Pacific Home purchase points missing

Hi, I bought a samsung oven from pacific home over 2 months ago and my points still didn't post although I used my BB credit card. At the time of the purchase, I asked the Pacific Home employee 3 times and he assured me they will be added. I tried to report missing points online but the receipt does not have the codes your website is asking for... Could you please help me add the points to my account? Thank you,Richard

If points for your Pacific Sales purchase have not posted to your My Best Buy™ account, then it is likely one of these reasons:
1.  It has not been a full 35 days since the appliances purchased were delivered
2.  The purchase was applied to a promotional financing offer
3.  Your account was not attached to the purchase while at the store
A purchase made at one of our Pacific Sales or Magnolia stores is considered separate from an everyday Best Buy purchase, so they have invoice numbers rather than a Customer Service Pin numbers.  That basically means those purchases cannot be reported as "missing" on BestBuy.com.  I am going to need some additional information from you before we can move forward, so I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the page.

    Warning to customers buying merchandise at pacific sales inside the best buy store.
    So I bought an appliance at the store, paid with my BBY credit card and at that time (end of April)
    they had that promotion that you get 6% back when you use your card and pay in full.
    Took me a while (although within the 90 day period) to realize that the points did NOT get awarded.
    Wrote an email and got an answer that they are working on it, send another email, still no response, except they put it forward to a specialist and are still working on it.
    Called, got the run around but in the end I was told that the points will be rewarded.
    Long story short, no points, no certificates, no nothing.
    So, back on the phone to be told that PACIFIC SALES purchases don't count, oh wait they do, oh no, they don't, and in the end SORRY but the timeframe has elapsed,
    we can't help.
    Really? Pacific Sales merchandise , even though when paid in full with your credit card, don't count?
    No points, no reward certificate?
    missing $60, and I regret that I didn't use my Capital One, at least I would have earned miles.
    With that (rambling) I am stating that BBY just lost a longterm (over 14 years) loyal customer.
    Cutting up my CreditCard as I type.

    Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and voice your concerns.  I can imagine feeling frustrated if bonus points you feel you should qualify for have yet to post to your My Best Buy account.  If your Pacific Sales purchase did not qualify for the bonus points, then we should have specified that at the time of purchase.  There is no reason why you should have to spend your time emailing us back and forth.
    A purchase made at one of our Pacific Sales stores within a Best Buy store should qualify for base and bonus points, as long as promotional financing was not selected.  It does generally take longer than the standard 20 day time frame for Pacific Sales and Magnolia points to post to a member's My Best Buy account, but it should not take multiple months.  I would expect that if your purchase took place back in April and it qualified for points that points would have posted to your account by now.
    I attempted to review your My Best Buy account using the email address you registered with the forum, but I was unable to do.  With that being said, I will be sending you a private message so that I can go over your account with you and see what I might be able to do to help.  To check your private messages, you would want to first login to the forum and then click on the yellow envelope at the top of the page.

    Have you checked they are still available in the App store.
    Did you purchase them all from the same account.

  • Part of Purchase history missing and ios 5 will not let me add back to ipad

    I have had major issues with lost items following upgrading my iphone 3gs and ipad 1 to ios5 last week. a senior apple advisor has been really good and i got most things back but there is a section of itunes purchased tv programmes refusing to go back onto the ipad, they are in itunes and play perfectly well. we have tried to force them back and just to add those ones and not the others but to no avail, he has told me to contact itunes and request a redownload at no cost as the file may be corrupt, but try as i may although they show in purchased on ipad history there seems to be a huge chunk of purchase history missing between december 2010 and april 2011! and guess where the download falls!! anyone know what to do about this as obviously i cannot report any problems!! one of the episodes was free on the 12 days of christmas promo last year but I purchased the other 3 to complete the season of dr who specials.

  • WLAN access point "missing" when connection alread...

    Hello,
    I have an E63 with version 400.21.013 firmware.  However, I have experienced this problem from day one.  I do not have a data plan but I use WLAN at various locations, and there is a list of access points in the Settings.
    I have a home access point configured with WPA2 and I have all the settings saved in the Connection Manager (or is it WLAN Wizard - I don't know).  When the phone is not connected to any AP and I use a program that wants data, it will almost always show the "Home" AP in the list which appears right after "Searching for available access points" is briefly displayed.  "Home" shows up right below Search for WLAN.  There is no problem making the first connection.
    However, if the "Home" AP is already in use and I open another program that wants data, at times it will not show my Home AP in the list.  If "Searching for available access points" is only displayed for a split second, "Home" will not be in the list.  Sometimes I can close the program and open it again and if "Searching for available access points" stays on screen for about a second, then "Home" will be on the list and I can connect.  Sometimes I will have to try 3, 4, 5 times, and sometimes it will never "see" the AP unless I disconnect the WLAN and start all over.
    Right at this moment, there is no problem.  I can open program after program and connect via my "Home" AP. But it is frustrating when it does happen.  Has anyone seen this or found a remedy?

