Pacific Sales Purchases inside BBY

Warning to customers buying merchandise at pacific sales inside the best buy store.
So I bought an appliance at the store, paid with my BBY credit card and at that time (end of April)
they had that promotion that you get 6% back when you use your card and pay in full.
Took me a while (although within the 90 day period) to realize that the points did NOT get awarded.
Wrote an email and got an answer that they are working on it, send another email, still no response, except they put it forward to a specialist and are still working on it.
Called, got the run around but in the end I was told that the points will be rewarded.
Long story short, no points, no certificates, no nothing.
So, back on the phone to be told that PACIFIC SALES purchases don't count, oh wait they do, oh no, they don't, and in the end SORRY but the timeframe has elapsed,
we can't help.
Really? Pacific Sales merchandise , even though when paid in full with your credit card, don't count?
No points, no reward certificate?
missing $60, and I regret that I didn't use my Capital One, at least I would have earned miles.
With that (rambling) I am stating that BBY just lost a longterm (over 14 years) loyal customer.
Cutting up my CreditCard as I type.

Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and voice your concerns.  I can imagine feeling frustrated if bonus points you feel you should qualify for have yet to post to your My Best Buy account.  If your Pacific Sales purchase did not qualify for the bonus points, then we should have specified that at the time of purchase.  There is no reason why you should have to spend your time emailing us back and forth.
A purchase made at one of our Pacific Sales stores within a Best Buy store should qualify for base and bonus points, as long as promotional financing was not selected.  It does generally take longer than the standard 20 day time frame for Pacific Sales and Magnolia points to post to a member's My Best Buy account, but it should not take multiple months.  I would expect that if your purchase took place back in April and it qualified for points that points would have posted to your account by now.
I attempted to review your My Best Buy account using the email address you registered with the forum, but I was unable to do.  With that being said, I will be sending you a private message so that I can go over your account with you and see what I might be able to do to help.  To check your private messages, you would want to first login to the forum and then click on the yellow envelope at the top of the page.

    If your My Best Buy account was not attached to your Pacific Sales purchase when it was processed, then points are unlikely to post on their own.  In most cases you should be able to report a purchase as "missing" on BestBuy.com if it was not attached to your account; however, a purchase made from one of our Pacific Sales or Magnolia stores cannot be reported online, which means we may need to see if points can be added a different way.

  • Pacific Home purchase points missing

    Hi, I bought a samsung oven from pacific home over 2 months ago and my points still didn't post although I used my BB credit card. At the time of the purchase, I asked the Pacific Home employee 3 times and he assured me they will be added. I tried to report missing points online but the receipt does not have the codes your website is asking for... Could you please help me add the points to my account? Thank you,Richard

    If points for your Pacific Sales purchase have not posted to your My Best Buy™ account, then it is likely one of these reasons:
    1.  It has not been a full 35 days since the appliances purchased were delivered
    2.  The purchase was applied to a promotional financing offer
    3.  Your account was not attached to the purchase while at the store
    A purchase made at one of our Pacific Sales or Magnolia stores is considered separate from an everyday Best Buy purchase, so they have invoice numbers rather than a Customer Service Pin numbers.  That basically means those purchases cannot be reported as "missing" on BestBuy.com.  I am going to need some additional information from you before we can move forward, so I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the page.

  • Points didn't add to my account for purchase at Pacific Sales

    Hi,
    I purchased washer and dryer at Pacific Sales and gave My Best Buy™ account to the sales asscociate for the purchase order on Feb 27th. But when I checked my rewards balance today, I didn't see that part of points added to my account.  I checked my receipt, there is no Customer Service Pin number on my receipt to add my missing points on Report Missing Points page.  
    Please let me know how I can attach my purchase order to My Best Buy™ account.

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and thank you for posting.
    A purchase made at one of our Pacific Sales or Magnolia stores is considered separate from a Best Buy store purchase, so points will post a bit different.  While it will usually take 20 days for point to post for a qualifying Best Buy store purchase, it may take up to 35 days for points for a qualifying Pacific Sales or Magnolia purchase to post.  That 35 day time frame will also not start until after any scheduled deliveries have been completed.
    A Pacific Sales or Magnolia purchase would need to be reported as "missing" if a member's My Best Buy™ account was not attached to the purchase when it was originally processed in-order for points to post; however, those purchases cannot be reported as "missing" on BestBuy.com like a store purchase because they have an invoice number and not the typical receipt pin number.  That is where I can help, but we would need to wait until after a full 35 days.
    With that all having been said, please do not hesitate to send me a private message if it has been more than 35 since your purchase was delivered and points have still not posted, and I will see what I can do to help attach it to your My Best Buy™ account.  You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button in my signature that is labeled "Private Message."

  • Missing Pacific Sales Points

    We made a purchase of LG Wahser and Dryer on August 17, 2014 with delivery I believe was August 22, 2014. We have yet to receive points for this purchase of about $1200 Sales #5430165

    The points for a qualifying Pacific Sales or Magnolia purchase should post to a member's My Best Buy account 20 to 35 days after delivery has been completed.  If your washer & dryer were delivered on 8/22/2014 and promotional financing was not used, then the points should have posted to your account by 10/10/2014.  I attempted to look over your My Best Buy account, but was unable to do so using the email address you registered with the forum.

