Archiving stops with no reason

Hi,
I'm trying to enable archiving on a XE database:
1. Change from 2 redo log groups to 3 adding one and change the size to 100M each file.
2. Enable archiving.
Shutdown
Mount
alter database archivelog
Open
Shutdown
Startup
Until this point all went fine, but after few minutes archiving stops sending:

Problem resolved: archiving it not really stopped, only archive process 3 witch is arc2.
If I verify the parameter
show parameter log_archive_max_processes
Shows 2 for the number of processes. If anyone has questions could read this post:

Hi,
I've had my xperia since yesterday and already had a couple of problems, but this one is the most annoying.
When i am listening to music on spotify it stops with totally no reason and it is impossible to turn it on again. once i tried turning off the phone but then i couldnt turn it on once again... (thankfully i finally managed to do it, pressing on/off button and volume up button at the same time). anyway i dont want to restart my phone everytime the app breaks down, actually i don't want the app to break down.
What should I do?

Cisco ELM DB on the subscriber stopped with no reason

Hello,
We have CUCM 9.1.2 with 5 nodes,
On the RTMT we can see an alert about Cisco ELM DB stopped on one of the subscribers.
We only use the ELM on the pub so we don't actually need this service but we can't manage to fix this alert.
What can be the reason for that?

My iPod touch is not resonding to iTunes and I have the latest update. I plug it in and it begins to sync, then stops with no reason why. Is there a way this can be fixed?

Seems, iTunes can't read your backup anymore. Copy the backup folder to a safe place before you delete the latest backup from the list in iTunes/Preferences/Devices
The folder where your backup data is stored changes depending on the computer's operating system. Since iTunes only keeps one backup per device, you should ensure the backup folder is included in your periodic data backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory.

Sapinst stops with error while installing ess component for Java AS

We are installing a ABAP/Java AS development system and sapinst has gone through 75% of all execution tasks nicely,
but then stopped with error while deploying components for the Java AS:

Thanks Désirée for your answer and apologies for the late update on this one.
This issue is resolved now, the reason for the error was a lack of memory which probably triggered a timeout in sapinst. After upgrading the memory to 7GB and re-starting the ABAP+Java AS and resuming sapinst everything went through fine. However, this was hard to spot because the logs wouldn't tell you about the lack of memory but about everything else!

Rewire won't work with Logic + Reason

I started a project with Logic + Reason and everything was working fine. But then one day it stopped working.
1. It'll work without Rewire (just a mixer in Reason)
2. The Aux channels on the Logic mixer don't indicate any levels.
3. The level indicators on the Hardware Device in Reason aren't indicating any signal
4. Rewire DID work one day after it wasn't working but now it isn't again.
5. I've tried restarting my computer and even changing my audio device to "Built-In Audio"

I have been having this same problem. One time Rewire will work and the next try it won't. I found that Logic will not see the Rewire channels when you go to add an Aux channel in the mixer screen. If you see the Rewire channels in this section, then Rewire will work. If not then Rewire will not see Reason and it will not function. It just started happening for me this last week or so. I wonder if Apple made some sort of change that is causing this problem. I never had a problem with Reason before this last week or so. It was always a really solid program interface before this. I am getting frustrated. I have reloaded Reason and Logic with no change. AI deleted the rewire files in the library. It may then function once and then it goes bad again. Can anyone Help Us?

J2EE Engine Stopped with Error 11113

I have checked all the UME properties and are fine. I am trying to connect to ECC 6.0 Clnt 800 with Communication user I created called "portaluser" and the pwd along with system number and application host.
I tried giving all the details in Configtool > Ume properties but again the same problem J2EE is getting stopped with the same error.
About the SAPJSF user, it has been created while installation as a Dailog user in the EP system. I logged into the EP system and checked that in SU01. It there but not as a communication user but as a Dialog user.
Can you let me know what could be the issue ?

TV shows stopping for no reason

I have a problem with tv shows stopping for no reason on the iPod Touch. First the sound disappears, and then the show stops and I get booted back to the main menu. This has happened with four completely different tv shows. I never had this problem with the 5th gen. What is going on?

No this is different. I am not pushing the home button. I will be in the middle of watching a video, and first the audio will stop while the video continues for a few more seconds, and then I will suddenly be bounced back to the main menu. No buttons pushed. Like it's crashing or something.

[thunderbird] Freezes completely with no reasons

Hi.
For 2-3 days (since the big update for gnome 3.6), thunderbird has been freezing for no reason, without any error message when launched in the shell. I tried to deactivate all my extensions, tried to create a new profile, but nothing worked.
I'm completely running out of ideas. Could you give me a hand please ?

As I'm still trying to fix this bug, I post an "update":
If I put the offline mod before Thunderbird starts to freeze, I do not encouter the bug anymore. So I think it could be a network problem. But d*mn, isn't there a way to have error messages ?

I am using Cups 1.6.2, kernel 3.5.3, KDE 4.9 (if it makes any difference). I tried downloading the Lexmark drivers from the web, no joy. In fact, after being prompted to plug in the printer to the computer, the driver installation seems to freeze (it does not respond to me connecting the printer via USB).
I also tried adding through Cups web interface, same thing. The "state" says "stopped: filter failed".
Any help?

Playlist(s) stop for no reason

I have a couple playlists where at the end of different songs, the ipod stops for no reason - doesn't go to next song. I know that the entire list hasn't played yet and there is no max. set for number of songs.

There is a firewall on my AIX 5.2. The EM uses the port 5500 as the connection. After emctl stop dbconsole/emctl start dbconsole, the error message disappeared. I need to check my JRE on the AIX. my colleague reported me something related to the JRE. Does anyone know how to verify the environement of JRE on AIX 5.3 run by Oracle? There are some log and trc files in the $ORACLE_HOME/$host_sid/sysman/log associated with the monitoring the conditions of the JAVA in Oracle. Does anyone how to interpretate the info about those file?

1 minute schedule jobs stop withouyt any reason

Hello. I have a few jobs on my sql server that runs every minute. Sometimes they stop without any reason (like they were stuck). To solve this problem I need to manully "start job at step X". I use those jobs to insert data into tables and when I
searched on those I can see holes about 12-24 hours (hours where those jobs didn't run). Can you please help me finding out the problem?

Did you check Job history? Does it show any error message or something that might help you?
It may be because of locking/blocking. Objects used by your jobs are being used by some other resouces that makes job in wait state for longer. (just a guess)

I verified the job history, there eere not any erros over there. All I can see there is the last run of the job. I need to add that jobs stop working at around 23:57/23:58 PM. Those tables are only used be my so they dont block, I access them only 1-2 times
/ day with <nolock). I seached on SQL log, event viewer, traces, job history (jub runs for about 30-40 seconds, it did not run more then 1 minute)

Two deductions for invoice with same reason code posted as one line item

Hi
We have a scenario wherein we are taking two or more deductions on the same invoice and are using the same reason code which have a setting of charge off.
SAP system displays the FI posting with same reason codes with charge off setting as one line item.
However we want the FI Posting to display separate line items per deduction and not combine amounts of deductions based on same reason code with charge off setting.
Any comments are appreciated.

Hi,
you can use different reason codes in distribute differences screen once you have fist selected one reason code for one invoice.