    Have you tried changing the WLAN channel (i.e. frequency) of your home WLAN access point / router?
    Try switching between few different channels (like 1, 3, 6, 9, 11) to see if some channel happens to work more reliably. It is possible that there is some radio interference (neighbouring WLAN networks, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices etc.) on the currently used WLAN channel, causing phone to discover this network less reliably.
    In case your WLAN access point / router includes 802.11n support, make sure that your AP's "channel width" is set to a standard 20MHz mode (instead 20/40MHz).
    This is a bit long shot suggestion (just guessing), but if switching the WLAN channel related setting on the AP doesn't help then you could also try editing your phone's access point (the one created for you home WLAN network, under Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Access Points) so that your phone should consider this particular WLAN network as an "Hidden SSID" (even if network really isn't hidden) by changing the "Network status" setting from Public to Hidden.

    After I updated Firefox I started having these issues...my Facebook home page is missing the following items: Top Stories, Most recent, App request, Game request and Friends on chat. Also the posts are all outdated, out of order, and they repeat themselves.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

    Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

  • HT1725 I have been trying to purchase points for a slot machine game using my itunes card. It has subtracted all the $$$$ off the card but I never got the points. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Have restarted the ipad and still nothing.

  • Old TV Show Purchases Are Missing From I Tunes Store

    I had bought the 3rd season of The Office on iTunes a while back. They have been since deleted from my iPod, and I have a new computer. I have accessed the iTunes account and the iTunes store even downloaded the last episode that I hadn't downloaded before. However, I cannot find the office episodes so I can re-download them, the search feature comes up with nothing. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what I can do to get those episodes I bought.

    Store policy states that downloads can only be done once. It's the USER'S RESPONSIBILITY to backup important files, so if you have deleted them off your system & your iPod without backing up, I'm afraid you're out of luck. You will probably have to re-purchase the missing episodes.

    My Best Buy MasterCard (((non-Best Buy))) purchases:
    Get 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying dining and grocery purchases.
    Get 1 point for every $2 spent on all other MasterCard purchases.
    Since around fall of 2013, I've had to call a HOUND the phone lines just to get my non-Best Buy purchase points credited. ...
    In the latest SAGA, thier response was 832 points for EIGHT months worth on non Best Buy purchases when I literaly ran THOUSANDS through the card in that time span. ...  Say WHAT ?  They are having me EMAIL pictures of my statements becuase evidenataly they can't download PDF files? In response, I converted PDF to JPG & put a picture of EACH month in a SEPARATE email & sent it back to them, but I've seen another fellow get his issue handled quite qucikly by using this forum.  I have to wait weeks, or days just to get a half hearted email response. 
    Best Buy Social Media...can you help?

    Can we help?  Well, that is a definite YES!  You should not have to spend your valuable time calling into us just to make sure that your points for non-Best Buy MasterCard purchases are added to your My Best Buy™ account, and it is my goal that you will not have to call into us in the future regarding your non-Best Buy MasterCard points, as they should post automatically.  Let me see what I can do to help. 
    After using the email address you registered with the forum to review your My Best Buy™ account, I can see exactly why your non-Best Buy MasterCard points have not been automatically posting.  It looks like you had two accounts merged about this time last year and the merge was not processed correctly, which resulted in the link between your MasterCard and My Best Buy™ accounts to be broken.  We are going to want to make sure they are properly linked so that future points for non-Best Buy MasterCard purchases post automatically.

    I have a few sites that use index.html or index.htm or
    welcome.html or default.htm as the home page.
    But sometimes Dreamweaver says it can't create a site map
    because the home page is missing.
    Is there a simple fix?

    open the dw files panel, and right-click on the desired
    "homepage" file.
    Pick "use as homepage"
    does that fix it?
    If the message "homepage is not in site folder" keeps coming
    up no matter
    what- Are you on a mac?
    Is there a "funky" character in the hd name, your Username,
    or in the folder
    path down to this site folder?

    What account was it downloaded with ? Whether or not an app is free you can only make in-app purchases using the same account that downloaded it. As it is free you could delete it (which will remove your game settings/progress) and re-download it with your own account

  • Songs that I have purchased are missing in iTunes (file not found/exclmation point), and do not show up in the iTunes Store for download.

