2LIS_03_UM setup

Dear Gurus,
I have already setup the tables for 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF, uploaded them in the cube 0IC_C03 and compressed suitably.
For filling the setup table for 2LIS_03_UM, when I execute OLIZBW, company code is mandatory. As I have 6 companies, I gave * for company code but no records get picked up.
If I decide to do 2LIS_03_UM setup 6 times for 6 companies, do I have to make the table MC03UM0SETUP blank 6 times? Do I have to do INITupload in the cube 6 times and then DELTA also 6 times?
If I do "deletion of setup data" (Tx LBWG) 6 times, will it have any side effect on the 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF which have already been setup and uploaded in the cube.

Iam filling the setup tables for 2LIS_03_UM for one company code. And when iam checking the setup tables after that ,iam not able to find any rows in it.
I checked RSA3 also. No data...Please suggest what to do.
I have already loaded 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF into cube and compressed them as per the setting required.Now iam trying to load 2LIS_03_UM also..

Hi, Guru, I am facing a very strange issue here. When I am in R3 trying to fill the setup table for 2LIS_03_UM, it requires that a value in company code to be provided. We have more than 100 company codes, I really don't want to run setup table by company code 100 times. Here is the error msg if I don't provide a value for the company code. I tried with '*' and hope that it will include all values but that didn't work.

No, the company code is a single value selection. I can put ranges for document number, fiscal year or posting date but not company code.
I am not able to post a screen shot but here is the basic layout of the screen. you can see that there is no "to" for the company code below and it is required which is the issue I think. The other fields are all optional.

2lis_03_um setup tables issue

Hi experts,
we have taken downtime to fill the setup tables for inventory.
MCNB - 2lis_03_bx
OLI1BW - 2lis_03_bf
OLIZBW - 2lis_03_um
we have the company codes 1100,1200,1300,2000,2800 at the moment in ECC.
but we will have more company codes coming up in next 2 months.
here my doubt is if we fill the setup tables for the above company codes for material revaluation (OLIZBW), do we need to take downtime again to fill for the upcoming company codes??
OR if u know the upcoming company codes then we can fill the setup tables for those company codes also, even there is no data once the new company codes starts the deltas will be coming into BW, instead of taking downtime again and fill the setup tables for the new company codes?
Please clarify these issues.

Filling setup table wouldn't be required for the upcoming company codes..
Since delta captures new and changed records, the new records for the upcoming company codes will be captured in the delta loads, hence there is no need to fill up setup tables again for the upcoming company codes.
The only thing you have to do this either dont give any selection for company code during initialization or include the upcoming company codes also in the selection if required during initialization.

Dear all
I am currently working on stock, for that data sources BX, Bf are successfully loaded into the cube 0IC_C03 . but i now am trying ti fill the setup tables for UM data source it is throwing error "fill in all required fields".
I have given "name of run, termination date and time, and selected rerun check box". Please some one help me if i miss anything?
Pl confirm is it mandatory to give "document data restriction " like company code, year ....?

Hi Bhaskar,
For any screen where you see below (yellow)highlighted tick mark then it is a mandatory field on the SAP screen and you have to provide a input criteria.
So in case of UM datasource you have to provide company code for setup tables.

Error when running setup table for 2LIS_03_UM

Hi experts,
When running the setup table for 2LIS_03_UM, we got the error message "Plant FP01 does not exist." Any suggestions on how we can fix this?

check if this plant has been maintained in source system or not. If not, ask the concerned team to maintain it.
Another way may be to allow error records which should ignore errornous records and rest should be filled in setup table.

Why the duration for performing setup(2LIS_03_UM) is too long?

Hello Expert,
I am loading the 03 setup table now.
For the 2LIS_03_BF, the duration is about 40 minutes and the data record in MC03BF0SETUP is about 15000.
However, for the 2LIS_03_UM, it has run for about 1.5 hours and the data record in MC03UM0SETUP is only 580. Now the thread is still running.
Do anyone know why?
BTW, I have run the setup for UM twice yesterday. Because the permitted time for the user is used up, the operation was terminated.

Hi......
Dont' delete entries of Delta Queue.
When you do the next delta, the previous to previous request's delta records meant for repeatition are automatically deleted i.e confirmed.
The delta entries are stored in delta q inspite of deltas being pulled in Bw, just in case if delta repeatition is needed.
Also when you carry out a repeatition request for delta in Bw for the same delta(in case of failures etc), these get pulled in BW.
Also don't delete queue in SMQ1......Deleting entries in the queue (be it outbound or inbound) is not a good idea. This will either lead to data loss or data inconsistency.
As per my knowledge ..........I don't think we need to delete it...

Problems with filling of Setup table for 2LIS_03_UM

I am not able to fill up this table. I mean its not getting filled thorugh TCode OLIZBW.
Setup table for 2LIS_03_BF is getting filled up though.
Can anyone foresee what can be the reason.

Nope I am not. But the problem I have posted in my last note that i was getting -ve stock values which was resolved when i loaded the data with infosource 2LIS_03_UM in development. when I am testing it in QA I am not getting dat in this extractor.
I had a chat with MM Functional Consultant , he said I probably wont get this data.
Now I am not sure how will I be able to resolve the problem.

