Af:inputFile bug JDev10131 production ignores Per-request disk space limit

Upload is not working on the new JDev10131 production.
I followed the instructions, but it does not work. (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/addins/exchange/jsf/doc/devguide/fileUpload.html)
I used small (1k,30k) and big files (1mb+)
I've done it before in JDev10131 preview and it works.

  • Bug in production Server !!!

    HI all,
There is a bug in production server. Error message i am getting is :-
"There is an IDoc in the Warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of the source system."
It is a master data that gets loaded in ODS. I have checked in PSA but there is no request in that ODS. Data has not arived.
Can anyone help me to solve this bug urgently....

    Hi there,
    I don't think there's a bug in your system.
What the message tells you is:
BI have sent a question to a source system. The message has left BI but not reached the source systems inbox.
    This is probably due to:
    1. RFC connection was down at load time?
    2. Not enough resources were availiable to handle the IDOCs
You should be able to re-run the load after having made sure in SM59 that everything is OK with the RFC-connections.
Why are you looking i n PSA if the request of getting data hasn't even reached the source system?
    Kind regards
    /martin

  • Ignoring discovery request - AP on dynamic client interface

    Hi All,
I have a questing regarding the AP Management Port on the 5508.
At our customers side there are some FAT-APs and we want to migrate them to the controller.
There is no DHCP Service active on the network (security-restriction by our customer) and the FAT-APs and Clients are configured with a static IP.
There is no LAG active everything is on Port 1.
Now after upgrading one AP to lightwight-mode,... he cannot discover his WLC (thats ok, because the Manament Interface is in a different subnet)
So I configured a IP-Helper and the neccesary udp-Port to get the AP joined on the WLC.
But on the Controller I get the following message:
%CAPWAP-3-DISC_INTF_ERR2: Ignoring discovery request received on a
wrong VLAN ([dec]) on interface ([int]) from AP
    [hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]
The wrong VLAN in the message is a dynamic Interface on the Controller for client and the AP is in that Subnet.
It its created as an Dynamic Interface on the WLC (without "Enable Dynamic AP Management")
I hope you can give me a hint. I'm not sure if I should enable "Dynamic AP Management" on that Client Interface.
By the way, the AP can join when i configure the Controller IP via console on it. But that should not be the solution
    Thanks &
    Best regards,
    Simon

    Hi Nicolas,
    thanks for your reply.
I know, that this design is not "best practice".
Our customer has a LAN which has to be completly redesigned.
They use very huge subnets for their different production segments (255.255.240.0) and everything is in there.
The Autonomous AP Installation is in one of these huge network segments where the APs and the clients are in the same subnet..
Thats the background why this szenario is created.
I know that this design is absolutly unsatisfactory.
But thats the fact and I have to deal with this.
The helper is the WLCs Management Adress.
So what about the "ignoring discovery request" message.
Is there some possibility to get it work this way or is the only way to upgrade the APs via Console to get them to the controller.
I know the best way would be to get the APs in a new different subnet,...
    regards,
    Simon

  • Ignoring assoc request due to mobile in exclusion list

    Hi,
I currently have an issue with a client who has 4 wireless scanners that will not register to the same SSID as 10 identical scanners at the same site
I have debugged the client and received the following output : -
*apfMsConnTask_0: Jun 18 11:59:56:720: 00:15:70:f2:bf:be Ignoring assoc request due to mobile exclusion list
The client can take the sanner(s) to another site and they will register without any issue ( to an AP controlled by a different WLC )
I have compared the setup and can see no differences
The WLCs are Cisco 4400 running v7.0.235.3
The SSID concerned is running WPA2 with Auth PSK
I have checked and can see no excldued clients on the 'problem' WLC
I also checked from CLi just in case there was a mismatch ( show clientexclusion ) and again, this showed no excldued clients
What exactly does the debug message mean and is there anywhere I can view the underlying cause of this issue

