1 Vendor-  Multiple payment types

Good Morning SAP Gurus
My client has a requirement that per Vendor, have multiple payment type such as check, wire and ach.  How do you select how to pay vendor for each type?  What drives this and what in configuration?
For example, they may want to remit to vendor with a check and alternate payee with a wire.
Thank you.

Hi,
In T.Code FBZP, you can define different type of payment methods on company code level
after that those payments type can assign to any vendors
In T.Code : FK02, payment transaction accounting -> Automatic payment transactions -> payment method
You can link different types of payments methods as defined in T.Code OBVU

  • Multiple Payment Types in Sales Order Header Window without Prepayment

    Hi,
I am trying to enter multiple payment types in Sales Order Header window. If I dont enable Prepayment, then its not allowing me to distribute payments across multiple payments.
Is there a way where I can enter multiple payment types in Payments Window of Sales Order-> Actions, and enter multiple payment types and distribute the amount.
While entering sales order, want to enter multiple payment types without enabling prepayment. If its not prepayment, its not allowing me to distribute the amount.
It will be really helpful if someone can reply urgently.

    Hi,
Any help on this will be really appreciated.
I am not able to get any reply from Oracle SR Team as well.

  • Multiple Payment types in F-29 / F-28

    Dear Friends,
I need your inputs on the following scenario:
    1) My client wants to activate multiple payment types in F-29 / F-28
    2) When the customer is making payments to the company he can pay in different payment types like some part in cash and some part through credit card.
Ex : incoming payment is 1000
           Cash - 200
           Credit Card - 800
    3) Please guide me where to customize the above when there is no SD involved.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sivaram

    Hi:
Suppose you have an invoice of 1000 for the customer, what you need to do is , go to F-28, enter all parameters and in the main screen suppose you enter Cash GL , enter amount 200,press enter, select the invoice you want to post this against, and charge off the difference of 800 to the Credit card GL you want tp post in. Please check . I hope this will work for you.

  • FI  F110 payment run multiple payment documents for same vendor l

We have an issue where a F110 automatic payment run creates two payment documents for the same vendor multiple open items in the same run. The payment method for all the open items is the same.  I am not able to identify the logic based on which system bifurcates these open items to create two different payment documents. It is standard SAP functionality and we do not have any additional customization.
I have also checked criteria mentioned in FBZP Payment method in company code Payment per due day but does not seem to be relevant. If you have any pointers in this context request you to share the same at the earliest.

    Hello,
In FBZP we have below setting for grouping of items in company code payment method.
1.Single payment for marked line item: Single payment will be created for every line item if this check box is selected.
2.Payment per due day: One payment document is created for all the invoices which are due on specific due date.
Please check if any of above option is selected here.
We have also control at vendor master:
Vendor master data > Company code > Payment data > Automatic payment transactions > individual payment.
If check box is selected then every vendor or customer item is paid separately during automatic payment transactions.
    Thanks!

  • F110 Payment Proposal multiple payment lines for same vendor

    Hello,
Question for the FI community regarding single payments for multiple invoices for the same vendor. Is there any other place that would dictate the grouping (or non grouping) of multiple payment proposal lines for same vendor payment?
I understand that there are two places:
FBZP - Change view 'Maintenance of Company Code Data for a Payment Method", the flag for 'Single payment for marked item'
Vendor Master - Automatic payment transactions, flag for 'Individual pmnt'
Is there anywhere else where this may be dictated? At my location, we have two company codes that make ACH payments, settings for FBZP (Single payment for marked item flag) and selected vendor for payment in the vendor master is identical. I get different results when viewing the payment proposal for each company code. Company Code A parses out individual line items for payment in the proposal, and Company Code B does not. When I change the flag via FBZP for Company Code A, this resolves the issue. When I make the same change for Company Code B, there is no change.
In all of my testing, I have left the 'Individual pmnt' flag for both vendor masters unchecked.
I'm hoping that somebody in the community here would be able to point me in the right direction to understand why I am getting differences. Is there somewhere else that I can check?
    Thanks everyone.

