){
    if(!prod.contains(a(i))) prod.add(a(i));
    Collections.sort(prod);
    for(i=0;i<prod.size();i++){
    result.addValue((String) prod.get(i));

  • XML input into BPEL Process

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a BPEL process which receives XML input and then uses this input to insert data into the database.
    I have a stored procedure which will accept the input variables and do the insert.
    My XML looks like below:
    <Acc_type>
    <code> ABC </code>
    <name> Savings Account </name>
    </Acc_type>
    My stored Procedure has to input variables - code and name. I have changed the Receive activities, Process Request to include 2 inputs - code and name.
    I am not sure what changes need to be made to specify that the input will be in XML and also how to map the XML to the variables.
    Also, is it possible to use the same format for the XML as used when you initiate a BPEL Process and select XML Source? If I do this will I still need to make other changes?
    Thanks...

    Hi,
    I have tried implementing the ora:parseEscapedXML function, I have used the following expression to copy the data in the CODE node to my variable also called CODE.
    ora:parseEscapedXML(bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload','/client:TestXML2ProcessRequest/client:input','/Acc_Type/code'))
    I get the following error message:
    ORABPEL-09500 XPath expression failed to execute. Error while processing xpath expression, the expression is "ora:parseEscapedXML(bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload','/client:TestXML2ProcessRequest/client:input','//Acc_Type/code'))", the reason is FOTY0001: type error. Please verify the xpath query.
    I am not sure if the format of my expression is correct especially - '/Acc_Type/code'
    Please help...

  • I created boolean references in my main vi block diagram and copied them to my sub vi front panel. when wire my reference in my main vi to one the input node of the sub vi the wire is broken. the error says its a class conflict why?

    i created boolean references in my main vi block diagram and copied them to my sub vi front panel. when wire my reference in my main vi to one the input node of the sub vi the wire is broken. the error says its a class conflict why?

    Expanding and clarifying what BJD said;
    After you create the temporary sub-VI that BJD mentioned, open its front panel and copy the reference control that LV created when it created the sub-VI.
    This reference control will be correct class etc that you need. Use the control to replace the original control that you were attempting to wire up.
    The technique of "create sub-VI...copy" always works for me.
    There is one more thing that you should watch out for.
    The mechanical action of the boolean can not be set for latch action when attempting to read the value using a value property node.

    Is the error message displayed in Firefox or in IE, or in a customized window that doesn't identify the browser?
    ''If it displays in Firefox:''
    It's possible that the Troubleshooter doesn't work correctly unless IE is your default browser. You could test that possibility by having IE make itself the default and testing the Troubleshooter again.
    ''If it displays in IE or embedded in another Microsoft application:''
    In a web search I found these suggestions:
    (1) Reset your Internet Explorer settings, according to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie8-windows_7/cannot-view-xml-using-xsl-style-sheet/ccfe80c6-c0db-4594-a7e3-475f9eac0e85
    (2) Try the System File Checker, according to http://ask-leo.com/why_do_i_get_the_xml_page_cannot_be_displayed_after_running_a_microsoft_troubleshooter.html
    Any luck?

  • Problem in sending XML input as String in BPEL

    Hi,
    We have a BPEL flow (assign, invoke, assign) which takes an XML input as String.
    <RegisterCustomerOnVAS><CustomerID>100</CustomerID><MSISDN>9999999</MSISDN><CustomerName>sanjeev</CustomerName><customerInfo>new user</customerInfo></RegisterCustomerOnVAS>
    Assignment is doing fine, but when Invoke calls partner link, the input is getting parsed and only the first text value (eg 100) is getting passed to the partner webservice instead of the entire XML as string.
    Can any one please help us in fixing in this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You should watch your assign activity (maybe a bad assigment level in copy rule). I think the probem is there.

    Hi Suraj,
    That option is not available in FTP mode..
    This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.
    Yes, you're right !!
    Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
    Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
    How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
    ...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.
    Thanks

  • Required Attribute style XML input from BPEL

    Hi all,
    We are integrating JDE 811 with BPEL using ORACLE SOA Suite 10133.
    As per the documentation given http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28996/bpel_pm.htm#CDEICHJB, we created the BPEL process to support transacation from BPEL to JDE 811. As given in the document we generated the WSDL in attribute style. For testing the BPEL Process, they have given the XML input in the document in the format of attribute style as given below :
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/GetYearDescription_SYNC">
    <ns1:jdeRequest type="callmethod">
    <callMethod name="GetYearDescription" runOnError="no">
    <params>
    <param name="mnCalendarYear">58</param>
    </params><onError abort="yes"/>
    </callMethod>
    </ns1:jdeRequest>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    and the output we received as
    <GetYearDescription_SYNCProcessResponsehttp://xmlns.oracle.com/GetYearDescription_SYNCPSFTcallmethodDV811*ALL>
    <callMethodGetYearDescriptionnourn:iwaysoftware:jde/services/JDEJAVA_CMFGBASE/B3000260/GetYearDescription>
    <params>
    <parammnCalendarYear>58</param>
    <paramszYearDescription>2058</param>
    </params>
    </callMethod>
    </GetYearDescription_SYNCProcessResponse>
    But, if we use the current schema and give input using normal HTML form on the BPELConsole then the error comes like
    WSIF JCA Execute of operation 'GetYearDescription' failed due to: Error in processing the input document.; nested exception is: javax.resource.ResourceException:
    Error in processing the input document.</summary>
    </part><part name="detail"><detail>javax.resource.ResourceException: Error in processing the input document.
    that is why for outbound integration we need to give raw XML during runtime as input to the bpel process in bpel console manually. and that input looks like
    Also in real time scenario, we are receiving the XML input from a third party software/Adapter that may be a flat file/.xml flat file/DB and we need to pass the similar data in BPEL to the JDE 811. Here we are not able to pass the data to JDE as the adapter accepts the input in attribute style XML.
    If we are trying to enter that input through a flat .xml file then it returns no data, as nothing is passed to that process.
    Any idea how we can process this without giving raw xml input manually during run time, means using normal HTML Form.
    if it is not possible then please tell me what will be the required XML that we have to pass as input in that flat file.
    Thanks,
    Anindya

