Absence Quota to be generated on basis of Working Day

Hi Experts,
I have got a scenario in Time management ( negative time management, no time evaluation) where the client wants absence quota to be generated on the basis of working days of employee. I have checked the configuration for creating base entitlement V_t559E but the following options are available:
Currently i have done the cofiguration on the basis of Accrual period, leave entitlement is 22 days in a year. Wherein entilement each month is coming to 1.83 leaves, but client wants that in case employee is come for only 5 working days in a month the leave generation should accordingly get prorated and in case of 0 working days in a month there should be no entitlement.
Calendar year
Accrual period
Time evalution period
Payroll period
Other period
Please help.

Firstly Update the Period Parameters as per ur dates this has to be done manually T549Q
later generate the Pay Roll Periods useing this Period Paramter
and Change the evaluation Period parameter  in T559L to the Period paratmeter  which you have generated

    Below is my query ...
    Employee joined in the month of April...  Absence Quotas should calculate on prorate basis...
    In a year there are 20 Casual Leaves for an employee...
    So employee joined in the month of 1st april  or 4th of april 6 Leaves should deduct from 20 that is on prorate basis
    what I did was I have selected Prorate basis in accrual entitlements and selected month in Accrual period When I generate RPTQTA00 it is showing 13.2456 something instead of 14 leaves Do I need to do rounding rules or should I have to configure something else? How can I do that If it is rounding or if it is something else how Please let me know

    When you generate RPTQTA00 it is showing 13.2456 something instead of 14 leaves is correct, because you have selected month in ACCRUAL PERIOD tab.
    please select the month in accrual period tab. and try..
    might be when you have saved it, it might not got saved in to that table.
    so please save the table again by selecting month and see it has to get stored in the table by asking you request no.

  • Absence quota should not get generate in Time Evaluation

    Hi All,
    For some employees we lock the payroll. But whenever we run the time evaluation every month employees  who are under lock payroll their absence quota is getting generated every month. It should not happen..
    Please provide solution for this....

    Due to some reasons  some employees payroll data was stopped for payment. for this they delimited in  infotype 0001 start date and payroll area to 90 ie. stop payment.
    So whenever they run time evaluation every month through payroll area wise the employees who are under stop ment their quota is also getting generated. How to stop generating quota?

  • Absence quota addition after Time Evaluation

    Hi Experts,
    This is regarding Time Evaluation.
    Time Evaluation Configuration is fine. Absence quota is getting generated in days.
    But while adding to the previous balance it's treated as hours and the net balance is coming as hours.
    Example, Absence quota from previous year = 15 hrs
                    Quota generated = 0.77 days
                   After generation the total is 15 + 0.77 = 15.77 hours.

    Cause :
    Actually the employee had moved from one Personnel area to another but due to the settings same Absence quota was applicable to the employees in both cases.
    Now i am not able to delimit the record in 2006 from transfer date.

  • Regarding Absence Quotas - SAP Time Management

    1. I want to delete absence quota info type (2006)  but iam unable to delete that ..
    I deleted absence infotype (2001)
                 Planned working time
    I changed  absence infotype (2006)
    I changed Time constraint from Z to 2 still i couldnt able to delete absence infotype (2006)
    It is throwing an error message "Record already deducted (deletion not possible)"...
    2. How many times i can execute RPTQTA00 Program?
    Suppose I created absence quotas Casual Leave 15 days
    if i generate twice it is showing 20 days underneath another 20 days
    what would be the reason for that?
    3. 2001 infotype is completly blocked I cant enter absence hours in that screen itself locked what would be the reason for that
    plz answer immediatly

    Entries made manually...
    when i configured absence quotas   automatically it has shown in absence infotype > 13 casual leaves but i configured 20 it has shown 13  I generated RPTQTA00 it has shown in green colour (13 casual leaves)..
    I deleted that absence quota in 2006 infotype which is showing 13 and i entered 20 in place of 13 now when i generate rptqta00 it is showing 13 plus 20  that is 33..
    i tested for another employee i updated 20 casual leaves when i ran that program it is showing 20 casual leaves in white colour and 13 leaves which is updated automatically in 2006 before even after deleting that 13eit is showing in green colour
    how can i delete green colour data that is showing 13 casual leaves
    Now i generated RPTQTA00
    what can i do now? Please let me know..
    Iam unable to delete absence quotas too? still that error not resolved....

