I downloaded a movie on my iPad but when I go to play it, it's just a black screen. The whole entire movie is just a black screen.

I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close. Test playing the movie after processing these steps.
If the movie still displays a black screen, I would recommend deleting the movie and downloading it again free of charge by accessing your purchases via the iTunes Store.

If you are downloading from iTunes, once the download is complete, you should be able to play it offline. Make sure it did complete. Mopvies are very large files so can take a while to download dependng on your internet connection.
If you are downloading from another service such as Netflix or Amazon it may not have that option.

Did you burn the CD as an audio CD?
If not, that's your problem. Otherwise, without more details I can only guess. You might try a different brand of disk, or if you're using CD-RW try CD-R.

I downloaded a movie and when i was watching it it stopped and the screen went dark and can't go back to the main screen it just plain dark screen

I rented a movie from iTunes and right at the end it stopped playing then after few seconds the screen went dark
And I can not go back to main screen or do any thing it just plain dark as if the movie is stuck on stop mode ?!!

When I hit the play icon the little arrow thing goes all the way over to the end of the file and doesn't play at all. What gives?
Is this a minimum information puzzle? It is difficult to diagnose a problem long distance when you provide little or no information regarding what actions you are actually taking to export the data or which version of iPhoto you are using. Based on your latest description of how it doesn't work, my best guess is that you are exporting a single frame from your video clip rather than the "Original" file. This is easily checked by opening the file in QT and simply pressing the left/right arrow keys. If the file only contains a single frame, then your export work flow is at fault. Please select the "File > Original" (or similar) option in the export menu to export the entire file in whatever version of iPhoto you are using..

When trying to download yosemite it sais that i do not have enough memory. when i look at my memory use it shows that 111.00gb of space is used by movies but when i go th the movie folder it is empty. how can i remove the non existant movies.

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
You will need a minimum of 10-12 GBs of free space to install Yosemite, however, that is a bare minimum and should be at least twice that amount.