    Hi All,
    SOAP based input is required for any BPEL process for testing in BPEL Console.
    We have created a BPEL process which is successfully receiving data from 3rd party and it is not in a SOAP format.
    That is why we are entering input manually (I have already described input in above post) while testing that BPEL process. and we can receive proper output (i have already specified what i am getting as output in my above post.)
    But in real time scenario we cant give input manually.
    how can we achieve SOAP based invocation during runtime??
    I hope my question is clear to all.
    please suggest me if anybody have any idea about this.
    Regards

  • XML input to a webservice

    Hi,
    I am facing problem of supplying an XML input as a string to a webservice deployed on my Oracle server.
    I am using jdev 10.1.3.3 to build a java project. I created a XSD and generated XML beans using xmlbeans-2.2.0. I imported the same into the project. I created a class in which a method takes a String input and converts it to the XMLDocument of the imported xml bean. I created a webservice out of the java class and exposed the method. Now when I test it by hitting the WSDL url in browser and then choosing the XML source option, the SOAP qualified xml snippet is present. How do I wrap my xml input (having a different namespace), inside the soap qualified input.

  • Change Offset value of input node in APO order

    Dear experts,
    in order to accomodate overlapping scenario in APO I calculate and update offset value of input nodes of apo planned orders. To do so I use BADI /SAPAPO/RRP_SRC_EXIT method RRP_USEX_PLORD_CREATE. I activate the BADI using heuristic SAP_PP_021. it works fine for APO planned orders. However It is not possible to change production order nodes.
    I have tried using a heuristic (copy of SAP_PP_012) that uses Function Module /SAPAPO/RRP_LC_ORDER_MODIFY. However I can not change orders as I got a livecash error.
    I also tried /SAPAPO/RRP_LC_ORDER_CHANGE. In this case I did not have LC error but I still order offset value was not changed.
    do you have any idea on how to proceed? What I really want is a method to change input nodes of production orders in APO.
    Thank You,

    Hi Anup,
    In customer exit variable you will have to populate your 0FISCPER characterstics,
    You can populate it based on system date, use the FM DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT and you will get current period based on your system date and Fiscal Year variant.
    After that you can just modify these values. and populate your 0FISCPER characteristics.
    If you have to do this calculations based on user input date then follow the same procedure but instead of system date you will have to pass the date entered by customer to this FM.
    Refer the following sample code snippet,
    IF i_step = 2.
          DATA:l_vy7(4) TYPE c,
               l_vm7(3) TYPE c.
          CLEAR: l_s_range,loc_var_range.
          LOOP AT  i_t_var_range    INTO  loc_var_range   WHERE  vnam = 'input var'.
            call the FM convert to period here and give user input date.
            l_vy7 = l_vy7 - 1.
            l_vm7 =  loc_var_range-low+4(3).
            CONCATENATE l_vy7 l_vm7 INTO loc_var_range-low.
            l_s_range-low      = loc_var_range-low.
            l_s_range-sign     = 'I'.
            l_s_range-opt      = 'EQ'.
            APPEND l_s_range   TO   e_t_range.
            EXIT.
          ENDLOOP.
        ENDIF.

  • XML Input - Business Config. Object

    Hello everyone,
    I'm having some problems using XML input files to create instances of my custom B.O.
    Here is the code for my B.O.:
    businessobject SkillBO {
            [Label ("Skill ID")][AlternativeKey]element ID:ID;
      [Label ("Contact ID")] element contactID:BusinessPartnerInternalID;
      [Label ("Primary Skill")]element mainSkill:MAINSKILLSBCOCode;

      [Label ("Skill Level")] element level:SkillLevelCode;
      element nextAvaibleID:IntegerValue;
      association ToBusinessPartner to BusinessPartner;
    As you can see the "mainSkill" and "subSkill" elements are of a codelist datatype. This codelist is generated by a Business Configuration Object.
    I also created Business Configuration Sets to provide values for these elements.
    I don't know what values to put in my Excel-file for these elements. I've tried the code, the actual value, etc. ...
    But every time I try to upload it (after converting the Excel to XML of course) nothing happens.
    For some reason I can't attach the XML, XLS or XSD...
    If you need more information, feel free to ask.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Glenn

    Here are some screenshot of my main -and sub skill BCC:
    What should I put in the "value"' field in my excel? The ID or the actual value? (1 or ERP)