  • Centralised Report for Sales/Purchase

    Hi guys,
    One of my client needs a Centralised report for Sales & Purchase for a particular period .
    Like we are mainting multiple taxcodes  like
    BED,eCess,HeCEss,
    VAT 4,VAT 2,VAT12.5,
    VAT10.3,TAXEXEMPTED,ETC...
    So every month they need to know total sales and purchase value in a single report to be displayed respective of each tax code
    lie
    Taxcode 1 = tax Value1,total value
    Taxcode 2 = tax value 2,total value
    Total Sales value = Sum of all tax values, sum of total values
    Total Purchase value = Sum of all tax values, sum of total values
    And  needs Item Wise Sales For Each customer.
    I tried in system defined Sales and Purchase analysis report but our client needs the above type of report..
    Pls give us some solution for this..

  • UK Tax on Sales/Purchases; why open items are shown in S_ALR_87009895?

    Hi,
    I am not used with the Tax on Sales/Purchases UK authorities but as far as I know, only closed (paid) items must be reported in the Tax on Sales/Purchases report.
    I expected that the report S_ALR_87009895 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases  only includes the closed (already paid) invoices and expected also that the report S_P00_07000189 - Add. List for Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purch.: Tax on Open Invoices will show the invoices that has not been paid after six months.
    Unfortunately report S_ALR_87009895 is showing the paid invoices and the unpaid ones.
    Does any body knows if my approach about UK tax reporting is correct and why those reports are not working as I expected?

    You can purchase the custom report from vendors called consultants or employees with developer keys.
    If you input the type as ABAPER, then you have the options and (hopefully) a good quality report.

  • S_ALR_87012357-Advance Return for Tax on Sales&Purchases-additional steps

    Hi SAP Team,
    We have config "Advance Return tax on Sales /Purchases" u2013 S_ALR_87012357 for finance team in Czech Republic (CZ) and the report is working fine and weu2019re using the program RFUMSV00. Now we have an additional issue that need to meet the clientu2019s requirement and the scenario is as below:-
    Local Currency u2013 CZK (Czech Republic Kroun)
    Group Currency u2013 USD
    Hard Currency u2013 EUR
    All the invoice should be process in CZK currency and every month the business user will be receiving EUR based invoice which was converted by the vendor on the daily rate to CZK, the business team will use the conversion rate(EUR-CZK) which was supplied by tax office every month end.
    The issue is the business team need to enter a manual entry using FB41 every month end (e.g. Tax base=0, tax code=I3, tax amount=CZK1,000) to meet the tax office requirement, the problem is if you enter in this way the system will not nett off the input tax to =0 if you ran the program RFUMSV00 and this will cause an imbalance in input tax GL balances.
    My question is:-
    1.     Is there any where in config  we can set this as a automatic process?
    2.     Any other manual step we can worked on to nett off the input tax.. FYI u2013 the output tax is netting off, where else the input tax will nett off if there is no manual posting.

    i am writing a report to download all the delivery data after the delivery is created.i have to download the sales order data & purchase order data relating to this delivery also.
    i am using likp & lips table for delivery.which tables i

    I am facing issues in the standard report S_ALR_87012357 "Advance Return on tax Sales/Purchases" where I am trying to pull the tax posting report for the current period.Here I would like to see the tax postings which are done with the custom t code ZFB01L (mass upload of data) which is the replica of FB01L. The issue here I see is, any postings done via custom t code with tax code does not appear in the standard report t code S_ALR_87012357. Please advice whether is there any alternative transaction code or program where in I can get all tax postings similar to this standard report or do we have to create a custom t code to get such report with the help of ABAPer.

    This report should display all item related to Tax if they posted with tax code . Can you please check below things
    1) your custom program with correct tax code .
    2) When you run report for tax you do not exclude some Tax code .
    3) Please check reporting country in report and check that docuemnt loaded in same reporting country tax code thrugh custmon program ,

    Hi Experts,
    In my recent Implementation Project I realised that there should be provision of capturing and using different default warehouse for Sales,Purchase and Production.
    For example in manufacturing company
    1. Default ware house for Purchase process should be QC ware house for raw material.
    2. Default ware house for Production process should be RM ware house for raw material (components).
    3. Default ware house for Production process should be QC ware house for Finished Good (Parent Item).
    4. Default ware house for Sales process should be FG ware house for Finished Good (Parent Item).
    I hope the idea is clear, I am looking for 3 different set as default warehouse for each item in Item master Inventory tab.
    Internally when a user create a document than default warehouse is to be picked up from this setting !

    Indicator: Exclusive condition access
    Controls whether the system stops searching for a record after the first successful access for a condition type within an access sequence.

    I have configured the basic service tax, Edu.cess and Higher Edu.cess in Taxes on Sales/Purchases as CIN is not implemented. All service tax elements (ST, ECS and SHECS) are defined with different condition types and also assigned the GL accounts to Account keys.
    while posting an entry, three different line items for ST, ECS and SHECS with respective GL accounts should be posted. But one line item for Secondary higher education cess is not posting in document entry.
    This is very urgent issue.
    I will assgin the full points, if I get immediate correct response.