  • Use of Time Evaluation to generate Absence Quota

    Hi,
    We are planning to use time evaluation to generate absence quota. At the moment we are using RPTQTA00 report to generate Absence Quota. We have negative time management and since, the project has already gone live i have very limited scope to change the basic settings for example we do not have any employee subgroup to identify part time employees, PT & FT are in one employee sub-groups. We have only one ESG & PSG for time recording, time quota etc. The base entitlement is defined for the FT employees and it is reduced propertionately based on the employement percentage in IT0007. Now we are going to adopt a change in design, and planning to have specific work-schedule for PT employees. In that case, we will not have the scope to maintain %age in IT0007 for part time employees but exact no of working hours will be used. It means that system will treat the PT emploees as FT while generating absence quota and output the FT absence entitlement. As i said earlier we can not differentiate PT employees from FT employees based on ESG or PSG, i can not create a separate quota selection rule for part time employees. Hence, we are moving from running RPTQTA00 report to time evaluation for absence quota generation purpose.
    Now can anybody please help finding a alternate solution for the above, if it is possible to do it through report RPTQTA00 or we have to adopt the time evaluation. In case we are going to generate absence quota through time evaluation, can we only generate absence quota and skip anything that is related to payroll.
    Any comments/suggestion/advise will be very helpful to us.

    We are not able to generate absence quota for part-time employees as when we do that, system is treating PT employees as FT employees and the FT base entitlement is referred while calculating absence quota. i can not define separate absence entitlement for PT employees as we have only one ESG and PSG, and based on this quota selection group is defined. The QUOMO feature is defined based on work contract - employee sub-group (there is no separate emp sub-group for PT employees) - Pay Scale Group. We are having this problem as we have specific work schedule for PT employees now (Ex. we create 3 days work schedule with 15 hours: 4.5,4.5, 6 hours) and we are not maintaining employement percentage for them. So system is treating PT employee as FT employee with 100% employement percentage. Please let me know if you need any specific info to understand my issue.

    Hi all experts,
    Currently system use Time Evaluation, and generate absece quota in last day of month.
    So any way to change that system will use differ day to generate absence quota?
    Example use day 28 of each month will generate absence quota? Have any enhacement or configuration?

    there 2 better solutions for this, one is Generate Period Parameters and according accordingly the month end date you follow and use the same period parameter in V_T559L table to your Quota.
    and other Solutions is Write a PCR like Below.
    ABCD     (PCR Name)
       varstcrumo
            Varstreday
                 28
                   hrs=1
                   adddbTIME (TIME - Daily Time type - Create it in V_t555a table)
    Save it and go to TM04 Schema, and put this PCR with Function ACTIO and make sure to insert this before QUOTA Function and Before CUMBT. and save it, and dont forget to put TIME Time to your Base entitlement.
    you can run Time Evaluation to test it...let me know how it worked.

  • Absence quota prorate by monthly basis

    Hi Experts,
    I have an issue regarding the absence quota for the new joiner or leaver. My client wants the leave earned to be given upon completion of the month. My current configuration is base on calendar days.
    For example, when a new joiner join the company at 2nd or mid of the month then the leave entitlement will be given for the following month. That mean when an employee join at 3rd or any other days in January 2010, the leave will be prorated starting from February. This same to the leaver, if the employee is leaving the company at 3rd or any other days in April, then the leave will be prorate till March. The entire April will not be take into account.
    My question is how can I configure this scenario?

    Hi,
    If you are not using TE then you will can always write an ABAP program which will run and load data on the first of every month.
    For Hire:
    The program can check the hire date from IT 0041. If the hire date is less than the first of previous month then you can add the monthly entitlement to the absense quote in IT 2006. If it is in the middle of the previous month then you can prorate according to the formula and then add to the monthly entitlement to the absense quota in IT 2006.
    For Termination:
    You can base the above logic with the termination date in the IT 0041
    If you maintain IT 0041 well and good or else you will have to base it on IT 0000 Actions infotype.

