Mark Evaluation Procedure
Hi Zubin,
Can I get information about the certification exam marks?
Do they give 1 mark for each question and convert into percentage?
OR
Are there give 2 or 3 marks for any question?
I'm just confused about this mark evaluation. Radio button option questions have 1 option so, is it carries 1 mark? and multi choice quests have 2 or 3 answers so, is it carries 2 or 3 marks? Totally there are 80 questions and passing minimum is 55%. How are they calculating?
Please give the procedure of calculation.

It is very simple.
They give 1 mark to each question and then these are converted into %age.
Atleast that is what happened with my FI certification.
No negative marking.
Guess that simplifies and there is no such defined "PROCEDURE" that is published. So this is it.

S60 5th - mark/unmark procedure needs improvement!

I think that the current way for marking/unmarking things in the 5530XM (and I've read is the same for the 5800) is too complicated!! When selecting several items (files, messages, appointments) it's nonsense to go to the menu for each of them. There should be a checkbox (or a menu item that makes appear checkboxes for purposes of multiple selection) that with a single tap would select things.
Something similar holds for to-do items: I wish to be able to mark items as completed just by tapping the checkbox besides it. Even better if it can be done in the homescreen!
RegardsThe current mark/unmark function is anything but easy to use. Trying to mark an item for deletion actually is a bit slower than deleting items one at a time. Marking items may come to use when processing large files. In that case you would just leave the device to process them instead of waiting and tapping. I too hope this function will be enhanced in the future firmware updates. To get that fixed youd better tell nokia.This here is just us helping each other.

UCCX 8 - Custom Stored Procedure Not Functioning

We're trying to modify one of the agent summary reports in UCCX 8. We want the outbound report to only show numbers that were external calls. (Longer than 4 digits.) We copied and modified the existing stored procedure and it seems to run ok until we try to use it in the historical reporter. HR reports that the stored procedure cannot be found. We've followed what documentation we could find about adding one but can't get it working. We've been using ASG Server Studio to access the database. We opened a TAC case but haven't gotten anywhere. I have created a stored procedure on the informix DB for UCCX 8. i have
been following the Historical reporting admin guide. the SP runs fine when i use ASG
server studio. when i try to use crystal reports to access the SP i get "Failed to
retrieve data from the database. Details: ADO Error code 0x80004005 Source: Microsoft OLE

Routine (sp_agent_call_summar_nointernal) can not be resolved. SQL State:S1000"
if i use a standard procedure Crystal Reports works fine.
i have the uccxHrUserRole assigned to the procedure so i do not understand why i cannot
run the SP.
Any ideas, we really need to get this working.

1) There are an impressive number of bugs in early 8.0 versions; on the initial release permissions were incorrect for the existing SPs so the uccxHrUser couldn't run them. You could copy them, so had to copy them and run the copies.. tedious.
If you are on a working version, the other gotcha is that you need to specify them fully-qualified - so sp-test would be db_cra.dbo.sp_test
Also note that the SPs are randomly split between 'functions' and 'procedures' (there may be a pattern, but I can't work it). Both are similar, but there is a field in the DB that marks a proc as a fucntion or a procedure - the informix Squirrel SQL plugin doesn't work well with this and just shows the ones marked as 'procedures'. I've had better luck with RazorSQL and have recently played with the free IBM Data Studio which I think also displayed them all.
2) You can't edit the permissions of existing ones, but you can add new ones and since you (well, uccxHrUser) is the owner you can set permissions on those. Try using RazorSQL or AGS Server Studio (which is better, but $$$) to add new procs.

I had the same issue. For what it’s worth I was able to do a workaround basically creating all the columns when I create the table. The following code works for me to create the table which is just a matrix with one Integer column as the key and the rest as type Double.
It is not ideal in all scenarios because the table columns cannot be added dynamically via a procedure at a later point. This table has 27K columns now
Of course one of the advantages of a flex table would be programmatically adding columns dynamically. This works, but maybe there is still a way to add columns dynamically from a procedure, and someone else can advise.
Apparently dynamically adding columns via procedures may have some "minor" limitations due to the need to compile the procedure with knowledge of the flex table DDL. But again, hopefully someone knows another solution.

Oracle Not showing Certification Exam in HIstory
Hi,
I am in deep problem , I completed the OCPJP 6 Certification Last month (July) and from the prometric center i received my exam score report as well.
But when i checked My history in Oracle website its not showing the certification. Also in PearsonVue website the status of my certification exam is showing as "No Show".
I have also not received my Certification so far. I am required to produce this certificate as a part of my Annual Evaluation Procedure by September.
I have also Raised the SR to the oracle team after mailing for around a month.
Kindly Suggest what can be done from my side to make the process of correction fast so that i can receieve my certificate ASAP.user10945859 wrote:

i mean i prepared for 2 years.. gave exam.. cleared it.. and still i have issues with the system.. this is not good :(1) When you said Prometric Centre I assume you meant Pearson VUE Test Center.
2) Gather any information you had from the test center ... eg your score report, exam time, etc.
3) Contact Pearson VUE ( http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle/contact/ ) report the problem and get an INCIDENT NUMBER. Getting a Pearson VUE INCIDENT NUMBER is a key thing. Without an NIDENT NUMBER you are nowhere.
4) If after an agreed time Pearson VUE do not get back to you ask for the INCIDENT to be escalated. Do not ask for an escalation unles they are making no progres on resolution. Remember they may need a few days to investigate what has happened.
5) Peason VUE are not perfect, nobody much is, but in general they do appear to get most things resolved. Obviously if things have gone wrong that doesnt help much, but they usually seem to manage to get things sorted in some way or other.