    Ravi,
Thanks for your reply, however in my post I already mentioned I have tested out both options via FBZP as well as the vendor master. You are correct, in only one case regarding my situation.
In my example for Company Code B, I have the following scenarios:
    1. FBZP - single payment for marked item checked, Vendor individual payment option not checked, result is a single payment item for multiple invoices
    2. FBZP - single payment for marked item checked, Vendor individual payment option is checked, result is multiple payment items for each invoice
    3. FBZP - single payment for marked item not checked, Vendor individual payment option not checked, result is a single payment item for multiple invoices
    4. FBZP - single payment for marked item not checked, Vendor individual payment option is checked, result is a multiple payment items for each invoice
Are you saying that the option in FBZP simply enables the grouping/non grouping based on what the vendor master record payment option is? Typically, that option for vendors is not checked in either of our company codes, therefore if the only difference is the setting in FBZP, then why would I be getting only a single payment for multiple invoices in the case of scenario 1 listed above?
That's why I am wondering if perhaps there is something elsewhere than FBZP and vendor master settings that could be affecting this.
    Comments please?

  • Vendor payment with multiple payment references

How do you allocate multiple payment references per line item for a specific a vendor EG a Municipality in a specific region.
Currently we are issuing cheques because we cannot allocate multiple payment references if we create an EFT payment. EG: We create a cheque payment for every factory's utility account because we have more than one factory in a municipality region and each factory has to pay it's own property levies. But that maybe come a problem as of mid July 2012 any cheque issued in SA the value may not be greater than R500 000.00 and most of the utility accounts for our factories far exceeds R500 000.
Therefore we a looking at how to address this problem payment program in SAP.

i understand your question but what i dont understand is your requirement!!!
Do you want to have multiple payment terms on your vendor ?
and while invoicing, you want to choose based on the amount of the invoice.

  • Vendor wise payment report

    Dear Experts,
I need to have a report that shows all the details of vendor wise payment reports is there any specific transaction codes to resolve this issue
    Regards,
    Ramakrishnan. S

    Hi
The simplest I Could think of is FBL1N itself with cleared Items. You can always subtotal on Vendor No and Payment Document type. There are other std reports like S_ALR_87012085, S_P99_41000099. It also depends on what kind of information you want from the payment report

  • Vendor down payment request over PO value

    Hi All,
I have a requirement for vendor down payment request amount compare to PO value checking.
I have PO with total value - 600 USD.
When I create down payment request using F-47, I input amount 1000 USD.
The system never show me any message.
I want the SAP to block me from posting down payment request over PO value.
I've read in the forum, to change message type F5373 with error type. But the message never appear in my F-47 screen.
Anyone can help me, what am I missing here ?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
You are right about message F5 373. But this is applicable at the time of the Payment of the Advance i.e. F-48. It is not available at the time of creating the Advance Payment Request against T Code F-47.
If you want to have this control in the Payment Request, then you will have to use the validation, which you can put with the help of your abaper.
    Regards,
    Amit

  • F-48 (post vendor down payment:header data)

    Hi Experts,
    Good Evening to you,
when i was posting F-48 (post vendor down payment:header data) i was getting an error of No Special G/L acct defined for acct type K sp. G/L ind B recon.acct so at that time i went to OBYR and given in Acct type-K SGL Ind-B in that given Recon account and Special GL Account both the numbers but still the erroring is coming. Later i went to FS00 and checked in Control Data that the GL Account the reconciliation account-vendor is already given but still the error is coming.
So if anybody faced the same error means let me know.
Awaiting for your golden replies & points will be assign for useful answers.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    KK

    Hi Rams,
The problem of "No Special G/L acct defined for acct type K ....." has been rectified when i specify the Special GL A/c in OBYR.
Now the issue is i gave a wrong Sp GL account in OBYR and posted a document later i recongnise that i gave wrong SP GL and went back to OBYR and gave the correct SP GL A/c number. So there was a posting has done earlier 1 document so can you tellme how to change from Old Sp GL  to New Sp GL.
    Awaiting for your golden reply.
    thanks & best regards,

  • Vendor Down Payment Request on WBS (F-47)

    Dear Fellows:
I have came across a problem that while creating a Vendor Down Payment request (T.code: F-47) on WBS, my system is not stoping me over budget exhaust. I have Budget of 100  and i create request for 101, system allows it and post the document.
Vice Versa if i create a Vendor Down Payment request over Commitment iten, then system check the budget and generates message.
any good solution to it would highly be appreciable.
    Regards.