    I have a laptop that has (or had) pretty much all of my music, both burned from CDs and downloaded from iTunes. My 17 year old son on occasion syncs his iPhone and iPad with this laptop. As of the last sync (as best I can determine), many songs that I purchased in the past few years are now missing, in that they have an exclamation point to the left of the song title, and when I try to play the song, I get an error message that says "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found" or something to that effect. As it turns out, the file seems to be erased. This has happened multiple times, and I could be wrong, but I believe that there are some songs that had the exclmation point last time he synced that now don't, and vice-versa. There is not an obvious correlation or grouping as to why these songs are missing (e.g,. they were not all purchased on the same date, not all songs from one artist are missing, etc.).
    Since most of these songs have been purchased through iTunes through my account, my reaction was to go to the iTunes store, log in with my account, and re-download them. Problem is, all of these songs instead ask me to purchase the song, instead of displaying a "cloud" logo. Therefore, it appears that I have to re-purchase these songs, which does not sound correct.
    Questions: Does anyone know, most importantly (to get an immediate fix):
    1. How can I re-download these songs and why doesn't iTunes Store recognize that I have already purchased them?
    and perhaps as important (more of a long-term question):
    2. Why does this happen and how can I prevent this from happening again (since it has happened multiple times)?

    1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
    2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

  • Missing Magnolia Purchase Points

    Hello - I purchased a Sony 4K Ultra HDTV and a Sony 4K media server on December 31, 2013. The Magnolia sales person said the points would appear in a few days, but there is no record of this purchase.  Delivery was on January 2, 2014.  Total cost on the invoice was $5117.55.  Can you help on this matter?  Note: I also purchased a refrigerator from Pacific Sales on January 3, 2014 and I have already received the reward coupon.

    A purchase made from one of our Magnolia stores will not usually post to a member's My Best Buy™ account in the same manner that a BestBuy.com or Best Buy store purchase will post.  It can take up to 20 days for points from a Best Buy purchase to post and generally 30 days for a Magnolia purchase.  If the points for your Magnolia purchase do not post by 1/30/2014, please send me a private message and I will see what I can do to help.  You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button located within my signature.

  • WebDAV Share Points Missing in OS X Server 10.8

    WebDAV share points are missing in OS X Server 10.8.
    To see for yourself:
    1) Do a clean-install of OS X Server 10.8 with a single admin account and a .local host name.
    2) In Server.app -> File Sharing, enable WebDAV access for the three default share points: /Groups, /Public, /Users.
    3) In Finder -> Go -> Connect to Server -> http://server.local/webdav/ and log-in as the admin account.
    Note that only the admin account's networked Home directory appears. There is no WebDAV access to the enabled share points.
    4) In Finder -> Go -> Connect to Server -> afp://server.local and log-in as the admin account.
    Note that the three default share points appear, along with the networked Home directory. AFP allows access to the enabled share points.
    Any suggestions for a fix, or work-around?

    I agree with Larry Goldman on this 100%. OS X 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 were rock solid when released. Starting with 10.7 it's been Vistaville all the way. Combined with fanboi arrogance, this has been totally frustrating.
    There was a file/directory permissions error in 10.7.0 through 10.7.3, This permissions error caused endless random untracable problems and Apple said NOTHING about it. This wasn't fixed until 10.7.4, and a month later Mountain Lion came out.
    "Don't reopen windows at startup" didn't work until 10.7.4 either - causing no end of headaches and problems, but Apple shipped 10.7 out the door with this glaring bug. Nobody at Apple saw this? Nobody tested this? It took a year for Apple to finally to fix it?!?!
    Lion was a broken piece of **** until 10.7.4, and I cannot imagine all of the user frustration that must have occured as a result of these two problems, but how many other problems wreaked havoc, undetected?!?
    I guess all the seasoned Apple devs went over to iOS, and the beginners are working on OS X. It really shows.
    When I booted Lion and Mountain Lion for the first time, all kinds of buggy weirdness reared its ugly head. Windows not closing, artifacts remaining on screen, preference setting reverting without reason, fields not accepting input, Safari suddenly unable to connect to the internet (even though Chrome worked perfectly at the same time for the same URL), yada yada yada...
    It used to be Microsoft that made their customers find all their OS bugs for them because it was cheaper than writing clean code from the beginning.
    Today, quality control and testing have obviously gone out the window at Apple. They need to spend more of that $100 billion on QA and less on marketing.