I'm using PE 4.0 and have been unable to get the red-eye removal tool to work with pet eye. I suspect it doesn't work because pets reflect yellow, green and even blue light instead of red. Is this a known limitation? Is there an alternative method in PE for removing pet eye?

I've been experimenting with both of Mark's procedures in the meantime. Method 2 gave the best results when I modified it to preserve the glint in my pet's eyes. The modified Method 2 (using PE 4.0) is as follows.
1) Use Layer 1 to preserve the glint:
a) Select the background layer and use the magic wand tool to select the saturated white glint of each eye. I like the "add to the selection" option here - saves time. Copy the pixels selected and then turn off the selections (Select|Deselect).
b) Create a new layer (Layer 1, w/ defaults of normal blending and 100% opacity), select it and paste.
2) Use the brush tool as in your Method 2 to black out the pupils:
a) Create a new layer (Layer 2, w/ defaults of normal blending and 100% opacity) as the middle layer and select it.
b) Set foreground color to default black (or use the eyedropper tool to pickup a natural dark shade near the pupil from the Background Layer).
c) Paint over the pupil in Layer 2. Layer 1 should be over Layer 2 so that the glint is preserved despite the painting of Layer 2.
I did find a bug in PE 4.0 when doing this. In panning a zoomed picture from within the editor, I somehow got the layers to be out of sync with each other. When this happened I needed to start over.
A trick that doesn't work is to use Enhance|Adjust Color to change the pupils to red and then use the Auto Red Eye fix. What happens is that the tool does not recognize the color of animal eye irises and the tool changes them into pupils with disturbing results.

Variant configuration is for manufacturing complex products. The manufacturer always has to offer new variants of its products. Often, new variants are created by modifying existing product designs as you process the order. The important thing is to react quickly to customers' requirements.
The customer determines the features of the product. A customer buying a car, for example, can choose the features of the car and combine these features as required.
The product configurator improves information exchange between sales, engineering, and production. Variant configuration helps the customer or salesperson to put together specifications for the product and ensure that the product can be produced from these specifications. It also ensures that production costs do not overstep the mark.
Procedure -
Create a Material - KMAT type with Item category (002)
Create Characteristics in CT04 - Zbike, where in values mention the Color of the bile like Red, Blue etc
Create another characteristics in CT04 - ZPrice, where directly go the additional data tab and maintain the table SDCOM and field VKOND (ABAP Dictionary it will ask for)
Assign these two characteristics to a Class in CL01 - ZBikeclass (Type 300) in characteristics tab page.
Then go to CU41 Configuration profile select the material and enter the description click on the class assignment i.e. assign Zbikclass.
Now go back to CT04 - enter Zbike -go to values- select Red- go to extras - Other Dependencies - Select Procedure enter in front 10 write - $self.ZPrice='Red' and save
Now go back go to extras - Other Dependencies - assignments and assign relationship ( by default it will come just save)
Now select Blue- go to extras - Other Dependencies - Editor - Select Procedure enter in front of 10 write - $self.ZPrice='Blue' and save

Features
You do not need to create a separate material for each variant of a product in your
company. You can use one configurable material to cover all variants. You create a
super BOM and a super routing for this material, containing all the components and
operations for producing all variants of the product.
To define the features of a configurable material, you use characteristics. To
enable you to use characteristics to configure a material, you assign the material
to a class of class type 300. Possible characteristics of a car, for example, are
model, country, color, and engine. The customer can choose from among different
options for each characteristic (values).
The only limitations are combinations of features that are not possible for either
technical or marketing reasons. You cannot combine all types of car engine with all
types of transmission, for example, or certain types of upholstery are only
available for more expensive models. In Variant Configuration, you use dependencies
to control this. This prevents combinations of options that are not allowed.
Dependencies also select exactly the right BOM components and operations to produce
a variant.
Each configurable object must have a configuration profile. The configuration
profile for a material controls the configuration process in the sales order.
You can make the price of a variant dependent on the characteristic values assigned
(Pricing). You can use variant conditions to define surcharges and discounts for a
variant.
For variants that are required frequently, you can create material variants, which
can be produced without a sales order and kept in stock. When you receive a sales
order, you can check whether the variant required is in stock, so that you can
deliver immediately.