    Hi,
The budget availability check is done only against the assigned values and
Following entried does not contribute to the Assigned value
        V: Value type not relevant (<> Act./Plan/Stat.Act./Stat.Plan/Commt)
        D: Delivery
S: Settlement to object with no budget control
        R: Revenue cost element
C: Cost element is exempt cost element
M: Minimum from actual + commitment and plan per order value update
P: Plan value is not on apportioned order / network
        B: Plan Costing Single Position
        S: Funds Commitment in Balance
So the down payment is not covered for the calculation of the assigned value.
Hence no check is carried out for the Availability check.
    hope its useful.
    Reward points if useful.
    Thanks..

  • Invoice Verification process with multiple payments

Please advise us on the Invoice Verification process in case of multiple payments required  for single Quantity Purchase Order Lines. [ i.e. If the quantity of Purchase is 1 and we need to process  multiple invoices involving partial amount of the PO value, we end up in decimal errors in many cases. ]
For e.g. we had a case were the Total PO amount was 7638, against quantity 1. A partial invoice was raised for amount  7545. We were unable to determine the exact quantity in the invoice document to derive the said amount. This was due to the limitation in the quantity field which is only supporting 3 decimals. Subsequent to this, we need to round off and also this caused problems in the next payment lot. The issue becomes more complicated when there is header discount , freight etc. specified in the PO  Header Conditions.
This resulted in the discrepancy between Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt Amounts for such POs.
Please throw us some light to tackle this issue as per the best practices available in SAP.
Also in this relation, Is it possible to enforce Quantity Tolerance in PO.

    HI,
What you can do to over come such problem, is Put the Value Figure in Quantity field & Quantity in Net price field,
As the Qty is 1, The total Amount paid to vendor will be same & no Need of calculating decimal.
While making GRN, Put the actual Invoice value as qty.
    Hope this serves the purpose.
    Regards

  • Error in profit center determination for settled vendor down payments

    Hello All,
When we try to settle vendor down payments an error is detected for the profit center determination .
The settled down payment is found on the dummy profit center instead of the profit center of the original invoice. This means that the reporting of oustanding payables per profit center is wrong
When you only see the invoice and not the settled down payment which should reduce you outstanding debt (down payment already paid).
Can any one help in this matter
    Regards
    Arun

    Hi,
Check the document splitting configuration. Advances to vendors recon.. account should be assigned as category 'Vendor 'special gl transaction''.
Check the document type 'KA' transaction as '0300'... or unspecified posting.

  • Clear Vendor Down Payment F-54, Number range

    Hi Experts
I tried to clear the vendor down payment using the T-Code; F-54, It is displaying a error message as "Number Range 17 is Missing for the year 2010"
    Message no. F5150
    Diagnosis
The document type you specified has been allocated to a number range in fiscal year "2010" that has not been created.
    - Should we need to create a New Number range for this document type.
    -  Is this a New requirement in ECC 6.0?
    - Is this linked to the New GL feature?
    Please share your views.
    With Regards
    Siva

    Hi,
The document type you are using is referring to number range maintained with the id 17. You need to go to FBN1 transaction code and maintain a number range for id 17 for the year 2010.
Normally the accounting document number ranges are maintained year specific so that every new fiscal year will restart at 1 and not continue from last year.
As corrected by Ramnuja, you need to maintain number ranges for entry view and general ledger view (new GL feature).
For you the number range 17 has not been maintianed for 2010 and you need to maintain it.
    hope this helps.
    thanks and regards,
