 I have a generic brand Android tablet. The associate at the store kept saying that this model number was not in the system and couldn't be accepted for a trade-in. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me the same thing. Afterwards, I called corporate customer service and received the same response for a third time. All the while, I reminded them of the words "any working tablet" and "guaranted minimum", with no success. I don't know why so many people are having this problem.
Looks like BB is losing another customer.

However, I do regret hearing that you were unable to take advantage of this promotion, even after speaking with multiple associates. Furthermore, I sincerely apologize for the experience you had at our West Patterson location, especially if you were turned away when you may have otherwise been eligible for the promotion.
Per the terms of the promotion, seen here, as long as your tablet powers on, does not have a cracked screen or water damage, and isn’t a Barnes and Noble Nook based e-reader, your tablet should be eligible for the $50 Best Buy gift card.
If your tablet meets these requirements, I suggest returning to the store and having them take another look at this as today is the last day of the promotion. Please consult further leadership if you run into any issues and they should be able to assist.

    I am having the same problem here in Brockton, Massachusetts. Yesterday morning I brought in an RCA tablet and was told that it is not on their list. I sat in my car and called Corporate and the representative called the store. She said that she was told the same thing by the store Manager however she knows there is a way to do it. She took my tel number and found my information she said she would be sending out some emails and then she would call me back. Still waiting on a solution though and that is fine. She seemed confident. It is unfair that we waste our time and gas money and get turned away when the ad clearly states any tablet except Nook or ereaders.

    With new tablets coming out, we know people need an environmentally responsible way to dispose of their older model devices.  It’s one reason why many people are taking full advantage of our current Kindle Fire HD promotion. I have an older Kindle Fire model myself, and this offer has certainly made me think about trading it in for a shiny new one! It’s regrettable to hear that you've run into multiple snags when trying to recycle your current tablet, and I truly apologize for any frustration you endured while trying to resolve this on your own.
    As long as your tablet meets the minimum requirements of the promotion, then it doesn't matter whether or not the model is immediately recognized by our trade-in database.  There is a process in place to ensure customers are still able to receive the offer. Those minimum requirements are:
    -          The device must be able to power on
    -          Must have a valid serial number
    -          Cannot have a cracked screen
    -          Cannot have any liquid damage
    -          The device cannot be a Barnes & Noble Nook or other eReader

  • Tip for Mail certificates not being honored for parked domains

    I was having trouble with certificates not being honored, such that when my imap mail was being checked I constantly had the warning box come up to tell me the certificate was not valid. I would show the certificate, tell it to be trusted always, and yet I'd still see the triangle warning next to my inbox, and have trouble connecting. Then I saw a post about having multiple domains pointed to the same server, so I forwarded from one domain to the other and now the certificate is honored.
    The other domain I had was parked at the same domain by my host, so the underlying imap server domain was the same for both. That must have caused a conflict in having both certificates be honored, and indeed only one of them at a time would work. Deleting one of the accounts solved the problem, though I had to set up forwarding to bring all my mail from one to the other.
    While the problem is solved, it seems like there ought to be a way that I can have mail to my main domain and parked domain using the same underlying domain imap server not cause this conflict, but in the meantime I'll just have to forward from the parked to the main domain.
    Just wanted to share the solution here.

    I thought this was supposed to pick up all the local aliases?
    What does changing to ( 1 ); do differently to above??

    To restrict access to my C: drive from users using the Common Open/Save dialog, I set the decimal value of the
    NoViewOnDrives registry key to 4. This works well generally and if a user types in c:\ they get a message indicating that such access is redistricted. However, if they enter in c:\users\%username%, it brings them to their profile folder and
    allows them to save (naturally as they have write access to their profile). 
    Q: Why is the NoViewOnDrives setting not being honored for C:\users\%username% yet it is for other paths such as C:\ and C:\users ?

    Based on my test, the scenerio is as you stated. We can access the profile via inputing c:\users\%username%and can creare and save new file. Although you Prevent access to drives from My Computer, users still have right to save files to their
    user profiles. 
    The easy way to prevent users to save data on a location is set folder redirection policy, redirect users’ desktop to a network share where users don’t have write permission.
    Create a network share on your server, but don’t grant write permission for domain users group.

    Had the same problem. I uninstalled icloud, restarted my pc and reinstalled icloud and it's working fine. Hope this helps.

