2 step picking-can allocation TO be created for partial pick TO?

Dear experts,
For 2 step picking, let's say that I have 2 items in the pick TO which belong to different materials. I confirm only 1 out of the 2 items. Can I then proceed to create the allocation TO just for the 1 item which I confirmed or is it a must for me to perform full picking for all the materials in the pick TO before I can create the allocation TO?

    Actually we have made a setup that whenever we create a Goods Issue for STO type (UB - PO ) in the supplying plant we are creating the GR in the background . WE have made the configuration in SAP R/3 version 4.6c with One STEP Movment, that is when we create the GI (351 ) movment then GR (101) should be created automatically. Actually its not working properly. And sometimes it creates the GR with the USer as WF-BATCH.
    Let me know where exactly I need to check for the failure.
    In such cases if there is error in the background process, means, is there any transaction where it shwos the authorization or other failures happened to the system.

    you can only create a url at the calendar level, i.e. when you publish a calendar to either .mac or a webdav compliant server. you cannot create a url at the to do level in ical

    You must setup a machine with Linux and install LabVIEW for Linux on this machine.
    If you haven't used any Windows technics you can copy the VIs from the Windows machine to the Linux machine, open LabVIEW on the Linux machine and create the application.
    There is no setting on any platform of LabVIEW to generate applications and/or installers for other platforms.

  • Can global commands be created for Anchored Frames?

    I am migrating a rather large documentation suite from one FM template to another. One of the changes is larger anchored frames (95%  are sized the same). Since there are numerous graphics per document (100+) one of the rather monotonous tasks involves resizing all the frames (and associated pictures). I can batch process all the graphics in Photoshop, but can't see a way around having to manually resize each anchored frame after I import the old content into the new template. Since each object has an "object type" associated with it, wouldn't it be possible to make a global change to the properties of a selected object type?
    This may just be a wishful thinking, but before I accept having to enter the same numbers in the anchored frame properties a buzzilion times, I thought I would throw this puzzle out into the forumsphere.

    Several possibilities include:
    1. Bruce foster's Impgraph plug-in: http://home.comcast.net/~bruce.foster/ImpGraph.htm
    2. A custom Framescript
    3. In the MIF version of the FM file, use a text editor to adjust the Frames <ShapeRect L T W H> parameter.
    4. Do nothing, i.e. delete the current anchored frame an import the new graphic in the same location, FM automatically sizes the Aframe to be 1 pt larger than the imported graphic (see also #1 - Impgraph).

    im not sure how to calibrate since i just learned that i have to do it to ensure battery life but im gonna use all the power in the afternoon and at night i will let it sleep but i dont want to wake up to charge it if it can only sleep for 5 hours.

    Calibration isn't necessary in modern Macs with built in batteries.  That process didn't calibrate the battery, it calibrated the circuits that monitor the battery.

  • Component pick release for partial quantity

    Hi All,
    For R12 environment , customer needs move order to be created for partial quantity using component pick release.
    As far as I know component pick release cannot be done for partial pick release and only possible when onhand qty is not available.
    Can any one pleas elet us know if we can have any alternate solution or easy customization so that client can edit the quantities before going to move order creation?

    when the move order is created..update the allocation and then perform transact move order
    ex if for 10 qty move order is created..but if u wish to issue 5 qty to the job..then update the allocation..for the remaining u can just backorder the move order

  • 2 step picking - Allocation step - Order of TO generated

    Hi,
    We have just turned ON 2 step picking to optimize the picking process at  our warehouse. We are facing an issue in the allocation step of the 2  step process w.r.t the order in which the TO's are being generated. We  are creating single TO for each article of the delivery. When the TO are  generated they are in the order as below
    TO 1 - Article 1 - Site 1
    TO 2 - Article 2 - Site 1
    TO 3 - Article 3 - Site 1
    TO 4 - Article 4 - Site 1
    TO5 - Article 4 - Site 1
    TO 6 - Article 1 - Site 2
    TO 7 - Article 2 - Site 2
    TO 8 - Article 3 - Site 2
    TO 9 - Article 4 - Site
    2 TO 10- Article 4 - Site 2
    TO 11- Article 1 - Site 3
    TO 12- Article 2 - Site 3 etc.
    This is not the desirable result. We want the transfer order to be  generated in the order of all article 1 first for all sites, then  article 2 etc in the below order.
    TO 1 - Article 1 - Site 1
    TO 2 - Article 1 - Site 2
    TO 3 - Article 1 - Site 3
    TO 4 - Article 2 - Site 1
    TO 5 - Article 2 - Site 2
    TO 6 - Article 2 - Site 3

    3 etc.
    I have tried various options in the sort profile but this is yielding  the desirable effect. Also each site has its own delivery number.

