Y is it that my iphone 3gs that has never been jailbroken is droping calls like crazy i called rogers and they said its a ios 4.3.3. problem and if u google it alot of ppl are having this problem but apple doe nothing about it ??
i called rogers and asked them about this and they said its a ios 4.3.3 problem i called apple and they were like too bad. we dont know theres a problem and its all over google if u look for it its making my phone very hard to use for work thinking about going back to my htc phone if this doesnt get fixed soon

I've never experienced a dropped call on my iPhone and I always update to the latest version.
Have you tried basic troubleshooting steps?
Why does everyone assume Apple has to fix the issue, quite honestly, when a call drops there is no way to tell which end it got dropped on or if the network simply dropped the call.

Hi there. I have 3GS and tried to up-date it today (19 Feb 2013) with iTunes and now I can't activate it! it shows the "Your iPhone could not be activated. tha activation server is unavailable...". The iPhone has never been jailbroken!!!

Why does my iphone say it has never been backed up
my iphone says it has never been backed up, or last back incomplete or back up failed, yet my icloud will say it has been backed up. why is this happening?
Did you ever get an answer to this? My phone started saying this over six months ago..it says it has never been backed up and icloud doesn't have enough storage. I don't even have ANY music and only about 100 pictures. I sync it to my computer all the time and when I do it says it's completely up to date.

You have to download and run the upgrader then launch iPhoto. Go to the utilities folder in Applications and launch the iPhoto upgrader. Then launch iPhoto and it will upgrade the library

This is super frustrating.
I tried to uninstall iPhoto and all related files and then reinstall but I keep getting the same result.
I have spent hours trying to fix this and nothing seems to work. I am pretty good with computers so I think this requires some expert help. I notice many people are stuck with this problem. Do I have to go and buy the disk from the store? How ironic that I was updating the software online so I could use photostream. Now the solution may be I need to go back to the "old school" way of doing things. Lucky I don't have a mac airbook. Lol.Re-installing the app is unlikely to help because the problem is with the Library and not the application.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

As above McAfee apparently feels the fault is with FF. I will admit that under the latest 3 version it worked fine. I skipped version 4 because of some things a read about it. I did go with FF5.
The McAfee Site Advisor add-on is blocklisted by Mozilla due to that Site Advisor extension being the #2 cause of crashing the Firefox 5.0 betas. Yes, I have near-perfect hearing too (for scope, squeaky brakes hurt my ears) I come from many conversations on many phones and types and first off, CDMA technology is great for coverage, terrible for voice quality. HD Voice in Europe made for some of the best phone conversations I've ever had.
Back on track, feedback is most noticable (similar to the landline phone) when using the iPhone without a headset, but for me it's not an absolute criticality mainly because I use VoIP apps alot, so maybe it has desensitized me some over the past year.
But whenever I'm on a call, and the other person has me on speakerphone, I have alot of trouble talking because of the feedback loop caused. So the less of my voice I hear the better I can talk.
Have you tried a bluetooth headset yet? -
my iphone 4s was continually searching for a newtwork my carrier informed me my iphone needed a service or exchange. i drove 2hrs and paid $239 to exchange my iphone. i then went to activate it and i recieve a message saying activation failed. the SIM card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported. contact apple for support. i rang apple and they informed me its my sim or the carrier. i rang the carrier and they said its apple. i have also tried activating the phone by using another carriers sim and the same carriers sim from another persons working phone. still get the same message.

Apple didn't lock the phone, and you'll be waiting until kingdom come of you think that Apple will unlock it.
Only the carrier to which a phone is locked can authorize the unlocking.