    Hi,
    In VL02 transaction, Its the 2nd button on the toolbar With an `!` mark on the icon along with triangle. CLick that button. It will display the errors bcz of which delivery is not created.
    In VL01, goto EDIT-> LOG.
    The explanation of errors is usually pretty detailed.

  • Planned Order for a Product not being shown

    Hi Experts!!
    I am an ABAPer and I am new to SAP APO. We are now working on /SAPAPO/PPT1. When clicked on some quantity, all the planned orders existing for that product are being shown with respective quantities. Now, I am trying to create a new planned order for a product through FM BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 by splitting the quantity among the receipts. I have gone through several posts and have written the logic. But the newly created planned order is not being shown in /SAPAPO/PPT1. I can't find it anywhere. Am I doing something wrong here?
    Here I explain it with an example. I have an aggregated entry for the month of June with quantity 3000, which is already split under receipts 1234 and 1235 as 1000 and 2000 EA respectively. Now, I need to split it as 1000 EA for each planned order and hence am creating a new plord. I am using same FM for changing plords as well with quantities as 1000. So, now both the receipts are being shown with quantity 1000 and the aggregated value as 2000... and the newly created one is missing. But I need the new one to be displayed and the aggregated should be 3000. Why is this happening? Am I missing something?
    I already have posted a query that is related to this total requirement. Change Receipt Quantity for Planned Order in LiveCache . This has the first part of the total requirement. Just provided for extra info, but not related to this issue however.
    Please help me out. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

    With prior experience, i am sure that the BAPI SAVEMULTI3 can be used for Creation & Change.
    I dont think,the FM's which you are using, are recommended by SAP. So , try to use BAPI most of the time,as it ensure data consistency.
    As you told, order is not flown to ECC, but visible in APO, i would suggest you to check the importing parameters of the bapi, like EVENT CONTROL ( should be '1' ).
    and COMMIT_CONTROL(should be 'E').
    Also, check your queues after execution of bapi. you should find your change pointer in the inbound queue of R/3 System. Do let me know if you still stuck.

  • Password for oc4jadmin is not being set for silent install.

    Application Server 10.1.3 for Windows
    I have recorded a silent install response file. I have added the following line in order to set the password of the oc4jadmin account, but it does not appear to work because I get an invalid username/password when loggin in to the App Server console.
    oracle.iappserver.instance:szl_InstanceInformation={ "cm1" , "hello123" , "hello123" }
    This line worked fine in version 10.1.2.

  • The FIX for FireWire Devices not being found.

    If you have FireWire devices connected to your iMac that are no longer being recognized, this post is for you.
    1. Power off your iMac
    2. Unplug all USB and Firewire cables from the iMac.
    3. Unplug the iMac from the main power.
    4. Wait 4 minutes
    5. Reconnect and power on.
    6. Devices will be found as you'd normally expect.
    Somehow, four minutes without any kind of power resets the Firewire interface so that it will work again.

    1. Power off your iMac
    2. Unplug all USB and Firewire cables from the iMac.
    3. Unplug the iMac from the main power.
    4. Wait 4 minutes
    5. Reconnect and power on.
    6. Devices will be found as you'd normally expect.
    On step five, you say 'reconnect and power on'. Does this mean I should turn on my external device and connect before I turn the iMac on?
    As for my ports being blown, I don't think that's the problem for me. My iPod easily mounts on firewire. And this device mounts on my other machines that use 10.3 panther.
    Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to hyjack this topic, it sounds like you've got a good method and I want to utilize it properly!

  • Warranty not being honored

    Toshiba is not honoring warranty contracts in Argentina (and it looks like some people have the same problem in other countries). Teknaria, the official service provider, a computer parts wholesaler as they say in their own site, cannot get hold of a motherboard for my laptop, which has been at their office for more than two months. They cannot give me any estimate on when it will be repaired, it could be months. The irritating "robots" at the Toshiba call center keep telling me my own details and the "I-know-how-you-feel" stuff every single time I call. After 2 months, Teknaria would now lend me an old computer just to keep my mouth shut. After having purchased three Toshiba laptops, this is my last time. Pathetic, infuriating service. And please, do not send me back to the LATINO Toshiba customer service!!! Is there any way to skip them -as they have been totally useless-?