    Pls check the follwing tables if u have made correct assignments
    v_t559l
    v_554s
    v_556c
    Check Quoma Feature
    Check what status u selected in IT7
    Check if ur using correct Schema
    If ur Using RPTQTA00 then use No Generation,and if ur using PT60/RPTIME00 change it to Increase.
    Check if u have maintained correct quota groupings.
    Revert back if its not solved

  • Generate Absence Quota For Every 5 Years Service

    Hi Expert,
    First of all, I'm not familiar with PCR as I'm new with time management. Annual leave is generated via RPTQTA00 with no problem. But we have another absence quota (long leave) that is given to the employee every 5 years (22 days of leave). So every 5 years the employee would received 22 days of absence quota. Our problem is when Rptqta is executed, the deduction is start at 01.01.xxxx instead of hiring date. To make a better understanding
    Expectation
    Start Date | End Date | Deduction From | Deduction to
    01.01.2010 | 31.12.2010 | 01.05.2010 (his hiring date) | 01.05.2014
    Actual Result

    I have configure Validity period for default value to, Valid from date = date type :  tech date of entry, Valid form date = Date type : tech date of entry.

    Acctualy we have set the validity period for default values to
    Date Type : Technical Date of Entry
    and validity interval to
    Deduction from : Start of validity interval
    and we have maintained 0041 for that employee, but still the start date is 01.01.2010 instead of 01.06.2010 (01.06 is date in the 41 and the years is 5 years after join). I hope i explained it clearly. Many Thanks

  • Generate Absence Quota based on certain condition

    Hi Experts,
    I'm new in Time Management. I have requirement in generation quota where new employee would have their quota after december in hiring year.
    For example
    A join in 01/06/2010. In 01.01.2011 we generate absence quota and A would have 6 days in year 2011, and normal 12 days in year 2012 and 12 days in the following years.
    B Join in 01/11/2010. In 01.01.2011 we generate absence quota and B would have 2 days in year 2011 and normal 12 days in year 2012 and 12 days in the following years.
    in other word the employee must earn the absence quota first and use it in the following years.
    Can this be achieved without using PCR because i dont have any experience in PCR? Many Thanks

    Thanks for the table, I've found temporary solution with this setting:
    Validity/Deduction Interval
    Deduction from End of validity Interval   - 1 days
    Deduction to end of validity interval  + 12 months
    Enter previous year period for generating quota this year.

  • Generate absence quota through RPTIME00

    Dear Gurus,
    I have to generate absence quota of 2 days every month for all employees and the generated absence quota for the current month will be added in the quota of previous month e.g (2+2=4). I use negative time management and want to use RPTIME00 for this purpose. There are two conditions for quota generation
    1. If the employee leaves by any reason and termination date is greater than 15th will be allowed 2 days
    2. If the employee leaves by any reason and termination date is less than 15th of the month will not be allowed
    Similarly in case of joining of new employee
    1. If the employee Joins by the date is greater than 15th will be not allowed
    2. If the employee joins by the date is less than 15th of the month will be allowed
    What type of schema can I use for this purpose and what will be time management status in infotype 0007 as I am using negative time management. If any expert can explain the source code of schema for this purpose.
    Furthermore can I use the Report RPTQTA00 for generation of remaining annual absence quotas at the same time?

    Hi,
    You can copy standard SAP schema for quota generation and customize. Quota name TQTA.
    You can read schema and see comments, help (F1) to understand what it's doing.
    Those quotas that are generated via schema cannot be generated manually.

    1)In the step SE38 using RPTQTA00 i get an error saying Generation rule is not selected for this Personnel Number.
    2)If i try doing thru PA61, when i select the Absence quota defined n click create i get the Standard Absence Types rather than the ones i created...
    So wat cud be the reason for it,,,,n how to rectify??

    Hi,
    The error is solved wrt SE38 Generating Absence Quotas,but the output window displays the quotas i have defined as well as the standard leave(system default) which i hav not defined and the quotas are displaying multiple times i.e the sick leave is displaying 7 times n paid leave is displaying 8 times.
    So the total for Sick leave is 7X7 = 49days and
    for paid leave 30X8 = 240 days, n when i select subtotal than i wont get the total numbers instead the quotas get displayed multiple times.
    So wats da solution, thanx for the past suggested solutions n for the future ones too.

    Hai Maha,
    You did not assign the validity interval for the quota.
    1 is Esg grouping
    81 is Psg grouping
    01 is quota type no.
    in selection rule table you did not maintain the proper data for particular quota.
    for that go for V_t559L in this table maintain the validity and deduction intervals. There you can select the start of validity interval field and end of validity period and same to deduction interval start and end deduction validity..
    And also check the QUOMO feature and PSg grouping for time recording.