    I am unable to understand the issue which you mentioned. Could you please provide the steps detail along with the T-Code and at which step you are expecting system to give the result as mentioned above

  • Two step picking modification

    Hi all,
    Three simple questions on two step picking:
    1) When I delete a pick TO inthe first step of two step picking process the status of pick step on the group still reamains completed and I cannot create pick TO again. How to sort out this?
    2) If the pick TO is not created yet I'd like to add another TR to the group. But I didn't find a change group transactions. Once the group  is created, it looks like no modification is possible but editing two step relevance on some group's item. How it is expected to do this?
    3) How to set a storage type not relevant for two step picking? I've seen that only materials can be set as relevants for two step picking.

    Let me explain how two step picking works
    Within the 2-step picking process the first step can be repeated many
    times because changes of the assigned deliveries may occur or the
    requested quantities are not completely available the first time but
    the 2nd step the actual picking is done once and marks the completion
    of the process. This cannot be repeated for the reference number. If
    there are individual delivery changes the TO can be created using LT03
    but the multiple processing is no longer possible.
    TO confirmation takes place only when the stock is completely moved.
    It would not make sense to confirm the movement and then to the
    allocation step. The two-step picking process is
    1. Pick step (Where stock is picked from the source bin)
    2. Allocation step (Where stock is allocated in the destination bin)
    3. Confirmation (Where the picker confirms that the movement has been
    completed)
    You either carry out the first two steps seperately (2 -step picking)
    or at the same time. Either way, the confirmation always takes place
    last. Hope the above helps to clarify.

  • Warehouse RF and 2 step picking

    Hi Guys,
    I have set up wm mobile in ecc 6.0 and also have 2 step TO's working manually but can't get them to work with a scanner.
    I have one storage type one side of the road and one the other but they all form part of the same warehouse in SAP. They move items between them using mvmt type 919 (replenishment) and i want them to pick in one store and confirm in the other by a different person
    Is this possible or is 2 step picking not what i think it is?

    As I understand (e.g.):
    - source storage type: productA 10 pc, productB 20 pcs, productC 30 pc
    - intermediate storage type: SU1 (productA 2 pc, productB 17 pcs, productC 10 pc), SU2 (productA 8 pc, productB 3 pcs, productC 20 pc)
    - destination storage type: bin1: productA 2 pc, productB 17 pcs, productC 10 pc, bin2: productA 8 pc, productB 3 pcs, productC 20 pc
    Please notice that SAP determines the to be removed quantities (~corresponding to SU1 & SU2 but not as SUs) when you remove the goods from the intermediate storage type ("allocation") and not when you place the goods into it.
    Please also notice that automatically you cannot create storage units (palletize) with different products on it (I'm not sure this is requirement in your case or not).

  • WM Replenishment and 2-step picking with storage units.

    Dear Colleagues,
    I am attempting to use SAP standard fixed bin replenishment and implement it as a 2-step picking process. Generally, the process goes as follows:
    - Generate replenishment pick tasks
    - Place the picked products onto storage units in an intermediate storage type
    - Put the products away from storage units into the respective fixed bins
    I have setup the necessary parameters to get standard replenishment to work. I can run LP21 and generate all TR's, and subsequently TO's. The product moves from respective reserve bins into the fixed bins based on strategies that I have setup.
    The issue i am experiencing is when I try to introduce the intermediate storage type to place the product into, before it goes into the fixed bins. Additionally, the intermediate storage type needs to have SUM enabled, so that the product gets placed onto pallets. This way, the warehouse personnel will be able to track the physical product movements before it is put away.
    Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  • 2 step picking

    I have created number of Outbound delivery and also created a group number for them in tcode Vl060 via WM reference
    But after the group step I am not aware of further tcode to complete process ...kind of missing the sequence of steps to complete 2 step picking
    however I have given a try with tcode LX39 now here i get 2 option
    a) picking
    b) allocation
    can you please suggest which one should i select first ....i did give a try to both of them but i get error that storage type 007 (pallet one) does not allow negative stock......i am wondering why this message comes since 200 is the storage type where the negative quant should be created ...anyways you guys can guide me thru.