And here's the same from the WLC without any issue :-

  • Aggregate tables have many partitions per request

We are having some performance issues dealing with aggregate tables and
Db partitions. We are on BW3.5 Sp15 and use Oracle DB 9.2.06. After
some analysis, we can see that for many of our aggregates, there are
sometimes as much as a hundred partitions in the aggregates fact table.
If we look at infocube itself, there are only a few requests (for
example, 10). However, we do often delete and reload requests
frequently. We understood that there should only be one partition per
request in the aggregate (infocube is NOT set up for partitioning by
    other than request).
We suspect the high number of partitions is causing come performance
issues. But we don;t understand why they are being created.
I have even tried deleting the aggregate (all aggregate F tables and
partitions were dropped) and reloading, and we still see many many more
partitions than requests. (we also notice that many of the partitions
have a very low record count - many less than 10 records in partition).
We'd like to understand what is causing this. Could line item
dimensions or high cardinality play a role?
    On a related topic-
We also have seen an awful lot of empty partitions in both the infocube
fast table and the aggregate fact table. I understand this is probably
caused by the frequent deletion and reload of requests, but I am
surprised that the system does not do a better job of cleaning up these
empty partitions automatically. (We are aware of program
    SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS).
I am including some files which show these issues via screen shots and
partition displays to help illustrate the issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Ideally the aggregates should get compressed by themselves - there could be some change runs that have affected the compression.
    Check the following :
    1. See if compressing the cube and rolling up the aggregates will merge the partitions.
    2. What is the delta mode for the aggregates ( are you loading deltas for aggregates or full loads ) ?
    3. Aggregates are partitioned according to the infocube and since you are partitioning according to the requests - the same is being done on the aggregates.
Select another partitioning characteristic if possible. - because it is ideally recommended that request should not be used for partitioning.

  • R12 Restrict Parallel Concurrent Requests Per User to a Limit.

    Hi everyone,
Is it possible to restrict parallel concurrent requests per user to a limit.
e.g. UserA sending concurrent requests to submit 15 heavy reports one after another. After 2 minutes he feels free. Now 15 reports running in parallel are heavy enough to take system's performance down. Is there a way to restricting parallal reports by a single user to 5.
    Waitning........

  • Per-request singleton

I am coming from the .NET world and am relatively new to Java web apps. A construct I have found very useful in .NET is having a class that acts as a singleton to provide services to other classes on a per-request basis. In other words, for the purposes of that request the class is a singleton. I would use it, for example, to signal the beginning and end of a SQL transaction. .NET has the concept of "thread-static", which means that a member variable can be declared static on a per-thread (or per-request) basis. I cannot simply declare an variable "static" in Java because it would be available to all simultaneous requests, which would be an error. Is there a way of doing this in Java?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

This is definitely the Java part of what I need. Thanks! Now, the remaining part is to figure out the - I assume javax part, which allows me to insert code that is executed at the beginning of a request and at the end. I assume there is some javax class that I need to extend, or an interface I must implement in order to get this. The ServletContextListener class allows me to hook into web app startup and shutdown, but not each request.

    What can I do?

The good thing about mac-centric resellers such as OWC, is they have people on staff that can answer questions without you buying things first. They also have how-to information, and instructions are included in many of their products. I saw a link to watch a DIY video in one of their pages; an example of a RAID (with its own power supply) is shown on their drives page. Also a few in there, with no power supplies, for less money.
If I were looking to backup and perhaps also have a partition for a system clone, I'd consider something like one of these: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/1394/USB/EliteAL/eSATA_FW800_FW400_USB
Some ideas on the RAID backup methods appear in google search, some of the pages are ideas and concepts; and the better ones also warn about using RAID for the only backup plan.
Oh, OWC has live chat. Haven't tried it, nor have I bought anything from them. I have what appears to be two products from them, but have not used either. One is in a box as-new, but has only USB2.0 ports & my Macs needed FW400/800. It has been said their RAM is a good way to upgrade, too. But I can't confirm!
A 'RAID-ready' unit for backup may be more versatile for just that, but I have not checked into these details. I use single HDDs in powered enclosures, and usually manually make backup clones to FW drives, of bootable OS X systems. Some of the OWC raid-ready use eSATA ports so that may not be viable for a computer without them.
The unused in-box external drive I have is like the base model in the link above. However mine is USB2.0 (maybe) and won't boot my older Macs due to hardware variance; and my preference would be for FireWire options, these models do offer that. But the one I have does not. Dual 500GB HDDs, and they could be used in tandem as a RAID. That would be a choice set up in software. I'm not sure and not interested enough to read up just now.
    My backup method is not automatic, or a moving backup plan, if I don't get a move-on and make full system clones. I do make copies of photos and documents the manual way, to USB external drives; and occasionally backup to DVD or CD media. And USB flash, that helps to move files between computers without need to use file sharing via wi-fi. {Like Why fly? Walking is better exercise unless one is a bird. Squawk!}
    https://www.google.com/#q=raid+backup+mac
Depending on the ports in your Mac, you may be able to use other cables to attach between a backup or externally enclosed hard disk drive with multiple partition and bootable clone in one of them. Not sure about the Thunderbolt, and where that is the main port, adapters are required to access other devices, as allowed.
Anyway, I am going on and on, yet not really saying anything.
My ideas would not be all that interesting to follow as a backup
plan when matching available newer hardware to task, but you
can get some into better ideas if you are not in a rush. Get a
good setup and then look into more an betterer stuff.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Libproxy.so eat out the last past of my request with space in the name