Good Movement Data Mismatch - Urgent
Dear Friends,
I have exe. the Init of BX,BF and UM and completed the
Init of BF and UM with probper marker update procedure. But I am facing a strange problem.
I did the init on 31.01.08 with the R/3 sys down time. I have delete the setup tables for inventory and filled the setup table
for BX, BF and UM, and every thing went of smooth. But next day when I got the delta from BF, I have got few documents repeated/duplicate entries which are already exists in my Init.
I am not able to understand how can it happend..when the sys is under downtime and no user was working until we finished the entire process making sure that no document posting happend...!
But it is really strange for me..how come the records are repeated on that particular date ( 31.01.08 ) alone for few docs.
Any sort of inputs/suggestions/procedure to fix this problem would be highly appreciated/rewarded.

How to enable multi-statement replication like select into in SAP Replication server
Hi All,
Currently I am worling on replication of non logged operation using SAP Replication Server.My source and target databases both are Sybase ASE 15.7. I created a normal stored procedure having non logged operation like :
create procedure proc1
as
select * into tab2 from tab1
I have created database replication definition using following command :
create database replication definition def1
with primary at dewdfgwp01694.src
replicate DDL
replicate functions
replicate transactions
replicate tables
and created subscription as well
After marking the procedure using sp_setrepproc proc1,'function', I started the repagent (sp_start_rep_agent src)
But after marking the procedure I am unable to execute the procedure and having the error :
SELECT INTO command not allowed within multi statement transactions
Sybase error code=226
Can anyone please guide me in this situation
FYI : I have executed all three commands in primary database :
sp_dboption src,'select into/bulkcopy/pllsort',true;
sp_dboption src,'ddl in tran',true;
sp_dboption src,'full logging for all',trueI am getting the error in primary database(Sybase ASE console) as well as in repserver .
This error is occurring after the marking of the procedure in the primary database for replicating.
And after getting this error i am unable to replicate any other table or procedure(seems the DSI thread is going down in repserver)

The last reply there may help you avoid using operation level costing, however, I have not been able to find a 100% reliable link between the operations and the costs (meaning DB keys). I have a reliable procedure which won't result in duplicate costs, or otherwise inaccurate cost report, but I have only empirical evidence to prove it - basically I've tested a lot.
In addition, there is a document on SAP tables (I think it's widely spread, I found it googling) which lists some useful PP tables, like PLKO or PLPO, which hold details of operation components. You obtain the necessary keys by looking at BOM for the operation in question. Unfortunately, this didn't work in my case, but it's worth looking into.
I am inclined to believe further link may be achieved using available fields in CO tables, but will need some extra exit development in posting/cost evaluation procedures. I am still looking into this... btw, I'm a tech person, so any functional consultants may feel free to support or reject this theory.

2. If BP replies thru email then the campaign is created manually in the system.

4. For lead generation as communication medium, the survey can be attached as document with the activity generated in the transaction template.

1. To create a telephone campaign, use the channel as telephone,and use workflow send target group to Channel,assign a segment ,when you automate the campaign ,a call list gets generated which is visible using transaction CRMD_TM_CLDIST.

In the Customizing for campaign execution, you have defined a communication medium with a communication method with which no activities are created (for example, e-mail without activities), in other words, no transaction type is maintained. To do this, in the screen Define Communication Methods and Transaction Types leave the field Transaction Type blank.
In transaction SIFC, you have activated the service CRM_SEND_SCREEN, to avoid being prompted again for your password.
You can search for the interaction object by using the locator search in activity management, IC WinClient, IC WebClient, business partner fact sheet, and account management. The interaction object is identified by its own icon.
If there is a questionnaire (survey) assigned to that campaign,you can view it together with teh interaction object or you can independently view it in Tx code CRM_SURVEY_SUITE, using the evaluation button ,which is visible in the toolbar as bar graph symbol.
3. For survey analysis (without BW) prerequisite required is that when making the survey,remember to check mark Evaluation without BW in the mainatin survey attributes buttton available in the toolbar.
4.Questionnaire can be assigned in the channels tab in survey ID field.

Pricing condition/procedure set up for mark up price
Hi All,
I am struggling with a requirement related to MM pricing procedure. Below is the requirement:
When a PO is created of a material, it will have something called as markup price included in the price of that material. Example- If a material price is 100, it will be made up of basic price 90 + mark up price 10 (two different condition types -PB00 and say ZPB0).
Now when GR is posted, inventory a/c should be debited with 100, GRIR clearing a/c should be credited with 90 and GRIR clearing a/c for markup (new a/c) should be credited with 10. In short mark up price should be speared out in a different clearing account just like freight clearing account.
At the time of IR, there should be only one line item showing balance of 100. Note there should not be two line items, one with 90 and other with 10 (just like in case of planned delivery cost).
So, this scenario is very similar to planned delivery cost scenario except client doesn't want to have two line items in IR.
Is there any standard way to achieve this?

If hitting gr / ir is not a requirement and you just need to acrue it, try the following
PB00 to take 100
create 2 conditions one positve and one negative ( accrual, without condition category ) to take the value 10
the + and - will cancel in the inventory account; you can accrue to different accrual accounts