    Please check you have enough stock in 007 if the storage type is not allowed the negative stock.
    2-step pick follow the below process:
    1.The total quantities of materials needed are picked in the first step. Therefore, the removal for the individual requirements (deliveries and transfer requirements) is optimized in the warehouse. Since you can pick full storage units or larger quantities of materials from the storage bins,the total number of picks required is reduced.
    2.Two-step picking makes it possible for you to optimize the stock removal by using a picking strategy that is based on quantity (strategy M).
    3.Since removal and allocation are completely separate steps, you can also confirm them separately.
    4.You can monitor each step of the 2-step picking process at any time in detail.

    My understanding of the 2 step picking process is as follows ...Please validate if this can still be lean in terms of nos steps that need to be performed...
    1. Create Wave Pick VL35 / VG01   create group  / create from VL06O by selecting all the deliveries
        LT72 --Determine 2-step relevance
        LT73 --Display 2-step relevance
        LX39 --2-step picking monitor
        VL37 --- wave monitor ---Hit Picking progress for to it
    *Removal part*
    2. LT0E  -- Creating removal TO with MvTyp 850
          One Removal TO  created
          Now check TO with LT21 ....notably Dest Storage typ 200
          Now again check LX39  ---drill-down the tree structure of the Pick Section ....TO created ...not yet confirmed
                                       --- Allocation section --procedure not yet started
    3. Now do LT12 ---for confirming the TO upon the physical PICK
           Then check LX39  ---Pick section is all green
    Allocation Part
    How to identify & assign which item in the 200 stg typ area belong to which Delivery...Plz enlighten
    4. Now do LT42  for the group 20000***** --Start Multi Processing to create equal nos of  TO for each deliveries in the group
        Confirm those TOs
        Have a look at LX39 again ---Allocate section will be Green

    What are the two choices to carry out the second step ??
    Choice 1.... You can start the multiple processing function to create transfer orders for the group and move them all at once using multiple processing to the appropriate goods issue area.
    (TransOrder ® 2-step picking ® Allocation/Direct picking ® Start group)
    Choice 2....  When you release the group, (TransOrder ® 2-step picking ® Allocation/Direct picking ® Release / Print) you can select Allocation or Direct separately in a dialog box to move the materials for the second step. You can also print from this option.
    Can anybody explain these 2 Chioces please ?

  • Report for field sammg and refnr in two step picking

    Hello Experts,
    I have configure two step picking which is working fine.
    But my concern is when I create a group from deliveries using VL06P, an five digit number (23717) is generated. But while putting same group number in LT72 screen for analysis or doing LT0E, I am getting en error that "this group number is not existing in system.
    Then I have to go to SE16 and search in table T311. Then I found that there are two group number in this table which technical name are REFNR and SAMMG. So I have to pass 23717 in SAMMG field and note down the number (17) from REFNR field and process with REFNR number.
    So is there any report whether I can get the same (when I pass SAMMG number I will get REFNR number) because my business user don't have access to SE16 again it is not acceptable to business.
    Or is there anyway by which I can assign same number to both SAMMG and REFNR, so that my client will refer only one number in stead of two number.
    I am hereby attaching one test data. Kindly go through it and revert to me with your analysis.

    as an standard SAP you should be able to process the group number(23717) it seems there is some other setting / customization or you are following any additional steps in your system which generates the another number in Group (REFNR) field of T311 as in my case i am getting the same number in both the Group field

    You can auto populate your InfoPath farm with current user Name and all other property that you have in your User profile, you have couple of options.
    First you can make a secondary connection in your InfoPath form with user profile and can use the UserProfileService.asmx and call the GetUserProfileByName method. Here is the steps you can follow.