    Hi,
I used the following 2 configurations:
    1. Solaris: iPlanet Web Server WebLogic 6.1
    2. W2000: IIS WebLogic 6.1
Both of the web server just work as a gateway. All static and dynamic pages (images, JavaScript file, CSS file) are served by the WebLogic Server. (This sounds a little bit wierd. So we dropped this kind of configuration already.)
I configured both the Web server to forward all requests with "*/portal/*" to WebLogic server. It works fine except the requests with space inside. For example:
    http://localhost:8080/portal/abc def.html
(I encode space to when I type it in browser).
And I got a 404 error. (The file is really there.) And I checked both web server's access log, I saw the request for "abc def.html", but when I checked WebLogic's access log, I saw the request for "abc". So I think Weblogic's proxy eats out the last part of my request: "def.html". Of course, WebLogic server could not find a file called "abc" in that directory.
And finally, in order to test my observation, I created a file called "abc" in that directory. And then the browser shows the content of the file "abc".
Does anyone see this kind of problem before? I think this is a bug in weblogic's proxy program.

    Hi.
Are you seeing this in both configurations (ie both iPlanet and IIS)?
Does the problem go away entirely when you hit the servers directly (ie iPlanet and IIS aren't involved)?
Are you running any service packs? You should be using service pack 2. If you are not please upgrade and use the plugin from this latest service pack.

    Michael

  • Why quality sytem disk space  should be the same as Production disk space

    Hi All,
Why quality sytem disk space should be the same as Production system disk space. Please give few points and also the impact if the disk spaces are not same. Its URGENT.

    Karunakar,
It all depends on what you do with your QA system. I personally don't think QA and Prod should be of the same size.
QA is your testing environment, the one where you perform the final tests and validations before going to Prod.
In my personal experience and practice, for QA:
    - Daily loads of Master Data - Master Data is good to keep it updated, for obvious reasons
    - No daily transactions loads - You can load your transaction data on demand, depending on the specific area you need to test. You can initialize and load sample periods or sets of data. Once you're done, that's it.
    - No copy from BW Prod to QA - You really don't need to. As far as they do "refresh" from R/3 Prod to R/3 QA, you'll have data in QA good enough to test. Also, copying Prod to QA in BW can mess your transports sequence and put the systems out of sync or make you re-transport requests that were already in QA but not in Prod. Also, by doing those copies, it's like having two Production systems to maintain... Your landscape and maintenance costs will grow much faster
In my opinion, Development and QA have a controlled growing, following those guidelines. Only Prod will keep growing during time, which makes sense.
    My 2 cents...
    Regards,
    Luis

  • Request work space link on downloaded version of HTMLDB

I have been using HTMLDB for a while now and I am very much impressed. I want to open up the local installation I have to all the developers in my firm. That is when I noticed that "Request work space" link is not there in my local version of htmldb. The first impression would be much better if they can request a workspace online rather than call me up. Is there a way I can get the functionality on my local install ?

Please ignore.... Found out that it is quite simple... change provisioning status to "request" from "manual"