2LIS_03_UM - FULL LOAD VIA SETUP TABLE NOT EQUAL TO DELTA

I try to load stock data with 2LIS_03_UM.
When I extract data using setup table and full load I don't get the same records as I get with delta load. Although the key figures values are the same, the documents numbers are different. Most documents from delta load are ML (material ledger) documents while documents from full load (via setup table) are mainly FI documents.
What can be the reason? How can I fix it?

Hi,
Delta load extracts data from Delta Queue based on your update mode selected in LBWE.
Full Load or Init load extracts data from Setup tables, here if you are extracting data from setup tables ? did you fill the setup tables now or not after deleting the existing data of the setup tables?
are you getting same values when compare to R/3 and BW data for some document numbers?

its asking Archiving Run . i am trying to give or f4 its not allowing me?

G/L Account is Blank in 2LIS_03_UM

Dear ALL,
Good Morning,
Datasource 2LIS_03_UM is not populating the G/L Account (SAKTO). Even when I fill the setup table, the field SAKTO is blank.
Could anyone suggest me from which table this field will be populated because we have requirement to get the G/L Account from BSEG table against the document no.
Is there any way to get the data other than the datasource enhancement.

Hi,
Make use of table - "T030" where you can get the GL accounts based on Valuation class.
From UM datasource, you would be getting Material & Valuation class..
In material master, Valuation class is maintained for each material. Valuation class & GL account combination is maintained in "T030".
By this you can link up the GL accounts with revaluation data at BW side as well.

I want to fill setup table for BX via tcode MCNB (in R/3).
Can I start with the setup table for BF using tcode OLI1BW parallel or I have to wait till the job RMCBINIT_BW (tcode MCNB)
is finished!
Same question for UM: Can I start the setup table for UM (tcode OLIZBW) parallel with the job RMCBNEUA (tcode OLI1BW)
or I have to wait till the job RMCBNEUA is finished!
Is there any possibilty to enter more company codes for the setup table for UM (tcode OLIZBW) as we have 120 company codes
Or I have to plan the job for each company code separtely.
Moreover I will load data (first opening balance, movement, revalaution) into BW when the setup tables are filled on R/3 side.
Is it ok?

2LIS_03_UM Datasource Material belonging to Stock Category 'E' Issue.

We wanted to use 2LIS_03_UM Datasource for Sales order Stock Valuation as we want these valuations in Daily level at sales order item level . But we are having a problem in Extracting Materials with Stock Category(BSTTYP) 'E'. I have selected fileds LBWE MBLNR, KDAUF, KDPOS from LBWE pool and brought them to the Extractor . After filling the setup table in OLIZBW with the Company code and posting date. In RSA 3 i am getting data for the company code and posting date. But the Fields BSTAUS and BSTTYP with values 'V" or null. I just came across in one of the forums we have to do some config in
include LMCB1F20 (routine STA_VERAENDERUNG).
And joins on tables MSEG, T156C, T156M
cosidering fields ->
BUSTM, ZUSTD, CNT02, LBBSA, SOBKZ
Can i have some more details on how to do this in R/3.

Hi Arun,
Valuated Stock with unrestricted use is a Non - Cumulative key figure and you dont have to add this field to this data source or for that matter to any data source. You can simply include this info object directly in the Inventory Cube and write the Update routine accordingly.
Before writing the routine you must ask your finctional guys to provide you with the classification of the material movements. I mean are there any Z Movements for this key figure? What are the process keys for this? etc...
This will help you in writing the routine for this key figure.

2lis_03_bf and 2lis_03_um Reinitialization precautions?

My client is Using 0IC_C03 Inventory Cube since December 2009. they have generated Opening balance at that time and initialized the 2lis_03_bf and 2lis_03_um data sources and doing deltas.
but the problem is that they have deleted the Init requests from the Target cube and they wanted to analyze the data from Day 1 which is December 2009. so client wanted to delete the complete data from cube and reinitialization has to be done.
My questions are
1          is do i need to Generate the Opening Balance again for 2lis_03_bx??? or not required? if required what are the Selection Criteria i have give while filling setup tables in MCNB TCODE.
2          2lis_03_bf reinitialization Steps like i will extract the Initialize with Data transfer, what are the steps i need to perform after DTP Extraction into 0IC_C03 cube? tell me exactly how to take care of Marker Update.
3         2lis_03_UM reinitialization Steps like i will extract the Initialize with Data transfer, what are the steps i need to perform after DTP Extraction into 0IC_C03 cube?

2lis_03_bx - ECC SIDE - Do we need to select the Transfer Structure (2lis_03_bx) as well in MCNB and which Radio Buttons i have to select (only valuated stocks, All Stocks (Including non_valut), and what about Zero stock to be transferred do i need to select ?), and what about Time of termination how much i have to give??

BW SIDE - Client has generated the Opening Balance, but when i look at the PSA Data it shows that no Data, but requests are

2lis_03_um can not be filled

Hi, gurus here.
I am filling the setup table of 2lis_03_um in AIME ECC PRD. I've finished the filling job of 2LIS_03_BF and it's OK.
But the filling job of 2lis_03_um can not be started, I checked it in SM50, nothing happened.
The info of status is either "Background job was sheduled for program RMCBNERP" or "DataSource 2LIS_03_UM contains data still to be transferred", the results are same, nothing happened.
I've checked in SM13, no error data in it.
No delta queue in RSA7.
What's wrong?

Have you used tcode OLIZBW to fill the setup tables?
